Third sit for us from Craig and Lesley. Like the previous two, the sit was straightforward from organising the sit, to arrival and right through the sit until we came home. We were kept updated throughout and when one of our cats unusually stayed out all night, they kept looking for her until she showed up again which really put our minds at rest. Linda & Tony were fabulous dogsitters and Tilly was very sad to see them go. They looked after the house and car immaculately and even cooked us a meal for when we returned. "A relaxing and long time away from home made possible by the best pet & house sitters we could have asked for!" Judy and Steph went the extra mile over their entire one month stay at our home. Both our cats became fast friends thanks to the care and dedication provided for them. We were routinely updated with spectacular photos of our furry girls throughout our leave that helped us be anxiety-free the entire time. Even our older shy cat spent time sleeping on their laps or hanging out on shoulders. As for the house, Judy and Steph left it even cleaner than when they arrived! We had a few tasks to maintain the lawn and potted plants outside, which were completed perfectly. They even tended to our vegetable garden where needed! During a 'risk of severe hail storm' alert, Judy and Steph kept us in the loop and went even further to place potted plants under shelter out of harms way. In summary, we recommend Judy and Steph and would happily have them return again if our schedules cross paths.

From our first contact to when we arrived home after our trip, communication was excellent and we were able to enjoy our time away with complete peace of mind that our pets and our home were in good hands. Becca was fantastic - we cannot say enough about how great she is as a pet and house sitter and as a human being! Becca committed to the sit 8 months in advance and was great with her responsiveness in communication during the long lead up to the sit. She arrived early and got the low downs on the animals and house stuff prior to us leaving. She woke up crazy early to help us get to the airport and picked us up when we returned, which made the traveling so much easier on our end. She left the house spot-less (and this is no exaggeration), with the linens cleaned, and a wonderful meal waiting for us upon our return. She is an absolute gem of a person with a great sense of humor and a kind and compassionate nature, and she really enjoys the animals in her care. Our dog and cat were very well cared for and totally at ease upon our return. If you are lucky enough to have Becca sit for you, you will be very pleased at how well she does the job!

After seeing the numerous positive reviews, I knew Cung would be an easygoing and professional cat sitter and house guest, and he was :-) Easy communication, prompt updates and clear concern for Boz & Artie's wellbeing, and pictures of cozying up on the couch together all made our time away secure and stress free. Brian is a very professional sitter that does a good job, pays attention to details and is easy to work with. I have a lot of plants. A lot. He suggested me do a video for the plant care so he could be sure of which ones needed what. Brilliant! I’d never thought of that. They were in great shape when I returned. I explained that I needed some flexibility with travel dates, he agreed and rolled with the punches like a champ when my dates did indeed change. Unfortunately, he was a bit allergic to my cat but made it work anyway. He was really awesome about everything including a tree that fell next door in a storm and blocked the road for three days. I appreciate that he appreciated how funny and how much personality Boo has. They got along well and I received some great videos. I returned home to a happy cat and a house well taken care of 😊. Kathy and Ron arrived at our home with a most fantastical toy for our cats and a giant apple pie. Need I say more? They are very experienced sitters and brought personal items that they prefer. We knew we were leaving out cats in good hands. A large part of their 'job' was hand watering our garden and Ron took that in stride. Everything is thriving. Our cats are usually distant with new people but we received photos of them keeping Kathy and Ron company in various situations which was reassuring. They clearly won our cats over. Although Ron and Kathy had a ferry to catch on their last day, they took time to wash their linens and hang them on the clothesline. They also left us a gorgeous plant for our garden. We would very much like to have them back for a longer sit if possible.

Ruthee was a fabulous pet sitter for our three cats while we were gone for a month. Prior to the sit, she was consistent and communicative; she even came over early for a meet and greet to learn the routine. During the sit, she took great care of our three cats by playing with them (she made a fun cat toy!), scooping litter, feeding and watering them, and sent us text updates and pictures. If Macie and Roman ever apply to your post for a house or pet sit, I strongly encourage you to jump at the. offer. You will not be disappointed. They are among the top (if not the top) sitter I've ever had and I've been on this site for years. Primarily, they are very organized. In the weeks and days leading up to the sit, Macie and Roman kept me abreast of their plans and status. I felt very comfortable in the days leading up to the sit because I knew the plan we made to exchange the keys and walk them through the instructions would work as planned. Second, Macie and Roman really care. When they got to my apartment after a very long morning of traveling, I explained the care instructions and they were very attentive and cared about the details - asking very specific questions on how to care for my cat and apartment. I had some pretty specific rules about how to feed my cat and take care of him and Macie and Roman followed those exactly. Third, Macie and Roman make you feel comfortable while you are away. I got daily or twice daily updates about my cat. I got pictures which made me feel like my cat was having a good time. My cat came out of hiding very quickly and was snuggling with them and letting them hold him. It was so nice to see the pictures of them all bonding! Macie and Roman have a calming energy towards animals for sure! Macie and Roman were also very responsive when I reached out first - replying within 30 minutes. I really appreciated that. Fourth, Roman and Macie will take good care of your apartment/house. I came back to a SPOTLESS apartment. The towels were washed. The apartment had been vacuumed. The kitchen was clean. The dishwasher had been run. Everything was in its place when I returned. Honestly, cleaner than when I left it which is difficult since I am a very clean person. Macie and Roman also respects your property. We had a room we asked them not to enter and they respected that. In short, Macie and Roman are amazing. I would have them back in a heartbeat. Amazing sitters - I feel so fortunate to have had them stay. Chapeau was treated to daily walks and belly rubs, and my cat Tica was overflowing with contentment from having been taken care of so well. The house was cleaner than I left it and I was treated to a nice note and a lovely candle upon my return. Also, they left a checklist of item that they had done while here. Truly above and beyond!

Annie & Ewan have been walking our two dogs since they started, and they recently had them for a week while we went on our our first foreign holiday in years. Annie & Ewan have built a great relationship with our two, who can be challenging at times being rescues, so we had no qualms about leaving them there. We got daily updates and photos which put our minds at rest, and it is clear that the dogs love both the walks and staying over. Annie and Ewan have looked after our cat in our home a few times. Their service is superb. The updates of how she is getting on together with photos/videos is a great touch and loved by all of us. We will definitely be booking their services the next time we go away.

Annie and Ewan reassured us and kept us updated with pictures of Harry, when he stayed while we were on holiday. Even his yucky raw food was not a problem. He is a big dog and his tail can be quite a weapon, I understand he is a lot to take on and I over fuss but he genuinely seemed happy staying there, I was reassured by their experience of dogs.
No hesitation in recommending Loch Leven Petcare. From my initial enquiry they were professional but friendly too. I was looking for a week long holiday home for our young Cavapoo. They offered a couple of 'practice' nights away which put both me and my dog at ease. In fact my dog was obviously excited to be back when I dropped her off! I know they looked after her well, keeping her busy with walks and playtime. The updates and photos while we were away were an added bonus. I will definitely be using Annie and Ewan again.
We were looking for dog boarding for our dog Millie at short notice and over the Christmas period. Ewan and Anne were recommended to us on a Facebook community group and when we got in touch we found they were very helpful and friendly. They cared for Millie like she was their own and sent us plenty of updates and photos during her stay. We now use Loch Leven Petcare for regular walks and we couldn't be happier with the service. They even have a tracking tag they use on Millie's collar, so they can show us on a map how far she has ran on her walk! If you love your pet, you'll love these guys!
Had read some great reviews on the local community page and got in touch with Annie and Ewan. They replied very promptly with links to the forms we needed to fill in for Jack and Finn. What was so brilliant though was that they wanted to meet our dogs in their own home to get an idea of what they were like. Both Annie and Ewan spent a lot of time playing and talking to our boys, Ewan even sat on the floor whilst Finn jumped all over him. The boys had a great time and we were both so delighted that they were with a couple who really loved dogs. Already planning their next stay - Highly recommend...
We left Nellie with Annie and Ewan while we went to a wedding. It was our first visit to the area and we were a little concerned about leaving her, especially as she has not been left since the first lockdown. We needn’t have worried. We got updates about how she was settling and pictures. She got walked and cuddled and we are hoping to leave her again on our next visit.

Layla looked after our little sausage dog Maisy whilst we were getting married down the road at Inchyra. Layla also brought Maisy to our wedding for a couple of hours so she could be there on our special day. Maisy had the best time with Layla and she could not have been better cared for. Layla sent us lots of photos and video updates so we were absolutely confident she was settled and having a lovely time. Tails and Trails aka Layla offers a wonderful service, she came to meet Ruby and assess her skills and interactions with other dogs before taking her on 1-1 walks, then when Ruby was behaving well off lead she introduced her to pack walks. Ruby loves her weekly pack walks and is always excited to go and tired afterwards. I highly recommend this service.

I adopted my dog in September of last year, not knowing much about his background other than him not being good around other dogs. We contacted Layla to help us out with our dog when we were recently away and he was staying with my in-laws. Layla met us beforehand and instantly Rolo was at ease with her. Whilst we were away she picked him up daily from my in laws house and took him either on pack walks or to the doggy play park. She regularly sent us photos and videos of him having the most amazing time. It re assured us greatly that he was having fun and also he was tired out when he returned to my in laws house ensuring he was better behaved for them. If only we lived closer that Layla could take him out for us. We will definitely uses Layla again when we are next away and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend her and her team.

Our Shih Tzu, Mikey, is regularly at Blairadam Kennels. For longish bookings, also the odd day here and there when we can't take him with us. Clearly, the kennels are very kind to him & he must have a great time as he's always happy to go back for another stay. Mo is a real diamond who is always prepared to help. I first met Mo a couple of months ago after I contacted her regarding my almost 4 year old GSD (Riley) who can be very challenging to introduce to new people due to stranger reactivity when approached. He has also never been kennelled before. Mo was amazing with Riley and knew exactly how to handle him. We met numerous times in bite sized chunks and built up to Mo walking Riley on the lead and petting him etc before he stayed for a few hours a couple of times and then over night prior to leaving him for 16 days (all of the initial with no charge!) Before we left I knew Riley had built a relationship with Mo and trusted her but was a bit worried he’d think we had abandoned him having never being in the kennels before and perhaps be a bit mopey and not eat as much etc… WELL I needn’t have worried one bit! When we got back Mr Riley had had the time of his life. He was happy to see us for about 30 seconds and then was pulling Mo to go into the office for his usual chicken lol! Clearly not as happy to see us as I thought he’d be :-/ Riley has built an amazing relationship with Mo and although she is his main handler and he hasn’t had as much time with the rest of the team you could tell he was even comfortable with them and was pulling me here there and everywhere to say goodbye to everyone. Our big pup came out happy and healthy and even got a goodbye present of chicken and lots of toys. Can’t thank you enough Mo and will definitely be returning Riley to this kind and animal loving lady whenever required!
Not happy about the state our dog was after staying for two days. Only stayed for two nights, cost a lot more than the usual kennels that we take her to and she came out scared of the woman, faeces all over her and needed washed as soon as we got home, she has lay in bed ever since, not getting up even for food, looking thoroughly depressed, she has never been like this after kennels before. We also left her teddy so she had her usual scents and her comfort toy and that never made it down to the kennels it stayed in the same place we left it in reception. Will never return and would urge people to think twice before putting their pets in these kennels.
Thank you mo and your staff for looking after my dogs whilst we were away on holiday. I have no worries leaving them with mo and the staff there,the dogs get very spoilt and half the time not wanting to leave! This is why I've used these kennels for years. Wouldn't go any where else. Left our furbabies with Mo & her team a few times now and, when we go back to collect them, they come out with their tails wagging and sometimes run to Mo instead of us! Mo goes out of her way to accommodate. We'll deserved 5* 👏🏼 …
Put my dog in for two weeks.....he saw our vet the week before he went in and weighed 57 kilos.....went to collect him and was horrified at his condition.....skin and bone obviously lost a lot of weight.....staff assured me he had been eating and drinking well.....took him to the vet and he lost 11 kilos in 2 weeks......when we got him home he went straight to his bowl and rattled it....we fed him and he ate ravenously.....his eating was bad as good went all over the place and he was foaming at the mouth. Vet carried out various checks and took bloods all normal. Vets conclusion, and mine, my dog had not been fed for 2 weeks. Contacted the kennels but received no reply. Now reporting them to various people for cruelty and will pursue them for kennels fees and £300 vet bill.
