Cat Sitting in Gijon

We can't say enough great things about Daniel and Lorena as pet sitters. They first applied for a pet sit with us, and we were so impressed that we invited them back for a second sit. There will definitely be more to follow because of how exceptional they are. For the initial sit, we had a detailed video call where they asked thoughtful questions and shared their experiences. They came across as knowledgeable, self-sufficient pet sitters with a genuine love for animals, making them an easy choice. During both sits, they arrived the night before to ensure our dogs, Becky and Ashie, had seamless attention and comfort when we left. They quickly adapted to and maintained the girls' routines, making feeding and exercise a breeze. They kept us regularly updated with photos and videos of Becky and Ashie enjoying their walks, playing in the garden, and having fun around the pool. We cannot recommend Daniel and Lorena enough. They kept our house spotless and even cleaned before we returned, which was a wonderful welcome after long travels. Their mobility, thanks to their own car, made it easy for them to get around as needed. We will definitely have them back for another sit soon.

Philippa and Roberto lived up to all their reviews. The handover was easy, even though its a large house and there is lots to explain! Philippa very kindly took me to the airport so we didn’t have to have 2 cars there which saved us a small fortune. They were very good with our dogs and Amba and Zulu took to them straight away. Whilst we were away, Roberto was quick to spot that Amba had a fever and swiftly took her to our vet where she was diagnosed a severe infection. If they hadn’t moved so fast the results could have been so much worse. His veterinary experience was such a bonus and it enabled us to feel confident in the knowledge that all our animals were being well looked after whilst we were on the other side of the world. We knew that Amba especially, was in good hands. Philippa always kept us up to date with daily photos, videos and of course importantly how Amba was progressing on her antibiotics. Roberto obviously enjoyed the Garden as he did much more than just keep things tidy, he even went as far as digging out the nettle roots in the vegetable garden. Which was definitely above and beyond the call of duty. On our return we found all the dog blankets washed and changed, (which is no small feat) house clean and tidy, dogs and chickens happy and chicken coop cleaned out too. AND I CANT BELIEVE IT BUT THEY EMPTIED THE DOG POO BIN!!! For that they get a gold medal! Philippa made us a lovely supper upon our return of Tart Tatin, watermelon, feta and cucumber salad with Roberto’s home made Spanish tortilla. We thoroughly enjoyed their company and they looked after our home as if it was their own. What more can you ask for! Muchas gracias Roberto y Philippa hasta la proxima.

Everything went more than well with Ceci and Dani. They took such an amazing care of Choco, took him to the nature and provided everything that he needed. Choco can be a handful but Ceci and Dani really understood him and took the time to get to know him. I would gladly have Ceci and Dani to take care of him anytime in the future and hope our paths will cross again. I can warmly recommend them to other home owners!

I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the second time to Eva and Alex for staying at my house and for the exceptional care and attention both provided to my beloved two cats during my absence. Their kindness and responsibility truly warmed my heart. Knowing that Eva&Alex took on the responsibility of my house and looking after my two cherished cats for a second time while I was away, brought me an immense sense of relief. The dedication and attentiveness in ensuring their well-being did not go unnoticed. From feeding them with their favorite treats to ensuring they had a cozy and comforting environment, their commitment was evident in every detail. All the conscientiousness and care alleviated any worries I had. Eva and Alex have a willingness to go above and beyond, their care speaks volumes about their character and compassion. At my house things runned smoothly as well, as they had stayed for a long period of time and I am genuinely thankful for their efforts.

We had a great experience having Iratxe and her daughter stay with us and care for our babies (2 dogs, 1 cat). The house was very clean and the animals seemed very well cared for. We even had to have workers at our house while we were away due to some leaking from recent storms and they coordinated with us to let the workers continue the project on our house. We are very appreciative and would have them back again.

Massive thank you to Jose for looking after our mini dachshund Reggie and our cat Cobweb for a week this spring. Jose was quick to communicate and very easy to talk to. He left the house clean and tidy and looked after both animals brilliantly. Would def recommend and have back too. Thanks again!

Mar came with her sister and friend to take care of our pets. And although they didn’t have much experience with horses they managed well. Our New Foundlander got a kilo more on her waist. I think she was very spoiled by Mar. I can recommend them for pet sitting.

Kate and Harry were amazing! Daily pictures and feedback about how our fur babies were. They are lovely people and we feel so fortunate to have had them in charge of the terrible trio while we were away. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone and hope that if they’re ever available to us again that they would return. A1 pet sitters and the cats are visibly missing them this morning! Cannot praise them enough!

Barbara is a wonderful sitter. It is always a good indication when the cats are friendly and happy around the sitter, and they love Barbara. She is very good at keeping in touch, and we were able to have a worry free weekend whilst she was here looking after our 4 cats. Lady Black, Loki, Rolo, and Baby Bobbie all say, "Thank you* We all say a big thank you 😊
