Animals are such agreeable friends. They ask no questions & pass no criticism.
Dawn and Greg were the perfect sitters from the start. We had a great FaceTime with them since they were coming from a different time zone, which immediately put us at ease! We ran into a bit of an issue night one (our fault) and they were flexible, adaptable and SO gracious! Dawn was great about communicating with us, sending pictures and keeping us apprised of how our kitties were doing. We would gladly have Dawn and Greg again.

My scheduled sitter had cancelled close to my departure date, and Diane stepped up and offered her services. So much appreciated. I was able to visit my grandchildren!!! Diane (Bogie) gave EJ lots of attention and took him for many many walks during my absence. She also froze some of the leftovers that I had prepared so that I would have food upon my return--again, much appreciated without having to go shopping immediately. Her compassion did not go unnoticed!!

Mature, female teacher wants to get to know new people, pets and places
Chica was a great sitter. She incredibly volunteered to arrive a day early to familiarize herself with my dog, Honey, home and the surrounding area. This was greatly appreciated and helped both of us since this was my first experience with Zeewoi. While I was gone she sent daily updates and pictures of Honey to me. Honey and Chica got along well and I think they had as good of time as I did on vacation. When I returned the house was in order so there was no catching up to do which again was very appreciated. Chica did a great job and both Honey and I look forward to her sitting for us in the future.

Looking to babysit the world's most cutest pets ever.
Tammy was incredible with communication. She asked and took daily photos and texts of our pets while we were away. We came home to an immaculately cleaned home (I can't even clean it to the level we came home to!!!) Tammy had dinner ready for us when we arrived home. The night we got home my dogs were calm and confused where to sleep, hence I KNEW they loved her being with them. I cannot recommend her enough! We were truly blessed to have her care for our dogs, chickens and home.

Teacher/petsitter dreaming of making petsitting and traveling a reality!
When we select a sitter, we read every review in addition to conducting some sort of video interview. We really rely upon the experiences of past hosts, so that’s why I believe it important to be honest in this review. I love giving out 5 star reviews and do quite frequently, but I also need to share any less-than-positive experiences as well for those hosts who rely upon reviews such as we do. As such, I’m a bit ambivalent about writing this review of Katie, as there were some really good things Katie did while here. She is a lovely, energetic woman who responded immediately to the concerns I voiced to her during the time she watched our pets; however, the “negatives” we experienced speak to the heart of the importance of having a dedicated pet sitter. For the most part, our home was left tidy and neat – which is no small feat as ours is a large house and I appreciate the care Katie took in ensuring we walked into a clean home. That said, Katie failed to notice my dogs had urinated in both of their dog beds and on the floor of our downstairs office, which we believed happened in the first part of the sit and resulted in the downstairs smelling of stale urine. Further, because she didn’t notice the urine, my pets, when downstairs, had to either sleep on the bare floor or in wet beds, neither of which is a satisfactory option. Also, my dogs don’t generally urinate in the house as they have access to a doggie door, and this seemed more a sign of their distress or discomfort. I believe this incident was part of a larger problem I experienced with Katie and that was in the manner in which she approached this sit. I advertised dates of July 6 – July 22. We generally ask our sitters to come in a day or two early as to walk them through the schedule for both our animals and our many plants, as well as to give them time to get to know the animals and experience a little of the town we live in. We also provide a very detailed introduction and welcome guide which outlines our expectations. Katie came in late in the day on the 7th, without personal transportation, which necessitated us picking her up and then my neighbor taking her to a rental cart company the next day because we left very early on the morning of the 8th. This abbreviated introductory time didn’t allow us to fully prepare Katie for the sit and allowed for some apparent “misunderstandings.” The “issue” for me was for the first five days of our 13-day trip, Katie was away from the house for up to 13 hours at a time – leaving our two, older rescue dogs, who have some separation anxiety - alone and with an extended time between meals. It was clear Katie was using this opportunity to visit many of the beautiful areas which surround where we live – hence using our home as more of an Airbnb to vacation – than a house sit dedicated to caring for our animals. Our dogs are fine with being alone for up to six hours but even that, for multiple days in a row, is, frankly, distressing to our animals and to us, as owners. To Katie’s credit, when I called and brought her daily, extended time away to her attention and reiterated my wishes the dogs not be left for more than 6 hours, she changed her schedule and while still gone every day, capped her time away at six hours. And, as I said, she is cheerful and responsive; hence, the ambivalence is positing my concerns with this sit. I think if Katie is provided with very clear expectations prior to the sit and understands exactly what is needed and expected, she will absolutely deliver. For whatever reason, from the start, this sit was rushed, there appeared to be too many misunderstandings, and it ended up being frustrating for us in ways other sits have not been.

In God I trust. All creatures great and small, looking forward to meeting yours
This is the third time Brigid has cared for our cats and our house, and as always, she did a fabulous job. Our cats, especially Rosie, remember Brigid and are glad to see her. Rosie's feeding can be difficult, and Brigid takes extra care with her and keeps us informed of how she's doing. Emily is very shy, and Brigid knows how to work with her and respect her space. We greatly appreciate that because we know Emily is not hiding the entire time we're away. Brigid also takes great care of the house while we're away. We always return to a clean house, all the mail collected and in one place, and the indoor and outdoor plants properly watered. We are very grateful that we have connected with Brigid and her family members in the local area. We definitely will ask for her to house/pet sit for us again!

Lindsey was great! She left the house clean and organized and no concerns with that. My dog loved her and it went so well he didn’t have any behavior problems when I got back. Would definitely recommend and have her come back in the future.
This was our first time using zeewoi and we were a little apprehensive, especially as we were going away for almost 5 weeks, but we really didn’t need to be. Mary and Kevin were fantastic from the start. They had excellent communication and put us at ease straight away. They looked after both our cats with lots of care and we came home to two very happy and content kitties. Mary and Kevin struck the balance just right whilst we were away by keeping us informed of how the cats were and sending pictures of what the cats were up to every couple of days. It was so lovely to know that the cats were enjoying themselves and being so well looked after whilst we were away. Mary and Kevin also looked after our house extremely well and we came back to a very clean and tidy home. We would definitely recommend Mary and Kevin to anyone needing a house sitter and would love for them to sit for us again if they were ever back in the area.
We were very lucky to have had Nia for our recent house sit. She communicated well before the sit and arrived as planned. We shared a meal before we left which gave us time to get to know her and tell her about the house and our pets. After we left it soon became clear the cats loved Nia and the attention she gave them. We were kept informed throughout her stay with regular updates and video clips of what they were up to and how the garden was growing etc. We highly recommend Nia as a pet/house sitter and we would certainly have her back should the opportunity arise. Thanks again Nia
Cung is a diligent and communicative cat sitter and house guest, and we'd highly recommend him! We hope to have him back again soon
Elisabeth was an excellent sitter for our cat. We were away for two weeks and received daily photos and notes from her about Catman's activities (i.e., sleeping and eating). She is definitely a cat lover and that was evident from our cat's calm behavior when we returned.
Catherine was wonderful! She took care of my cat and house while I was out of town and left and Jack the Cat very and calm and the house in perfect shape which I so appreciate. I could return home and attend to other things rather than cleaning house. I would recommend her as a sitter to anyone. She was easy to communicate with, provided updates and pics of Jack, willing to jump in and assist me as I left or returned. She has a sweet and warm personality and enjoys what she does with house sitting. Thank you Catherine!
I highly recommend Daniel as a pet sitter and house sitter! He took care of Pipa for over three months this winter and did an outstanding job. From the first day, it was clear that he had a genuine love for animals and a great deal of experience with pets. He was very attentive to his needs and always made sure he was comfortable, well-fed, and had plenty of playtime. In addition to his pet-sitting duties, Daniel also went above and beyond by processing my postal mail and keeping the house well-organized. He was very responsible and reliable, always arriving on communicating, putting the bins out, and watering the plants on time, and keeping me updated with photos and messages. I felt completely at ease knowing that my cat was in such good hands and that my home was well-cared for while I was away. When I returned from my trip, Pipa was happy, healthy, and well-adjusted, thanks to Daniel's excellent care. I would definitely hire him again and recommend him to anyone in need of a trustworthy, caring, and responsible pet and house sitter!
We can not exaggerate the care and love Juliet and Laurent gave to our cat, Piero, during his the last few weeks of life. While we left for our trip thinking he merely had a bladder infection, his symptoms turned for the worse a weeks into their sit and later revealed he had cancer. No one would wish their sitter to need to hospice their cat but Juliet and Laurent showed such compassion for Piero and volunteered to be with him when we made the decision to put him down. It was an emotional time for all of us and we will be forever grateful to our two caring cat and house sitters. We have had many fantastic housesitters through zeewoi but Juliet and Laurent top the list. Their professionalism, constant communication and compassion were exceptional. Should you have the opportunity to have them in your home, do not hesitate to book them, you will have no regrets. We do, however, regret that they had such a short time with Piero and had to experience such a painful event.
Jinnie was an excellent house sitter for me and my cat Felix. Completely responsible and reliable and helpfully flexible. She was willing to work with me as I dithered on whether I was actually going to go on my trip (which was dependent on good weather), and when I finally decided on making my trip one day shorter. House was clean and organized on my return, and, more importantly, my cat was calm and relaxed on my return. I would happily have Jinnie come sit for me and Felix again.
Kristine was wonderful again as our local sitter from just down the street. The boys take to her like she is their best friend whenever she comes to sit with them. She sent us photos of them playing, relaxing, drinking water and eating so we knew they were well taken care of. The house and the cats were in excellent shape and excellent hands while we were away. It is wonderful that she enjoys the house and the cats so much and tells us so. Kristine comes with our highest recommendation! Thank you Kristine!
Super nice sitters and extremely flexible. Really enjoyed their company and I only regret that I was too frazzled to chat with them more and get to know them! Kept the house super clean, pets loved them. Dog especially. Had a little problem with my new kitten not meshing well with the older cats (which was not too surprising since cats can be territorial). Pennee was very patient and gave me constant updates and tips. And the older cat was much more calm when I came home. Highly recommend and welcome back anytime!

I want to give 10 out of 10 stars! They are amazing. They took great care of my 2 year old labradoodle. From now on when anyone asks me where get their dog groomed I will recommend Muttheads pet care LLC! Thank you Muttheads
All I can say is WOW! Muttheads did a fantastic job grooming my Great Pyrenees. I was a bit nervous as this was her first grooming and she is only 22 months. They must have had a lot of patience. What a friendly place. Thank you Brittany she is beautiful.
I've been going there since they opened up and I swear they are the best with my OEB Reid. Every time we can pull in the Kroger's parking lot he thinks he's going to get his nails clipped. And let me tell you those are the only two people that I've ever seen be able to clip his nails without him having to be restrained. They're very friendly at fair pricing as well
Maxie loves being treated like a Queen for a day on her spa days. Jenna does a great job grooming her.We feel at ease leaving her for her pampering.
Today was the first visit for my furry son Cody. We loved it there and he enjoyed himself too. He always loves to see Erica and gets so excited! She did a fantastic job, treated him as her own, and he came out smelling and looking great! If you're trying to decide where to bring your furry family members for proper care, look no further!
This is the best dog groomers you could possibly go to!!!! They are so kind and patient, very thorough and do the most beautiful job!!! My shitzu Teddy looks awesome!!!! The last groomer I had made a mess of him and they brought him back to the adorable guy he is! Thank you Muttheads.
So thankful I was recommended to Muttheads! My dog is very nervous to go to the groomers and has had some not so good experiences. The staff is awesome here! They were very attentive and patient with my dog Beethoven 😊 Thank you so much! We can’t wait to come back. …
Desmond the Basset Hound does not like baths or nail trims at home, but he did so good at Muttheads and came home smelling amazing!! I could tell he was feeling good about himself after his pampering☺️ The team at Muttheads did a great job with Des and were so friendly!! We will be coming often for walk-in nail trims and occasional bath times. You and your dog will love this groomer!
Always do a wonderful job and are always nice! Kalani loves her visits!
Took my pup for her first official cut. They are so welcoming and friendly. I love the extra attention they give. Little details like bows for her hair were perfect! I will never go anywhere else! Plus she comes out smelling better than any pet grooming salon I’ve used in the past! Definitely bring your pups to Muttheads!
Our dog loves staying at the Dog Lodge! It’s clear that the staff here care about dogs, especially since they have their own dog rescue. I highly recommend them for daycare and boarding services. Our dog goes twice a week for daycare and comes back exhausted, which is money well spent!
Called to have our dogs (Rottweiler & French Bulldog) boarded for our wedding on a friend's recommendation. We were told that the French Bulldog was able to come but not the Rottweiler due them not taking "power breeds". When asked if they took Golden Retrievers or Labs we were told yes so clearly this is because he is a Rottweiler. We have been breed shamed on multiple occasions and I normally attributed it to lack of knowledge or just plain ignorance. Never did I anticipate having to deal with this from a veterinarian or so called "dog people". I will be spreading this information on as many social media outlets as possible.
called to see if I am able to bring my dog for boarding, as soon as I said Pitbull the lady said no not those breeds, and hung up. So sad and such ignorance. These people should NOT run a business like this. If you have a place for dogs, it should be ALL DOGS!! They claim they love dogs, well they do as long as its NOT a Pitbull or a rottweiler.
My dog Miles has been boarded at the Dog numerous times over the last 8 years. He absolutely loves going there. The staff has always been courteous and helpful. They genuinely care for the animals and are happy to see Miles come there. Definitely a 5 star place.
Knowledgeable, friendly, compassionate. The Dog Lodge cares about both the dogs they take care of and the owners of those dogs as well. Always clean and always reassured your dogs are left in capable hands. Great relationship with the vet staff (Dandy Acres) directly next door and often will communicate with the vet staff in case of illness/emergency. Highly recommended!!!
We had a great first experience at The Dog Lodge. I popped in there to ask some questions about daycare while our 8 month old puppy was seeing the vet at Dandy. Front desk was helpful and took the time to explain what a day for Bo would look like. After chatting about some anxiety he has with enclosed spaces, I was told that they would try to accommodate a bigger kennel during rest/lunch time whenever possible. When I picked up Bo after his Intro day ( a few hours later), I was given an update on how he did playing and kennel time. I appreciate the extra effort so Bo will be back for sure.
We always board our dog at the Dog Lodge at Dandy Acres. It's great having piece of mind that our vet is in the same building in case of emergencies. Our dog is always thrilled to be there when I drop him off, and he is exhausted when he comes home. They have separate areas for different sized or aged dogs, and a large outside area for all the dogs to play in. Overall, it's a great option for either overnight stays or daily daycare for your dog.
I recommend Dandy Acres Daycare and Lodge. Our dogs, Marty (Doberman) and Duke (lab/Great Dane) love it. They have been there for doggy daycare and for lodging. The people here are super friendly and very good with the dogs. They even have bath time, nails trimmed and teeth brushed. Marty and Duke (along with their parents) highly recommend Dandy Acres Daycare and Lodge to your 4legged children. Tell them Marty and Duke sent you; you won't regret it!
The place seems great! I have only used the day-care service once so far. I like that the dogs play in groups for most of the day. They are not stuck in a cage, only getting 20 minutes play time twice a day. My dog came home exhausted and slept well that night. She has a lot of energy so this was great for her. I have not gotten a tour yet but that is my fault. I will be doing that soon. The cost is reasonable. They seem to be busy and dropping your pup off can take a few minutes because a lot of people use the day care. So be patient and keep some distance between the people dropping off before you. The pups will have plenty of time to play after they are checked in. I also love that they have a vet next door. The only thing I am not a fan of, and the Dog lodge is not the only place to do this. The animals are left alone at night. There's no human on site. I understand there are cameras, but no one is watching 100% of the time. For me it defeats the purpose of boarding your best friend. Your paying for them to be watched and protected day AND night. This bothers me but most people are ok with it. I worry about fire and the dogs being trapped. Or if a pet is getting sick, or flooding, even some one breaking in and doing harm. I wish someone was on site all night doing homework while watching the monitors. Walking around and checking on the animals every couple of hours. I would pay a few dollars more to help cover that person's wage. Just for peace of mind. You're paying for a service. It seems you only getting a part time service.
An awesome place for dogs. Besides being a place for dog boarding, they also rescue dogs! They rescued my dog after he was found abandoned as a puppy and they provided his medical care and facilitated his adoption process. They’re very professional and thorough and if I ever need to board him, I know he’d be back in good hands!
