Cat Sitting in Hallein

Thank you Lily for taking such good care of my cats and apartment! Lily was flexible, reliable and communicated well. We agreed a one-week sit a few months before the start and after a few days of confirming, I needed to extend my trip by another week. Before adding a new listing, I asked if Lily would want to stay longer, and she agreed right away. She stayed 22.7.-6.8 instead of the 29.7.-6.8. marked for this review. We had a videocall before confirming the sit and she also came to visit the cats in person a day before the start of the sit. The impression was as good in person as during the call, so I could feel at ease during my holiday. It was easy to communicate with her from the beginning and I received updates on the cats as agreed. I arrived home to two healthy cats and a clean apartment. Everything went very well!

Tatiana was a truly wonderful pet sitter and also took care of my flat well. The communication was super easy, so was the arrangement for the keys and meeting beforehand to show her everything necessary. She's a true cat lover and sent me photo and video updates several times a day. I could see that my cats were super happy with her, as they immediately bonded and spent cuddling time with her starting from night #1. She's played with them a lot and had a good understanding of their character and behavior. I was truly content with her, 100% recommendation!

Anja was the most amazing housesitter. She went to great lengths to bond with my cats which she did very successfully. She looked after my garden really well considering it was hot and dry weather. The house was left clean and tidy. I would not hesitate to recommend Anja for any housesit. She is a bubbly, friendly self sufficient lady and I would welcome her back anytime. Just when I think each zeewoi can’t get any better I am proved wrong!

Isabella and Michael took care of my two cats, my 8 chickens and my home for 8 days in August 2024. Isabella is a phenomenal house sitter! She is clearly experienced and knows exactly which questions to ask ahead of time, which helped to make the sit go so smoothly. All my pets and all my plants (indoor as well as outdoor) were in the absolute best of care and I received lots of photo updates, along with a lovely conversation and the absolute adorable gift of an impeccable clean home. Isabella is more than perfect. Not only does she have a lot of experience with animals - she is deeply loving cats. She went above and beyond to ensure that the cats were well attended, safe overnight, and ate their veterinarian prescribed food. I could see from the daily photos that the cats were more than happy with Isabella and Michael. Isabella and Michael made me feel super relaxed and comfortable during my vacation, knowing that Baghi and Balu were in such great hands. I highly recommend Isabella and Michael and I really hope that I will have the chance to book them again in the next future. Und hier noch ein paar Worte auf Deutsch. Isabella und Michael als Katzensitter für 8 Tage zu bekommen erachte ich als großes Geschenk. Isabella hat eine unglaublich rasche Auffassungsgabe, sie stellt die richtigen Fragen, ist absolut vertrauenswürdig, liebenswürdig und ist eine "Katzen-Närrin". Meine Kater wurden nicht nur absolut professionell mit Diätfutter versorgt, sie wurden auch gestreichelt und es wurde mit ihnen in einem Ausmaß gespielt welches sie als Freigänger von mir gar nicht gewöhnt sind. Beide Kater waren absolut entspannt und wirklich gut drauf. Die Hühner und die vielen Pflanzen waren - sogar in der heißesten Jahreszeit - wunderbar versorgt und alles war in allerbester Ordnung. Ich habe mir während meines Urlaubs keine Sekunde Sorgen gemacht und nach meiner Rückkehr war das Haus super sauber. Ich danke Isabella und Michael aus tiefstem Herzen und hoffe, dass diese sympathische Paar wieder zu den Katerchens und mir kommen möchte. Ich danke euch herzlichst ihr Lieben

Andrea was super nice and considerate, the arrangement of the sit went smoothly and she did everything according to my liking :). She took care of the flat, left everthing tidy and cleaned. Even when my friendly neighbour accidentally tried to enter the flat, she handled the situation confidently (I'm still so sorry for this incident, though!). Andrea sent me occasional updates and photos of the situation. When I came back home, I noticed that my cats were very relaxed and happy, which usually means that they were taken care of well and didn't miss me too much :). The kitties and I were happy to have Andrea and would like to welcome her any time again!

Monika was so much more than we could have hoped for. She is such a lovely, reliable and thoughtful pet and house sitter. We had absolute confidence in her from the moment we met and the result was even better. I’d genuinely have no hesitation in recommending Monika for anyone who is looking for a trustworthy person to mind their house and pets and have a care free time away. 100%.

Sarah and James came to house sit for us recently for 3 weeks, looking after our two dogs. They are a very friendly young couple, and it was easy to communicate and make our arrangements prior to the sit. They kept in touch whilst we were away and the dogs were happy and healthy when we returned. On return the house was clean and tidy, beds were changed and the lawn had been mowed - and there was a homemade apple crumble in the fridge! They went above and beyond and it was much appreciated.

We were very glad that "Ulli" arrived a couple of days earlier than we had originally proposed. This allowed us a chance to get to know her better, and show her our town and the nearby area (stores, etc.) so she would feel more comfortable relying on her phone and GPS to manage in our absence. And manage she did, very well indeed. Ulli is delightful, and inquisitive, and very capable and responsible. Aside from a couple of technical phone glitches (ours didn't work at all, curse you Verizon!) when we were in Europe, communication was good and the pictures Ulli sent made us wonder if our dogs were happier with her than they are when we are at home. And that is exactly how it should be. Ja, genau! The dogs (we have 5 now, after fostering a couple of abandoned puppies and then nobody wanting to adopt them together) were in heaven relaxing on the furniture or snoozing near Ulli. The chickens and cattle were in fine shape too, the garden looked well-tended, and ditto the pool. We would love to have Ulli come back again, maybe next year in November. It is so important to us to have a reliable person take care of our place when we are away. This was the first time Carrie and I traveled together since October of 2019. Ulli made it possible. I felt as comfortable having Lisa stay in my home and watch my dogs as having my own children come to stay. But Lisa definitely took better care of the house than my kids do. I had the pleasure of meeting her the night before I left and going out to dinner with her. She's very independent and accomplished, having just spent ten months traveling the world and working remotely. Nothing seems to rattle her and I had full confidence that if anything had come up with the dogs or house that needed attention, she'd figure out how to take care of it. She kept in touch with me when I was gone and I came back to a clean house and happy pets. I can't recommend her more highly.

It was wonderful to have Queenie and Martin look after Wally (and Dinky the lizard) again! The organization was simple and stress-free, they arrived in perfect timing for an easy handover. Throughout the stay we got regular update and photos which were much appreciated, Wally clearly didn't miss us at all and felt very comfortable with Queenie and Martin. It was a hot week and Wally and Dinky were well cared for in the heat. The house was left impeccable, and we really appreciated the treats left for our arrival home. Can highly recommend Queenie and Martin anytime to look after your pets and house! Thanks so much Queenie and Martin!
