Inco and Martha were amazing pet sitters for our young cat! They asked all the right questions at our video call prior to the sit and were very well prepared and experienced. They kept us updated during the sit and took great care of our cat and our home. They figured out our cat loves chasing a laser pointer, which tells us they were very aware of the wants and needs of our cat. Would definitely welcome them back for a future sit!

Aniek & Mark are the perfect sitters. They look after our house and Marvin so well I wish I could book them for every time we go away. Understandably they get booked up with other stays as they really are brilliant. In terms of the house it is so well looked after. It’s probably cleaner when we get home than it was before we left. In terms of their pet care they are amazing. We have a stricht routine and commands for Marvin and they stick to them perfectly. They spend more time going for long walks with him than we have the opportunity to do sometimes. Also at home he gets so much care and attention. I am sure he thinks it’s a holiday for himself too when we get ready to leave and Aniek and Mark arrive. We have only had them sit for us one time before, last May, but Marvin recognised them instantly and was so excited to see them this time when they returned. They are also so good at staying in touch and sending us cute videos of their time in our home and with Marvin. They are both so relaxed, easy to talk to and flexible. Their attention to detail is remarkable as they also remembered my daughter’s birthday. I really hope I get to see them both again soon.

Caron and Arie have been excellent housesitters, taking great care of 'princess' Mila and the house over Christmas. Mila obviously enjoyed their company and was very content with the care and attention she received, to the extent that she was still talking to us when we got home. Birgit did a wonderful job taking care of our small zoo, the two cats and one guest hedgehog. We were very pleased how we found the place when we came back, also our two cats were in great mood and shape. The communication was great and we are very thankful and happy that Birgit stayed with our beloved cats for the two weeks when we were away. Melanka and Hora were great sitters and are welcome in our home again any time. They looked after our dog, cat and home as if they were their own. They kept in touch with us, took in home deliveries that arrived while we were away and Hora even did some repair jobs around the house which were much appreciated. We met with Melanka and Hora the night before we left on holiday and they are very nice people who I would recommend to anybody for looking after your home and pets.

Alex stayed with my cat and a dog for a weekend. From the very beginning it was a smooth and clear communication between us. She is a very friendly and understanding person. Alex took a great care of my dog who has trust issues and it was very clear to me that she has experience handling pets with different personalities. She regularly sent me updates and photos of my furries proving that they're in the proper hands. I have never worried for them, it's a natural trust that Alex oozes. Toby and Chloe were amazing pet sitters. It wasn’t the easiest sit - a nervous dog and 3 cats with various ailments and medication to have, but they took it all in their stride and cared for them so well without any issues. Our nervous dog Zelda warmed to them in just 2 days which is a record for house sitters so far! I also really enjoyed getting to know them over dinner the night before I left, they’re very easygoing and positive people. They also left the house spotless for when I came back. I would love to have them sit for us again. You can rest assured your house and animals are in safe hands with this lovely pair!

I'm delighted to have found Lisa as a sitter and hope to have her back again! She was detail oriented and clearly cared about my cats' well being. She asked good questions about the cats' routines and needs and about the house to be sure she'd meet my expectations and have a comfortable and successful sit. We literally cannot say enough positive things about Susan and Miranda! They are the best! From start to finish, they did an amazing job communicating with us, giving our 3 (somewhat needy) cats extremely high quality care and tons of attention, and keeping our house clean and plants watered. They took adorable pictures of the cats and sent them to us several times a day, played with them and gave them so much love and affection, and when we got home the house was even cleaner than when we left. We even asked them for some tips on how they were caring for the cats because our cats seemed happier and more relaxed than ever when we returned home to them! This was by far our best cat/house sitter experience to date. We hope Susan and Miranda are available again in the future to sit for us and would invite them back without hesitation.

Catherine was wonderful! She took care of my cat and house while I was out of town and left and Jack the Cat very and calm and the house in perfect shape which I so appreciate. I could return home and attend to other things rather than cleaning house. I would recommend her as a sitter to anyone. Wow, what a find Justin is! I feel as though I won a lottery. As I was revelling in the communication we were having during his stay, I looked over his profile and realized either that he had updated it during his stay OR I never even read it. I was so impressed with his initial application that described multiple stays taking care of cats in Turkey that I knew he was going to be a great choice. So I'm not sure that I even read his profile or reviews. Turned out...he was more than I could have EVER hoped for. Justin is VERY organized and clear with his communication. Just as--or maybe more--important, he is a poster child for what zeewoi can be: more than just an economical way to get a pet sitter or a place to stay. Justin embraces the barter economy and the opportunity it presents to get to know people. Although we only met the day that I turned the house and my 2 cats over to his care, we had delightful communication throughout his stay. He wanted to be sure he was providing the right care to all living and non-living elements of my home as well as just chat beyond what we'd had an opportunity to cover when we were face to face on the handoff day. Bottom line: I'd have Justin back even if I wasn't going anywhere! I've met a friend. And my neighbors did as well! Oh yes, and my two cats were well looked after, the house was in ship shape, and Justin was able to brief the next sitter in person (I'd had to extend my time away and Justin already had another commitment). To say I felt confident leaving my pets and home in Justin's care is an understatement. Justin is a real adventurer and believer in the power of both human and animal connection. Without a doubt, I would recommend him as a sitter...and a friend! Thank you, Justin for a great example of how to wrestle so much more meaning out of zeewoi.

Anna was a wonderful sitter for our furry friends. My dog, Luke, bonded with her and was sad when she left. My cats would crawl under the covers and curl up with her at night. Amazing sitters - I feel so fortunate to have had them stay. Chapeau was treated to daily walks and belly rubs, and my cat Tica was overflowing with contentment from having been taken care of so well. The house was cleaner than I left it and I was treated to a nice note and a lovely candle upon my return. Also, they left a checklist of item that they had done while here. Truly above and beyond!
