On a scale of 1 to 5 (with 5 as best) we would rate Maria and Lu as 12 or better. They should be the poster people for all house/pet sitters. They dealt with a difficult situation when the Koi began to spawn and left the house better than they found it. They seemed to enjoy their stay and our dog loved them. They even did extra chores above and beyond such as cleaning the BBQ, changing light bulbs, and organizing the garage. Communication was excellent and they even left several home cooked meals for us so that we would not have to cook on our first day back. We invited them back for another stay in August and they accepted. We feel that we not only found great sitters, but great friends that we hope to see often in the future.

Responsible Retired Empty Nester with a Travel Addiction
Alisha and her daughter Kati were so amazing! They planned the sit as a mother/daughter writers retreat (I'm truly excited to read Kati's book!) They were able to come by the house before I left on my trip so I was able to give them the full tour - I really love when sitters make the time to do that. Oh! And get this! Alisha read my entire Welcome Guide before arriving which honestly blew my mind. During the tour, she asked about specific things that I mentioned in the Guide and we were able to cover her questions straight away. Alisha & Kati also showed up with all their food & supplies so they wouldn't have to leave to get them after arriving - that's so smart! Alisha says she does this so the animals are less stressed out. She really is a true professional. I ended up hanging out with them a little longer than planned because they were so awesome. When I finally did grab my bags to head out I noticed that Kati was sitting on the floor playing with my dog and cat - loved that! During the sit, Alisha gave me updates here and there - but I wasn't bombarded by them. They also were able to coordinate with us to plan the best departure time so the animals wouldn't be alone too long before Kenny and I got home. When we arrived home the animals were exceptionally calm and I swear the house was cleaner than we left it. All in all, they were the best and we would definitely have them back in heartbeat.

Ellen and Mike are the BEST house and pet sitters anyone could hope for. We knew that they would be great with all the wonderful reviews they had prior to their sit, but they far exceeded our expectations in all ways. The communications were great, even fun, as they sent cute pictures of our cats enjoying their company in different ways for their 2.5 week sit. They left us the sweetest memento that a friend of theirs had made with our cats names and faces on it. We hope they will sit for us as often as they can —they are very busy. Jane is not a recommended petsitter if you have cats or if you want the house to be treated properly when you are away. 1) When she arrived the day before our departure, she didn’t show any interest in the cats, I had to suggest her several times to interact with the kitties in order to make sure the cats were used to her smell. 2) She acted in a superior attitude when I was giving instructions about how to feed the cats or understand their routines. 3) Since the moment we posted the sit offer, we were clear about the simple tasks: feed the cats 3 times a day, play with them, brush them, keep the house safe and clean, inform twice a day about what the cats ate with photos and videos. Her level of communication was minimum by whatsapp. Example of messages “Nala has not appeared yet this morning”, “not much to report”, “everyone has eaten well”, “all well fed”, “too busy feeding, taking pictures and answering your texts” 4) When we arrived the house was dirty (her bathroom had not been cleaned at all, she had not vacuumed nor mopped the floor, the kitchen was sticky) the basic rules of the house were cleaning the floor, kitchen (to avoid ants) and I specified the products to clean bathroom/toilet before leaving. The minimum ALL petsitters had done in the past before leaving were cleaning the basic areas. 5) Two windows were unlocked, when safety issues were explained as a main concern. The biggest window with access from the street was not locked with the screw (anyone could have entered the house) and the window of the guest room was not locked with the handle 6) She never sent a message after leaving the house making sure everything was ok and telling us if the cats were ok. Conclusion: We could clearly see she doesn’t like animals, especially cats, she came just to have a free place to visit the area (which is a very touristic place, mainly this time of the year, when the accommodations are really expensive), she had a bossy attitude and was clearly annoyed by our explanations of how to take care of the cats and house, her communication was not fluid (I had to send a message asking her how were the cats almost every day in order to get feedback), she was a person that clearly did not care about the basic level of cleaning. The only thing she did was feeding the cats at least once a day. When we arrived the cats were really hungry.

Cynthia was a perfect pet sitter for our little kitty. We knew from her extensive experience with cats that Nala was in good hands. She was extremely responsive via texts when we were away, ensuring us that the 2 of them were having a great time. She went absolutely above and beyond by scrubbing our bath and toilets to remove our mineral deposit rings that we haven't been able to get rid of! She even left the name of the product she used so we can get more in the future. The house was cleaner than when we left. We'll have her back anytime!

"A relaxing and long time away from home made possible by the best pet & house sitters we could have asked for!" Judy and Steph went the extra mile over their entire one month stay at our home. Both our cats became fast friends thanks to the care and dedication provided for them. We were routinely updated with spectacular photos of our furry girls throughout our leave that helped us be anxiety-free the entire time. Even our older shy cat spent time sleeping on their laps or hanging out on shoulders. As for the house, Judy and Steph left it even cleaner than when they arrived! We had a few tasks to maintain the lawn and potted plants outside, which were completed perfectly. They even tended to our vegetable garden where needed! During a 'risk of severe hail storm' alert, Judy and Steph kept us in the loop and went even further to place potted plants under shelter out of harms way. In summary, we recommend Judy and Steph and would happily have them return again if our schedules cross paths.

From our first contact to when we arrived home after our trip, communication was excellent and we were able to enjoy our time away with complete peace of mind that our pets and our home were in good hands. Toby and Chloe were amazing pet sitters. It wasn’t the easiest sit - a nervous dog and 3 cats with various ailments and medication to have, but they took it all in their stride and cared for them so well without any issues. Our nervous dog Zelda warmed to them in just 2 days which is a record for house sitters so far! I also really enjoyed getting to know them over dinner the night before I left, they’re very easygoing and positive people. They also left the house spotless for when I came back. I would love to have them sit for us again. You can rest assured your house and animals are in safe hands with this lovely pair!

She asked good questions about the cats' routines and needs and about the house to be sure she'd meet my expectations and have a comfortable and successful sit. Chris and Julia were our very first sitters and are the most perfect house/pet sitters anyone would ever want!!! Julia sent video/pictures of our fur babies everyday and we noticed early on that our animals were very relaxed and happy!! This made our trip so enjoyable and stress free knowing that our animals were safe and being spoiled and loved the whole time. They even trained our dog to sit while her leash was being attached and was able to pet and hold our cat that is somewhat nervous around strange people he doesn't know. When I got back from the trip, the house was very clean along with Julia/Chris had washed the bed sheets, bath towels, vacuumed, dusted etc., and even washed the pet bedding. They also left some SE Asia treats for us to try which so sweet of them. Definitely the perfect house sitters!!!

Wow, what a find Justin is! I feel as though I won a lottery. As I was revelling in the communication we were having during his stay, I looked over his profile and realized either that he had updated it during his stay OR I never even read it. I was so impressed with his initial application that described multiple stays taking care of cats in Turkey that I knew he was going to be a great choice. So I'm not sure that I even read his profile or reviews. Turned out...he was more than I could have EVER hoped for. Justin is VERY organized and clear with his communication. Just as--or maybe more--important, he is a poster child for what zeewoi can be: more than just an economical way to get a pet sitter or a place to stay. Justin embraces the barter economy and the opportunity it presents to get to know people. Although we only met the day that I turned the house and my 2 cats over to his care, we had delightful communication throughout his stay. He wanted to be sure he was providing the right care to all living and non-living elements of my home as well as just chat beyond what we'd had an opportunity to cover when we were face to face on the handoff day. Bottom line: I'd have Justin back even if I wasn't going anywhere! I've met a friend. And my neighbors did as well! Oh yes, and my two cats were well looked after, the house was in ship shape, and Justin was able to brief the next sitter in person (I'd had to extend my time away and Justin already had another commitment). To say I felt confident leaving my pets and home in Justin's care is an understatement. Justin is a real adventurer and believer in the power of both human and animal connection. Without a doubt, I would recommend him as a sitter...and a friend! Thank you, Justin for a great example of how to wrestle so much more meaning out of zeewoi.

Sadie Mae loves going to be groomed at Renee's. She loves all the attention she gets and she gets to play with the other puppies. She will be boarding there the weekend of July 4th I pray she has a pleasant experience with us being away from her for the first time ever.
The BEST in the business; I trust nobody else with my dog. Renees staff is professional and courteous I am very pleased with the service I get there. Tjeyve never disappointed. This was supposed to be our 2nd time boarding and when we booked the lady NEVER mentioned being closed every other Saturday and that 8 am was our only option for drop off time. We arrived at 9:30 obviously no one was there, there wasnt a number to call or anything to even clarify what happened. We attempted to reach out to the owner on fb and had a friend attempt to send a message that was a mutual friend as well... with no response. We ended up having to drive 3 hrs with our 90lb German shepherd so that he could board near where we were lodging. We wont book with Renee's again.. reliability is important when you are planning on traveling. Anyone looking for a boarding facility I highly recommend Smoky Mtn Pet Resort in Sevierville! They are reliable and I was even allowed to call and check on my Cooper!

I have been a client since Day 1 and never disappointed! My dogs LOVE their staff! The socialization is invaluable not only for my dogs but also the fosters I work with. The reviewer who commented negatively about the gentleman on the phone, for all they know he was communicating with a client (maybe me) about their pet. I also routinely receive video footage or photos of my dogs playing. All taken from a cell phone while in the yards. Check out the pics on their FB page and you can see the joy in the dogs playing. Pets are well cared for on an individual need based on their social level. Never put in harms way and loved by staff every day. This is the best place to board your pet as well. They are in clean runs of significant size, given the option of day care services and if not in day care, still allowed to play in the yards for lengthy periods 4 times a day. No other facility offers that level of service. Thank you, Rita for always being there for my kids!
Great place to take your dogs, they are very attentive to your animals and love them. They also will post pictures so you can see how much fun your dogs are having.
Doggy day care is amazing for our energetic pup. Wonderful people who love the pups. The new ownership has continued the excellent tradition of loving care for our precious pups. Our dog is normally barking before we turn off the road into the parking lot, he loves day care and the friends and playmates he has there.
We love this place and so does our puppy! Grand paws is our first choice whenever we have to board our puppy! Anytime we take him for doggy daycare he comes home exhausted of all his playtime.
I've been going to Grand Paws for grooming for a while now. I absolutely love taking my Bailey girl there, she loves getting to play with the other dogs and extra cuddles from the staff. She always looks so adorable and clean when she leaves them. Bailey is 5 pounds full grown and they do such a great job with her. Rita and Cassie are so great! Could not recommended enough!!

We have a good reputation in this town as we have lived here our whole lives and I would never say bad things about anyone unless needed for a warning, this place is Horrible all the way around even with new owners!! I would give a zero star if possible I would ask opinions of this place and advice from people before taking ur animals here read the bad reviews not just the good ones because these people will lie straight to you and about you to get whatever they want it’s sad that they call their selves Christian but that’s our days and times I suppose!! Don’t just take my review ask people before leaving your animals here!! Absolutely horrible!!
I love bringing my husky here whenever I’m in town! Everyone here is so nice and accommodating- especially considering I call last minute. My dog comes home happy and exhausted after playing here all day, and she is quick to pull me in the door trying to go back and play every time I take her. I’m so thankful Dalton has such a great group of people to take care of my dog during the day when I’m busy so she doesn’t have to stay home alone all day!
I take my dog here twice a week while I'm at work. I have a high-energy large goldendoodle who never runs out of energy. I truly couldn't ask for a better service. Everyone is friendly and knew my dog by name after the first couple times he went. They always get me in and out fast. I've never had ANY problems and would recommend this business to ANYONE.
My dog and I are both very happy with Grand Paws. I know they take good care of my "baby" because he is always so excited and happy when we go there and he is still happy when I pick him up. Billie watched our aussiedoodle puppy every weekday for 3 weeks. We are training him and she took the time and effort to learn the commands and style we are using and work with him daily to continue the training. She gladly accommodated our schedule when required and helped us with advice since this is our first dog. We highly recommend Billie.
Billie arrived on time to walk Cookie . She was gentle and kind with Cookie. After the walk, Cookie peed in the house and Billie cleaned it up despite me telling her that I would take care of it when we got home. We were really happy with Billie and we recommend her for all your pet’s needs.

Best place to board your dog. The staff is great and they care about your pets. Our dog has a great time when he's there and have never experienced an issue or problem.
We contacted them and dropped our pet in less than an hour. It was Sunday and they closed at 12. Im glad they took our dog else we wouldnt enjoy our visit to Ellijay and Blue Ridge that much. We were charged $30 for an overnight stay which is affordable. Thank you for taking care of our Tsuki.
Such an amazing place for your pets. They wash your pets toys, blankets and beds before you pick up your fur babies, they will bathe them as well for a small fee and they are treated with love.
So grateful for excellent, thoughtful care of our dog while we’re out of town! You can tell the staff is really caring. It’s hard to leave our pup behind but we’re grateful to have such a great place to leave her when we must. They definitely have exceeded my expectations.
This place is adequate for kenneling your loved one. A little surprised at the minimal handover when I brought my pets into their facility the first time however, my pets seemed to be well cared for when I returned
My daughter takes her dog here and loves the place. I myself am grateful to them for when my daughter's car broke down there they let me stay there until about midnight till i was able to finish fixing it.
Great boarding facility! The dogs have spacious runs and a fenced in place to run and exercise. The staff is incredibly dog friendly and accommodating to their needs. Highly recommended if you are near Ellijay.
