Traveling professional with a love for new experiences!
Sharon was just a wonderful sitter. She has an engaging, positive personality and is full of energy. We were happy with the updates and photos of 2 content Goldens, whether on a trail or chilling by her feet. It is so wonderful to go away knowing your fur babies are loved and cared for in their own home. Will need to come up with a trip so we can invite this special lady back.

Adventurers with a love for simple joys!
I was wonderful to work with Trinity leading up to and during the sit. Macy, my dog, looked so happy in the updates Trinity shared during my trip. And she kept the house clean and the plants alive and healthy. Would recommend her to anyone.

Solo sitter with the need to please loving animals while their owners are away.
This was the 2nd time Brandi housesat for us. She did an amazing job again and when I got home, I couldn't even tell that she has even stayed in our guest room because she is so neat! She kept me posted about all of our pets and sent photos. I would definitely trust Brandi to take care of our pets and home again!

I’m either fighting crime or with animals in my downtime <3
We loved having Duha sit for us. Communication was excellent and she needed little guidance after the initial walk-through. Both cats took to her immediately and really missed her when we returned. Duha even navigated some contract work outside the house when workers that we had been waiting on showed up unexpectedly. All in all, we had a great experience and would love to have Duha back any time.

Dependable animal lover excited to care for your fur babies and your home.
Terry was great to work with and great at communicating every step of the way. He has the experience to know what questions to ask, and went the extra mile to work with our travel schedule when we were dialing in dates and times. I could tell he was a pro at making our two dogs feel comfortable and well taken-care of. We returned to find two happy dogs and our place just the way we left it - only maybe even a bit cleaner!

A responsible traveler with a great personality who will care for your companion
This was our first time using Zeewoi and Chris was really really great! He was communicative leading up to, during, and after our trip. Leo seemed very well cared for when we returned home, and the house was spotless. We hope Leo gets to hang out with Chris again sometime soon!

Pets + travel + working remotely = amazing memories!
Alex and Lydia were great sitters! They sent pics of our girl Willow having a great time and left our house very tidy, and even did their own laundry. Super easy to communicate with and very understanding when we had a change in plans on our end. We’d love to have them back!

Kind, Respectful, and Communicative Sitter
We've used Charlotte multiple times now. She is great with our animals and gives them lots of love. Our house is always clean when we get back. We are thankful to have found her.

Caring, positive and honest Dutch lady. When I commit, it is for a 100%.
We cannot say enough good things about Annemarie and her care of our dog and home. She knows Roo from a prior sit, so within minutes they were best friends again. She kept in touch with us regularly and sent photos of Roo which we loved. He is very stubborn about not eating when we are gone, so she tried different things with our suggestions and permission. Annemarie took excellent care of our home and plants, both inside and out. She even had muffins for our breakfast the morning after we got home! Annemarie is great about handling whatever comes her way. She has emergency numbers, of course, but she has never had to use them thankfully. We will happily have her care for Roo whenever we go away. We know he is in excellent hands.

What a great experience we had with Lisa. She was so good with Cella. She was very tolerant of Cella's early rising. She's a tiny little thing, but has a big personality and knows what she wants. Lisa was so good at reading her needs. We were able to have a zoom interview with Lisa before we confirmed the sit. She stayed in touch with us daily and kept us updated on how things were going. When we arrived home, Lisa had washed all of the bedding and towels. She vacuumed and thoroughly cleaned the kitchen and bathroom. We couldn't be more pleased with Lisa as our sitter for Cella. We hope we'll be able to have her again. She was awesome.
We were very lucky to have had Nia for our recent house sit. She communicated well before the sit and arrived as planned. We shared a meal before we left which gave us time to get to know her and tell her about the house and our pets. After we left it soon became clear the cats loved Nia and the attention she gave them. We were kept informed throughout her stay with regular updates and video clips of what they were up to and how the garden was growing etc. We highly recommend Nia as a pet/house sitter and we would certainly have her back should the opportunity arise. Thanks again Nia
Our review is written by Steven (house owner, host + my father) + also by Kim (the daughter). Written by Kim: This was our first house sit since the passing of my mother in late Dec 2023. I was helping my father Steven (whose profile it is) manage all the emails + try + find a great house sitter + came along Gretchen’s profile! Not only is she a cool cat + someone you might want to get to know, I found myself quickly talking to her. I shortly found out her profile is just a glimpse of how interesting she is but talking to her was so much better! She is a world traveler with many experiences + stories to share. We quickly became conversationalists who could talk forever + probably will continue to do so! Thank you TH! She is easy to communicate with + continued the consistent communication all along our journey of having her as our *first* guest after my mom’s passing. It was clearly a time filled with anxiety + sensitivity so there were some sensitive topics to go over + Gretchen got it right away. A few of our rooms in the house were off-limits (as they housed my mom’s things) but we reassured her the house has ample space for her to enjoy + there are many lovely outdoor spaces to boot! When she arrived she felt she was in paradise + really relished in the outdoor beauty + the indoor coziness. We were happy to share it with someone who appreciated it so much! She also was very understanding with the fact that both my dad + I would both be involved as we both handled different parts of the stay. Me, writing + setting up the Welcome Guide + would go over the situation but then upon her arrival my dad would take over + answer any questions mostly during her sit. The good part of having 2 people is she had accessibility to us both, in the case she needed it + sometimes it came up! She juggled all the communication oh so well. My mom usually handled most of the logistics so this being our first time we were nervous something would come up we might not know but it didn’t! It was new territory for us + we wanted to make sure she had everything. Gretchen handled it all with such ease, seamlessly, really respecting our wishes/desires + taking all the information into her hands + making it seem easy on her end to do so. She was easy to coordinate schedules with! There was a gap in her 1st + 2nd sit but everything went seamlessly even when my flight had a day long delay. She was able to coordinate schedules with me arriving in between, then leaving, my dad arriving different days + us extending the trip too. It all worked out! We were all a good team! She absolutely loved our older cat, Benny + he fast + furiously fell in love with her oh so easily. When I saw him, he looked oh so loved + after saying hi to me went over to ‘her’ bed + slept there waiting for her to come back. She sent many pictures, videos + even cute creations + toys she made for our Benny + it was obvious the house + our Benny were her first priority. She even asked us if she could help prune our flowers/shrubs, something my mom used to do + honestly it was an honor to hear her ask that. She was welcome to set up her art studio + play away. She was very communicative when our house cleaner, landscape gardener + house manager showered up for different reasons. When I arrived back for a short stint before she came back the 2nd time our mail was so well organized it was an assembly line! She also offered to take down our xmas tree (as we were a bit behind in taking down our xmas decorations) + she was sensitive to the fact that we were adjusting to a new normal. Thank you so much Gretchen! You made our first sit in a long time so seamless + such a relief that we are ready now to host again. We only wish we could have more Gretchen’s! (She’s also a super talented artist!) Written by Steven: Overall, Gretchen has been an absolute treasure. She has fulfilled our goals for a house sitter perfectly - she took good care of the house, great care of our treasured pet, Mr. Benny + took care of the grounds such as watering a few plants + trees. She excelled in all the above + is welcome back anytime I will be out of town in the future.
Chris and Julia were our very first sitters and are the most perfect house/pet sitters anyone would ever want!!! Julia sent video/pictures of our fur babies everyday and we noticed early on that our animals were very relaxed and happy!! This made our trip so enjoyable and stress free knowing that our animals were safe and being spoiled and loved the whole time. They even trained our dog to sit while her leash was being attached and was able to pet and hold our cat that is somewhat nervous around strange people he doesn't know. When I got back from the trip, the house was very clean along with Julia/Chris had washed the bed sheets, bath towels, vacuumed, dusted etc., and even washed the pet bedding. They also left some SE Asia treats for us to try which so sweet of them. Definitely the perfect house sitters!!!
Nia is a wonderful sitter - punctual, considerate, caring, and tidy, and also a lovely person, who I enjoyed spending time with before and after the sit. While I was away Nia sent photos and videos of my cats Tommy and Arthur every day, with witty updates and observations on their personalities and behaviours, and it was obvious that they adored her. Arthur has a mild neurological problem, so it was particularly reassuring to know that Nia feels especially connected to animals with specific physical or emotional needs, and knowing this contributed hugely to my peace of mind while I was away. I have no hesitation in recommending Nia as a sitter.
Stefany helped me out big time by stepping in when I asked. She's a local sitter and I wasnt' having any responses so I contacted her and she fit me into her schedule even during the holidays and right after another sit across the country. She took great care of my two cats and home and I very much appreciate it!
Brian is a very professional sitter that does a good job, pays attention to details and is easy to work with. I have a lot of plants. A lot. He suggested me do a video for the plant care so he could be sure of which ones needed what. Brilliant! I’d never thought of that. They were in great shape when I returned. I explained that I needed some flexibility with travel dates, he agreed and rolled with the punches like a champ when my dates did indeed change. Unfortunately, he was a bit allergic to my cat but made it work anyway. He was really awesome about everything including a tree that fell next door in a storm and blocked the road for three days. I appreciate that he appreciated how funny and how much personality Boo has. They got along well and I received some great videos. I returned home to a happy cat and a house well taken care of 😊. I would definitely recommend Brian.
Wow, what a find Justin is! I feel as though I won a lottery. As I was revelling in the communication we were having during his stay, I looked over his profile and realized either that he had updated it during his stay OR I never even read it. I was so impressed with his initial application that described multiple stays taking care of cats in Turkey that I knew he was going to be a great choice. So I'm not sure that I even read his profile or reviews. Turned out...he was more than I could have EVER hoped for. Justin is VERY organized and clear with his communication. Just as--or maybe more--important, he is a poster child for what zeewoi can be: more than just an economical way to get a pet sitter or a place to stay. Justin embraces the barter economy and the opportunity it presents to get to know people. Although we only met the day that I turned the house and my 2 cats over to his care, we had delightful communication throughout his stay. He wanted to be sure he was providing the right care to all living and non-living elements of my home as well as just chat beyond what we'd had an opportunity to cover when we were face to face on the handoff day. Bottom line: I'd have Justin back even if I wasn't going anywhere! I've met a friend. And my neighbors did as well! Oh yes, and my two cats were well looked after, the house was in ship shape, and Justin was able to brief the next sitter in person (I'd had to extend my time away and Justin already had another commitment). To say I felt confident leaving my pets and home in Justin's care is an understatement. Justin is a real adventurer and believer in the power of both human and animal connection. Without a doubt, I would recommend him as a sitter...and a friend! Thank you, Justin for a great example of how to wrestle so much more meaning out of zeewoi.
Kathryn was such nice and kind sitter that both of my boyfriend and me were grateful to have, including my cats!! My cats seemed having great time with her, being around her, chilling on couch with her, or even sitting on her. I got several photos of my cats from her with whort updates. I’m thankful that she let me do facetimes with her when I missed my cats. The house was clean and tidy when we came back. I definately will ask her again to sit my cats and house when I need. Thank you Kathryn!!:)
Amazing sitters - I feel so fortunate to have had them stay. Chapeau was treated to daily walks and belly rubs, and my cat Tica was overflowing with contentment from having been taken care of so well. The house was cleaner than I left it and I was treated to a nice note and a lovely candle upon my return. Also, they left a checklist of item that they had done while here. Truly above and beyond!
Karen was an extraordinary house and pet sitter who I hope to invite back again soon. You would be extremely fortunate to have her take care of your pets and home. From the very beginning she radiated calmness, knowledge, caring and curiosity. We had a great initial conversation where Karen answered questions I didn't even know I should be asking, and asked excellent questions so she could be prepared and understand the special needs for both my cat and home. She flew into my city the day before I was leaving and stayed at a nearby hostel so that we could meet in person and do a walk through of my home. They say pets have an intuitive nature about people, and I knew Karen would be a winner when my normally very shy/nervous cat came right up and let her pet him. Karen sent wonderful pictures and updates while I was gone and asked questions when she wasn't sure about something. When I returned home everything was spotless and my cat was content. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better house sitter experience. Thank you Karen!

Our Belgian Malinois Zeus completed the 3 week board training program and came back home with obedience skills well beyond our expectations! Neighbors, friends, family and even strangers are “wow’d” by his obedience level and focus! Aside from that, he has been more pleasurable to have inside and out of the house without having him attached to a lead or leash all the time any more. We can’t thank Steve, Joellen and they’re kids enough for taking Zeus into their home and working with him through his transformation! 10/10 recommend Cross Rifle K9 training!
Cross Rifle K9 has been boarding our German Shepherd Isaiah, for over a year. Steve and Jolene are amazing with Isaiah. Isaiah is a strong will 2 year old German Shepherd, but as soon as he is in their presents with their kids he turns into this dog that wants to listen to their every command! Their interaction with Isaiah and the love they show him is a beautiful blessing. Isaiah is now with Cross Rifle K9 for a 3 week board and train. Isaiah has been with them for 1 day! Isaiah has learned more in 1 day; than he learned in 2 weeks with his previous trainers at a cost of 3000.00 for the 2 weeks training. If you’re looking for a trainer that will love your dog like their own, Cross Rifle K9 is your Trainer Period! They are amazing people with a loving heart for every pet they service! Thank you, Steve and Jolene for making the difference that nobody else could! You guys Rock… 😉💕
The Gowings are such a beautiful family! I’ve boarded my German Shepherd, Grigio, with them many times and I wouldn’t leave him with anyone else! Grigio also did a three week board and train with the Gowings and it was a game changer! He walks beautifully on leash now, doesn’t jump up and I can take him to the local battlefields and play fetch with him without having to worry about him running away! Every time I bring Grigio to Cross Rifle K9 for boarding, he gets so excited to see them again; I have a hard time getting him out of the car in a calm manner! The Gowings were also a huge help to me over this summer. My father was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer very suddenly. The Gowings took Grigio for me without any hesitation and cared for him while my father was so sick. They always treat Grigio like family and I’m so thankful to be able to board Grigio with them!
I highly recommend the board and train services offered by Cross Rifle k9, dog trainer and their family. My 6-month-old puppy came home well-trained and displayed impressive obedience skills right from the start. The trainer skillfully addressed my puppy's car anxiety, making car rides stress-free. Training took place in a family environment, ensuring my puppy learned to adapt in various social settings. The continuous support, guidance, and genuinely kind nature of the trainer and their family made the entire experience enjoyable. Don't hesitate to choose this outstanding team for your dog's training needs.
I am so thankful for Cross Rifle K9! I have an anxious cattle dog and they are wonderful with him! He started off nervous to stay for the day, but it didn't take long for him to love it at their kennel. The dog space is so clean! I appreciate that my pup has his own space when he stays with them, has a great yard to play in with supervised play time. Steve and Joellen are friendly and they have been so helpful and encouraging with my dog training questions. My pup LOVES them!
Cross Rifle K9 was absolutely wonderful with our two pups. One of them who is especially anxious with new places. The kennels are really clean and they have great yard space. Will definitely recommend them and will be boarding with them in the future!
Our pup, Stella, stayed here while we were on vacation. I was somewhat nervous because we had never left Stella with anyone before and she is used to having us home all the time. I shouldn't have worried. Stella had a great week. We got texts, emails, and photos to let us know she was doing well, and when we picked her up she was obviously healthy and happy. I definitely recommend Cross Rifle K9 and we will use them the next time we need boarding services.
We boarded our pitty and Doberman here on such short notice for a weekend. Cross Rifle K9 was very accommodating and took my babies in no problem. We had no problems and look forward to boarding with them again and maybe even doing a board and train soon!
I can not say enough positive things about Steve and his wife. They are absolutely incredible to work with. They treat my dog like he’s one of their own. Otis gets so excited to see them each and every time. Otis has done board and train, daycare and overnight boarding. I would not trust anyone else with my dogs. Otis gets so excited to see them when we get there he tries to climb over me to get out of the car first, he wouldn’t be this excited if they didn’t treat him so well. Cross Rifle K9 is absolutely amazing, they are professional, caring, understanding, and accommodating. I would recommend them to anyone who needed any kind of care for their dog and will continue to use them to care for mine
We had a wonderful experience with Cross Rifle K9. We boarded our two dogs with them when we went on vacation. The dogs were well taken care of and I would certainly recommend them to others. We will be booking with them again for our next vacation.
I’ve always had a great experience there. Got a sweet six-year-old female German Shepherd there today.❤️
Janis is like a second mother for our 2 year old GSD. Whenever we have to go out and Archie can't travel with us, we feel confident that Archie is safe and happy at his second home.
I trust Janis with my fur baby. She is very knowledgeable on dogs, really all animals! My girl loves coming to see her. I would highly recommend.
We’ve been using Highland Oaks for over 10 years. Nearly my entire neighborhood uses this Kennel. I cannot recommend Janice (sp?) more! Absolutely amazing.
Janis is wonderful with dogs. Her decades of experience clearly shows with the way she handles all the different types of dogs that she cares for. Highly recommended!
Janice is a friend of ours and she also takes care of our two dogs when we travel. We will continue to take our dogs there because of the care and attention they get from Janice.
I highly recommend Highland Oaks. I would never leave my precious pup with anyone else other then Janice.
Great place to board your dog. Owner is very nice and friendly.
Wonderful location for boarding! The owner takes a special interest to make sure your pet is happy.
What a lovely place for your dog to hang out while you're on vacation! Great home away from home!!
Nathan is amazing!! My dog is not other dog friendly and I’ve never entrusted someone before to walk him. Nathan though is a true professional! My dog is very comfortable with him and looks forward to his walk.
Nathan has been pet-sitting my two house cats for at least a year. He's reliable, trustworthy, and loves the pets. I can see how much they love him, too. It's in the pictures he sends! I travel a lot for work. Even with short notice, he schedules my cats in! Nathan makes his services affordable. It's wonderful to have a person with a service that cares that much!
Nathan is fantastic. We have a mini golden doodle who is our fur baby. We just have such a hard time leaving her. She has been to Nathan’s five times during the day due to work around the house. He has also watched her for a short two day and two night trip. He sent us updates and pictures. We are so thankful we found him. Highly recommend
Nathan is great. You can tell he genuinly Loves dogs. He has taken care of our Lexi several times when we travel and is so competent. Highly recommended.
Nathan was great with my Dalmatian, Niko. We did a test night before I took a 10 day trip to see family back in WI. I was pleasantly surprised how well things went that first overnight because Niko can be wary of strangers and this was the first time I'd be leaving him in the care of someone else. Those 10 days were stress free because I knew Niko was content and in good hands with Nathan. Nathan also helped me out by bringing Niko to the vet to get neutered and restraining him for the sedation!
Nathan has taken extra special care of our Golden "Honey" for over a year whenever we are out of town. Honey adores him & will often lay at the gate when she comes home just hoping Nathan will be back! Nathan is kind, reliable, trustworthy & truly loves dogs 🐾 …
Nathan does a wonderful job taking care of our dog! He's super friendly and has a passion for taking care of animals.
Angus has been going to Nathan’s for over a year now and he loves it. In the morning when I say “ready to go see Nathan” the excitement starts and doesn’t end until we are in the driveway and Nathan is getting him out of the car. We couldn’t ask for anyone more wonderful to care for our big guy
Thank you Nathan for watching our dogs. What an amazing job we could not have asked for a better dog sitter. Our babies can't wait to come back to see you!
Nathan is the best at caring for your 4 legged family members!!!! I trust him with our dogs and wouldn't use anyone else!!!
