Cat Sitting in Elmvale

We were understandably apprehensive about leaving our home and animal in someone else's care but Carolyn and Jeff were absolutely the BEST experience we could've asked for. Our 110 pound Rhodesian Ridgeback, Bodhi, had a few special needs which Carolyn and Jeff handled as well as if he were their own. It's always a little nerve-racking to leave your fur-baby behind (especially when you fall into the "dog crazy" category) and Carolyn and Jeff were amazing at alleviating those fears. We had confirmed their stay three months out and their communication leading up to the visit was phenomenal; we really got to get a great feel of each other during that time. I had invited them to come get settled in the night before, have them over for dinner, and get to know one another and it turned out to be a great dinner party with lovely guests. Even when they pulled up in our driveway I felt that I could already trust them as we had such good communication prior to their arrival. So when we left the following day, it was a relief to know my dog and house were in good hands. While we were on vacation, they sent pictures of Bodhi daily (and sometimes more than once!), with regular updates on his eccentric and goofy behavior. They took him on two walks a day and had no issues feeding him his special raw food diet as well as his midday bones for teeth cleaning. When we got back from the trip the house was in great shape and I could tell my dog was not only relaxed but even missed his temporary guardians! As a very gracious and generous plus, Carolyn and Jeff left us some lovely flowers and a beautiful card. If we ever have a chance to use them again in the future I won't hesitate! We could not have wished for better or more trustworthy people.

Loved having Janet and Al take care of my puppy!. While I was overseas, they would take pictures of Aoife and go to McDonald’s and use the Wi-Fi to send them to me since I have no Wi-Fi – simply can’t afford it and do these mission trips. At My request they actually stayed overnight a couple of weeks before my petsit d/t they had two pets sets further south. Aoife warmed up to them immediately! They made sure they played ball with her and walked her every day, even though it rained a lot of the days they were here. She was well taken care of. I never worried the entire time I was overseas. My house was very clean when I got home and Janet left me little flower .arrangements and a wonderful dessert for me to enjoy! You will be completely satisfied having them pet sit for your beloved pet! I hope they come back again!!!

Patti and her husband were dream house sitters and looked after our dog beautifully and with care. It was so easy to hand over our house to them and not worry about our old dog while we were away. I would not hesitate to recommend them to others and they will be my first call when we travel next time. Love this service!!

We couldn’t have asked for better care for our pup. Kelly and Patrick provided a video chat before the visit and came to meet us in person before we left for our trip. We felt very relaxed knowing our pup was in good hands. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

This was Courteney’s second time staying with us but first time for an extended period of time. She communicated daily with us on how our dog and chicken were doing and updated us daily on what they got up too. She was flexible when our dates differed from the original set dates and communication was excellent from when we first agreed to have her come stay at our house. She is tidy took great care of our house including shovelling and taking the garbage out. I am sure the house was cleaner then when we left it. Our dog, Bella was sad to see her go and every time she goes outside she is hoping that someone will be as great as Courteney and play fetch with her- I think she misses her already! I would recommend Courteney to anyone looking for a kind, trustworthy responsible person to look after your pets. You and your pet would be lucky to have her.

It was an absolute pleasure to have Rayna stay at our home and take care of our little zoo. She communicated with us the whole time we were away, sharing adorable pictures of all our pets. We felt so good knowing that they were being so well taken care of. Heidi, our dog, fell in love with Rayna. She kept her busy with plenty of walks and hikes. Rayna also kept the house perfectly clean. If the opportunity ever presents itself, we would be grateful to have Rayna back again.

Five stars for Claire and Terry! They were wonderful, responsible, tidy, communicative and great company. My two boys settled in with them super fast and Terry even received the much-vaunted stamp of approval when Grimth decided to sleep on his feet at night. This is a big deal and should not be underestimated, as Grimth is very sparing with his sleeping honours. I highly recommend this pair for any of your housesitting needs.

Heather is by far above and beyond!!! It’s her second time with us and we’d have her back again and again!!! So responsible and my animals LOVE her! The big dogs had daily walks and dogs and cats received so much love!!! Thanks Heather!!! You’re the best!

Robert and Roberta were the ideal house sitters. They are clean, punctual, organized, and were very caring toward your dogs, home, and garden. Can't say enough good things about how safe we felt having this couple take care of our dogs.

It was great to have Nicole stay with our pets and look after our home - she took great care of both! She was very responsive and kept us up to date on things at home. She took our dog for long walks and would send photo updates! We'd be more than happy to have Nicole back again, and would definitely recommend her to other.
