Pam stayed with my two kitties for five nights, and I found her to be very responsive and friendly prior to and during the sit. We had a long phone conversation before the sit, and she asked lots of great questions and told me all about herself. Pam is a capable, responsible professional with an affable and positive personality. The text conversations leading up to the sit were informative and helpful and we got to know each other a little that way too. Once Pam arrived and the visit began, I loved receiving daily updates with photos of the kitties enjoying themselves! It was like having a friend stay over. After my long trip, I returned to an ***immaculate*** house, happy cats and thriving seedlings. Everything was exactly as I'd left it, only even cleaner. She even left me some of her bison chili - yum! What a great experience with a housesitter. I can't recommend Pam enough! I hope we'll have the chance to connect again soon!

Absolutely thrilled to leave a glowing review for Chloe and Orion, both fantastic pet and house sitters! From the moment they arrived a day early to get to know my fur babes Blueberry (dog) and Fiona (cat), it was clear we were in great hands. Their attentiveness and initiative were beyond impressive. Chloe and Orion are incredibly self-sufficient, friendly, and respectful. They seamlessly blended into the home and became apart of the family, and their meticulous cleaning skills left everything spotless. I returned to a house that was clean, welcoming, and with COOKIES (yes there were yummy baked cookies to enjoy when I arrived!!) Most importantly, Blueberry and Fiona adored them. It's obvious Chloe and Orion have a genuine love for animals, and their care and affection made my pets feel completely comfortable and happy. I can't recommend Chloe and Orion enough. They are simply the best!

Toby and Chloe were amazing pet sitters. It wasn’t the easiest sit - a nervous dog and 3 cats with various ailments and medication to have, but they took it all in their stride and cared for them so well without any issues. Our nervous dog Zelda warmed to them in just 2 days which is a record for house sitters so far! I also really enjoyed getting to know them over dinner the night before I left, they’re very easygoing and positive people. They also left the house spotless for when I came back. I would love to have them sit for us again. You can rest assured your house and animals are in safe hands with this lovely pair!

Chris was an outstanding pet sitter and I would definitely use him again! He is reliable, responsible, and thorough. I was able to FaceTime Chris prior to the sit and he spent a lot of time answering and asking questions. I felt confident after speaking with him. Throughout the weekend, Chris communicated clearly through texting. He let me know when he arrived and left which was helpful. He also sent photos and updates of both my cats. My boy cat has occasional anxiety issues which cause UTI's. Andy had a flare up while I was away and Chris was very attentive to him and let me know how he was doing. Chris did not seem to mind taking extra care of him which I very much appreciate. Chris left my house clean and even washed the sheets and towels he used before leaving!

Kathy and Ron arrived at our home with a most fantastical toy for our cats and a giant apple pie. Need I say more? They are very experienced sitters and brought personal items that they prefer. We knew we were leaving out cats in good hands. A large part of their 'job' was hand watering our garden and Ron took that in stride. Everything is thriving. Our cats are usually distant with new people but we received photos of them keeping Kathy and Ron company in various situations which was reassuring. They clearly won our cats over. Although Ron and Kathy had a ferry to catch on their last day, they took time to wash their linens and hang them on the clothesline. They also left us a gorgeous plant for our garden. We would very much like to have them back for a longer sit if possible.

Florence is everything you want in a cat sitter! We have two cats that need a lot of human attention. One takes multiple medications twice a day and they both are used to eating on their own schedule and having people around so it is always very important to us to find a pet sitter that will be spending a lot of time in the apartment and that doesn't mind being very attentive. We were able to meet Florence before our trip and felt 100% confident that she would take great care of our cats. Florence is comfortable giving medication, she sent us photos and updates and left our apartment spotless. We were so happy that we had her come back the following week when we went away again for a short trip! We will definitely contact Florence again whenever we travel and hope that she is available!

I have a bird dog. I was worried finding a place to board my dog that would take care of my investment and hunting partner. MTK is the place. She looks forward to staying there when I travel. I also began using Emmett for training, He is fabulous and has helped push my dog to the next level. I would highly recommand his hunt camp for gun dogs. UPDATE, training with Emmett, we got my dog her prize 3 on her NAVHDA utility test, she scored enough points for a prize 2 but her handler let her down.
Montana training and Kennels is an amazing facility for your fur babies.. The owners as well as the staff are very friendly and care for all the animals as their own. We have boarded our 2 dogs at the kennel as well as have them groomed on a regular basis. Our pets have always been well cared for and loved especially by Donna. I highly recommend this kennel.
Montana Training and Kennels is a fantastic facility for your pets. We recently boarded my dogs at the kennels and they were well cared for and very comfortable in their indoor to outside kennel. The facility is clean and secure. While there, my bird dogs received great "in field" pointing and retriever training and are now regularly training with Emmet in preparation for the upcoming hunting season. I highly recommend this kennel.
Great family run business. The depth to which they care for the animals in their charge is inspiring. Their rates are fair, their facility is the best I've ever seen, and the training available in phenomenal. I've been the recipient of such great care and our animals are better for it. I can't say enough great things about this business and these people!
MTK does it all! From overnight boarding, doggie daycare, obedience training and even specialized hunt dog training, MTK is your one stop shop for dog training. We have always taken our dogs to their facility for training but MTK also does house visits and private sessions at your residence if that's the route you prefer. They have multiple programs depending on your dog and their trainers take the time to understand your dog's specific individual needs. For obedience, we've seen them work with all breeds of dogs and dog sizes. For hunt training, we have a pointing dog but they also train flushers, shed dogs and tracking dogs. They cater to your special needs and the dogs intended purpose. I have also seen them help customers find their future hunting companions (puppies and broke dogs). They research pedigrees and breeders to fit your desired purpose. On the other side of the spectrum, I have seen their trainers work with scared and aggressive dogs, helping them come out of their shell and become more confident with time and patience. Overall, I highly recommend MTK for both you and your pups futures.
My family and I have tried every kennel in the Helena area over the last 30+ years and Countryside Kennels is the best. Never had any problems with them and their facilities are top notch. Well worth the drive out of Helena to know that your dogs are being treated well.
They took great care of our dogs! There kennels are clean and safe. But I have been calling for the past month and a half and no one will answer the phone and the mail box is full. Id recommend them if I could get ahold of them.
I have a dog with separation anxiety. This kennel has a "family yard" where both my dogs can be together. They both came home after four days totally stress free.
Got my dog boarded and some training tips at MTK!!! The shed dog work was second to none. Can’t wait to get my boy back to Oklahoma and see what he can do!!!

Robin has been grooming my schnauzer for a couple years. He always looks great when he's done.
Bad service and mistreated my boys. Did not let dogs out enough, kept them caged all day w/o water. My older dog was sick and threw up for a few days after. When I called to discuss, the woman was very angry and said she was going though a lot of personal problems.
