Young Traveling WFH who loves animals and people!
Genevieve was phenomenal and we hope she’ll come back to watch our three again! She took excellent care of our pets the easiest one twice daily medication, one has intense food seeking behaviors. Moreover, she left the house in great shape. Genevieve was a pleasure to work with, hysterically funny, and we felt so comfortable having her in our home!

Pet Loving Couple Looking to Experience New Corners of the World
Adrienne and Steven were great sitters! I had my first zoom call with them a couple of months before the sit, and knew immediately that it would be a great fit. They were super responsive and considerate. While I was traveling they sent updates and pictures, and the fact that Sophie warmed up to them so quickly was such a relief! I knew the cats, and my home were in good hands!

Maggie was wonderful. We met and spent time together the day before my husband and I went out of town. I felt very comfortable with her knowledge and ability to take care of the house and my little cats. She stayed in touch with us she sent pictures I spoke to her a few times. The entire experience was wonderful and I would highly recommend her just sit for your house and pets. I hope in the future I will be able to have her come out and stay with us again. Thank you so much

Dave was so great and easy to coordinate with! He was willing to come by a day early to meet us and the dogs. He was very respectful of our place and left no mess behind. He even left a very kind thank you card. He sent pictures of the dogs out on a walk and communicate often. We will definitely have Dave back anytime!

Seasoned Pet and House Sitter
My dogs and I were lucky to rely on Sheila’s excellent pet care a second time. This sit required a great deal of coordination between both Sheila and my friends who provided intermittent pet care. Sheila communicated directly with me and my friends to ensure that all was well during my 5-week absence from home. Olive and Annie obviously like Sheila and feel very comfortable with her. Finally, Sheila made sure sheets and towels were freshly laundered and the house was tidy. I’m quite pleased with her care and offer a strong recommendation.
Kerry and Megan were wonderful sitters and took great care of our two cats while we were on vacation for two weeks. They were responsive, gave us regular updates, and seemed to really care about Tumba and Cappa. When Tumba was more timid toward the beginning of our trip and not eating her meals fully, Kerry was sure to ask for additional suggestions from us on how to coax her to eat more. Kerry and Megan also left the house just as we'd left it for them. We really appreciated them going the extra mile to ask about additional cleaning products so they could clean our bathrooms. It felt great to come home and just relax without needing to remake the bed. Thanks for everything, Kerry and Megan! We would certainly entrust our home and kitties to you again in the future.
Sabre is a sweet, honest person who stepped up at the very last moment (after the prior sitter flaked out) to watch our dog and cat for 17 days. When there were a couple minor accidents, she informed us of them right away. One involved a burnt pan (easy to do if you’re not familiar with an induction stovetop) which she offered to replace. Sabre also washed the towels and sheets, and made up the bed before we got home. The yard was pooper scooped and litter box was clean. Pets seemed well-cared for. When she had to leave town for several hours one day, she made sure to arrange for our neighbor take care of the pets. Additionally, I appreciated how she didn’t assume that it would be ok to bring her cat. When we found out she was going to keep her cat in a kennel during her stay here, we told her she could bring him which worked out fine. Overall, I would confidently recommend Sabre to watch your pets and house.
Joi did a wonderful job caring for my two cats and two guinea pigs, as well as caring for my home! She is coming back in November for a long sit while I am out of the country and we all can’t wait. Joi had experience with rabbits and jumped right in with guinea pig care. She is so calm around them that they were sitting on her lap day one! She spent time preparing their vegetables and kept their enclosure and room clean, which requires daily effort. She even washed the floor mats in their room so it was fresh when I returned home. She went above and beyond sending me daily photos and videos so I could see that everyone was healthy and happy. It was apparent to me that she spent a lot of time with my pets, which is very important so they don’t become stressed and lonely when I am away. Joi also took excellent care of my two cats. They receive daily wet food with some medication and she ensured that they received it on time. My cats barely noticed when I returned because they got so much attention from Joi. She took excellent care of my front garden flowers and my tomato and herb hydroponic gardens. These take some daily attention and time in the summer, and I returned home to them looking great! Joi is a very caring, clean, and thoughtful sitter and I hope she comes back many more times!
Elisabeth was an excellent sitter for our cat. We were away for two weeks and received daily photos and notes from her about Catman's activities (i.e., sleeping and eating). She is definitely a cat lover and that was evident from our cat's calm behavior when we returned.
Lindsey was super communicative, friendly, responsible, and an excellent sitter for our two cats. When we returned, our home was clean and our cats relaxed and happy as if we had never left ! She sent us photos and updates every day, as requested, and when a random mishap occurred in the apartment, she let us know right away and was proactive in handling issue. We felt like both our cats and our home were in very caring, capable and respectful hands. Excellent! Thank you Lindsey!
Marianna was an incredible house sitter and cat sitter. She gave our property and sweet kitty top notch care. She is kind, easy to communicate with, thorough, etc. Would highly recommend her, you will not be disappointed.
Wow, what a find Justin is! I feel as though I won a lottery. As I was revelling in the communication we were having during his stay, I looked over his profile and realized either that he had updated it during his stay OR I never even read it. I was so impressed with his initial application that described multiple stays taking care of cats in Turkey that I knew he was going to be a great choice. So I'm not sure that I even read his profile or reviews. Turned out...he was more than I could have EVER hoped for. Justin is VERY organized and clear with his communication. Just as--or maybe more--important, he is a poster child for what zeewoi can be: more than just an economical way to get a pet sitter or a place to stay. Justin embraces the barter economy and the opportunity it presents to get to know people. Although we only met the day that I turned the house and my 2 cats over to his care, we had delightful communication throughout his stay. He wanted to be sure he was providing the right care to all living and non-living elements of my home as well as just chat beyond what we'd had an opportunity to cover when we were face to face on the handoff day. Bottom line: I'd have Justin back even if I wasn't going anywhere! I've met a friend. And my neighbors did as well! Oh yes, and my two cats were well looked after, the house was in ship shape, and Justin was able to brief the next sitter in person (I'd had to extend my time away and Justin already had another commitment). To say I felt confident leaving my pets and home in Justin's care is an understatement. Justin is a real adventurer and believer in the power of both human and animal connection. Without a doubt, I would recommend him as a sitter...and a friend! Thank you, Justin for a great example of how to wrestle so much more meaning out of zeewoi.
Anna was a wonderful sitter for our furry friends. My dog, Luke, bonded with her and was sad when she left. My cats would crawl under the covers and curl up with her at night. She is a true animal magnet and lover. I highly recommend Anna to anyone who wants their pets to recieve first class love while away.
My husband and I reached out to Toby & Chloe after reading their profile and impressive reviews only a week before our trip, since our scheduled sitter had to cancel at the last moment. They were very friendly and quick to respond to chat from the very beginning, and ended up exceeding our expectations during their two week stay. It was evident they had thoroughly read our Welcome Guide beforehand, as they arrived knowledgeable and prepared to care for our home and pets. They were very willing and happy to take the necessary time with us to walk through the house and meet our cats, as we got them acclimated with our daily routines and answered any questions. Shortly after we left, our city had a heat wave come through, and after immediately notifying us, Toby went beyond the call of duty and inspected our struggling AC unit to pinpoint the issue. As far as cat care is concerned, we have two seniors (who have more sensitive tummies) that can get irritated after a fur ball or swallowing anything out of the ordinary. When this occurred, Toby & Chloe stepped in and took wonderful care of our cat duo; softening their food and even cradling while hand-feeding them for extra comfort. We truly could not have asked for more affectionate and responsible sitters. We returned to a spotlessly clean home, happy cats, and well maintained plants and pool. (They even cleaned our dusty Kitchen pendant lighting, which requires a steady hand and is definitely a time-commitment …We felt like professional housecleaners had been there!) On our way back, Toby & Chloe stayed in communication with us to monitor our arrival time, allowing them to care for our cats until just before we got home. Overall, they are very reliable and trustworthy sitters whose genuine goal is to provide a top-quality sit, while maintaining your household and seamlessly transitioning to your pets daily schedule.
Kristine was wonderful again as our local sitter from just down the street. The boys take to her like she is their best friend whenever she comes to sit with them. She sent us photos of them playing, relaxing, drinking water and eating so we knew they were well taken care of. The house and the cats were in excellent shape and excellent hands while we were away. It is wonderful that she enjoys the house and the cats so much and tells us so. Kristine comes with our highest recommendation! Thank you Kristine!

Our dog had a wonderful time boarding here! We met 3 staff members and they were all very professional and nice. The facility was super clean and well organized. They made our dog (and us!) feel comfortable right away. Everything as exactly as they promised. Our dog got a bath before we picked him up and came home smelling sweet and clean. Thank you Saratoga Pet Resort! We will definitely board our buy with you again. 🙏🏼😃
Thank you so much for the amazing care you provide for Bentley. I can tell how happy and well-cared-for he-is every time we pick him up. It gives me great peace of mind knowing Bentley is in such a loving, professional, and fun environment. Your attention to detail, warm staff, and dedication to the dogs really stand out. I’m so grateful to have found a daycare that treats Bentley like family!
My dog has been coming here daily for two years. I couldn't be happier with the care and love shown to him by the staff! They understand the needs and "quirks" of his breed. I am confident each day I drop him off he is in good hands. (If he weren't, he would absolutely refuse to get out of the car). Please know my review is from first hand, daily experience. I am thankful for the staff's dedication and hard work, it is appreciated!
I would not recommend this place at all! I picked up my dog and the smell of urine on her was so bad. I called and was told that she probably drank too much water and didn't make it outside in time. My dog never had accidents at a kennel before. The owner wanted to give me every reason she could think of as to why it happened. I also heard other horror stories about this place. They don't take care of your dog. Bottom line is my dog was in trauma after being there and they failed at taking care of her. I have heard from several people on how bad this place is. If you love your pet don't bring them here!!!!!!!
I was sending my dog Lulu there for just short of a year one day per week for daycare. We then boarded her over July 4th weekend. I came back and they handed me back almost all her food. Of 7 meals I packed, only 3 bags of dry food were used and none of her chicken that I also packed. Again, I sent Lulu there once per week for daycare, so they should have already known how she gets fed, but I also wrote everything out and explained it to them and they still screwed it up! No one even called me to ask for repeat instructions AND i called to check on her and they didn't say anything about the food issue. When we picked her up and i got angry, the excuses that were given were that it was a busy weekend for them, they lost her food but they fed her theirs, no one put her feeding instructions in the system. I was angry. When we got home, Lulu, who is not the best eater to begin with, devoured her food like she hadn't eaten so I don't know what to believe. I think the people who work there are really nice and mean well, but my dog is my kid and I've now lost trust. I can't send her there knowing they did not care for her as I expected them to and they couldn't be bothered to even call me, admit they screwed up and ask for the instructions again. I am super disappointed. We have identified a new place for her daycare and boarding and I feel much more confident in the care Lulu receives there. After only one day at her new place, I can see a difference in how she comes home. It makes me question whether she even got much play time in daycare at the pet resort bc she never came home very tired and she was never, in a year, in ANY of the pictures the pet resort posted of the dogs playing in daycare. I wish them well but I need better care for my dog than they gave her.
I left my 12 year old Great Dane/lab here for 1 week. I was told 1 day prior to picking him up that everything was okay but he didn’t want to take his medication that night. I told the manager who called me that it was okay because I was picking him up the next day. I was then called the morning of pickup and was told everything is okay again and they were just making sure I was coming today. While I was driving to pick up my dog, I was called and was told that my dog hasn’t been moving much all week, that his was going to the bathroom in his kennel and laying in it, not eating or taking his medication and that they were going to bring my dog to the emergency vet. They had mentioned multiple times that they were very concerned all week about Jax. When I got there to get him, they had to use a towel to physically lift his back legs up and limp him out to me. My dog had residue of urine and feces on him and his bed that he was left with was covered and had to be thrown out. The employees blamed it on the owner Lori and told me that it was very difficult to work there because this happens a lot where Lori sugar coats things when it's not ok. I was made aware that Lori the owner doesn’t want to tell the owners what's really going on at her facility. My dog has now been severely ill for the past two days since pickup and I am infuriated that I was not informed that my elderly dog needed immediate attention and was not getting it!
My dog LOVES going to daycare here. My favorite part is how happy she is when I drop her off to the point that I’m chopped liver. My second favorite part is the customer service we (my dog and I) receive. My dog is treated like a family pet and when they talk to me they go out of their way to ensure I’m taken care of as well.
I do not recommend Saratoga Pet Resort. If it was under different ownership, than yes! I would. The staff? Amazing. You won't find better care with them. The managers are wonderful. This is from the perspective of a former employee. The owner however, does not care for the safety of your fury baby. The owner will do whatever they can to make a buck. If it means putting YOUR dog in a semi dangerous situation like keeping them locked in a small office with live cords or trapped inside a bathroom with chemicals, they will do it. The owner barley even works here as it is. Always claiming to be busy in their condo or flying back and forth to their Florida home. Must be nice. They pay their employees like garbage and mostly hires 14-18 year olds to be able to keep paying them like garbage. They will let these young kids who are undertrained handle aggressive dogs because they will NOT say no to anybody if it means they are paying to stay. Both managers are salary but thats only because so the owner can work them past 40 hours but only pay them for 40! Some dogs pay for daycare but they don't even let them go outside to play because they are too much to handle since it's constantly overcrowded, unsafe and overbooked. Some of you are paying 30$ a day to have your dog be locked up ALL DAY with no playtime outside. Working here for months (march thru june) when it was suppose to be monthly split tips, I have not once ever received a tip and any tip a customer gave to me, I put in the jar to be split, never saw any of it. If you're reading this and you think to yourself, "My dog goes here and I love it and so do they!" Yes! Because you're never dealing with the owner. They come in when they choose to and leave when they want to and only help when they HAVE to... I'm not a irate ex employee. I was not fired. I QUIT. I'm an ex employee who will NOT be silenced. I will speak up for my friends. I will speak up for the dogs. I WILL SPEAK UP. You will not scare me and the fake tactic you tried, made me laugh. Just for the record. I will ALWAYS put my kids before my job. The owner should understand that more than anybody of why it's important! Though instead on a day where I couldn't find childcare because my child contracted COVID, the owner accidentally texted the work group chat complaining about me using vulgar language and saying they were going to cut my hours. Sure I got an apology but not before being lectured in front of the entire staff VIA text.. not once has anybody came to me prior to this. Actually prior to this, the manager came to me and THANKED me for being apart of the pet resort family and how valuable I was because I knew my stuff (helps when I've been working with animals as a hobby and professionally for more than 15 years) My attendance wasn't great, according to the owner , 8 call outs since March all because of lack of childcare or because my child was sick, but it wasn't bad considering that some people no called no showed, didn't come in because of hangovers or just left mid shift, all still with their jobs and no lectures. Please take the time and listen to former ex employees who've worked 1 on 1 with the owner, don't just take my word for it. Anybody who used to work for them and I'm sure everybody who still currently does, can vouch for me, for us. Anyways. Do I recommend Saratoga Pet Resort? No but only because I do not wish to give the owner ANYMORE money than what they have. If you can afford to take multiple trips across America, have luxury homes & cars, you can pay your employees more than 15.50 an hour. HAVE A DAY YOU DESERVE.
so I have been touring pet facilities because I plan on opening one in South florida and I can honestly say that Saratoga pet resort was the best that I have toured not only was the only one that didn’t smell but the staff was warm welcoming and amazing!! Thank you Saratoga appt resort for an amazing tour!!!
Amazing care for both of our dogs. When I walk in the door after a month of not being there, they remember both our dogs. Excellent staff!
