I can wholeheartedly recommend Guillaume and Eve as petsitters. I felt very confident leaving my two dogs, cat and chickens in their capable hands. They are very friendly and easy to communicate with, sending us regular updates everyday and responding whenever we contacted them. Our dog Dexter had been to the vets the day before they arrived with a sudden growth, so had some medications to take, which was all taken care of by G and E. Agathe & Yohannes looked after our cat Ronja for almost a month and we couldn't be happier! They were super communicative before and through out the stay and we knew all the time that our cat were in good hands. They left our apartment in perfect condition and it was lovely to come back from our trip to a clean home. They also took good care of our plants even it was hot days in Helsinki! Thomas and his mother came the day before I went away to get to know our animals. As this was a short sit he only had sole care of them for just over a day. (my husband came home late the next night.) During the sit Thomas did ask to stay an extra day, which we were happy to do, so over all they stayed four night with us. Thomas is very friendly and speaks good English. Sophie had lots of good walks with him. He clearly likes animals and did well with our two large goats. Katy, Cedric, Mila and Elodie area a fantastic family that took really good care of all our beloved pets. They strived to make all of them feel comfortable and loved, and kept us always informed of their whereabouts sending us pictures and texts. You could really see that the whole family won the hearts of our pets. They also kept the house super clean and organised. We were even greeted with a super tasty vegetable soup on our return home, which we enjoyed very much. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of a caring, reliable and responsible pet sitter.

Lauriane & David were wonderful house/pet sitters. We had a video chat with them a couple of months before the sit and knew right away they were going to be a good fit. We were happy to have supper with them the day before the sit and put them up overnight in the guest bedroom. It gave us time to show them the house, meet our cat and get to know them more. They obviously had read the Guide Book beforehand and asked great questions. Our cat, Rascal, took to them immediately and we felt very comfortable leaving him in such great hands. They were great communicators and we really loved getting daily pictures or short videos of Rascal. We came back to a very clean and tidy house, and a lovely note with a drawing of our cat on the front (sketched by Lauriane)! They were truly lovely to interact with and we would highly recommend them for house/pet sitting.

Audrey really bonded with Dicey and he seemed very happy and comfortable in her presence. She is definitely a cat person and we felt at ease as soon as we met her. She sent us constant updates with cute photos at meals and playtime. We came home to a very happy boy! Our house was spotless upon our return which we really appreciated as well. It was cleaner than when she arrived. We did have an issue at the start of the stay where Dicey was let out and lost which caused us extreme anxiety and stress while we were overseas and powerless to help. To her credit, Audrey followed all of our instructions to leave the front door open for him and stayed up the entire night waiting for his return. She also spent hours looking for him before it got dark. Her response to this crisis was timely, responsible and efficient and we managed to get him back. Mistakes do happen and cats are extremely smart so we are still happy with the housesit, but feel like it’s important to mention that there’s no harm in leaving very clear and specific instructions and perhaps changing certain rules while you’re gone (we normally allow our cat on the deck with us which is how this happened). Thank you again for looking after our baby.

Cynthia was a perfect pet sitter for our little kitty. We knew from her extensive experience with cats that Nala was in good hands. She was extremely responsive via texts when we were away, ensuring us that the 2 of them were having a great time. She went absolutely above and beyond by scrubbing our bath and toilets to remove our mineral deposit rings that we haven't been able to get rid of! She even left the name of the product she used so we can get more in the future. The house was cleaner than when we left. We'll have her back anytime!

Kendra was a great cat sitter to Genepi and she truly is a cat whisperer. Genepi usually takes 4 days to make friends with a new person but she came out and made friends with Kendra Day 1! Kendra regularly sent wonderful videos and pics of Genepi purring happily. The apartment was neat when we returned and our garden was blossoming. Would absolutely ask Kendra to sit again and highly recommend her. Thanks Kendra!!

Young was the perfect house sitter for us. From the moment you meet her, you can tell she is animal person and is detailed oriented and will take great care of your house and pets. She exudes a peaceful and grounded energy. She was comfortable with each our pets from the high energy dog to the shy skittish cat. She played with the dog in the yard every day and took him on walks. And she was also very attentive to our cats and figured out how to maintain the equilibrium in the relationship between the cats and dog. She is an excellent communicator; she asked questions when our directions weren't clear and kept us updated on the pets. She is also an amazing photographer. She sent us pics of our pets every day that totally captured each of their personalities.

The best cat sitters ever! They loved our cats and spent so much time playing with them and making sure they were happy! We had photos and videos every day with funny little messages and we came home to two very happy, healthy cats. The house was spotless and they even washed the linen and towels! They left us some cute Easter presents and breakfast shopping in the fridge, as we were returning after a long flight. I chose Kira because of her reviews, ability to sit during the dates I needed and willingness to communicate with my daughter/neighbor who co-parents Colby with us. I am always a bit anxious about having someone in my home and trusting them with our fluffy son. Kira put us at ease almost immediately. I received photos and videos everyday throughout the stay. I got updates on Colby’s activity and the fun they were having together. My heart felt full knowing that Colby was being well loved and cared for. Additionally, Kira was so kind to keep us posted on any deliveries that arrived at the house. Finally, when I arrived home, the house was tidy and clean! Again, I am so grateful that Kira was there keeping the house and my cat safe! I hope she will come back and sit again. I know Colby would love to see her again.

Sabre is a sweet, honest person who stepped up at the very last moment (after the prior sitter flaked out) to watch our dog and cat for 17 days. When there were a couple minor accidents, she informed us of them right away. One involved a burnt pan (easy to do if you’re not familiar with an induction stovetop) which she offered to replace. Sabre also washed the towels and sheets, and made up the bed before we got home. The yard was pooper scooped and litter box was clean. Pets seemed well-cared for. When she had to leave town for several hours one day, she made sure to arrange for our neighbor take care of the pets. Additionally, I appreciated how she didn’t assume that it would be ok to bring her cat. When we found out she was going to keep her cat in a kennel during her stay here, we told her she could bring him which worked out fine. Overall, I would confidently recommend Sabre to watch your pets and house.

We can not exaggerate the care and love Juliet and Laurent gave to our cat, Piero, during his the last few weeks of life. While we left for our trip thinking he merely had a bladder infection, his symptoms turned for the worse a weeks into their sit and later revealed he had cancer. No one would wish their sitter to need to hospice their cat but Juliet and Laurent showed such compassion for Piero and volunteered to be with him when we made the decision to put him down. It was an emotional time for all of us and we will be forever grateful to our two caring cat and house sitters. We have had many fantastic housesitters through zeewoi but Juliet and Laurent top the list. Their professionalism, constant communication and compassion were exceptional. Should you have the opportunity to have them in your home, do not hesitate to book them, you will have no regrets. We do, however, regret that they had such a short time with Piero and had to experience such a painful event.
