Caring, Clean and Dependable Traveler Who Would Love To Take Care Of Your Home
Elizabeth was fantastic and we would absolutely have her again. She is a great communicator, checked with us if she wasn't sure, took good care of Lulu, and was overall wonderful.

I would higly recommend Rachel for pet sitting. She took great care of my elderly, highly social cat, who needs extra love and attention in addition to requiring daily medicine in her ears. She handled everything beautifully and sent me great updates throughout the week. I'd definitely invite her to sit for me again!

CONSCIENTIOUS, ACTIVE, LOVING, PET-CARER SEEKS NEW, FOUR-LEGGED FRIENDS
You are always a little bit nervous to leave the care of your house and pet to a stranger for two weeks but after talking to Reba on the phone.,I knew it would work out. She did an exceptional job house/pet/garden sitting for the two weeks she was here. Her communication was great. She always returned texts promptly and sent us texts with updates on a regular basis. This was our first sitter and Reba showed her experience by guiding us through the process. Our house was well taken care and it was cleaned throughly when we returned. This was much appreciated as we arrived back at 1 am after a long travel day. Our cat was well taken care of also and even warmed up to Reba as Sophia can be a little aloof. We also left the extra responsibility of taking care of our garden. She had to do some watering and with cold temperature, cover it also. Thanks to her for doing this. In conclusion, if you are lucky enough to get Reba to be your sitter. Jump on the opportunity. She was FANTASTIC!!

Responsible, considerate, and well-traveled couple seeking short and long stays
Lauren and Jeremy were wonderful house sitters. I would ask them back or recommend them without hesitation. They communicated clearly, and took wonderful care my pets, house and garden. They left the place cleaner than it started and generously offered to help in ways that I hadn't asked but that were very kind and thoughtful. I felt very comfortable with my animals and home in their care.

Digital Nomad Family Looking to Explore
Matt, Kimberly and their two children looked after our Cadence(Goldendoodle) for a little over 3 weeks. They were incredible, my neighbors loved them. I heard someone played the piano very well❤️. They sent us some beautiful photos of our baby being loved by them and the kids. I wanted them to feel at home and enjoy the Hobart 4th of July celebrations and I think they did. I had no stress leaving my home and dog with this beautiful family. The house was perfect when we got back! As if we'd never left, Cadence was in great shape but will miss them for sure. So many thanks to Matt and Kimberly for their kindness and generosity. I hope to see them again.

This is our second sit with Angie and we enjoyed having her. We were able to communicate easily and she appeared to remember the routine of our home. The house and our dog, Lucca, we’re both in great shape and ready to welcome us home. We are hoping for an opportunity to lure Angie and Sarah once again out of the cold to our Florida home.

Teacher/petsitter dreaming of making petsitting and traveling a reality!
When we select a sitter, we read every review in addition to conducting some sort of video interview. We really rely upon the experiences of past hosts, so that’s why I believe it important to be honest in this review. I love giving out 5 star reviews and do quite frequently, but I also need to share any less-than-positive experiences as well for those hosts who rely upon reviews such as we do. As such, I’m a bit ambivalent about writing this review of Katie, as there were some really good things Katie did while here. She is a lovely, energetic woman who responded immediately to the concerns I voiced to her during the time she watched our pets; however, the “negatives” we experienced speak to the heart of the importance of having a dedicated pet sitter. For the most part, our home was left tidy and neat – which is no small feat as ours is a large house and I appreciate the care Katie took in ensuring we walked into a clean home. That said, Katie failed to notice my dogs had urinated in both of their dog beds and on the floor of our downstairs office, which we believed happened in the first part of the sit and resulted in the downstairs smelling of stale urine. Further, because she didn’t notice the urine, my pets, when downstairs, had to either sleep on the bare floor or in wet beds, neither of which is a satisfactory option. Also, my dogs don’t generally urinate in the house as they have access to a doggie door, and this seemed more a sign of their distress or discomfort. I believe this incident was part of a larger problem I experienced with Katie and that was in the manner in which she approached this sit. I advertised dates of July 6 – July 22. We generally ask our sitters to come in a day or two early as to walk them through the schedule for both our animals and our many plants, as well as to give them time to get to know the animals and experience a little of the town we live in. We also provide a very detailed introduction and welcome guide which outlines our expectations. Katie came in late in the day on the 7th, without personal transportation, which necessitated us picking her up and then my neighbor taking her to a rental cart company the next day because we left very early on the morning of the 8th. This abbreviated introductory time didn’t allow us to fully prepare Katie for the sit and allowed for some apparent “misunderstandings.” The “issue” for me was for the first five days of our 13-day trip, Katie was away from the house for up to 13 hours at a time – leaving our two, older rescue dogs, who have some separation anxiety - alone and with an extended time between meals. It was clear Katie was using this opportunity to visit many of the beautiful areas which surround where we live – hence using our home as more of an Airbnb to vacation – than a house sit dedicated to caring for our animals. Our dogs are fine with being alone for up to six hours but even that, for multiple days in a row, is, frankly, distressing to our animals and to us, as owners. To Katie’s credit, when I called and brought her daily, extended time away to her attention and reiterated my wishes the dogs not be left for more than 6 hours, she changed her schedule and while still gone every day, capped her time away at six hours. And, as I said, she is cheerful and responsive; hence, the ambivalence is positing my concerns with this sit. I think if Katie is provided with very clear expectations prior to the sit and understands exactly what is needed and expected, she will absolutely deliver. For whatever reason, from the start, this sit was rushed, there appeared to be too many misunderstandings, and it ended up being frustrating for us in ways other sits have not been.

Lindsey was great! She left the house clean and organized and no concerns with that. My dog loved her and it went so well he didn’t have any behavior problems when I got back. Would definitely recommend and have her come back in the future.
I never met Joi because due to her work, she arrived after I left and was gone before I returned home. This wasn't a problem at all. She was very self-sufficient and seemed to find all that she needed in my house. The house looked exactly like I left it and my cat seemed very content when I returned. Apparently they had a nightly routine of Luna getting brushed. Joi is a very experienced sitter and it shows.
Kira was the best sitter we have ever had! I chose Kira because of her reviews, ability to sit during the dates I needed and willingness to communicate with my daughter/neighbor who co-parents Colby with us. I am always a bit anxious about having someone in my home and trusting them with our fluffy son. Kira put us at ease almost immediately. I received photos and videos everyday throughout the stay. I got updates on Colby’s activity and the fun they were having together. My heart felt full knowing that Colby was being well loved and cared for. Additionally, Kira was so kind to keep us posted on any deliveries that arrived at the house. Finally, when I arrived home, the house was tidy and clean! Again, I am so grateful that Kira was there keeping the house and my cat safe! I hope she will come back and sit again. I know Colby would love to see her again.
Someone was smiling down on us when Kevin and Mary clicked on our very first House Sitter advert. They are straightforward, pleasant, reliable and fun. They kept in touch about their own plans when their flights were delayed. They tactfully left the house when our own cancelled flights meant we were staying a few hours longer than first planned. They sent just the right amount of photos, videos and texts of our cat while we were away! We all loved that. And on our return, oh my word, the house fairies had been to visit! They somehow managed to walk the perfect line between improving everything, without interfering at all. Clean, tidy, replenished. They asked what food we’d like on our return and boy did they deliver! Home made bean stew :-) and different things for the children. Really kind and generous. Communication was clear and also witty..! They dealt with the churn of small mammals our “somewhat independent” cat brought through the flap without complaint. They are a really nice couple, exuding a lovely American warmth and charm. It was a real pleasure, Kevin and Mary, thank you.
Marianna was an incredible house sitter and cat sitter. She gave our property and sweet kitty top notch care. She is kind, easy to communicate with, thorough, etc. Would highly recommend her, you will not be disappointed.
Kathryn was a wonderful sitter for Princessa! She was flexible and communicative and took great care of my cat and home.
Nathalie and John were great! They were great house sitters to watch our two dogs, 2 geckos, our old cat and bull frog. Their two girls took good care of the animals as well. The house was exactly how we left it. We really appreciated their help!
Anna was a wonderful sitter for our furry friends. My dog, Luke, bonded with her and was sad when she left. My cats would crawl under the covers and curl up with her at night. She is a true animal magnet and lover. I highly recommend Anna to anyone who wants their pets to recieve first class love while away.
If you are looking for someone to take care of your fur babies and your house while you're away, Daniel is your guy! I had discovered zeewoi just a couple of weeks before I was to leave on vacation and I was not only apprehensive if the website was too good to be true, but also under a real time crunch. I reached out to over 100 local sitters and several possibilities fell through. I was confident I would find the right sitter and when Daniel applied for the sit and I started to text and converse with him, I knew I had found the perfect sitter for my two cats! Daniel was upbeat and positive, articulate and personable, warm and caring, and he asked all the right questions about Lilly and Eli (I hadn't had the time to complete my Welcome Guide, yet!?!). I shared that I had an easy cat and problem cat -- Lilly, who is sweet, social and eats dry food, and Eli who is skittish, was periodically pooping outside the kitty litter box and was eating prescription canned food twice a day mixed with a probiotic and stool firmer. I asked if he thought he was up for the job and he happily said he was. Since he flew all the was from Chicago, I thought the least my husband and I could do was pick him up at the airport. When he arrived, he pulled out his notebook. He patiently walked with me as I reviewed kitty care, showed him around the house, and where he would be sleeping. He immediately picked up Lilly who was excited about meeting her new friend and Eli bugged out and down the stairs to the basement (his favorite hiding place!). We got Daniel connected to the internet, set him up at our dining room table and headed off to airport, leaving our house and kitties in the best of hands. Daniel wanted to make sure I felt comfortable and assured while we were away. He made sure to text with me every other day (he had asked my preference earlier), sent photos of Lilly being her cute self while Eli hid during the day although he gave me assurances that he was eating his food and using the litter box (there were a few accidents, but Daniel never complained about these additional duties). When we returned from our vacation, the house was also spotless and well cared for and Daniel had even washed the sheets for me! It is with utter happiness and complete confidence that I recommend Daniel as a fantastic Sitter. He is trustworthy, responsible, caring, and competent, and you can rest assured that both your house and sweet pets will be watched over and treated with TLC -- and will truly be in the best of hands while you are away!
Oh wow! Everyone should be so lucky to have Nicholas and Veerle watch their house and pets. These lovely people are pros! They communicated early and often, were super accommodating to some last minute changes (it was originally going to be only our cats to watch but we decided to keep the dog home as well so that added to the schedule and care needs) and they left the house spotless and all set up for another sitter who came in after them. We didn’t get the chance to meet because my departure and arrival times but I dearly hope I get to in the future because they were just great! I even heard how nice they were from My neighbors who say them out walking our dog. :-) They also sent regular pictures of the pets which look like pro-photography! Cannot recommend this couple enough! Your pets and house will be in good hands!
Tracy was an ideal pet sitter when we left for 12 days. She was communicative, friendly, and most importantly took perfect care of our two cats and our house. I would highly recommend her for any sit!

Please make sure the groomer and you completely understand your request for your dog’s haircut. If you are not sure, please have them show you a photo of what to expect for what they are describing to do your dog. We had a BIG misunderstanding. They were very nice but I was devastated. I asked to have my Collie trimmed and a bit more under his tail. This is my second Collie over the past 18 yrs and have never experienced what happened there ever before.. My Collie was shaved down to 1 inch everywhere 😳. I was told by the breeder NEVER shave a Collie as it will ruin their coat. She has been breeding championship Collies for 40 years and is an AKC judge. This happened in Aug and finally in Nov he is stating to look more like a rough coat Collie. Here are photos of before and after.
I took my big cat to get a sanitary shave and nail clip. He has had a very hard time in the past with this, so I was a bit worried. But I didn’t need to! He was in and out in less than 10 minutes and they said he was a breeze! I’m so impressed! And the price was SO reasonable! Will be a customer for a long time now!
This is what $102 haircut with Allison looks like. I have spent the last couple weeks trimming all the hair that she missed. I’m guessing she rushed through the haircut and the clippers didn’t get all the hair and she did not check her work. I have spent the last couple weeks re-cutting my dog’s hair. I called the salon to address it because this is a new groomer to me (only second haircut) and my dog is almost 5 years old and has never been returned to me like this after being groomed. The receptionist, who answered the phone was quite nice and apologized and told me that they would either refund my money or Allison would redo it. When Allison got on the phone, she told me that she would have to bathe my dog to re-cut her hair and she would have to charge me for that. I said I will not be charged anything for you to fix the haircut that I already paid for that wasn’t done. She then told me that our mutual friend, who worked at the salon, told her the haircut looked nice that day, so everything should be fine. Then she argued that my dog had mats. Yes, my dog has curly hair and mats easily, but I asked her what do mats have to do with you not cutting all of her hair? She did not have a response to that. Allison was rude and aggressive, and wanted to argue with me. She even said “ I did a good job on your dog.” I wanted the haircut fixed, however I’m not going to bring my dog to someone who is rude, aggressive, and condescending. Why would I have any reason to believe you’re going to be nice to my dog? She refused to give my money back even though I was told that was an option when I spoke to the person before her. I told her I could post a review and pictures on google and her reply was “I don’t care, I have tons of clients and people on the internet who will back me up, so go ahead.” Since she challenged me to do that and stands behind this being a good haircut, please see for yourself. The owner Megan did call me and was nice and offered to recut my dog, however I don’t want to drive to another city to have that done and I don’t have trust in Allison to bring my dog back to her. I have filed a dispute with my bank and sent the pictures to them as well. I have no problems paying $100 for a good haircut. This, this I could have done myself and done a better job.
Sitting Pretty has been a staple of the community for years, and I have been going here with my dog for around a decade. You can expect friendly staff and decent prices for dog sitting as well as salon options. They even offer a very limited but decent selection of dog goodies at the front of the store for anyone just stopping by. Nothing on the scale of a pet store, but perfect for someone who wants to pick up a few treats for their little friend.
Kathryn did an amazing job for my pups first haircut! She came out looking like a new girl✨
I am disappointed by the nail trimming we received for our dogs. Was very rushed. 5 mins 2 dogs. Looking at their nails I'm not satisfied.
We have an Irish Wolfhound who we only have groomed once a year or so. The first place we took her to, right near our house, said she was too nervous and hard to handle unless we wanted to come monthly. So with trepidation, I made her grooming appointment with Sitting Pretty in Grand Haven, where we have done walk in nail grinds before. The difference in quality and experience was incredible. They thanked us for bringing her in, said she was a joy to groom, did a much better job trimming her hair and did it in half the time for less than half the price. They included all the extras like cleaning her ears and brushing her teeth, which the other place only offered for an extra charge so I did not have it done and still it was double the price. I cannot rave enough about Sitting Pretty. Thank you again!
Terrific and quick, safe way to have my dog’s nails trim/ dremel!
Friendly & Affordable services; I've brought my female (2yr.old)Husky in for a hair trim, brush, & blow out >>NAIL TRIM is Always included FYI*
I love how beautiful they always make my Aussie boys! I tried another place but went right back to sitting pretty! Reasonable. Clean. My dogs are always happy there!
This boarding facility is one of the best! The owner sees to it that your dog feels like it is living at home. I think that the rates are more than fair and the owner really works with you to make sure that drop off and pickup are convenient! Will continue to use. 👍 …
My dog loves Calli and Patty! He has so much fun there and always comes back so happy (which isn't the case with another dog boarding place we had sent him). They work with my schedule for pickups and drop-offs. They've always gone above and beyond for us.
Camp canine has been a wonderful experience for my dog and me. Callie is great, so flexible with my work schedule, kind to my dog and very responsive. Initially there was a waitlist and I hadn’t heard back, but things have been smooth sailing since. I am so happy we started my puppy here, she has been going now for 8 months or so and has become more social with other dogs and people. I love it.
Kali watched my Ozzy over the Christmas weekend and during the storm. She promptly responded to our requests for info on how my boy was doing. She even took him home with her. He was happy and content when I picked him up! I will definitely use her again when I visit Grand Haven next time!
My dog has come to Camp Canine many times, and I always know she is safe and receiving lots of love. Zoe loves it! Calli is always professional and has all the dogs’ best interest in mind. Highly recommend.
Callie and Patty are the best. I highly recommend them. Outstanding care for your babies and cute rooms for them.
Callie and Camp Canine is the best!! Our dogs are excited to go see her and are always so happy! We have trusted her for years! 💓 …
Incredible professionalism. Cali is the biggest animal lover I have ever met. She ensures impeccable safety to the animals in her care. You'll never find better.
I cant get any response from them. I have been trying to contact them now for weeks. I have called multiple times which is always sent to voicemail and I have emailed them multiple times with no response. I'm not sure if they are just not accepting new customers or what but I have not been able to get ahold of anyone at this company. Either way I'm marking this company off my list of doggie daycare options.
Calli loves dogs and does a great job. She's taken care of my dog when I'm nearby, and I couldn't ask for better service.
Took koda to get groomed today from Adriana Marie Sanchez at Adriana’s Pampered Pets..was a bit nervous he doesn’t do well getting groomed. Huge baby🍼 Adriana was so good with him and super patient, best he’s ever looked and he smells so good. His track record remains intact he acted a fool like usual, knocked over a table, got in a few wrestling matches but Adriana some how got him looking great ! Thank you! If you’re looking for a spot to take your dogs go to Adrianas Pampered Pets
My Charlie has Never been Cleaner, Than when he comes home from Pampered Pets. Other Groomers left his ears dirty. He loves going there, when I turn in the driveway he starts whimpering and crying. He can't wait to get out of the car and go in.
Absolutely love this establishment! Groomers really care about our fur babies and do an excellent job! No place better.
They were the best with my fur baby! I tend to be a helicopter mom and very picky when it comes to dropping of my baby. All I can say is amazing and perfect. They were so good to her! She came home so happy and you could tell she felt good! Definitely recommend this place!!
The team at Pampered Pets gave my Great Pyrenees a fantastic grooming! He is a rescue that had probably never been groomed before and needed a lot of work; they took the time to really clean him up, keep him happy, and make him look terrific. I'll definitely be back!
I LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH! We have a goldendoodle and they do such a good job with her! Megan is very good! They allow the dogs to roam the grooming area, except where customers come in, and get along with each other and it's so great to see all the different breeds getting along. So great we arent going anywhere else! New owner but still very great!
The best place in town!! This is the best grooming facility I’ve been to. It is clean, excellent groomers and friendly atmosphere. Hugs from Maya Scott!!
Those who know me, know I do not give false praise, Pampered Pets earned this rating! While traveling with my companion of the past 17 years, she found herself in need of a grooming. I texted a friend in the area, shouted out to my Facebook friends from the local area, and called another groomer booked solid until 16 May—they could not do anything for me. Next, I called Pampered Pets and let them know my 17-year-old fur baby needed a full service. They were booked solid too (why shouldn’t they be – they are an amazing full-service doggie daycare and groomer), but they said to give them a couple of hours to see if they could work me in. I should mention I was only in town visiting family for two more days. As promised, they called back after their noon rush was complete and were able to accommodate us first thing this morning. They were gentle and my Eskie looks beautiful. I highly recommend them to all my friends and family in the Tri-City area and I believe they are expanding their services, so give them a call and let them take care of your pampered pets too.
They did a beautiful job on my Shih Tzu! She looked adorable! They did a thorough grooming and frankly, the best grooming that my girl ever received. I was very happy and they are now our new groomer. The staff is very professional, kind, and compassionate.
I won't take my dog any where else! I have taken him to another local groomer and was disappointed and over charged. The owner, Shelly, has a great attention for detail which I appreciate. When I pick my dog up he actually looks groomed and is clean as well as smells amazing. Shelly and her team love animals and it shows!
