Annie sat for our cat, Tuna, over a long weekend. She was extremely kind and self-sufficient. When we arrived home, Tuna was relaxed and happy and our apartment was as clean and tidy as we had left it. Annie would be welcome to sit for us again any time, we'd highly recommend her.
I could not have asked for a better first experience with zeewoi! Jordan and Nataki were great at communicating from the very start, and they sent me pictures and updates every day. I didn’t have to worry for a moment that my cat Anya was feeling lonely because I could tell she warmed up right away, even though she’s usually quite shy! They also went above and beyond making sure my apartment was tidy for when I got home. So grateful and would definitely be honored for them to sit for me again any time!
Francesco has been taking care of my furry babies and my place while I'm away for well over a year now, and I couldn't appreciate him more. He is a joy to communicate with, and the most reliable person one could hope for. Being able to count on him while I'm traveling makes a world of difference, because I know I don't need to worry about anything while I'm away. Benny and Zumba love him and are very well taken care of. I know because I come home to two very relaxed and happy kitties. I am super grateful to have found Francesco!
Hannah and Joseph were so kind, so communicative, and clean! Kevin seemed so happy in all the photos they sent. Not only did they wash my sheets and towels they used (without my requesting it, simply out of the kindness of their hearts), they ALSO then put my fresh sheets on the bed! 🥹❤️ Such incredible sitters. 10 stars!
Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. I highly recommend Misti - I'll definitely be asking her to sit again!
Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Our house was immaculate when we returned, and we felt so fortunate to have such kind and loving people step in for us in our absence. Anyone would be super lucky to have them in their home.
Gwynn was wonderful! She was super communicative, flexible to come to our house beforehand to get oriented, and attentive to details. She connected with our pup, Scout, immediately and we felt so assured that he would be well cared for with her. We hope Gwynn can come stay again another time!
I was thrilled to have Courtenay as our sitter. We had a few last minute changes and she was very accommodating. She is a very pleasant, well spoken person who bonded very quickly with our dog, Pepe. We were in Europe and Courtenay keep us we’ll informed via internet, pictures and all. We came home to a clean house, a happy pet and a delicious pie she left for us in the refrigerator. You would be very pleased to have her as your sitter. Lucy Hottle
Wendy was great, she kept us updated on the dogs and all the fun she had hiking with them on the mountain. I returned home to a very tidy house. My dogs just loved her. I will definitely have Wendy sit for me again and would be very lucky to have her do a sit for you.
Julian and Susan were amazing, we came home to happy healthy creatures and a clean, tidy home and yard. They communicated with us during our vacation, both about anything unusual and just to let us know when things were going well (as they were the majority of the time). They are very adaptable and capable people, I highly recommend them for your home and pet needs.

Kathy and Ron have sat for us several times in the past and have always been excellent. They are our "go-to" pet and house sitters and we always check their availability before we post a sit. They are trustworthy, organized, communicate very well, and take great care of our cats and our house. We hope they will continue pet sitting for many years to come!
Young was the perfect house sitter for us. From the moment you meet her, you can tell she is animal person and is detailed oriented and will take great care of your house and pets. She exudes a peaceful and grounded energy. She was comfortable with each our pets from the high energy dog to the shy skittish cat. She played with the dog in the yard every day and took him on walks. And she was also very attentive to our cats and figured out how to maintain the equilibrium in the relationship between the cats and dog. She is an excellent communicator; she asked questions when our directions weren't clear and kept us updated on the pets. She is also an amazing photographer. She sent us pics of our pets every day that totally captured each of their personalities.
Kimberly was a wonderful sitter who watched our two cats for us while we were out. She was willing to come a day early to help acclimate herself with the animals, and this was exceedingly helpful in making sure the cats would be comfortable with her during our absence. I would highly recommend Kimberly if you're looking for a responsible, caring sitter.
strongly recommend Christine and Phil to housesit for your kitty. Our pets, Babbles and Cousin Eddy, and property, were in very good hands while we where away for two weeks. They had a fair amount entailed with two cats on different food and needs. Cousin Eddy, or Edoardo, is a barn cat we recently adopted. Eddy is very sweet and stays outside but hangs out the side door wanting to be petted and fed; Bubbles is an indoor cat. Both cats were spoiled by Christine and Phil! Christine and Phil were also very caring and attentive with the needs of our Airbnb guests. During the time we were away they kept us updated daily (including photos of the cats). When we came home, our house was perfect, with lovely fresh flowers, notes for us, and our cats had been well-cared-for. They are wonderful house sitters, and we highly recommend them. They were Five-star sitters of our house and cats!
Laura came across the country to sit for us. She arrived a day early and from the moment my pets met her our Lokie was smitten. We have one shy cat Luna and she was out and about on the first night. Laura kept us updated and shared her Adventures as well. We do live in a small hideaway of a town so seeing that she was able to enjoy herself was nice. We returned to a clean home, laundry done also, and very content pets. Lokie was sad for a few days as he missed his friend. We would recommend Laura as a sitter to anyone and would have her back again. 5 plus stars. ⭐
My husband and I are so grateful for Cendy staying with our ~1yr old cat for nearly a full month. We were nervous to leave her for so long but Cendy had Wilma literally eating out of the palm of his hand and snuggling with him in no time. Cendy was incredibly communicative with us and attentive to Wilma consistently for the entire duration of the sit which was such a relief and gave us the piece-of-mind needed to fully enjoy our trip. We returned back to an impeccably clean apartment and a very content kitty. For the first few days back Wilma was definitely looking around for Cendy, missing her buddy. We (and Wilma!) would welcome Cendy back any time, especially for a longer stay knowing how responsible of a sitter he was. Couldn't recommend enough!
I highly recommend Daniel as a pet sitter and house sitter! He took care of Pipa for over three months this winter and did an outstanding job. From the first day, it was clear that he had a genuine love for animals and a great deal of experience with pets. He was very attentive to his needs and always made sure he was comfortable, well-fed, and had plenty of playtime. In addition to his pet-sitting duties, Daniel also went above and beyond by processing my postal mail and keeping the house well-organized. He was very responsible and reliable, always arriving on communicating, putting the bins out, and watering the plants on time, and keeping me updated with photos and messages. I felt completely at ease knowing that my cat was in such good hands and that my home was well-cared for while I was away. When I returned from my trip, Pipa was happy, healthy, and well-adjusted, thanks to Daniel's excellent care. I would definitely hire him again and recommend him to anyone in need of a trustworthy, caring, and responsible pet and house sitter!
Catherine was a wonderful sitter for our 17 year old cat Zabba. She sent us pictures twice a day and kept us informed about Zabba’s daily activities. We came home to a clean home and would definitely recommend her as a pet/ house sitter. My only concern was that she doesn’t drive and with an older cat, I just prayed that Zabba didn’t need to go to the vet…. And he didn’t 🥰. We will ask her again for sure.
Chris was a fantastic cat sitter for our elderly and high maintenance kitty. Chris was the perfect combination of responsible and on top of her medication needs while also being calm and relaxed about her picky eating habits and the need to monitor her food and medication consumption. He was prompt, easy to get a hold of, responsible, and overall, a great sitter. I would definitely recommend him and most certainly hope to have him stay with her again.
Kristine was wonderful again as our local sitter from just down the street. The boys take to her like she is their best friend whenever she comes to sit with them. She sent us photos of them playing, relaxing, drinking water and eating so we knew they were well taken care of. The house and the cats were in excellent shape and excellent hands while we were away. It is wonderful that she enjoys the house and the cats so much and tells us so. Kristine comes with our highest recommendation! Thank you Kristine!
Is it better to board cats or leave at home?
Veterinarians advising to leave cats at home with a pet sitter who will stay overnight in your home, boarding is not recommended for cats as they are stressed in a new environment, you can find a sitter who will care for your cats and home overnight at Sittsy.
How much should you pay someone to watch your cat?
At least $20 per visit, per overnight watching in your home, otherwise you can find a free sitter at Sittsy.
What do people do with their cats when they go on vacation?
Inviting a cat sitter to your home, boarding the cat with a local business, asking a friend, family or neighbour to feed and check the well-being. The most efficient way to leave your cat during your vacation is with Sittsy cat sitters overnight, in this way, you will save cat sitting costs and make vacation not only for you but also for your cat sitter!
Comfy home dog boarding was the absolute best! At the beginning of my experience they were extremely helpful. Their communication is top notch and they were extremely flexible with my schedule. I also was receiving updates and able to ask for updates myself throughout the day as well! Everyone is so kind and accommodating. And to top everything off this was on Christmas and Christmas Eve! I would reccomend this boarding to anyone going to Disney but also to anyone in the area at all! They also did the cute wrapping paper trend and put a little Santa hat on my puppy ❣️
They did a fabulous job caring for Goober! They were super responsive when I was inquiring about the Disney daycare, and accommodated me picking him up on Christmas Eve when they were supposed to be closed. I got pictures throughout the day and he looked so happy! Would definitely recommend for anyone who wants great care for their pup :)
My three little fur babies boarded for three nights at Comfy home dog boarding. I was super nervous on my way to drop them off because it was somewhere new. My anxiety was calmed so quickly when I stepped inside with them. The employees were so incredibly nice and you could tell they were going to take extra good care of my babies. Every day I got photos of them and they brought a smile to my face to see them having such a good time. I will definitely be returning, thank you for taking care of my fur babies.
We were visiting Disneyland and we called very last minute and were able to accommodate our fur baby Archie right away. We never leave him anywhere but at Comfy Home dog boarding they made him feel like home. They updated us with messages and pictures throughout the day and keep us with a peace of mind. If you need care for a loving pet I highly recommend them . Thank you for your care !!!
Moving to a new city definitely was hard to comb through finding a new place for our dogs to stay at if we travel. Thankfully we saw Comfy Home Dog Boarding. When we saw the place, it was so clean and pretty. Then, we booked 10 days for the boys to stay. Comfy Home Dog Boarding sent us pics and updates on our boys and we really appreciate it especially since we'd miss them. The boys were also spoiled with lots of time out in the backyard, lots of pets and treats (they even made a dog friendly thanksgiving meal, so cute!). We also really liked that they set up the place exactly like a home where the dogs can roam around and really feel at home. They were also friendly and communicate to us very well. We're happy with how the dogs were treated and we'll be back! We definitely recommend this place!
I booked Meadow for 2 full days with pick up and drop off. Comfy Home Dog Boarding were very accommodating. Their hours allow us to enjoy full days at Disney. They sent me photos of Meadow through the 2 days. It looked like she had a great time. I would definitely recommend Comfy Home to anyone and will use them again!
We had an excellent experience with Comfy Home Dog Boarding! Right from the start, Lizzie was super helpful and kind! She gave us a tour of the home and made sure we felt comfortable before we left. Throughout the day, we got pictures and updates which was so nice getting that peace of mind! Berto also assisted in taking care of our dogs and was also very friendly and gave our dogs great care! He reached out to arrange a pick-up time for our doggos, and was super responsive and flexible. Would definitely recommend!
Araceli and her team are awesome! She offers a regular 8hr daycare and a “Disney Doggy Daycare” from 7am to park closing which allows you to “rope drop” Disney and stay the WHOLE day if you really want to maximize your day! She’s also VERY flexible with pickup/drop off times! Comfort Home Dog Boarding isn’t like a regular commercial doggy daycare where there’s basically an unlimited amount of spots open. Araceli makes sure there’s a good ratio of her team members to dogs so there’s always supervision and makes sure all dogs that are taken in are dog friendly to prevent any incidents. She also is really thorough and makes sure all dogs she takes in are up to date on their vaccinations and she sends updates with pictures to you about your fur babies. Comfort Home Dog Boarding is THE place for us to bring our dogs for doggy daycare in OC!
Review of Comfy Home Dog Boarding I highly recommend Comfy Home Dog Boarding. We have been delighted with their Daycare and Boarding of our puppy for our Disneyland Days! This charming home is a true gem for dog lovers wanting to keep their dogs happy and secure. From the moment we arrived, it felt like home. The owner, who is passionate about dogs, greeted us with warmth and enthusiasm that instantly put my mind at ease. The environment is cozy and inviting, with plenty of room for dogs to play and relax. I loved seeing the personalized attention each pup received. The staff takes the time to get to know each dog’s personality and needs, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and happy. During daycare, my dog had a blast socializing with other dogs and participating in fun activities. I appreciated the regular updates and photos throughout the day, which showcased just how much fun he was having! When it came time for boarding, I felt completely confident leaving my dog in their care. He had a spacious, comfy area to rest, and I could tell he was well-loved while I was away. Comfy Home Dog Boarding is exactly that a home away from home, making it a wonderful choice for anyone seeking quality care for their furry family members. If you’re looking for a nurturing, friendly place for your dog, this is it!
This was the first time I leave my dog Cami anywhere. She’s either always with me or my family. However, certain plans changed and I had to look for someone to help take her in for the day while my family and I enjoyed our day at Universal. I found Comfy Home Dog Boarding on google and decided to look into them. After reading all the reviews I gave them a call. They took my baby in last minute and provided me with reassurance that they’d look after her. She’s never been around other dogs in general so I was a little nervous about leaving her. They are exactly who they show to be! They sent me updates of her and showed me how much she was being loved. I highly recommend this place for anyone who’s either leaving their fur baby for the first time somewhere other than with family or just in general honestly!! 10/10 experience and if it ever comes to needing someone to look after my girl I will definitely be coming back! Thank you so much to the team for all that you did for her!
Brought my girl here for one night while we went to Disneyland. They were very transparent over the phone and very friendly/efficient in person. All their kennels are outside and the dogs spend the majority of the time in the large outside play area. My dog came back to me happy and healthy! Thanks Paw In Order team!
DO NOT under any circumstances leave your dogs here. The website is entirely inaccurate. They are NOT an indoor facility. The employees leave at around 4 PM and the dogs are left alone for around 17 hours until the next morning. Again, NO ONE IS THERE. DO NOT COME HERE. The business practices should be investigated. Will absolutely be reporting.
I like this place so much I continue using them for boarding even though I moved to LA. They took care of my boy during part of his cancer treatment where I was terrified to leave him and treated him like a king. They were also so sweet when I called a million times to check on him. Brittany and the staff here are incredible and I’m so grateful to have a safe place I trust for my pup when I have to leave town. I’ve already recommended this place to several of my friends who also had positive experiences. Highly recommend!!
I’ve been bringing my incredibly dramatic (and often difficult) frenchie here since she was a pup and honestly wouldn’t trust taking her anywhere else. Britt and her team are always so accommodating of my dog’s needs. They make sure she gets the special attention and playtime that she requires! I always go out of town knowing that my dog is in good hands. Can’t thank Paw in Order enough for their patience love and TLC time and time again.
They are the best. Been going there 4 years and the staff is very caring. I use the daycare, boarding and grooming and I have always been satisfied. Now that its hot I will drop off my pooch off even when I dont need to because they do water play and she loves it and the other dogs so much! Highly recommend.
I wanted to like this place, but I never felt at ease leaving my dog there. When she stayed overnight for 3 days they neglected to give her the two medications that she was on despite them reassuring me they are great at administering medication. When I questioned why it was not done they brushed it off and did nothing to reassure me something like that wouldn’t happen again. I would recommend going anywhere else for dog boarding needs!
They are great with my Dog (Clyde) and have a very friendly staff with reasonable prices! When I go out of town, they are who I trust with my best friend.
Loved every minute of Paw and Order....and so did my pups. They would not stop telling all about it. (Happy tippytaps and huskyish whines.) The crew is top notch and genuinely care for the pups they watch as the morning crew remembered my pup from months ago, outta all the ones they watch, she remembered mine! Definitely a diamond in the rough!
It was our first time leaving our dog with anyone overnight. She was nervous when we dropped her off, but she was groomed and happy and the next day. Prices were fair, and the facility was clean. We would definitely take our dog again.
Friendly, capable, and trustworthy. My dog is typically reactive and anxious around other dogs, but the staff here understand how to manage him and only has him interact with dogs he’s comfortable and polite with. Despite his reactivity, he has a great time at Paw in Order thanks to the care and dedication of the staff.
Toni is my absolute first choice for dog sitting! Our family highly recommends her and will never use anyone else if we can help it. My dog Sophie has separation anxiety and immediately made herself right at home. Toni spoils Sophie and all her furbabies with tons of love, walks, and play as if they were her own. She is great with accommodating special requests/needs such as diet and medication too. When we go on vacation, Sophie does too, with Toni. Seriously, you have to see it to believe it. Also, we appreciate the photos that Toni sends of Sophie while we're away! Look no further! Book with Toni!
I was in a bind when everyone else was booked so I called paw envy resorts they were very friendly and professional when i returned to pick up my pooch he was very happy I will b bringing him here from now on
Very trust and friendly place
I researched so many places to board our furbaby and I am so glad we found Passionate 4 Pets. Linzy is an absolute angel and our baby fell in love with her from day 1. The love and care she took of Daisy went above and beyond anything we could have hoped for. From the pick up of Daisy to drop off everything was perfect. Absolutely worth the money for the 24 hour attention Daisy received. I could go on and on but if you want to go on vacation without worrying about your furbaby Passionate 4 Pets is the best place to go.
Our pups have had great treatments there in both Santa Ana hospital & CC Costa Mesa location.
I have been taking my dog Stella to Wags since she was a puppy. She will be 13 years old this month and still loves going and seeing all her favorite staffers. I always know she is well taken care of. Clean facility, have cameras online I can see and just all around caring for the pups.
My Shih Tzu , Yogi, has been going to Wags n Wiggles Doggy Day Care in Tustin for 2 years and he just loves it there. The staff is friendly, caring and very professional in watching over him. I believe you can’t find no better place than Wags n Wiggles in Tustin.
We have been taking our 2 1/2 year-old Golden Retriever to wags and wiggles for about a year and a half. Our dog is super social and loves daycare. Wags and wiggles has been amazing for daycare and boarding, all the staff are super well trained, very helpful and communicative. Our dog loves it there and runs right in every time we drop him off. Love that you can add on walks and baths to boarding reservations. We have been to other daycares in the area, but none are as professional and well trained staff as wags and wiggles.
My fur baby could not be happier. The staff are very knowledgeable and he is having so much fun meeting new friends. Thank you so much!
Today was my puppy's first day of training and it was a great experience. Upon arrival, we were greeted and provided clear instruction about where we needed to go. The class trainer, Jordyn, was very personable and provided a lot of excellent instruction as well as advice on issues that I'm currently having challenges with. I love that Wags offers so many training class opportunities to meet all of our needs. Additionally, my 2 previous dogs thoroughly enjoyed daycare here (Goliath's report card was ALWAYS full) and I'm positive that Scout will love it here just as much. I love how clean and orderly the environment is here. My last Lab, Goliath, had a compromised immune system and epilepsy. He came to daycare regularly and we never had any issues. Additionally, the staff demonstrated that they knew exactly what to do if he had a seizure. I would not hesitate to continue to bring all of my dogs here.
Trainer was very patient & expressed that she wanted everyone including the dogs to have a wonderful experience in the tunnels class. The class was enjoyed by all. Thank you
So impressed! The owner Renee is was so kind to answer all of my questions on the phone. Our temperament test was a great experience and once again she was so thorough and patient with us. We are excited to start our group obedience!
Took my 2 dogs to a Meet & Greet at Wags & Wiggles today. My husband and I were impressed with the personnel and the cleanliness and size of the facility. The staff appears to be well trained, organized, and helpful. Our tour guide was particularly keen to our needs and desires. We are excited to take our dogs to their first day experience at Wags & Wggles.🐾💙🐾💝
Our dog has been going here occasionally for almost a year. They’re the only daycare in the area that we wholeheartedly trust. Why is that? I’ll explain: - The staff seems like they’re happy to be there and not in a cringey, forced-corporate way. - Our boy earned an adorable nickname there which we’ve come to refer to as his daycare alias and all of the staff seem to remember him by that name - We always try to schedule at least 72 hours ahead and we’ve always been able to schedule a bath and nail trimming for him which saves us a lot of time Overall, we know that our dog is a lot to handle, but they have proven that they know how to work with him
Our dog LOVES going to wags and wiggles. He absolutely LOVES the staff and knows where the play room is. It gives us peace of mind when we have to go out of state and leave our dog with Wags and wiggles. They have many services to keep the dogs enriched while boarded and if you want to drop by and do a 1 day activity or training. We are so glad our dog enjoys them!
This review is long overdue. Jonathan and Melissa, the owners of Paws at Play, are the most caring and loving people I have ever met. They have gone above and beyond to care for my two fur babies and have treated them as if they were their own pets. My dogs boarded with them this weekend and for the first time in my life, I was able to enjoy a weekend away without having to worry about the well-being and status of my pets. Melissa sent me lovely text messages and status reports alongside beautiful videos of my dogs playing and lounging. As a result, I was able to relax and enjoy a weekend away. My dogs have also enjoyed attending day care. I wanted to personally thank you Melissa and Jonathan for treating my babies like they were a part of your family. Lastly, the place is extremely clean and well maintained. When you walk in you can tell that immense time and effort is put in to keep the place sanitized and clean. It is easy to book appointments on their website and you get confirmation text messages that remind you of your upcoming booked appointments, check-in and check-out notifications. Thank you once again Melissa and Jonathan for everything and for assisting me in taking the dogs and their overnight bags back to my car today. It is evident that the dogs love you and are being cared for by professional experts. My babies will be boarding with you again in the near future. 🤍 In terms of recommendations for those that are extremely overprotective about their pets, I would highly recommend Paws at Play as this is the only place I trust to protect and love my babies the way I do.
Best daycare for pups. They care so much for our dogs that sometimes my girls don’t want to leave. The owners stay with them overnight and always are quick to respond to inquiries and reservations.
Wonderful experience with a truly caring and passionate staff. Zoey became very comfortable quickly as the staff made sure she felt welcomed and at home. The environment is sparkling clean and there is a spacious and clean play area. She left with new best friends - both the staff and the doggy guests
As a musician whose life is always on the move, the thought of adding a puppy to the ensemble was met with trepidation. Enter "Paws At Play," the magnum opus in dog boarding, orchestrated by the maestros Melissa and Jonathan. Sir Riley, my canine companion, has found more than a mere boarding facility; he's discovered his second family. The dedication Melissa and Jonathan show towards their four-legged guests is nothing short of a masterclass in care and affection. They don't just look after Riley; they cherish him, fostering a bond that resonates deeply with his joyful spirit. The crescendo of Riley's excitement is palpable each time we approach "Paws At Play." It's a testament to the love and excitement that awaits him beyond those doors. For a pup who once cowered at the sight of other dogs, the transformation has been remarkable. Under the gentle guidance of Melissa and Jonathan, Riley has blossomed into a social butterfly, eager to mingle with his furry peers. "Paws At Play" isn't just a place where Riley stays; it's where he thrives. Surrounded by friends and endless play, he receives a level of nurturing that's unique to this haven. It's a place where every dog is treated like a headliner, ensuring their time in the spotlight is as enriching as it is enjoyable. In the grand orchestra of dog daycares and boarding facilities, "Paws At Play" is the virtuoso that stands out. Their unparalleled service, the harmony of their care, and the harmony of their love for dogs compose an experience that's truly second to none. Choosing "Paws At Play" for your dog's home away from home isn't just a good decision—it's the best gift you could give your pet.
My pet has been going to Paws at Play for the last year and we love it! The staff is incredible and super friendly. We always receive a text update with video clips about my pet's stay. Paws at Play are super accommodating and very flexible. Great website and easy to get boarding confirmed. My pet always comes back tired from all her play time here. 10/10 would recommend
We have been taking our small dog here for a few months now. The staff are great!! They get to know the dogs and care for the dogs so well. My sweet boy loves coming here and he is always tired when we get home! I highly recommend this doggy daycare if you're in the area.
Supremely clean, very loving atmosphere, individual kennels and group play areas segregated by size and temperament. Nightly video updates when boarding. Worth every penny knowing your pup is well cared for in your absence.
Recently started taking my 1 year old dog here and I must say it has been the best experience ever! The owners, staff, and trainer are the nicest people and make me feel comfortable leaving my dog for day care. I can tell they are very passionate about dogs and providing the best care possible. It makes me so happy knowing my dog has a safe, fun, and awesome place to play with other dogs and let out his endless energy! I highly recommend Paws at Play for anyone looking for a reputable and great dog care facility.
Paws at Play OC is my puppy’s (her name is Summer) home away from home. Melissa and Jonathan, Founders, Owners, and onsite lead staff, of Paws at Play, are true dog lovers, who care for Summer as if she were their own. It is evident in every facet of the Paws at Play Experience, that they are engaged in a labor of love, not just a business. Their staff are handpicked for having the same ethic. As a I am a busy professional, Summer goes to daycare at Paws at Play 4-5 days per week. I cannot say enough positive things about the care Summer (and I) receive from Paws: -Excellent, timely, appropriate communication regarding booking, pricing, drop off and pick up… -Ease of booking and payment. -Ease of drop off/pick up. -Clean, sanitary, well-kept, new, well-ventilated, safe facilities. -Minimal time in kennels; lots of time in covered, well-ventilated, outdoor yard areas. -Lots of play time and exercise with other dogs of appropriate types. -Appropriate grouping of dog types. -Appropriate supervision. Melissa and Jonathan go above and beyond in caring for their clients: -Accommodating me for Summer’s daycare evaluation, on short notice. -Assisting with booking Summer’s stays. -Accommodating my sometimes very early or late drop offs/pick ups (due to work). -Special requests for Summer, including texted videos and updates. -Suggesting great quality, nutritious food, which Summer now eats full time. And more. In short, if you are looking for a fur baby daycare, that is: safe, clean, fun, well organized, and run by ethical pet parents and dog lovers, look no further. I could not recommend Paws at Play more. Take your fur baby there. You won’t regret it.
This owner and family take the best care of our precious pup. It provides us peace of mind when we are away.
One of the best groomers birdie has had! As a Pomeranian her double coat is tricky and she was super matted when we arrived. The shop is lovely with a cute outdoor patio to enjoy some coffee in the sun while waiting. Staff and owners are super friendly and reassured me that Birdie was in perfect hands. Within 1.5 hours Birdie came out super soft and untangled. I’ll definitely becoming back!
I have brought my puppy Wallace here for his haircuts, and before that had my Maltese groomed here too! The owner is always very nice and helpful. My Wallace comes back to me looking cute as ever and always happy! Highly recommend ❤️
Update : the staff really makes a difference. Sierra is so happy to show up to house of paw and the staff clearly loves their job. Thank you for taking care of our lovely family member. The staff at House of Paw is so nice, I love bringing Sierra here. In addition to boarding my pups here, I bring her in for grooming… and she came back beautiful 💜
They were nice accepting walk in .. my two dogs came back not smelling nice .. almost same as I dropped them of.. they didn’t trim well their hair .. and they nails were almost as it is .. really disappointed … I was in a rush to pick them up to get back home.. I wish I had time to discuss this with them .. I don’t recommend this place
House of paw is the best! My dog Oreo gets very nervous going to the groomers but he always comes out super happy. Thank you house of paw for taking care of my fur child so well. 😍 …
My doggy came back smelling fresh with a nice trim. This is my 3rd time grooming my doggo with them and the last 2 times they’ve cut my dog’s hair right on the snout making him look weird. This time I told them not trim right on the top of his snout and he looks infinitely better than the last.
I have been taking my fur baby (Sweetie) to the House of Paw for several years now. My girl is older, and is going blind & deaf. The House of Paw has always taken great care of Sweetie. They have always been friendly & accommodating. I know that she’s in good hands, and don’t have to worry. I want to give a shout out to Gabriel. He is always friendly, and makes sure Sweetie is given the utmost care and TLC, no matter how busy he is.🙂 The groomers make sure she is safe and secure, and feels comfortable. She always looks shiny and beautiful when I pick her up.🐶 There have been several times where I have had to jump on a conference call at work, and they have kept Sweetie a little longer, so that I don’t have to worry about rushing back to pick her up (without charging me extra). I have always appreciated this. I have always had great experiences at House of Paw, and the staff are always friendly.
I love being at this place. The owners, especially the dad are very welcoming and nice. They treat all dogs super nicely and make sure they are enjoying their stay at house of paw. The owners have worked with rescues and are so sensitive towards keeping all dogs safe and happy.
Dallas loved his yime at House of Paw. The staff was kind and attentive. Dallas looked great and was so shinny!
This was the second time we boarded our dogs at House of Paw. Scout and Tonka were happy and excited to get there. The whole staff was absolutely great with my dogs and you can tell that it's more than just a job to them, ( thanks Gabriel ). Both times we also used their grooming facility, and they are top notch. We are happy to have found this place.
We have been bringing our 7 month old Doberman puppy Ruby to Camp Bow Wow since she was 4 months old. She absolutely loves going to “school” weekly. The staff are so friendly and caring. Ruby enjoys all the activities and socializing… especially the bubbles! We recently boarded her for 3 nights and she did so well for her first time away from mom and dad! I highly recommended Camp Bow Wow Anaheim!
Camp Bow Wow is a great place for my dog to play with other dogs in a safe and caring environment. He can play as much as he wants, instead of being locked in a cage most of the day. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the facility doesn't seem to have been deep cleaned lately and smelled pretty bad. My dog came home smelling bad, too. Had to wash him right away. But even with that, I will definitely use Camp Bow Wow again!
Been coming here since our dog was 8 months old. She's now 4. We love it! Never had any issues, our dog loves it! All the campers and staff are great they love and care for our dog and it shows.
I love this daycare. They have made me feel soo welcome since moving back here. They are very supportive, friendly, professional and my dog absolutely loves it there.
My dog loves going to Camp Bow Wow.The staff is great . They really care about the dogs in their care. Watching the dog play on camera is fun. I have also boarded her and I was very happy with the care given to her.
My dog, my baby Benji loves Camp Bow Wow! He’s attended daycare and boarded with Camp bow wow quite a few times. We have not have any issues and are able to view Benji during daycare on their camera app which is amazing. He seems like he has a great time every time :) What I like about most and think is important is that Camp Bow Wow does NOT discriminate against certain breed (pitbulls) like many many other dog daycares. That is just wrong. Camp bow wow will conduct an interview first which is really fair. Thank you for that! My dog is a such loving and friendly dog. He loves to socialize with other dogs and it breaks my heart that he was discriminated against by other daycares because he is a mixed pitbull breed. I’ve even been asked by other daycares to have his paperwork changed from “pitbull mixed” to “black mouth curr mixed” so they can accept him since they feel he is such a sweet dog upon the interview. I will never do such a thing. Thank you Camp bow wow for your great ethically policies! Benji loves it here!
We love Camp Bow Wow for our dog. Everyone is so wonderful and friendly and their service is exceptional.
What can we say? We LOVE Camp Bow Wow in Anaheim and recommend this location any time someone asks about doggy day care or boarding services. The staff here are amazing and genuinely care about the pets. We love that they even embrace the holidays with silly costumes, giving out treats and seem to have fun with bubbles and water for the dogs. They started recognizing our dog and welcome us with a friendly hello. Our dog can then be seen prancing to the back to go play with his daycare friends. He loves it here! Our dog is a husky shepherd mix and we have taken him here for daycare and boarding. The staff do their absolute best to keep him clean and having fun. We especially like that there are cameras to watch your pet.
I will start by saying the staff has been extremely polite and communicative during this whole process, but there are a lot of issues with their daycare rules. I got a phone call from them informing me that my dog was separated from the others for having fleas. I told them that my dog is on prescribed flea medication and I have paperwork to prove it, but they said "it's the rules". The daycare offered a complementary flea bath, where I was called again by staff and told that my dog was covered in flea bites "all over his back, butt and legs". I freaked out and immediately picked him up and took him to the vet. The vet looked him over and said he could not find any flea bites at all and that because my dog is on prescribed flea medication, if there are any fleas it likely came from the daycare itself. I talked to the daycare about this but they said it's policy to quarantine any dog that they see a flea on him/her, which seems absurd considering how easily fleas can jump from dog to dog. I send my dog to daycare because he's extremely social and loves to have a full day playing with other dogs, not so that staff can suddenly put him alone in a box all day when they find "flea bites" all over him.
My dog is a member of our family, and her care is of the highest importance to us as a family. She was abandoned as a puppy and found running with her pack in the Mt. Baldy area. We adopted her and she's always had a sense of abandonment issues, so she was instinctively nervous at first when I took her to Camp Bow Wow in Anaheim, but the staff were fantastic. They brought her into a pen and introduced other dogs little by little so she would not be so overwhelmed. She was having lots of fun with the other dogs. She will be spending a few days there next week in her first time ever being separated from us since we adopted her last year. I'm sure that the staff will take care of her like she was their own family member.
