I had taylor watch my dog for the weekend and she was awesome! I got lots of updates with pictures and felt totally comfortable with my dog being with her. The house was clean when I got back and I would definitely recommend Katie’s kennel and specifically Taylor to watch your pup!

Katie Kennel is fantastic. We needed someplace to leave our two pups over Thanksgiving but all of the place were booked. Katie Kennel came thru in our time of need. We had a lot of great things about them and they had a ton of good reviews. We were blown away by how thoughtful and friendly the staff were. We left our two with Claire. During the week we were gone we got photo and video three times a day. Our two had such a fun time together with all of the other pups that were there. Claire made sure that they played and got treats and were treated wonderfully. I don’t think I convey in this review how wonderful Claire was. We were hesitant leaving them with Katie Kennel, but after meeting Claire and here pup and all of the daily photos and video she would send I don’t think we would leave them with anyone else. Thank you for being amazing.

I only have the BEST things to say about Katie’s Kennel! We found KK when looking for options other than boarding but have also used them for play dates. SIT: Rachel immediately made our Dalton feel like one of her own. She takes the most amazing care of him, and provides me lots of updates including lots of park visits and pup cups. Gives me so much comfort being away, knowing he is having just as much fun as we are! We will never take him anywhere else! PLAY: Hannah has helped us w Dalton during the day too while I have work trips and we can always tell he has the best time! He goes to the park for an hour and gets lots of playtime and exercise, we always get the best recaps. She even gave us some walking tips! We are so lucky we found Katie’s kennel!

We’ve been using Katie’s Kennel for 6+ years and they always take such great care of our dogs! Dorothy has been especially fantastic with our senior dog - if you have/had a senior dog, you understand how much you worry about them when you’re away and there’s no doubt in our mind that she treats them SO well and takes care of them and their routines just like we would. There’s also something to be said about coming home to a house in the same (or better) condition than when you left. Can’t recommend Katie’s Kennel enough!

Katie’s Kennel has been amazing to work with! We did an in home sitter recently and Dorothy was AMAZING! She cared for our boys like they were her own and gave us lots of updates and photos so we felt reassured they were loved while we were away. Much better option than boarding for us! We also use Brenda for our regular walks and she is wonderful too! The updates are so detailed and personalized, I never have to worry when I’m at work knowing they are well cared for. We have used Katie’s Kennel for about 2 years now and could not speak more highly about them! Brendan treats our dogs like his own and goes above and beyond to make sure they get plenty of energy out and loved on! If you are looking for a highly reliable and amazing company to help with your pets you must try them out! My dogs are in heaven when Brendan comes to get them!

Katie’s has the best of the best when it comes to taking care of your pets. Sarah Watters, Felicia, Halie, & Simone are my go to team and my boys LOVE them!!! They take the greatest care, show love and compassion, and make the best of friend with your pet. My Scotties go absolutely bonkers when one of the team members come by for their walk. Biscuit and I love Katie’s Kennel! It’s so nice knowing they love my pup as much as I do when I can’t be with him. Both the walk and play services have been a life saver when I’m at the office and can’t make it home. Katie and all the walkers do a great job communicating when they are coming, what is going on and how the visit went. Biscuit looks forward to Ms. Jo coming over for his post walk cuddles!

We love Katie’s Kennel and have been using them since moving to KC last year. They are very responsive and reliable. Natassia walked our dog Izzy several times and Izzy was genuinely excited to get outside and walk with her. Natassia even sat inside with Izzy one day while Izzy was afraid of the thunder going on outside and comforted her. I love knowing that Izzy is being taken care of by people who really care about dogs.

They were nothing short of amazing in caring for my 3 month old kitten. I received text and photo updates and they even brought her some fun toys to play with that she’s still enjoying. Very professional and communicative — will absolutely use for all my future needs!

We use Pet Pals KC at our property and they are incredible with the animals. They truly care about the well being of all pets and their owners and send the sweetest photo updates. Their app is user friendly, their staff are all friendly and I felt at ease knowing my pup was safe with them!

I cannot rave about Pet Pals KC enough! Miranda and Shelby took great care of my dog. I signed up for daily walks while I'm working and loved getting my report and photos every day. Everyone that I came into contact with was professional, courteous and went above and beyond! Great communication and availability from the entire team. The app is great - very easy to schedule, leave notes and pay invoices. You will not be disappointed by this group and your pets will love them. 10 STARS!!

My experience with Pet Pals KC has been amazing. They are reliable, flexible, responsive, reasonably priced and most importantly, they love pets! The walker sends a daily email about the walk incl pictures of your pet...thanks Candice! Highly recommend. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

We are so happy with Pet Pals KC! First of all they are far more professional and organized than two larger companies we tried. We are super impressed! Then on top of that the owners and walkers are so friendly, invested in our little family humans and pup, even our cat. They respond immediately to any messages and are flexible. We are huge fans!

We're big fans of Pet Pals, but specifically Maura! They take amazing care of our dogs. Maura sends the best photos and a run down of each visit that helps make our work day a little better knowing someone loves our dogs as much as we do and keeps them safe while letting them have some fun and get some energy out. Maura is also excellent about bringing in packages, which is never expected, but always appreciated!

Pet Pals is incredible! They watched my three cats while I was out of town for five days, and I couldn't have been more pleased. I got a daily update with photos, so I knew how the cats were doing and what exactly the sitters had done while they were there. More than that, I could tell that the ladies watching my cats truly cared about them and their wellbeing while I was gone. Using Pet Pals allowed me to enjoy my time out of town, because I knew my babies were in good hands. I will absolutely be using this service any time I need pet care!

When it comes to caring for a Cane Corso like Reagan, it takes a special kind of attention and understanding. Sammy's Pet Care has been a godsend for us. Sammy has gone above and beyond in providing care that's as majestic as our Reagan herself. From the spacious play areas that cater to Reagan's love for exercise to the personalized attention she gets, every aspect of the care is top-notch. It's clear that Sammy doesn't just look after the physical needs of the pets but also nurtures their emotional well-being. Reagan has always been a bit reserved, but Sammy's warm and gentle approach has really helped her come out of her shell. We're deeply appreciative of the loving environment at Sammy's Pet Care, and so is Reagan!

I was in KC for a day on Spring Break. I found Sammy through Google. It was last minute and he took very good care of my Prissy. He also kept me updated with text messages, pics, and videos. 10/10 recommend.

Sammy is our go to let sitter for our dogs when we're out of town. He's beyond thorough, thoughtful, and an upstanding guy. He has excellent communication, cares for our dogs like they were his, and goes above and beyond. Highly recommend Sammy for your pet care needs!

If you're looking for someone with a good soul to care for your companion, this guy is it. You know how you meet someone and can tell they're a good person? That's definitely how I felt meeting Sammy years ago. He will care for them like they are part of his own family, no doubt.

Sammy has watched our dog several times. He is attentive to detail, prompt, is great with communication, and truly cares about our Duke. Our dog has doggie demential and Sammy has been great taking care of him, as well as trying to think of ways to engage him. I highly recommend Sammy and we will continue to use him going forward.

Sammy's Pet Care has been a true lifesaver for me and my Shiba Inu. My Shiba has been difficult as he has been diagnosed with anxiety. Sammy has been very understanding and patient with him. He's additionally provided training tips to improve he's obedience training and it has done wonders, I am thankful for his services and recommend without hesitation!

Sammy is an excellent pet care provider. I have OCD and I am very particular about who can take my husky out of the house from the anxiety around that and her shimmying out of her harness if held a certain way. If you know huskies you know they're professional escape artists. I trust Sammy with her and he has always given her the best care.

Sammy's Pet Care is my go-to for pet sitting. Not only are their services incredibly affordable, but the quality of care is top-notch. We have a Giant Schnauzer, Maltese, Shih Tzu, and a senior American Bully. Regardless of the size, breed, and age Sammy is great! He responds promptly anytime I communicate and sends photo updates as well. I recommend using Sammy's Pet Care if you don't already.

Excellent experience with Camp now Wow Liberty. Front desk is very helpful. I really like being able to watch our pup on camera during day care. Not used for overnight yet but so far so good. Charley is always excited to go and worn out when she leaves.

KIRK IS EXTREMELY RUDE . I called to set an appointment he hung up in my face , I then called back asked if he had hung up on me , he said “who is this what do you want “ ? I’ve been with camp now wow for years and I’ve never experienced this type of unprofessionalism over the phone until I called the location in liberty. I normally do NOT go out of my way to leave a review on a business because it could potentially hurt them , but this behavior needs to be corrected immediately. I’ve just finished talking to the higher ups and they were extremely nice. KIRK you’re rude and you should fix your tone if you’re going to be answer phones. I’ve read the reviews and all the bad ones are mostly about you and your customer service. Let’s do better .

My first time boarding my dogs there and it was amazing. They were so well taken care of and with the cameras, I could see them anytime I wanted.

I loved loved Camp Bow Wow! My little Yorkie did as well! I was greeted very politely...and my little Benjamin was treated with awesome care.. Great place for your little or big furrend friend to go.. I was able to watch his every move on my mobile phone when I down loaded their app. I appreciate and trust the staff. The facility is clean and the staff is friendly. I love the cameras and the luxury boarding also has a camera to watch my baby while she sleeps. That said, lets get to the only reason I ever leave a comment, and that is important decision making information when it comes to ANY business entrusted to give you all of the options concerning costs of services, listening to my concerns, complaints and resolving them in a timely fashion. I boarded my super senior dog here, she is about 12 years old. I had concerns about her temperment being she is aged. I would have preferred she NOT be with other dogs at all. My words fell on deaf ears. My sweet Gracie was referred to as "the old geezer" and " because she is so fat"...... in other words, We will do this our way to your dog. This is how we do things. I was not given information about the different boarding options, my dog went straight to the luxury suit which has a camera ( which I loved) but would not have chosen because it is 70.00 a night. I said out loud to the staff so 49.00 dollars a night....no one EVER corrected me. So, for first timers, BE AWARE. While I like the concept of Camp Bow Wow, they are not able to customize a care plan for your Super Senior dogs, ONE SIZE FITS ALL here. Secondly, communication here is not forthright. If you dont know to make them write it down in your presence you will be suprised by the bill. I also requested a bath and toenail trim for Grace. I was told she had a bath and toenail trim. AND YOU GUESSED IT...she didn't receive those services. I was not charged. But, all in all I'm a little bit upset with the added stress of dealing with a group of people who dont listen and do things their own way. However, I would be willing to try them again, but I will definitely be on my A GAME next time that's for sure. Kirk needs to train the staff to deal with people and money or hire someone for intake purposes. Thank you Theresa

My pup LOVES Camp Bow Wow Liberty. I know I’ve made the best decision for Linus when I decided to take him there. The staff is courteous and professional. When I see Linus at play, I do see he’s getting the attention and the interaction with other dogs he needs to thrive and grow. And love from the staff. Had my dog with them since we lived in New Orleans and love how they treat my dog. They are caring and very professional and my dog enjoys going there and playing. The staff is absolutely amazing and attentive to all the dogs, the onsite grooming service is very helpful. They have monthly fun stuff they plan for the dogs and they are very affordable. Luce from the Liberty location is absolutely amazing and my dog adores her so much! She does his snuggle time and he just animates when he hears her voice, they take amazing care of my dog when he comes. My dog has made so many great and fun new friends with that he plays with all day and comes home tired and played out. So worth it 😁

Absolutely love this place for Zhu. All the people who work there are kind and happy to be with your pup, and they greet them that way. Love that you can look in on your fur baby at any time. Love the groomer Jenny for taking care of his grooming needs. You will know that your pup is in a safe and fun environment!

This was our first time coming here and they were great! We usually leave our dog Duke with a family member when we travel but this time they went with us. Our family member is close friends with the owners mom and suggested we use them and they did not disappoint! We were very nervous to leave him with strangers but Tracy communicated with us all week and kept us updated and reassured. There was a little confusion when we picked him up that was completely my fault but Tracy was very responsive and worked everything out quickly! Duke seemed happy and doing great when we got him and that was so good to see! Thank you for taking such great care of him!

My pup Sharkee has been going to Robin the groomer for a few years now. She is AMAZING!! Sharkee loves his time there! Robin is gentle and kind and listens to her clients.

I am so happy with my dogs stay at Kate’s! The staff was so friendly and helpful. This was my first time leaving Gigi alone for more than a weekend and i was more than anxious about it. Tracey sent me a few updates (see update below, Gigi is the little dog with the big dogs - she’s bossy! Lol) and was very communicative. I had to change my check out date/time for Gigi a few times as well based on friends availabilities and they were totally fine with it and just so helpful and sweet. Highly recommend this place and Gigi will be back! :)

Have been using Kate’s for my little dog, Weasel for over 12 years :) she’s always taken care of, and loves seeing her friends (canine and human) when I drop her off. As she is getting older and slower it is a huge relief and blessing for me to take her somewhere that I know she is safe, happy, and cared for. ❤️

I’ve been taking my dog Larry there for just over a year. He’s a very high energetic dog and daycare does wonders for tiring him out (especially In the summertime when it’s too hot to walk him). Staff is great and Larry loves going!

The owner and her staff are absolutely wonderful. We have always had a great experience at Kate's canine resort. And our dog Lee-o loves going there. We always feel very comfortable when leaving Lee-o with the staff at Kate's.

We've been taking our dog to doggy daycare at Kate's for over a year now and absolutely love it! I love that we can drop him off for daycare any day, without having to book ahead of time and know that he is being well cared for and loved while he's at Kate's. Definitely recommend!

We took our dog for the first time for boarding and it was a great experience! The staff was friendly and checking in and out was a smooth process. Getting a video report card by text of our dog was definitely a plus! Our dog seemed happy and we didn't have any issues. We'll be taking our dog there in the future!

My dog acts like he doesn't know me when he gets here. He loves hanging out with the staff and the other dogs. It's such a relief knowing your pet is taken care of and you don't have to worry while you are away from your pet!!!

We found Nancie a few weeks ago when needing a pet sitter for our Jake. She kept him in her home for four days and loved him like he was her own. She sent us daily text with pics. Was nice seeing him so relaxed and happy. We’re so thrilled to have found Nancie and Jake is too! Thanks Nancie:)

We found Nancie three years ago when our pup was too young to go to dog boarding (she hadn’t been spayed yet) but we needed somewhere for her to go due to a family emergency. We honestly haven’t looked back since! Our Honey Bunny loves Nancie! She gets to play with other gentle dogs and we know she’ll get 1:1 attention while we are away. She also gets the comfort of a home and a backyard. Highly recommend Four Paws! Pics Nancie has sent of our girl, happy and snuggly! ☺️

My Charlie girl always has a good time when she stays at Four Paws. I love the in home atmosphere. Charlie is free in the house all the time. Nancie has a big fenced yard for the dogs to enjoy. I'm very glad I found Four Paws!

Nancie has been petsitting for my dogs for years and she is always excellent with them! I know I can always trust Four Paws to make sure my pups have fun and are well-looked after, especially if they need medication or special attention, and I never have to worry while I’m away.

Nancie is so good to our dog Leo. And I love the fact he doesn't have to stay in a kennel. I highly recommend letting you dog stay with her

Nancie is so so kind! My pug, Hugo, has a great time every time I have to leave town and he stays with Nancie. She's a home away from home. I've been blessed enough to have family watch him usually but moved to Kansas City and needed somewhere I knew he would be safe and loved. Nancie provides that and more. Highly recommend!

Nancie is the best! We like the in-home setting she provides and the love and attention she shows our dog, Charlie, whenever he stays. Nancie recently watched our large lab on short notice after some of the larger kennels said they had no more room for a large dog. She did a wonderful job of taking care of our boy and sent us daily updates and photos of him. We will only be using Nancie to watch our dog from now on! Highly recommend!

We love Four Paws Pet sitters! Every time we take our dog here we know he is well taken care of. Nancie's love for animals is so evident. Our dog was always super nervous to go to kennel boarding places, but at Nancie's house he feels right at home and is always excited to see her! They get to stay in a home environment and get treated very well. We have always had great experiences and highly recommend!

I can not say enough great things about Nancie. She communicates very well leading up to the drop off date and even sent pictures of our two dogs while they were with her for several days. Not to mention we booked the week of Christmas on very short notice, but she was more than accommodating. We got the boys back today and could tell they were so happy to be there. Not anxious like they usually are when picking them up from a boarding kennel. They also smell really good and she sent them home with bags of treats :) Nancie is the best! We’ll be using her again in the future.

Woof’s has been very great at taking care of my dog while I’m at school for long hours. It is very easy to book, the place is always clean, and my dog enjoys seeing all of his friends at daycare. I enjoy the membership perks and find the prices here to be reasonable. They always have cute themes and activities each month. I plan to use Woof’s for the next few years while finishing my degree. Would highly recommend!

I recently took my 6/7-month-old puppy to Woofs Play and Stay for her meet and greet, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. It was her first real opportunity to socialize with other dogs, and she absolutely loved it! The team at Woofs Play and Stay is exceptionally well-trained and ensures that any potential issues are minimized, making for a safe and enjoyable environment. They also offer overnight stays, which I plan to take advantage of in the future, and their membership program comes with some great perks. I am also planning to add grooming to my dog's next visit. Overall, Woofs Play and Stay has exceeded my expectations. Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience for my pup!

Max loves coming to daycare at Woof’s Gladstone! They greet Max by name when we come in. We love the fun activity days they have regularly scheduled, such as pup cup day (with owner permission, of course!) and Chiefs photoshoot day. He has also stayed for overnight stays and has had grooming sessions there. Absolutely love Woof’s!!

I take my dogs to Woof's Play and Stay and they love it! They love interacting with other dogs. The staff is sooo friendly and helpful. I was worried that that my dogs wouldn't like it, but they love it and love going back. I only have good things to say about this place. Moose and Murphy will be back. PS. The pupdates when I'm out of town are super cute and the sweetest reminder that they are doing well.

Our dog Cash is always excited to go to Woof’s whenever I take him in. We use them for both day play and boarding when we’re out of town. The staff is always very friendly and attentive when I’m there. The facility is always clean and well kept. I love that you can check in on your dog via their webcams for extra peace of mind.

Convenient location and great staff! Meelo loves going to daycare at the Gladstone location and has been coming weekly for over 3 years. We also have the peace of mind when we travel that he is comfortable with the other dogs and staff when we board him there.

Woofs is a great place to take your dogs for daycare. My pups haven’t moved since coming home. They received excellent care and I loved being able to watch them on the cameras. The pups can’t wait to see their new friends again.

Never worried when I take my dog for day-play and/or boarding. The staff is always kind and the communication is great! Also love that I can open up the website and watch the cameras to see what my pup is up to.

We’ve been taking our little girl here since she was 4 months old and she absolutely loves it. She loves the staff, has made all the dog friends, and comes home tired (which is hard to do with an Aussie). Would recommend to anyone with fur babies!

My first time taking my dogs here for daycare. I came across them while doing some errands for Great Plains SPCA (the donated a lovely package to our mega fundraiser! How awesome!) anyway, I got great vibes from everyone and the facility was clean so I talked to them a little about my dogs and their needs. I gave it a shot today and it was perfection! I have a young GSD mix who is full of energy and a 12 year old super mutt who prefers to be a wallflower. They both did great and I loved reading their report cards and seeing their pictures! They were just as happy when I picked them up and didn’t dart for the front door which is a great sign! The staff are wonderful. I even called to check on them during the short time they were there and they went and checked on them and were very thorough. I highly recommend this spot to anyone who has serious anxiety about who watches their dogs!! I’ve already scheduled another daycare appointment! So so glad this place is here. I love that there is an outdoor area and not like 50 dogs all over the place like some other places. Young or old, they will take care of your babies.

We LOVE city dogs! We have been taking our golden girl there for a few months now and she gets excited every time we pull into the parking lot. We have been using all services, daycare, boarding, grooming, and we even have the dog park membership. City dogs has become our girl’s home away from home. The staff are all so kind and genuinely care about our dog’s wellbeing. So much so that when our girl was sick and couldn’t come to daycare one week, the staff text us to check on her and see how she was doing! And let me tell you, the facility is so clean and spacious! I feel comfortable knowing that our girl is always in good hands when she is under the care of the City Dogs staff. They go above and beyond for your pup and love them just as much as you! If you have been considering using City Dogs for any type of service, do it! I promise you will not regret it!

I have recently been taking my pup here to CITYDOGs and I’ve been loving it so far!! Definitely recommend. The staff is so nice and laid back and already know my pup and I by name. My pup is always happy to go with the staff so that’s how I know they have been so nice/ patient with her. Although my only complaint is you have to pay for photo updates/ report cards on your pup which can be expensive when you put that on top of the full day of daycare fee. This is important to me given most of the time I keep her there for at least 8 hrs. So that’s 8hrs I don’t know what my pup is doing or if she is behaving with the other pups. Overall though I highly recommend CITYDOGs for their HUGE play space, easy pickup/ drop off, fun held events/activities, and awesome staff. Give these guys an incentive/ recognition or something because they are always on it. :)

Our dog is OBSESSED with everything CityDogs related! He gets so excited to go to daycare and absolutely loves the staff. We’re so happy we found a spot that has daycare, lodging, a dog park, and grooming all in one, and love that we can trust that our dog will be well loved and taken care of!

Had to leave town for two weeks and left my pup at city dogs for 5 days. I mentioned being nervous about leaving her for so long but they kept me up to date and made me feel secure for most of the duration of her stay! I’ll def be taking her back to city dogs!

City Dogs KC is amazing. They don’t just treat you good as a customer, I get the sense they truly care for my dogs. You can tell they care about their true end customers, the dogs. We get the benefit of that as the dogs owners. They are always doing things above and beyond to try and engage us as customers that have a positive impact our best friends- the Dogs!!! I would highly recommend them.

I have been bringing my 7 yr old rescue husky here for two years and they are the absolute best. My dog can be very anxious and skeptical and she does very good at City Dogs. Every time we walk in they remember her name and are so sweet to her while she warms up to being back. The building is very clean and neat. I recommend City Dogs to everyone I meet.

I highly recommend them to anyone who needs pet boarding in the KC area. I’ve been using their services for a little over 16 months now. My pup absolutely loves it there and never wants to leave when I pick her up. I trust them fully and the prices are reasonable. Reservations are easy to make and they will do their best to accommodate you and your pup.

We had to leave our pitbull for the first time and he can be extremely reactive to people. We were nervous at first but the staff reassured us that they work with dogs of all levels of temperaments and that he would be in good hands. They weren’t lying! He did great! By the time we picked him up they said they were able to get him out of his kennel, loved attention from staff and even gave him his bath prior to pickup. We are so thankful for this facility and the amazing staff! 10/10 would recommend to anyone that believes their dog has reactivity or aggression.

Elkhound Ranch is absolutely amazing! I have a large, reactive, dog and I fully trust this facility when I board her. The staff at Elkhound work closely with each dog to make sure they are playing well with each other. I trust my dog is safe in their hands! Elkhound ranch also provides grooming and they do a great job! Over the summer, I did a two week board and train for my dog here and I was so nervous at first to leave her but it ended up being an AMAZING experience. I would give this place 10 stars if I could!

I've been boarding my dog Leany here for years. She absolutely freaking LOVES it. To the point her tail starts thumping the car door when we get close. It's a nerve-wracking experience to trust someone with your fur baby, but they make it SO easy. They even provide baths and nail trims! Look no further than Elkhound Ranch Kennels.

This is an amazing facility for your lil furry friends. Our two dogs enjoy their time spent away and always come back home smelling fresh and ready for a nap. One of our dogs requires a bit of space and is very wary of strangers. So far, he has been doing wonderfully and slowly coming out of his shell more. We are very grateful for the patience and kindness the staff continues to show our dogs. They are willing to work with you on what is best for your dog as to make the experience more enjoyable + safer for them. Scheduling is never a hassle, communication is clear, and pick up/drop off is easy. We look forward to the next time our kiddos get a “weekend at camp” and will continue to utilize their services for all future pets. Thank you always!

Nothing but exceptional service! Our 150lb Rottweiler, Chief was treated so well. The staff is great. Paid the extra for daily walks and he was in a suit that was great for his size so he could run from inside to outside! For a pawrent that has never kenneled their dogs this turned out better than expected. He was so happy to see me after a weeks stay. Thank you again! If services are needed in the future we will be back and definitely referring you to those who ask.

We took our two dogs in for boarding and training. We have been pleased with the results. One of our dogs is a rescue who was abused; and we are going to follow up the boarding training with some one-on-one sessions. We are especially pleased with the trainer, who took a lot of time explaining the training to us; but everyone was knowledgeable about our dogs, and could share information with us when we called or came and dropped of a prescription refill. We feel confident in recommending Elkhound Ranch for either boarding or training, or both.

Elkhound is amazing! I always feel safe leaving my pup there! The staff is super sweet! Never have they had a problem with my dog even though other daycares have told me he has “gate aggression.” They tell me there’s no such thing and most dogs act that way when overstimulated. I will always bring him here and no where else!

I did a 2 week board and train for my 12 week old Bernese Mountain Dog Poodle Mix and it was amazing. I got videos of all the progress she was making on her training. When I went to pick Penny up all of the staff were incredible and I was extremely impressed by Penny’s training progress in only 2 weeks. When we were getting ready to leave the Trainer was genuinely sad to say goodbye to my girl and all the staff came out to give her pets and cuddles. I walked away knowing that she was truly taken care of and loved. We are a couple weeks out from when she left and I’m still impressed everyday by how obedient she is for a puppy with boundless energy. We will definitely be booking here again!

We have used Elkhound Ranch for about a year now for our husky Khaleesi. We did the one month training with Josh and we could tell a significant difference in behavior and listening. We constantly bring her to doggy day care and all the staff know her by name, she is thrilled to see each team member. I love being able to get her bathed and groomed there, she smells wonderful and they do a way better job than Petco or Petsmart. I can tell they even do some training work if we board her for several days. Any questions or thoughts I’ve shared are always considered and Josh is quick to resolve any concern. I love that she always comes home wore out, (picture of needed nap), it’s especially important to us since we don’t have a fenced in yard. They know us by name and that makes me happy to be there. We plan to be loyal customers for years to come. I feel happy and confident that I have a safe place for my puppy. They did have a management update and I have been happy with things.

Brought my two dogs here for training because the new "adoptee" wasn't getting along with first dog, and there was a sizable size difference between them. Returning new dog to shelter wasn't an option for me personally, so training was last resort. While the communication was a bit sketch at first, the end results are exactly what my dogs needed. They are now living harmoniously, eating together, walking together and even occasionally playing together, but definitely not being aggressive toward each other. I liked the fact that they were honest about not guaranteeing they'd learn to get along (because they're dogs and you never can tell). I enjoyed watching the videos they sent of them training each week. And, I like that the trainer checked in after they came home to see how they are getting along.

Toby loves coming to On The Ball for daycare. He’s been a regular since he was a puppy, so he’s made many friends! We feel lucky to have a quality doggie daycare in our neighborhood…especially love to see Mary, Brianne and all the guys who love on Toby each time we drop him off!

My furry ones Baxter and Cyrus love going to On The Ball when I go on vacation. I always know that they are safe and having so much fun playing with their furry friends. I love being able to check in with them on the webcams from time to time to see them playing.

We love love OTB! We've been bringing our dog (Toni) here for a little over 2 years since she was a young pup. We had a pretty bad experience at another local shop and so thankful we found On the Ball. The staff is great and so attentive! Toni is a frequent at doggie daycare, she loves it so much. They also have fun add-ons during daycare - sometimes even a cute photoshoot! We fully recommended anyone needing boarding, grooming, or daycare to OTB.

I have been on the search for a good groomer for my sheepadoodle puppy and after 4 attempts at different locations I think we finally found the place!!! Alana was our groomer and she did such a wonderful job and they were very timely which is nice when you have a “nervous nelly” puppy. We are so excited to have found a place we can rely on.

On the ball is a great place to take your dog for grooming. Russell comes home looking and smelling fresh. They accommodate our specific requests on his haircut as well. We will always chose on the ball for our grooming needs

We love On the Ball and so does Munson! It’s so nice having somewhere to go where they know my dog and take great care of him. I love when they have special days like lick mat, dance party or 1 on 1 time. I love that I can watch him on the cameras and they are always so nice and understanding when I call to check on him 😬 which is probably very annoying but hey, we love our pups! Thank you all!

We have been taking our dog Rick to On the Ball since August of 2019 and we cannot say enough good things about this doggy daycare and boarding! Meagan and her team go above and beyond to make sure Rick is loved, cared for and dog-tired by the time we pick him up. Rick has learned the word 'daycare' and gets very excited when asked if he wants to go. He really enjoys spending time with his dog friends and human friends at On the Ball each week. One of my top favorite features is the live webcams - it allows me to check in on him at any time. We have also boarded him with On the Ball on several occasions and they do their absolute best to make sure he eats (he doesn't like to while we are away) and gets all the love, attention, and treats while he stays with them! We highly recommend On the Ball for all doggy daycare or boarding needs!

LOVE OTB! I'm about as picky as you can be when choosing a location to have my dogs boarded. I love that they require updated vaccines from all boarded pets. The staff is so good with animals that need a little special attention. My dog has a very sensitive stomach and they prepare his food just like I do. It's clean and there's lots of room for play. I also love that there are video cameras that you can watch to see how your dog is doing. I'm really happy with this place and more importantly so is my dog!

Our mini golden doodle, Cheerio, loves going to On the Ball in Prairie Village. He gets super excited when we pull up to the shop. We’ve boarded him, taken him for play days, and had him groomed. We have been extremely pleased with all of the services. The groomer is especially good with hairy golden doodle ears! My kids love to check in on Cheerio via the web cameras. We watch him having a blast with the other dogs & getting lots of love from Meagan & her staff. We’re happy to be supporting a great local business!
