Caroline and Phillpp were awesome. They were supposed to look after my cat Missy, but sadly she passed away before they arrived. I still wanted to offer them a place to stay and they accepted. The 3 months I was away, they looked after my plants, home and mail. I spoke to them on a regular basis and was more than happy to have them share my place. I gave them the use of my car as well and they really appreciated it! When I returned home my house was spotless and super clean. I was very happy the way my home was cared for. Caroline even baked and left me some home made cookies!!! I would highly recommend Caroline and Phillpp to anyone who wants the perfect house/pet sitter. I will always welcome them into my home!!

Kate was a wonderful housesitter. She bought her gorgeous chocolate lab Elsie with her who was so sweet and, although young, she was really well behaved and lovely company for Woody. We really enjoyed meeting Kate who has a really cheerful personality and handled everything we threw at her with ease and a smile on her face. Unfortunately, we had some works going on at the house outside which had run on longer than we thought so she had to deal with guttering people, scaffolding and landscapers, all of which she did in her stride without complaint which we really appreciated. She was very caring with Woody who had a couple of "off days" and was careful to keep us in touch with how he was doing and asking whether we wanted to get the vet involved. We really felt he was in good hands. She was super flexible and even offered to move her return journey in case Woody wasn't well enough to be left until we got back but, in the end, it wasn't necessary. We got back to an immaculate house and a very happy dog. Thank you Kate for being so understanding and for managing the house and Woody so well. We would highly recommend Kate for a future housesit.

We were delighted to have Mona as our house/pet sitter when we were away in Italy last week. She was easy to liaise with before the visit, asked all the right questions about our dog Mattie when she arrived, and we were very fortunate that when our return flight was delayed she could stay another night and even put our shopping delivery away in the fridge/freezer. Wolfgang & Ute were great. They are a kind, responsible, and thoughtful couple. They made great friends with our dog Maple and did a lot with the house to put our minds at eash when we were away. They were always very responsive and communicative, which helped a lot both before, during, and after the sitting. We are grateful for everything they have done in our absence and will be looking forward to hosting them in the future again.

Four (4) excellent scritches-giving hands of a cat-loving digital nomad couple
Iris and Jonas were fabulous pet sitters. They were friendly, chatty and easy to get along with. Even our very, very timid Tiny sat with them and had strokes. From the very minute Jonas and Iris arrived it was obvious they are cat lovers. We received lots of lovely photos and messages from them of the cats thoroughly enjoying cuddles and playing. The house was lovely and clean and tidy upon our return. I really couldn't recommend them enough. I'd be very, very happy to have them to stay again and I'm sure Tiny and Ned would agree.

We hosted Melanie for 2 weeks over Christmas and everything was perfect. We were happy to get to meet her to handoff and chat! She kept us up to date on a few small issues quickly resolved and was very patient with our slight mismatch on a few parts of welcome guide that we are fixing. She sent us great updates with lots of playtime for our cat. For leaving everything was as per instruction, and very tidy and clean. Tayto barely noticed we returned 🤣 Thanks so much Melanie.

Sunny - my weather and my nature
Dieter and Tina did a wonderful job of looking after our menagerie ☺️ they clearly doted on our dogs and the feeling was very mutual. They arrived the day before we departed which was great as we could spend time with them, the dogs could get used to them and we could explain everything without being rushed. On both the morning we departed and arrived home, Dieter and Tina walked the pups so we wouldn't have to worry about it. They also made up our bed so it was ready when we arrived back very early in the morning. They sent lots of pictures and we knew they were in very good hands. A lovely experience and you're both welcome back any time!

Flextime digital nomad & nonsmoker - great companion for pets!
Cindy is a reliable, warm and considerate person and a very experienced house and pet sitter. It was a pleasure for us and our cat Micky to have her here during our five-week trip to Canada and we hope it won't be the last time. Cindy came to stay with us a day and a half before we left, as we had arranged in advance. It was easygoing to share the flat with her during this time and there was enough time for conversation and explanation. Cindy was very attentive and carefully followed all recommendations regarding the flat and the care of Micky. She quickly became friends with Micky. We therefore had no worries when we left. Communication was great. Cindy provided us with regular photos and reports on Micky with the frequency we requested, took care of the mail and the plants, and also handled unusual situations with ease. On our return, Micky was completely unchanged and relaxed. The flat was also as clean as we had left it and everything was in its place. Cindy cooked a tasty meal on our arrival, which was perfect for us after the long flight. It was also nice to meet her again. To our delight even several days after our return we still realized how tidy everything was, and we were very impressed with Cindy's thoughtfulness and self-sufficiency. Anyone travelling for an extended period of time should consider themselves lucky when Cindy looks after pets and home.

Pares is an experienced and quality sitter and we knew our cat Juniper (and a few plants) was well cared for. We received regular updates and photos which was really nice to have during our travels. While we missed Juniper, we could see that she enjoyed receiving cuddles and attention from Pares. Upon returning home, our flat was clean and tidy, and Juniper was very happy! We were very lucky to have had Nia for our recent house sit. She communicated well before the sit and arrived as planned. We shared a meal before we left which gave us time to get to know her and tell her about the house and our pets. After we left it soon became clear the cats loved Nia and the attention she gave them. We were kept informed throughout her stay with regular updates and video clips of what they were up to and how the garden was growing etc. We highly recommend Nia as a pet/house sitter and we would certainly have her back should the opportunity arise. Kathy and Ron arrived at our home with a most fantastical toy for our cats and a giant apple pie. Need I say more? They are very experienced sitters and brought personal items that they prefer. We knew we were leaving out cats in good hands. A large part of their 'job' was hand watering our garden and Ron took that in stride. Everything is thriving. Our cats are usually distant with new people but we received photos of them keeping Kathy and Ron company in various situations which was reassuring. They clearly won our cats over. Although Ron and Kathy had a ferry to catch on their last day, they took time to wash their linens and hang them on the clothesline. They also left us a gorgeous plant for our garden. We would very much like to have them back for a longer sit if possible.

Raquel was simply terrific! She and her husband, Miguel, had to fill in at the last minute for another sitter who had a death in her family. This meant that the length of the stay and sitting they had originally signed up for doubled. Completely undaunted, they did a GREAT job for us. Our cat and dog got lots of love and affection, and plenty of exercise, food, and rest. Our house and yard were cared for with equal conscientiousness. It was wonderful for us to be able to rely so completely on these super zeewoi. We recommend them 100 percent!
