Intentional Love and Care
Five star sitter! Hughnique is friendly, responsible, and reliable. She showed up at the time we agreed on, took wonderful care of our cat Daisy, left the house clean and tidy, and gave us wonderful updates on our trip. I would not hesitate to invite her to sit again. Thank you so much for a pleasant experience, Hughnique!

Margery
Margery drove 1/3 of the way across the country to spend 10 days in Philadelphia with our 1 year old cat. She was incredibly flexible to our holiday travel schedule, and kept in good communication about how everything was going. Not only did we come home to a happy cat and a clean apartment, but she had washed and made our bed so it would be ready for us when we got home! We got more than we bargained for with Margery. Would recommend and use again.

Mary Pat was great for this weekend stay. Dexter and Luna warmed up to her and she was very communicative for the twice-daily updates that I requested. Would love to have her back.

A Family of Animal Lovers - We will care for your animals just like you do.
Our dog Marley has had a great time with Shanel, Sam and family. She loved the attention and entertainment from the two boys, and the whole family made a huge effort to fit her into their activities when visiting the area - visit Edinburgh on the train? - no problem for this bunch. Their communications were great, and there were no concerns before, during or after their visit. They left the house very clean and tidy, which is an effort with two boys and a dog! We have no reservations in recommending this lovely family as house / pet-sitters, and would happily leave them in charge here again.

Loving your pets makes me feel at home - wherever I travel!
Gina is absolutely amazing. I received pictures of my dog while I was gone. Came home to a very clean house. Prior to her coming we were able to connect. Communication was wonderful. She is the perfect pet sitter. I hope she picks to watch Cadence again one day.

Sarah was a great sitter. My cat warmed up to her right away, and she had no problem giving her medication. She left my apartment clean and tidy! Thanks Sarah!

Rose and mark were fantastic. Very professional and caring sitters. I never felt that I needed to worry about anything. They left my home in the condition as if they had never been there. I, absolutely couldn't have been more impressed and pleased.

Pet loving travel addict!
Sam did a wonderful job watching our home while we were away! He sent updates about our cats each day, asked questions if he couldn't find something, and left the house very tidy when he left. I would highly recommend Sam to anyone looking for a house sitter and he's welcome back to our house any time!
This was our first time using zeewoi and we were a little apprehensive, especially as we were going away for almost 5 weeks, but we really didn’t need to be. Mary and Kevin were fantastic from the start. They had excellent communication and put us at ease straight away. They looked after both our cats with lots of care and we came home to two very happy and content kitties. Mary and Kevin struck the balance just right whilst we were away by keeping us informed of how the cats were and sending pictures of what the cats were up to every couple of days. It was so lovely to know that the cats were enjoying themselves and being so well looked after whilst we were away. Mary and Kevin also looked after our house extremely well and we came back to a very clean and tidy home. We would definitely recommend Mary and Kevin to anyone needing a house sitter and would love for them to sit for us again if they were ever back in the area.
Toby and Chloe were amazing pet sitters. It wasn’t the easiest sit - a nervous dog and 3 cats with various ailments and medication to have, but they took it all in their stride and cared for them so well without any issues. Our nervous dog Zelda warmed to them in just 2 days which is a record for house sitters so far! I also really enjoyed getting to know them over dinner the night before I left, they’re very easygoing and positive people. They also left the house spotless for when I came back. I would love to have them sit for us again. You can rest assured your house and animals are in safe hands with this lovely pair!
Pares is an experienced and quality sitter and we knew our cat Juniper (and a few plants) was well cared for. We received regular updates and photos which was really nice to have during our travels. While we missed Juniper, we could see that she enjoyed receiving cuddles and attention from Pares. Upon returning home, our flat was clean and tidy, and Juniper was very happy! Thank you for taking care of her!
We are thoroughly pleased with and impressed by Daniel's kind, generous, and careful care of our cat and our house. He is a committed and experienced sitter who completely understands his role and responsibilities and also how to gently win the confidence and affection of a pet. He is an excellent communicator, and he kept us regularly up to date on our cat's well being--sending us texts and photos at least once/week as we requested. Our cat who is a little afraid of new people, grew fond of him, and we have returned to a very calm, contented cat. We highly recommend Daniel, and we ourselves would be thrilled to engage him again when the need arises.
Becca was fantastic - we cannot say enough about how great she is as a pet and house sitter and as a human being! Becca committed to the sit 8 months in advance and was great with her responsiveness in communication during the long lead up to the sit. She arrived early and got the low downs on the animals and house stuff prior to us leaving. She woke up crazy early to help us get to the airport and picked us up when we returned, which made the traveling so much easier on our end. She left the house spot-less (and this is no exaggeration), with the linens cleaned, and a wonderful meal waiting for us upon our return. She is an absolute gem of a person with a great sense of humor and a kind and compassionate nature, and she really enjoys the animals in her care. Our dog and cat were very well cared for and totally at ease upon our return. If you are lucky enough to have Becca sit for you, you will be very pleased at how well she does the job!
Brian is a very professional sitter that does a good job, pays attention to details and is easy to work with. I have a lot of plants. A lot. He suggested me do a video for the plant care so he could be sure of which ones needed what. Brilliant! I’d never thought of that. They were in great shape when I returned. I explained that I needed some flexibility with travel dates, he agreed and rolled with the punches like a champ when my dates did indeed change. Unfortunately, he was a bit allergic to my cat but made it work anyway. He was really awesome about everything including a tree that fell next door in a storm and blocked the road for three days. I appreciate that he appreciated how funny and how much personality Boo has. They got along well and I received some great videos. I returned home to a happy cat and a house well taken care of 😊. I would definitely recommend Brian.
Angel was absolutely the best house sitter we could have hoped for. She is a very warm, open and diligent person and our two cats adored her. She looked after our house and garden with really conscientious care. She won over our very timid cat, Billie, and sent regular photos of both cats looking supremely content which gave us perfect peace of mind. The house was completely spotless on our return and the garden was fabulous... no mean feat since there was a heatwave while we were away and she kept everything watered and in great condition. We would have Angel back at the drop of a hat and cannot recommend her highly enough.
Catherine was a wonderful sitter for our 17 year old cat Zabba. She sent us pictures twice a day and kept us informed about Zabba’s daily activities. We came home to a clean home and would definitely recommend her as a pet/ house sitter. My only concern was that she doesn’t drive and with an older cat, I just prayed that Zabba didn’t need to go to the vet…. And he didn’t 🥰. We will ask her again for sure.
Danny and Jo did a great job caring for our 3 cats and fish AND lots of plants (and home of course) while we were out of town for 3 weeks. We came back to a very clean house, sheets, and towels all clean and folded and fresh sheets on the bed they were using. The plants were all alive too, which is a first for us (again, we have a lot of plants!). The cats were happy to see us and they were all accounted for (a past sitter lost a cat for a week - they escaped outside as a non-outside cat). Everything was in its place and looked great. We received regular updates (via text) with photos of the cats lounging about which was important for us. Danny asked good questions when they visited us before the sit, and when reviewing our pet/house sitting instructions. The only thing we noticed that was different was that our 2 young cats were a little lighter (not necessarily a bad thing) but we understand that being gone for that length of time can be stressful on our furry family, which almost always affects their eating habits. All in all, we would definitely have them again!
Ann Marie was an excellent house sitter who went above and beyond. She flew in a day early and stayed at a local hotel so we she could meet my cat and get the keys before my early flight the next morning. When I returned, she and Tryke were best friends and the house was immaculate. She even washed the sheets and towels, and remade the bed. I strongly recommend Ann Marie for any future sits!

Butter and I love Pups Pet Club! Butter attends roughly twice a week and has so much fun playing with her friends. She starts pulling on the leash about two blocks away because she can’t contain her excitement. Everyone always addresses her by name when she enters, which makes her feel so special and loved. I can see how much they love and care for Butter and I completely trust them to treat her well while I’m at work. Butter and I also use their dog sitting services, which we also love. Butter is obsessed with her dog sitter, Devyn, and dog, Duchess. The pictures Devyn sends me of Duchess and Butter playing in the park or at her place warm my heart. Communication is great and Butter is smiling in every pic. It’s also really easy to drop Butter off whenever fits my schedule and pick her up. I totally recommend the River North Pups Pet Club for daycare and dog sitting services. I attached a picture of Butter with her best friend Duchess at Pups in front of their Halloween decorations. I personally enjoy the holiday photo shoots :)
I have just finished my sessions with Veronica and my 5 year old little Italian Greyhound, Louis. Since moving to the US he had become very reactive to bikes, skateboards, scooters and anything else that took his fancy. Veronica worked patiently with me and Louis to stop him yelping and pulling towards his triggers. While I love Louis, I was starting to feel differently about my walks with him. I can honestly say that he is about 95% back to his usual self. I am able to walk him all over downtown Chicago, the lakeshore and the river and he’s mostly settled. Veronica’s coaching, advice and simple tricks has settled him and me. I would absolutely recommend Veronica for anyone else wanting to enjoy walking their pup again. Nick and Louis
Will at PUPS Pet Club - River North always does a fantastic job grooming our Irish Doodle! He is an expert with Doodles and he takes great care of our fur baby! Highly recommend sending your pup to Will!
Do yourself a favor and don’t ever take your dog to this place for grooming. They nickel and dime you for everything—conditioner isn’t even included in a "full" groom! They have the nerve to charge $15 extra for that. To top it off, when I walked in, I saw the groomer aggressively getting all up in a dog's face while blow-drying it. Unbelievable.
I sent my Cavapoo puppy, Cali, to PUPS’s Play & Train program which includes daycare + 1 hour of private training per day. We had a fantastic experience working with our trainer Veronica to educate Cali on basic obedience, loose leash walking, and improving upon her natural puppy reactivity. Veronica is incredibly knowledgeable, only uses positive training reinforcement, and quite flexible in her training — I was also able to join her at the club to partake in my dog’s training with her. Getting a mix of private training, hands on training with me at the club, as well as training videos to watch at home has been instrumental in equipping me and my dog to take on different situations in the day-to-day life of raising a dog in a busy city. I’m so glad I made the training investment for Cali and I highly recommend Veronica and PUPS Pet Club to anyone seeking a fun, positive, and professional dog training!
I had an amazing experience to work with Chrissy (trainer) . She worked wonders in correcting various behavior issues with my dog (Mochi - mini aussie). From my experience, Chrissy's patience and expertise were instrumental in addressing problems like leash walking and separation anxiety. She took the time to understand Mochi's personality and provided tailored training solutions. What impressed me the most about Chrissy was her deep knowledge in dog behavior and training techniques. She communicated her instructions clearly, making it easy for me to follow and understand. I highly recommend Chrissy and PUPS Pet Club to anyone seeking professional dog training.
My puppy Louie, finished 1:1 home training seasons with Ryan and I can’t speak more highly of him and the training program. Louie, (although adorable) had a lot of behavioral things I really needed help with and Ryan was so knowledgeable, understanding, supportive and very professional. Louie has made HUGE improvements and I feel better equipped on training him properly. If your pup needs some extra training, I highly recommend the 1:1 training program and Ryan.
We brought our 1-year old puppy to PUPS club River North and when we took him, his toes were bleeding badly. The groomer didn’t even mention the accident before we noticed there was blood on the floor. They were trying to make us pay first, and hide the deep cut by putting powder on his toes without telling us until we noticed the injury. When we found out, they were not apologetic and blamed my puppy for jumping. This PUPS club is not a safe environment for dogs. Groomers had no patience or empathy towards dogs. I would give negative star if I could. I would not trust them to take care of your pet.
There’s another dog with the same name as mine. Per the front desk they differentiate them by saying the other with a positive attribute and mine with a negative. Honestly very very rude. Mine is still a puppy and the other is an adult dog, so they are at very different points in their training and development. Has me concerned for maltreatment if they are so open about this negative attribute that they use to tell the dogs apart.
Their grooming services are top notch! Stephanie is fabulous. She is so kind and patient with my somewhat anxious dogs. Plus they always look SO good after. I have never had a groomer cut my dogs hair so perfectly. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for really great service and a very kind and considerate staff!
I can’t believe how lucky I got to find Paws for Walks. All of the great reviews are 100% accurate. . I’ve had other dog walking services in the past 10 years . This one is by far the best. I use Alyssa who cares for Charlotte like a patient in a hospital. My senior just had IVDD surgery. I was so worried about being out for even a few hours- but her care put me at ease. I use them weekly. Kara the owner truly cares about both her two and four legged clients. She was able fit me in the last minute. Paws for Walks the best! I highly recommend them.
Thank god my friend July recommended you after I asked her which was the best pet care company in our neighborhood, and she wasn’t wrong! 🤩 I’m so thrilled to share my experience with this amazing pet care company! From the moment I reached out, Kara, the owner, was incredibly warm and welcoming. She contacted me right away after my inquiry and took the time to understand both my needs and my dog's personality. During my dog’s boarding stay, I felt completely at ease knowing that he was in such loving hands. Kara kept me updated with adorable pictures and videos, and it was clear that my pup was having a blast! He came home so happy and content, which is all a pet parent could hope for. After that wonderful experience, I decided to schedule weekly walks, and I couldn’t be luckier. Kara and her team treat my dog like family, and I love hearing about their adventures together. Thank you, guys! You have made a huge difference in our lives, and I wholeheartedly recommend your services to anyone looking for top-notch pet care. Penny and I are so grateful to have found you! 🐾❤️
I cannot recommend Paws for Walks highly enough. Kara and Lesley provide exceptional care for my senior dog while boarding him, and he is always excited to see them. They are professional and reliable, and I feel that they truly care about the well-being of the animals in their care. I really appreciate their general responsiveness and the frequent photo updates while my dog is in their care. If you’re looking for top-notch pet care services, look no further than Paws for Walks!
I recently hired Paws For Walks to walk my dog, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. From the first contact, their level of professionalism and empathy towards animals was evident. The team is incredibly affectionate and genuinely cares about my dog’s well-being, ensuring that each walk is both enjoyable and safe. Their proactivity in adapting to my pet’s specific needs has been remarkable. I highly recommend Paws For Walks to any dog owner looking for a reliable and high-quality walking service. The peace of mind knowing your furry friend is in such good hands is priceless.
I cannot say enough good things about Paws for Walks! They are wonderful, caring and very communicative. Kind and accommodating also! I love the app it is very easy to use! Highly recommend on behalf of two happy pups!
Having moved to the city recently we were a bit nervous finding a new dog walker for our big boy, but were referred from another Great Dane friend to Paws For Walks. We are SO happy to have found them!! Kara and her partner genuinely care about all of their clients and made us feel right at home, welcoming us to the Paws For Walks family. We particularly love supporting an LGBTQ and women-owned business! We have absolutely LOVED our two consistent walkers, Marisa and Laura, who shower Huey with lots of love and pets ❤️ 💕 . The company is easy to communicate with and schedule through the app, and the prices are really reasonable for walks! We get updates every walk and a report to see where they went and all the cute photos. If you need a dog walking *family* to join in Chicago, this is the one!
We have had our 2 pups for 7 years (rescued at 2 years old) and Paws for Walks has been the best service we have ever had. They came into our lives in June of 2021 and have never missed a walk. NOT ONE. Melinda is the absolute best. She really cares about our dogs and treats them with such love. She has made friends with our neighbors and their dogs as our dogs do have puppy friends. We cannot be happier and highly recommend them to all! Happy Dog Mom
Paws for Walks is wonderful. Kathy, our dog walker and petsitter is like family to us. She takes care of our 3 pups and they come back happy and well taken care of. Also, as our schedule changes frequently, they are very accommodating meeting last minute requests. Four PAWS up.
Paws for Walks has been a great service to us with our busy schedules. Nash loves all of his walkers but especiallyJenifer Digiovanni. She treats Nash like one of her own fur babies. Nash is always so excited for walks with her and is thrilled when he sees her at the park when he goes with us. The communication with Paws for Walks is great and I love how they aim to keep consistency with the dog walker whenever possible. Have recommended to a few friends so their pup can be as happy as mine!
Paws for Walks Chicago is the gold standard for pet care. We were faced with a nightmarish situation while 4,000 miles away from home when our pre-arranged sitter fell through. Our dog trainer works closely with Paws for Walks and helped us get onboarded with them. Once we hired Paws for Walks we were finally able to disconnect on our first vacation in two years. Our assigned dog walker Maryely continues to be a dream and we and our dogs adore her! She is patient, caring and kind with them, she takes them on the best walks, takes the cutest pics and videos and it is so obvious how much she loves the pets in her care. What a gem Paws for Walks has in Maryely! Dusty also walked our pups one day and they both thoroughly enjoyed themselves during their time with Dusty, too! Thank you Dusty! All Paws for Walks team members send regular photo and video updates each walk, messages to the pawrents, too. Their client portal is terrific. It shows walk routes via GPS and a report of if they did their numbers 1 and 2 and how many treats they ate. Scheduling, invoice paying, vet records updating are all made quick and easy with their app. Paws for Walks Chicago is caring of both pets and their humans. We are very proud to support a women and LGBTQ owned, inclusive local business like Paws for Walks Chicago. We are grateful for their care for our family. Thank you Kara and Lesley, Maryely and Dusty for all you do! The Carbone Family
I’ve been working with Jesse and Canine Perspectives for over a year now. I adopted Winston, a now 5 year old pittie mix, 2.5 years ago. He had a rough go like many shelter dogs and was reactive to dogs and over medicated for it. Positive only reinforcement didn’t work for Winston. I had to hide behind cars with him if he even saw a dog a block away and even then he would lose control. Initially I worked with another faculty that used e-collar but was not seeing enough progress. I found Jesse and the rest is history. Jesse is compassionate, patient, knowledgeable and a fantastic trainer. He was thorough upon meeting me and Winston for the first time and gave his honest opinion. He also took the time to educate me on the why and the psychology of dog. Fast forward to today, I’m now equipped to introduce Winston to dogs he will see regularly - after Paws said he would never be a social dog, Winston walks past other dogs without issue and he is fully weened off the three drugs Paws had him on for reactivity and anxiety. He’s a different dog - in every good way possible. Jesse and Canine Perspectives are the only place I trust with Winston. Finding a quiet kennel with structure is a rare gem. I know Winston is always safe and getting exactly what he needs while I’m not with him. We wouldn’t be where we are today, and Winston wouldn’t be living the best life he is without jesse and team. If you’re hesitant about e-collar, you need to talk to Jesse! Best trainer in Chicago!
We recently enrolled our dog in the two week Board & Train program with Canine Perspective and couldn’t be happier with the experience and results. Jesse has an incredible way with dogs and we are so impressed with how much more calm, attentive, and disciplined our 4 year old dog has been since leaving. Jesse leaves you with an interactive video and recording of your dog’s training that makes it super easy to implement at home. We’ve seen significant improvements in our dog’s obedience, social skills, and anxiety. Choosing to take our dog here was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made and an added bonus is that they always show your dog on the Instagram page! Thanks again Jesse!
The team at Canine Perspective has completely changed our lives! Not only has Jesse given our power-breed pup confidence to be around strangers and other dogs but he has given us, as dog parents, a better understanding of how she operates building our confidence, as well. After every training session we leave feeling relieved because he is the first trainer she has had that understands her and does not fault her for her more challenging traits. His focused, individualized training has allowed us to open up our home to more friends and family while still allowing our hyper-vigilant pup to feel safe in her space. We truly cannot thank this team enough and recommend them to everyone!
We trained our dog Lucy at canine perspectives with incredible results. Lucy is a very reactive 65 lb dog. She loves people, but when she’s around dogs there’s really nothing we could do. Until we got Lucy trained at canine perspective for reactivity and off leash. We love to travel and hike with Lucy everywhere, and the training she got has afforded her so much freedom. Lucy wasn’t always reactive, she used to go to normal day care and has been plenty socialized. But right around when she matured and turned 3 she wanted nothing to do with dogs. In fact we couldn’t take her to normal day cares anymore. Say what you want about their methods, but it gave our dog her freedom back and she actually has a day care to go to once in a while. And she gets super excited to go. Really the only reason we even take her is for social interaction. It’s amazing to see her actually play with dogs and be reactive towards them. By the way, we tried the collar on our arm first and it’s about as strong as those TENS machines. Not a big deal, just a good tool to communicate with your dog. Quite frankly, Lucy is less anxious in public when she has her collar on cause it provides her with reassurance that we are on the same page. It’s an absolute joy to be able to hike with Lucy off leash without fear of her running after another dog. I’d absolutely recommend them if you want to be able to be off leash or have a reactive dog.
