I could not have asked for a better first experience with zeewoi! Jordan and Nataki were great at communicating from the very start, and they sent me pictures and updates every day. I didn’t have to worry for a moment that my cat Anya was feeling lonely because I could tell she warmed up right away, even though she’s usually quite shy! Not only did they wash my sheets and towels they used (without my requesting it, simply out of the kindness of their hearts), they ALSO then put my fresh sheets on the bed! 🥹❤️ Such incredible sitters. 10 stars!

Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. I highly recommend Misti - I'll definitely be asking her to sit again!

Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Our house was immaculate when we returned, and we felt so fortunate to have such kind and loving people step in for us in our absence. Anyone would be super lucky to have them in their home.

Becca was fantastic - we cannot say enough about how great she is as a pet and house sitter and as a human being! Becca committed to the sit 8 months in advance and was great with her responsiveness in communication during the long lead up to the sit. She arrived early and got the low downs on the animals and house stuff prior to us leaving. She woke up crazy early to help us get to the airport and picked us up when we returned, which made the traveling so much easier on our end. She left the house spot-less (and this is no exaggeration), with the linens cleaned, and a wonderful meal waiting for us upon our return. She is an absolute gem of a person with a great sense of humor and a kind and compassionate nature, and she really enjoys the animals in her care. We can not exaggerate the care and love Juliet and Laurent gave to our cat, Piero, during his the last few weeks of life. While we left for our trip thinking he merely had a bladder infection, his symptoms turned for the worse a weeks into their sit and later revealed he had cancer. No one would wish their sitter to need to hospice their cat but Juliet and Laurent showed such compassion for Piero and volunteered to be with him when we made the decision to put him down. It was an emotional time for all of us and we will be forever grateful to our two caring cat and house sitters. We have had many fantastic housesitters through zeewoi but Juliet and Laurent top the list. Their professionalism, constant communication and compassion were exceptional. Should you have the opportunity to have them in your home, do not hesitate to book them, you will have no regrets. We do, however, regret that they had such a short time with Piero and had to experience such a painful event.

If you are looking for someone to take care of your fur babies and your house while you're away, Daniel is your guy! I had discovered zeewoi just a couple of weeks before I was to leave on vacation and I was not only apprehensive if the website was too good to be true, but also under a real time crunch. I reached out to over 100 local sitters and several possibilities fell through. I was confident I would find the right sitter and when Daniel applied for the sit and I started to text and converse with him, I knew I had found the perfect sitter for my two cats! Daniel was upbeat and positive, articulate and personable, warm and caring, and he asked all the right questions about Lilly and Eli (I hadn't had the time to complete my Welcome Guide, yet!?!). I shared that I had an easy cat and problem cat -- Lilly, who is sweet, social and eats dry food, and Eli who is skittish, was periodically pooping outside the kitty litter box and was eating prescription canned food twice a day mixed with a probiotic and stool firmer. I asked if he thought he was up for the job and he happily said he was. Since he flew all the was from Chicago, I thought the least my husband and I could do was pick him up at the airport. When he arrived, he pulled out his notebook. He patiently walked with me as I reviewed kitty care, showed him around the house, and where he would be sleeping. He immediately picked up Lilly who was excited about meeting her new friend and Eli bugged out and down the stairs to the basement (his favorite hiding place!). We got Daniel connected to the internet, set him up at our dining room table and headed off to airport, leaving our house and kitties in the best of hands. Daniel wanted to make sure I felt comfortable and assured while we were away. He made sure to text with me every other day (he had asked my preference earlier), sent photos of Lilly being her cute self while Eli hid during the day although he gave me assurances that he was eating his food and using the litter box (there were a few accidents, but Daniel never complained about these additional duties). When we returned from our vacation, the house was also spotless and well cared for and Daniel had even washed the sheets for me! It is with utter happiness and complete confidence that I recommend Daniel as a fantastic Sitter. He is trustworthy, responsible, caring, and competent, and you can rest assured that both your house and sweet pets will be watched over and treated with TLC -- and will truly be in the best of hands while you are away!

Jenima is an excellent sitter! She is organized, communicative and flexible throughout the stay. We needed a sitter at the last minute because Jazz got sick, and Jenima saved us. We left a little worried about him, but Jenima took care of him really well and kept us informed. Cats love her! We definitely recommend her to take care of your pets!

Jose was a wonderful pet/house sitter for us recently. We highly recommend him. He was wonderfully reliable and responsible and took such good care of our two pets. On short notice Jose drove down from Grass Valley to the East Bay for a bit of a quiet get-away while working a really hard job teaching online. We know how hard that is firsthand and partly why we needed our own get-away for a last-minute backpacking trip. We have a recently rescued pit bull and a rescued cat that we're still introducing to each other to make sure the dog doesn't eat the cat (as he seems to want to), and the cat doesn't blind the dog (as she would if he tried to eat her). That might be more background than is needed in a review but Jose made us feel comfortable about everything because of how conscientious and responsible he clearly is. We could tell when we talked to him that he was genuinely kind and eminently trustworthy. We are very grateful and hope Jose was happy with everything too because we know what a value his care was to us. Jose truly deserves any and all house-sitting gigs that strike his interest. Ours was not the easiest and he was amazing. Get him if you can.

Tonya was great and filled in after our other sitter had to cancel. She was very self sufficient and navigated acclimating herself to everything since she arrived after we left. Katie came to my home for a meet and greet prior to the dates I needed a pet sitter. My two golden retrievers took to her right away. I knew immediately she would be perfect. She stayed in my home while I was away for my son’s wedding. She would update me with text messages and photos on how all the pets were doing throughout each day. I was able to enjoy my son’s wedding and never once did I worry about my pets. When I returned home, she had left very detailed reports cards for each pet for each day she cared for them. She also left my pets gifts, along with a thank you note. WOW! is all I can say about the incredible care and service my pup (Sophie) received this summer when Katie stayed in our house to dog-sit for a week. Sophie is an older dog who does not get along well with other dogs and cannot be crated. She's a little quirky and we needed someone who understood her. During the meet and greet, Sophie fell in love with Katie- nothing but tail wags and kisses; it was clear Katie was able to speak Sophie's language. While we were gone, Katie sent us pictures of the pup. Sophie always looked happy. When we returned home after a week, Katie had left daily report cards for Sophie's activities each day we were gone. When we arrived home, the house was immaculate and Sophie was a happy girl- but she would still go into the guest room and look for her new best friend, Katie, for a couple of days after we returned. Katie cared for Sophie and our house as if they were her own and we could not recommend her more or give her high enough praise. I moved to the area a couple of years ago and struggled to find a pet sitter that I could trust to take care of my fur babies (with special needs) while I was on vacation. I am thrilled that I found Katie. She is absolutely the BEST! Not only did she keep me up to date on the day to day goings on, she kept a daily log to track all medicines she administered and wrote a daily report card for each of my pets. On top of that, she went above and beyond with little things, that together were big things. I highly recommend Katie!

My dog sitter got sick as we were packing to leave for my daughters wedding in Cancun. Country K-9 had availability last minute, Apple Blossom weekend, for both my dogs. The indoor/outdoor runs with the option for no contact was perfect for our aging temperamental Boxer and the extra play time for our English Bulldog was just what he needed. The staff was friendly, understanding and very helpful. I will be recommending them to everyone!
All of our worries were never necessary. This crew was great, we have some high maintenance pets and I had no worries when I walked out the door and when we came to pick them up everybody's clean happy. Very professional operation I would recommend to anybody.

We have been coming to Country K9 for 10 years now. In fact, we drive an hour and 20 minutes one way to board our German Shepherd here. Melissa and Chelsea always treat our boy like he's their own. We are so grateful and privileged to know them and be able to count on them. Our dog isn't always easy to handle, but we always know he's in good, capable, and trustworthy hands at Country K9. Although there are several boarding facilities closer to our home, we wouldn't board him anywhere else.

We have never boarded our dogs before, but needed to find somewhere to keep them while we were on vacation. We have two Boston terriers and a Great Pyrenees puppy. Country K9 was great with them, clean, and extremely friendly. I was nervous to leave them since they’ve never been with anyone but family, but I wouldn’t hesitate to leave them with Country K9 again.
Very nice facility. My dog was very happy here. Great price transparency on their website. They are back on a gravel road, so do not bring a low clearance vehicle. Very reasonable rates, especially for the Winchester area.
