Thank you, Carolyn and Mike. They did a fantastic job of looking after our two cats. (Sent us photos of one of our cats who doesn't let anyone but us touch him - being patted!) Carolyn and Mike were extremely easy to communicate with from the beginning. They looked after our home beautifully and even changed the sheets on their bed before they left. I highly recommend them, and you would be lucky to have them as your house sitters.

Where to start...? These two are not only the perfect pet- and housesitters, they are in addition wonderful interesting positive open-minded people. From the beginning the communication was great, we had a nice first video-talk and they arrived on time at our house where they were immediately seized by Ida and Moody to throw their ball. They loved them from the first moment. And from the first moment we felt a good vibe. As experienced housesitters they did not need a lot of explanations and we trusted them they will find the pots and the forks in the kitchen without big explanations ;)) When we left to leave them for one week in our house with our lovely soulmates Ida and Moody we had a good feeling that did not disappoint. They sent us pictures of the walks they did every day, pictures of their cuddlings, kept us informed while we were very busy on our business trip. All of this was very reassuring! The evening we came back home Corban had cooked a delicious new-zealand stew and we had a lovely talk surrounded by the dogs that felt so obviously comfortable with them! The house was clean and the plants did look great and we could immediately see that everything was treated with the utmost respect! So if you have the chance to invite Taylor and Corban as your housesitters...grab them!

I’m sorry to see that we have a look leaving a review for Claire and Lackland. They were great housesitters and obviously took good care of our dogs but a little bit more attention to how was the cleaning would have been appreciated. No big deal though. Friendly, independent, and kind describe them well. They even brought us a present from New Zealand: a beautiful cushion cover that we now use in our living room. Thank you! Dee came round to my home well before the sit, so we could all meet prior. When she came round for the sit, the dogs were really pleased to see her which was a great sign. 6 stars out of 5!!! 🌟 John and Jan are the perfect housesitters. I was nervous leaving our dog with strangers as it's been a long time since we had been away and he is a sensitive pooch but John and Jan were receptive and empathetic from start to finish. They looked after the house and gardens as if it were their own and we returned to healthy animals, an immaculate home and garden and a fresh healthy and nutritious meal for us when we returned. Which, after a 32 hour journey from Europe was more than appreciated. Honestly cannot recommend John and Jan highly enough. Massive thank you to them both 🥰

Kendra was a great cat sitter to Genepi and she truly is a cat whisperer. Genepi usually takes 4 days to make friends with a new person but she came out and made friends with Kendra Day 1! Kendra regularly sent wonderful videos and pics of Genepi purring happily. The apartment was neat when we returned and our garden was blossoming. Would absolutely ask Kendra to sit again and highly recommend her. Thanks Kendra!!

Cung was a wonderful cat sitter and housesitter and we would happily invite him back again. He was excellent with our cats and sent plenty of photos, and also left the house impeccably clean. We had to come back a day early and so we got to spend some time with him which we enjoyed as well. 10 out of 10 recommend!

We are thoroughly pleased with and impressed by Daniel's kind, generous, and careful care of our cat and our house. He is a committed and experienced sitter who completely understands his role and responsibilities and also how to gently win the confidence and affection of a pet. He is an excellent communicator, and he kept us regularly up to date on our cat's well being--sending us texts and photos at least once/week as we requested. Our cat who is a little afraid of new people, grew fond of him, and we have returned to a very calm, contented cat. We highly recommend Daniel, and we ourselves would be thrilled to engage him again when the need arises.

Susan and Miranda are amazing! I've had the pleasure of working with many sitters and they are truly exceptional. They were great at keeping in touch, sent lots of updates, asked good questions, really bonded with the cats, clearly very experienced working with animals and understanding their needs, and generally lovely to deal with. They were really patient putting up with a whole bunch of deliveries and even assembled a spare bed! They also left the place spotless with clean sheets on the bed. I'm pretty sure the cats loved Susan and Miranda more than us by the end of their stay! I'd highly recommend them to anyone and would love to have them stay again any time.

We were so pleased to meet John and Trisha! We had them come in a day before we left and enjoyed a nice meal with them and they got to meet Delilah (even if she didn’t seem interested) but she soon warmed up to them - except for the Cat Videos - she wasn’t very interested 🤣 When we returned our home was so clean (probably cleaner than we left it)! We got frequent pics and updates on our Princess! They also left us with a Progress Report with Delilah’s activities and what they did at the house before they left. Amber is as good a sitter as you will find anywhere! She treated our cats with such love and care, as if they were her own. She left our house in perfect tiptop tidy shape, and made sure to wash all the towels and linens before she left. She even cleaned out our coffee maker and took up our weekly trash without us even mentioning it! Amber is super kind and personable and we welcome her back to sit for us anytime! If you are looking for a sitter, you should definitely accept her application!

Wow, what a find Justin is! I feel as though I won a lottery. As I was revelling in the communication we were having during his stay, I looked over his profile and realized either that he had updated it during his stay OR I never even read it. I was so impressed with his initial application that described multiple stays taking care of cats in Turkey that I knew he was going to be a great choice. So I'm not sure that I even read his profile or reviews. Turned out...he was more than I could have EVER hoped for. Justin is VERY organized and clear with his communication. Just as--or maybe more--important, he is a poster child for what zeewoi can be: more than just an economical way to get a pet sitter or a place to stay. Justin embraces the barter economy and the opportunity it presents to get to know people. Although we only met the day that I turned the house and my 2 cats over to his care, we had delightful communication throughout his stay. He wanted to be sure he was providing the right care to all living and non-living elements of my home as well as just chat beyond what we'd had an opportunity to cover when we were face to face on the handoff day. Bottom line: I'd have Justin back even if I wasn't going anywhere! I've met a friend. And my neighbors did as well! Oh yes, and my two cats were well looked after, the house was in ship shape, and Justin was able to brief the next sitter in person (I'd had to extend my time away and Justin already had another commitment). To say I felt confident leaving my pets and home in Justin's care is an understatement. Justin is a real adventurer and believer in the power of both human and animal connection. Without a doubt, I would recommend him as a sitter...and a friend! Thank you, Justin for a great example of how to wrestle so much more meaning out of zeewoi.

Lindsey watched our cat and dog for a long weekend when we went out of town. She was a very communicative sitter sending frequent pictures and voice notes with updates. She did a great job of following their schedules and giving them attention. The animals seemed to be happy and relaxed when we returned home and I believe Lindsey enjoyed getting to discover all of the eateries our town has to offer. A win-win for everyone!

Cat and Paul were wonderful sitters - our cats were contented and calm when we returned. And the house was spotless. Plus Paul mowed our entire yard including the back meadow - what a surprise! We very much enjoyed visiting with them as well and getting to know them. Highly recommend :)

Super nice sitters and extremely flexible. Really enjoyed their company and I only regret that I was too frazzled to chat with them more and get to know them! Kept the house super clean, pets loved them. Dog especially. Had a little problem with my new kitten not meshing well with the older cats (which was not too surprising since cats can be territorial). Pennee was very patient and gave me constant updates and tips. And the older cat was much more calm when I came home. Highly recommend and welcome back anytime!
