If zeewoi had a 10-star rating for exceptional sitters, Stephanie would get one for sure! When we invited Stephanie to sit for us again (first time was when we lived in Germany, in DEC 2021 - JAN 2022), we jumped for joy when she said she was able to come! We already felt as if she was part of our family...and so did all of our cats, it turned out - including the ''orphaned'' ones who are regulars in our yard (during Stephanie's first sit, we only had Tiggy - who, of course, fell in love with her!). Even those cats we considered to be stand-offish or shy became trusting cuddle bugs after spending time with Stephanie!!! We think she is a true ''cat whisperer!'' She sent regular caring updates with photos of all the happy cats, playing with her or with the toys she brought them from Germany! Not to mention that Stephanie took perfect care of our home again, as well as the plants and the entire yard while we were away. We were also delighted to learn that Stephanie enjoyed staying at our home and further exploring Istria, so we cannot wait to have her sit for us again!

Franziska and Henning have been amazing sitters for our two cats. They have been flexible and open to meet in person before the sit so we were able to get to know each other, and familiarise with my place and the cats. That was very helpful and created trust and it was really nice to meet them. They bonded quickly with the cats and enjoyed their company. Everything was taken care of very well, both for the cats and the house and plants. We stayed in touch and I got periodic updates which reassured me and made me enjoy my holidays without concerns. Overall, it has been a great sitting experience with Franziska and Henning and it was lovely to get to know them. I highly recommend them and would any time have them back in our home.

Right from the first time we met Tanja, we had a great feeling about her. She was super interested, super organized and quick to communicate. She asked all the important questions straight away and was super attentive. We were able to enjoy our vacation from start to finish and Tanja always kept us up to date with pictures. Tanja not only took very good care of Leo and Luca, but also kept the house clean and made our return even easier. Tanja really is a warm person with a big heart for animals. Kendra was a great cat sitter to Genepi and she truly is a cat whisperer. Genepi usually takes 4 days to make friends with a new person but she came out and made friends with Kendra Day 1! Kendra regularly sent wonderful videos and pics of Genepi purring happily. The apartment was neat when we returned and our garden was blossoming. Would absolutely ask Kendra to sit again and highly recommend her. Thanks Kendra!!

Toby and Chloe were amazing pet sitters. It wasn’t the easiest sit - a nervous dog and 3 cats with various ailments and medication to have, but they took it all in their stride and cared for them so well without any issues. Our nervous dog Zelda warmed to them in just 2 days which is a record for house sitters so far! I also really enjoyed getting to know them over dinner the night before I left, they’re very easygoing and positive people. They also left the house spotless for when I came back. I would love to have them sit for us again. You can rest assured your house and animals are in safe hands with this lovely pair!

Ally was great! We got to meet for a few minutes before I headed out and I felt super reassured that both Goose and my home were in good hands. My cat is picky when it comes to strangers, but he was comfy in Ally’s lap right away the first night! She communicated well and sent cute pictures while I was away. My home was clean and Goose was happy when o got back. I highly recommend Ally as a sitter and she’s welcomed back anytime!

Sharon and Milton are two of the nicest people I've met in my life. This is my first time having a sitter fly in from out of state and it was so simple, stress-free, and didn't affect any part of me getting ready for my trip, leaving for my trip or returning from my trip. Sharon was very communicative before, during and after I returned. It just couldn't have been more wonderful! If you're considering applicants stop looking and choose Sharon and Milton. They are just delightfully wonderful wonderful people!! They go above and beyond just housesitting and pet sitting! Tidy, clean, respectful down to earth and the most kind and loving people. Brian is a very professional sitter that does a good job, pays attention to details and is easy to work with. I have a lot of plants. A lot. He suggested me do a video for the plant care so he could be sure of which ones needed what. Brilliant! I’d never thought of that. They were in great shape when I returned. I explained that I needed some flexibility with travel dates, he agreed and rolled with the punches like a champ when my dates did indeed change. Unfortunately, he was a bit allergic to my cat but made it work anyway. He was really awesome about everything including a tree that fell next door in a storm and blocked the road for three days. I appreciate that he appreciated how funny and how much personality Boo has. They got along well and I received some great videos. I returned home to a happy cat and a house well taken care of 😊. Lindsey was super communicative, friendly, responsible, and an excellent sitter for our two cats. When we returned, our home was clean and our cats relaxed and happy as if we had never left ! She sent us photos and updates every day, as requested, and when a random mishap occurred in the apartment, she let us know right away and was proactive in handling issue. My husband and I reached out to Toby & Chloe after reading their profile and impressive reviews only a week before our trip, since our scheduled sitter had to cancel at the last moment. They were very friendly and quick to respond to chat from the very beginning, and ended up exceeding our expectations during their two week stay. It was evident they had thoroughly read our Welcome Guide beforehand, as they arrived knowledgeable and prepared to care for our home and pets. They were very willing and happy to take the necessary time with us to walk through the house and meet our cats, as we got them acclimated with our daily routines and answered any questions. Shortly after we left, our city had a heat wave come through, and after immediately notifying us, Toby went beyond the call of duty and inspected our struggling AC unit to pinpoint the issue. As far as cat care is concerned, we have two seniors (who have more sensitive tummies) that can get irritated after a fur ball or swallowing anything out of the ordinary. When this occurred, Toby & Chloe stepped in and took wonderful care of our cat duo; softening their food and even cradling while hand-feeding them for extra comfort. We truly could not have asked for more affectionate and responsible sitters. We returned to a spotlessly clean home, happy cats, and well maintained plants and pool. (They even cleaned our dusty Kitchen pendant lighting, which requires a steady hand and is definitely a time-commitment …We felt like professional housecleaners had been there!) On our way back, Toby & Chloe stayed in communication with us to monitor our arrival time, allowing them to care for our cats until just before we got home. Overall, they are very reliable and trustworthy sitters whose genuine goal is to provide a top-quality sit, while maintaining your household and seamlessly transitioning to your pets daily schedule.
