Camilla and Paolo were wonderful house sitters. It was Camilla's second visit. They arrived on time and looked after our animals and house brilliantly whilst we were away for 2.5 weeks. They are very kind and caring people. Our dog was treated to long walks everyday, the chickens were cleaned out, fed and watered and our cat was spoilt with lots of cuddles. They also helped us enormously by cutting the grass and cleaning the windows!! They used common sense during a short power cut in the house and were polite and friendly with all our neighbours. We would not hesitate to recommend them as pet parents. Thank you both!

We were pleased to leave our three dogs, including a 5 month old pup who is recovering from surgery, in Jeh and Valentina’s capable care. Not only were the dogs very well looked after, they also looked after our house and left it clean and tidy - all in good order. I hope they will come back!

Pares is an experienced and quality sitter and we knew our cat Juniper (and a few plants) was well cared for. We received regular updates and photos which was really nice to have during our travels. While we missed Juniper, we could see that she enjoyed receiving cuddles and attention from Pares. Upon returning home, our flat was clean and tidy, and Juniper was very happy! Brian is a very professional sitter that does a good job, pays attention to details and is easy to work with. I have a lot of plants. A lot. He suggested me do a video for the plant care so he could be sure of which ones needed what. Brilliant! I’d never thought of that. They were in great shape when I returned. I explained that I needed some flexibility with travel dates, he agreed and rolled with the punches like a champ when my dates did indeed change. Unfortunately, he was a bit allergic to my cat but made it work anyway. He was really awesome about everything including a tree that fell next door in a storm and blocked the road for three days. I appreciate that he appreciated how funny and how much personality Boo has. They got along well and I received some great videos. I returned home to a happy cat and a house well taken care of 😊. I would definitely recommend Brian.

Someone was smiling down on us when Kevin and Mary clicked on our very first House Sitter advert. They are straightforward, pleasant, reliable and fun. They kept in touch about their own plans when their flights were delayed. They tactfully left the house when our own cancelled flights meant we were staying a few hours longer than first planned. They sent just the right amount of photos, videos and texts of our cat while we were away! We all loved that. And on our return, oh my word, the house fairies had been to visit! They somehow managed to walk the perfect line between improving everything, without interfering at all. Clean, tidy, replenished. They asked what food we’d like on our return and boy did they deliver! Home made bean stew :-) and different things for the children. Really kind and generous. Communication was clear and also witty..! They dealt with the churn of small mammals our “somewhat independent” cat brought through the flap without complaint. They are a really nice couple, exuding a lovely American warmth and charm. It was a real pleasure, Kevin and Mary, thank you.

Wow! Just wow! We cannot say enough about the care and compassion Trisha and John provided to our cats and our home. We are always somewhat nervous about a new pet sitter in our home, but that all faded when we met this wonderful couple. They provided daily updates as requested, complete with pictures, videos and personalized captions. Upon our return, we were greeted by happy and content kitties. There was no sign of anxiety in Tika! Yea!!! Our home was clean, the sheets and towels were washed and bed remade! They even left behind thank you notes and little gifts! What a breath of fresh air these two individuals are! We hope to have them back again soon.

Ruoyi was the perfect sitter for our cat Toni! We would highly recommend her to any pet owner, and hope she can sit for us again in the future. Ruoyi was very thorough - she made sure there was full alignment on all the specifics of her pet duties, and she asked thoughtful questions regarding details we forgot to include in our guide. She always provided us timely updates at the agreed cadence, and gave us a ton of photos. From the photos, it's clear she got in a lot of play time with Toni, which we really appreciated! :) We were able to enjoy our entire vacation stress-free knowing Toni was in such good hands. Ruoyi left our apartment completely clean and offered to wash linens.

Caroline is an amazing sitter ! We were far away, had never left our cat for such a long period of time and we felt really confident with her. She took great care of our cat Honey as well as she did for the house, pool and garden. She was even able to handle the end of the refection of the bathroom which was a last minute surprise… We felt Caroline was reliable and self sufficient. We had a great communication with her during our stay abroad. We even found many nice intentions when we came back from our vacations such as fresh fruits and bakeries for a nice and welcomed breakfast after a night in a plane ! Pennee and Bill were the BEST pet sitters and guests ever! I really wanted them to stay forever ! Our cat, Miss Kitty bonded so much to them, that she really wasn’t that happy to see me when I got home .Our cat is a finicky eater and they tried all different types of food and treats for her. They sent me regular photos of miss kitty and I knew everything was great when most of the pics had miss kitty on their lap. Our cat doesn’t take to many people but she immediately fell in love with them. Pennee sent us our mail and prescription meds on a regular basis , and went out of her way to take care of any issues . They fell in love with the neighbors and community and just made our lives so easy . We experienced the Covid 19 virus outbreak quarantine during this time and Pennee and Bill agreed to stay a month longer at our home . They were extremely flexible with their travel plans so that everyone would be safe. Upon our arrival home, we were greeted with a bouquet of flowers , beautiful hanging basket of flowers for outdoors and a beautiful bottle of wine . And our house had never been cleaner ! Bill and Pennee are a pet owners dream couple !I felt extremely lucky to have found such a great petsitter and new friend . We will be visiting each other in the future .

Rick and Sally are marvelous cat sitters and we would gladly have them back anytime. We highly recommend them to any and all pet owners. They arrived when they said they would and were ready to go when we returned, making sure our cats were present before departing. Katie came to my home for a meet and greet prior to the dates I needed a pet sitter. My two golden retrievers took to her right away. I knew immediately she would be perfect. She stayed in my home while I was away for my son’s wedding. She would update me with text messages and photos on how all the pets were doing throughout each day. I was able to enjoy my son’s wedding and never once did I worry about my pets. When I returned home, she had left very detailed reports cards for each pet for each day she cared for them. She also left my pets gifts, along with a thank you note. She did things that I did not even expect of her, such as taking out the trash and washing the bed linens and towels she used while staying in my home. Katie is incredible! She is kind, thorough, attentive, responsive and animals love her. Plus she makes planning and paying super easy (appreciate being able to use Zelle or Venmo)! I contacted Katie with a last minute request to take care of my Mom's cat while she was in the hospital. She responded quickly and was even willing to adjust her schedule to accommodate my request. WOW! is all I can say about the incredible care and service my pup (Sophie) received this summer when Katie stayed in our house to dog-sit for a week. Sophie is an older dog who does not get along well with other dogs and cannot be crated. She's a little quirky and we needed someone who understood her. During the meet and greet, Sophie fell in love with Katie- nothing but tail wags and kisses; it was clear Katie was able to speak Sophie's language. While we were gone, Katie sent us pictures of the pup. Sophie always looked happy. When we returned home after a week, Katie had left daily report cards for Sophie's activities each day we were gone. When we arrived home, the house was immaculate and Sophie was a happy girl- but she would still go into the guest room and look for her new best friend, Katie, for a couple of days after we returned. Katie cared for Sophie and our house as if they were her own and we could not recommend her more or give her high enough praise. She went way above and beyond what we expected and we couldn't be more grateful. Be prepared for your pet to be treated like royalty when Katie comes to take care of them- HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
We are so happy that we found Katie for help with our two labs. We needed her support during the day because we ended up with a couple work days that were too long to leave them. Katie was amazing! I moved to the area a couple of years ago and struggled to find a pet sitter that I could trust to take care of my fur babies (with special needs) while I was on vacation. I am thrilled that I found Katie. She is absolutely the BEST! Not only did she keep me up to date on the day to day goings on, she kept a daily log to track all medicines she administered and wrote a daily report card for each of my pets. On top of that, she went above and beyond with little things, that together were big things. I highly recommend Katie!
BEST PET SITTER EVER!!!!!! Katie did so much for my two kitties for the week we were away; from daily photos/videos and updates, to even throwing a little 4th of July themed birthday party for the kitties!! I have quite high expectations for anyone watching my babies, and she exceeded them entirely. My dog sitter got sick as we were packing to leave for my daughters wedding in Cancun. Country K-9 had availability last minute, Apple Blossom weekend, for both my dogs. The indoor/outdoor runs with the option for no contact was perfect for our aging temperamental Boxer and the extra play time for our English Bulldog was just what he needed. The staff was friendly, understanding and very helpful. I will be recommending them to everyone!
All of our worries were never necessary. This crew was great, we have some high maintenance pets and I had no worries when I walked out the door and when we came to pick them up everybody's clean happy. Very professional operation I would recommend to anybody.

We have been coming to Country K9 for 10 years now. In fact, we drive an hour and 20 minutes one way to board our German Shepherd here. Melissa and Chelsea always treat our boy like he's their own. We are so grateful and privileged to know them and be able to count on them. Our dog isn't always easy to handle, but we always know he's in good, capable, and trustworthy hands at Country K9. Although there are several boarding facilities closer to our home, we wouldn't board him anywhere else.

We have never boarded our dogs before, but needed to find somewhere to keep them while we were on vacation. We have two Boston terriers and a Great Pyrenees puppy. Country K9 was great with them, clean, and extremely friendly. I was nervous to leave them since they’ve never been with anyone but family, but I wouldn’t hesitate to leave them with Country K9 again.
Very nice facility. My dog was very happy here. Great price transparency on their website. They are back on a gravel road, so do not bring a low clearance vehicle. Very reasonable rates, especially for the Winchester area.
