Bridget (Bee) sat for us for three weeks this summer. This was the second time she had looked after Maggie and our house, and we have asked her back again this Christmas, which I think says it all! Bee is warm, friendly, kind and considerate. Her first priority is always to make Maggie happy and feel loved, and we have come home to a very content dog, who I think is missing Bee a lot! Bee sent us photos or videos on a daily basis while we were away, telling us what she'd been up to with Maggie. She looked after our garden beautifully - we came back to a perfect lawn and a well-watered, happy garden. It was wonderful to know that she was enjoying the house and garden while we were away, and she left everything spotless. We couldn't recommend Bee enough and fingers crossed she can sit for us again! x

Helen was amazing. So organised and with brilliant communication. One of our cats unexpectedly had an injury so he needed medication and a visit to the vets for a check up, Helen did this for us with out any issues and was informing us every day of how both cats were. Seàn was an amazing pet and house sitter! He was super communicative and took amazing care of my dog Nala and cat Bruce. They were happy and loved while I was away- I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for the two little fur babies! He sent great pictures and checked in every day so I had nothing to worry about. On top of all that, he also kept my place immaculately clean and left my place in wonderful shape. Cynthia was a perfect pet sitter for our little kitty. We knew from her extensive experience with cats that Nala was in good hands. She was extremely responsive via texts when we were away, ensuring us that the 2 of them were having a great time. She went absolutely above and beyond by scrubbing our bath and toilets to remove our mineral deposit rings that we haven't been able to get rid of! She even left the name of the product she used so we can get more in the future. The house was cleaner than when we left. We'll have her back anytime!

I am struggling with naming our top adjective to describe Michael and Jeanne. "Conscientious" will likely be it but then again, "personable," "reliable," "organised," and "animal-loving" are top contenders. If you are reading this review and contemplating inviting this couple to watch your pets, then look no further. We have had a number of excellent house sitters but this pair was next level in terms of the love they showed our cats, Maxx and Nala. When we came back, we could our animals already missed them. These cats, who have never slept with anyone other than us, were getting in bed with them each night -- and that meant climbing stairs! The day before our trip, Nala got an ear infection and had to be put on steroids for asthma. Michael and Jeanne did not sign up for that when the sit was booked but they took it in stride. In the last-minute rush, I relayed that Nala needed her oral steroids morning and night. Michael read the RX label, indicating one dose a day, and contacted the vet to clarify. So you can see why "conscientious" is right up there. They saved Nala from an overdose! We were gone three weeks and they sent us just the right amount of pictures and videos. They bought cat toys (I forgot to put ours out!) and actively engaged with them, including 20-minute massages for Maxx. I truly believed them when they said they fell in love with our fur babies. The house was spotless (which was not important to me but truly appreciated) but I smiled when all six water stations in our yard were filled. They took seriously my love for and the needs of the wildlife in our yard. Our plants were all in good condition as well. Sensing they were "next level" when I met them, I predicted they would want to leave a meal for us upon our return. I asked them not to but they found another way to bow out with class. They made a donation to a nonprofit I work with instead. This I learned from the lovely thank you note they left. I hope they will consider Charles and I friends because we certainly feel that way about them now. What special people. If you book them, treat them well because they are going to do that for you for sure.

The best cat sitters ever! They loved our cats and spent so much time playing with them and making sure they were happy! We had photos and videos every day with funny little messages and we came home to two very happy, healthy cats. The house was spotless and they even washed the linen and towels! They left us some cute Easter presents and breakfast shopping in the fridge, as we were returning after a long flight. We would definitely recommend Michael and Jeanne to anyone and hope they will come back to Teignmouth in the near future. Thanks very much for looking after our beautiful cats and our home x

Angel was absolutely the best house sitter we could have hoped for. She is a very warm, open and diligent person and our two cats adored her. She looked after our house and garden with really conscientious care. She won over our very timid cat, Billie, and sent regular photos of both cats looking supremely content which gave us perfect peace of mind. The house was completely spotless on our return and the garden was fabulous... no mean feat since there was a heatwave while we were away and she kept everything watered and in great condition. We would have Angel back at the drop of a hat and cannot recommend her highly enough.

We can not exaggerate the care and love Juliet and Laurent gave to our cat, Piero, during his the last few weeks of life. While we left for our trip thinking he merely had a bladder infection, his symptoms turned for the worse a weeks into their sit and later revealed he had cancer. No one would wish their sitter to need to hospice their cat but Juliet and Laurent showed such compassion for Piero and volunteered to be with him when we made the decision to put him down. It was an emotional time for all of us and we will be forever grateful to our two caring cat and house sitters. We have had many fantastic housesitters through zeewoi but Juliet and Laurent top the list. Their professionalism, constant communication and compassion were exceptional. Should you have the opportunity to have them in your home, do not hesitate to book them, you will have no regrets. We do, however, regret that they had such a short time with Piero and had to experience such a painful event.

She did a great job of following their schedules and giving them attention. My husband and I reached out to Toby & Chloe after reading their profile and impressive reviews only a week before our trip, since our scheduled sitter had to cancel at the last moment. They were very friendly and quick to respond to chat from the very beginning, and ended up exceeding our expectations during their two week stay. It was evident they had thoroughly read our Welcome Guide beforehand, as they arrived knowledgeable and prepared to care for our home and pets. They were very willing and happy to take the necessary time with us to walk through the house and meet our cats, as we got them acclimated with our daily routines and answered any questions. Shortly after we left, our city had a heat wave come through, and after immediately notifying us, Toby went beyond the call of duty and inspected our struggling AC unit to pinpoint the issue. As far as cat care is concerned, we have two seniors (who have more sensitive tummies) that can get irritated after a fur ball or swallowing anything out of the ordinary. When this occurred, Toby & Chloe stepped in and took wonderful care of our cat duo; softening their food and even cradling while hand-feeding them for extra comfort. We truly could not have asked for more affectionate and responsible sitters. We returned to a spotlessly clean home, happy cats, and well maintained plants and pool. (They even cleaned our dusty Kitchen pendant lighting, which requires a steady hand and is definitely a time-commitment …We felt like professional housecleaners had been there!) On our way back, Toby & Chloe stayed in communication with us to monitor our arrival time, allowing them to care for our cats until just before we got home. Overall, they are very reliable and trustworthy sitters whose genuine goal is to provide a top-quality sit, while maintaining your household and seamlessly transitioning to your pets daily schedule.

I can highly recommend Whitebridge Kennels. All communication is dealt with promptly. I like the routine at the kennels. I was invited to see the individual kennels. Debbie and Malissa take great care of my dog and seem to be genuinely interested in her. They are happy to listen to any specific requirements. They have always been very accommodating with rearranging dates to suit me. There are other kennels closer to where I live , but I am prepared to take my dog to Whitebridge because I believe that she is very well cared for there, and she always goes in happily.
Malisa and Debbie are lovely people and they have looked after my dog Phoebe on several occasions now. She has come back happy and tired and we feel very lucky to have found them. Phoebe loves staying with them which makes us feel happy too. Highly recommend them.
As always my 2 springer spaniels enjoyed their stay at Whitebridge kennels, Malisa and Debbie are very caring and thoughtful. I am very glad to live close by. Cannot recommend them highly enough.
My dog has had several stays at Whitebridge now and, whilst always very happy to see me at collection time, he is also enthusiastic at arrival with lots of tail wagging and never a look back as he heads off! As long as he is happy, I'm happy!

The best kennels ever! Our dogs love staying with Malisa and Debbie and get very excited when they realise where they are going. The care and attention the dogs receive is exceptional.
This is our 4th time using White Bridge Kennels and the 1st time since change of ownership. These kennels have always been brilliant with our German Shepard which is why we always go back. The new owners are fantastic. Really friendly and very passionate about what they do. They happily catered to our dogs needs and requirements for the 5 days she was there. The Kennels are very clean and tidy, with large open fields where the dogs can play and exercise. Pricing is also very reasonable, but most importantly we have the piece of mind our dog is is in great hands and well looked after whilst away on holiday.

My dog has been going here since August 2020, I highly recommend Annas ark pet care, I chose this place due to the amount off area the dog's have to play. Anna and her partner are so friendly, my dog gets so excited to see them that he runs in and doesn't even look back, they treat all the dogs as thier own and are part of thier family. Our boy has been going to Anna’s Ark since he was around 8 months old. He’s grown in confidence since attending and is now so excited in the car when he realises he’s off there for a play. Knowing how nervous I was about leaving him, Anna would send me messages and videos in the early days to let me know how great he was doing and how much fun he was having with the other dogs. Anna, Stu and Helen are so upbeat and positive; genuinely enjoying their jobs, with their love for our pups always apparent. They are happy to offer their advice and support too. Anna has kept in contact when our boy has been poorly; offering her support, love and guidance, which I have found very touching and have very much appreciated.
Anna and Stu are now a huge part of our dogs life! You can see the joy when he’s getting collected for his weekly playtime. They are incredibly caring and always on hand for help and advice. Anna's Ark offers a brilliant service. Luna joined the family in 2020, the most beautiful Goldie ever, but due to lockdown procedures, normal socializing was difficult. Going to Anna's sorted the issues, Anna, Stuart & Helen are brilliant with the dogs, treating them as though they are their own. The care and love Luna ❤️ received was second to none. I would highly recommend Anna's Ark. Luna is always excited to go. Thankyou.
Anna, Stu and Helen looked after our dog for over a year and she absolutely loved going there. We received videos from them so we could see how happy she was running around and playing with the other dogs. She was always excited to go every day and we could relax knowing she was happy and well cared for. I think any dog that gets the opportunity to go to Anna's Ark is a very lucky one.
I can't fault Anna's Ark it's our little cockapoo's second home and she absolutely loves it! She's gone to here since she was a puppy and from day one shes loved Anna and the team. Brilliant at communicating and keeping you up to date with things and when we've needed some last minute or extra days they have been brilliant with fitting our pup in (bonus with drop off's and pick ups especially now we have another baby in the family) also Helen being a dog trainer and getting in some lessons to help through the puppy stage helped us out so much! And then the socialising with other dogs at the Ark has done wonders for our girl. Would give more than 5 stars if I could, just can't recommend enough.

Our cockapoo Nelly previously went to another daycare for a half-day trial - she whined and cried the entire four hours she was there and we were told we needed to take her to a doggy psychologist. Turns out, we just needed to take her to Anna’s Ark! Anna worked with Nelly to build up her time spent at daycare gradually and was so patient and loving with her. Nelly now gets so excited when she she realises where we are going. She often doesn’t want to leave Anna, Stu and Helen. The socialising with other dogs has been amazing for her confidence and she greets and plays with dogs so much more calmly and politely now. I could not recommend Anna’s Ark more.
Anna is the best dog sitter ever! She is reliable, trustworthy and punctual and our dog loves her to bits! He has a fantastic time when she has him and comes home absolutely exhausted! He goes into crazy puppy mode every time she comes to pick him up and we know he is safe with her. We work long hours and our son is at school so Anna’s is the perfect place for a chewy Labrador to let off some steam and not eat the whole house! We love Anna and really don’t know how we would manage without her.
From the very first contact Anna was so helpful, fitting Bella our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel of 8 months into her schedule on exactly the day and times needed. I have had so many helpful tips on feeding and nothing is too much trouble. Bella absolutely loves it at Anna’s from her morning welcome cuddle with Stu she enjoys every moment playing with the other dogs at Anna’s Ark coming home tired and happy! I can’t recommend this wonderful place highly enough.

Brilliant kennels, my three were very happy at their recent stay. I am always worried as one of mine is very nervous of other dogs but he trotted happily off and was fine!
Roxydog loved her stay at Coombe Kennels. They look after her very well and she enjoys playing with the other dogs. We were worried that a stay at the kennels would cause anxiety, but on our second visit, she was very happy to see the owner and went off happily which tells me that she is comfortable and happy there despite being away from her family. They are obviously very knowledgeable about dogs, and keep a close eye on all their doggy customers to ensure a happy and fun packed stay.
It's always a concern when you have to leave your beloved pet with a complete stranger for a few hours while they pamper your pooch, but we just found our new full time groomer! She was full of waggles when I went to pick her up and looked dapper! I think it helped that the groomer also had working cocker spaniels and new our requirements, she's so happy with her new hair do!

This field is a lifesaver! Since we started to bring our boy there, he's been such a chilled dog! The space is massive, all fenced, and Charlotte still offers you free poo bags, toys and treats. Our baby boy loves to go there and also us! It's always fun our time in the field!
Our dogs have been staying at Trixie paws from its very start. Since our buddy and Betty passed away we had a pup who has been going to Trixie paws since she was six months old and it has been a second home for her. I know she is safe, well cared for, stimulated, socialised and probably having more fun than us. Charlotte keeps us up to date on what she has been upto. They stay in a beautiful, cosy home as one of the family. Only problem is the sulking we have to cope with when they have to leave. Pippa loves Trixie Paws and so do we.
We had an amazing time. Rides for all ages. Kept lovely and clean and the staff there were friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
Super friendly to owners and dogs. Great service and helped us out while we were on holiday. 5 stars all the way.

Beech Tree Kennels

Used Beech Tree twice now and can't recommend them enough. Both our dogs love it up there, they can't wait to get there and look happy and healthy when we pick them back up. The kennels are spacious and the paddocks are huge and very secure which gives us peace of mind as one of our dogs is a bit of an escape artist! The staff are friendly and always give us updates when we are away including photos and videos which is an added bonus. Will definitely use these kennels again and thanks to all the staff there 😀
We used the enclosed dog field a couple of times while on holiday in south Milton. A great place for our dog to run around for a couple of hours. Has the bonus of a shelter for humans too.
Lucy my young mad rescue boxer is just home from a week's stay. She loved her time there and didn't really want to come home to Westward Ho! Now thinking of bringing her with her brother for the odd day away. Thanks everyone for looking after Lucy and her first stay in kennels xx We have now used the kennels 3 times with a visit in July 2023 booked. Lucy loves it and seems to have lots of fun. Staff are lovely and there is an excellent range of enclosed paddocks.
We always use Beech Tree when we go away. The dogs always seem happy on collection and they are always very good at checking any special requirements, with a large selection of different food choices, luckily we have labradors that eat anything. They also have a new play field you can rent by the hour (separate from the kennels) to exercise and train your dogs in which is great fun for them.
What can I say this is my dogs idea of heaven. Good shelter if wet just a shame some don't pick thier dog pooh up but this is not Beech Trees fault. Overall a lovely secure field and well worth the money.
We always feel safe leaving our dogs (4) here, there is plenty of running space for them. They also feed raw meat if needed.
My 3 fur babies love the staff & the paddock to run freely! (But not too freely so they can escape). They were conked for days after! Well kept place ❤️
Nikki always seems happy here. She clearly loves the staff and on pick up day usually totally ignores me and runs into the office for fusses from the ladies instead. 🤣 …
I've had dogs for years and I have never found a better place for my dog other than at home. I can't recommend it highly enough.
Great kennels, good sized kennels for your dogs and large paddocks for them to burn off energy. I never worry about my dogs while I am away and they seem to enjoy themselves too.

We thought having a dog in the throws of adolescence as bridesmaid for our big day was going to be challenging but having Ashleigh there chaperoning her not only made it possible, but made it easy & stress free. From our first contact we felt like Daisy would be in good hands. Ashleigh spent time chatting with us in the run up to the wedding finding out as much as she could about our dog as well as visiting the wedding venue to scope it out. We were able to relax fully knowing that Daisy was covered. I had lots of compliments from my family about how good Ashleigh was with her. Everyone was very impressed! Having a dog wedding chaperone was one of the best things we could have done to help our day go smoothly. Thank you Ashleigh. If I could give you 10 stars I would!!
We cannot praise Whiskers and Tails highly enough. Ashleigh puts so much thought into her work and always puts the animals welfare and development first. Benji always enjoys his walks and is so much more confident and calmer when around others dogs.
Ashleigh went above and beyond when she took care of both our cats. She always updated us to let us know how they were getting on, and took photos to send to us. We could tell how settled and happy they were and when we returned, and they appeared to be very calm and content cats. Thank you! Will definitely call upon you again when we are next away.

Used Happy Tails several times to look after our pack of six dogs and three tortoises and we can't fault their service! Last time our female was pregnant but we was kept up to date with pictures and messages and didn't have to worry at all. Our animals was very calm and happy on our return and a lot less stressed as they was kept to their routine, far better than if they had been put in a kennel! We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a top class service, we already have them booked to come again next times we are away.
I have used Happy Tails Dog Walking now on a number of occasions. They have stayed in our home to look after the cats while we have been away. We have daily updates which put our mind at rest. One of the cats is very shy but he was comfortable with Tawny and Jordan. We have always come home to an immaculate house and happy well looked after cats. I will be using them again. We used Happy Tails for the first time very recently. I can’t thank Jordan and Tawny enough. My two cats are very nervous of strangers. Jordan came twice a day to feed and take care of my two cats and the wild birds etc while away for a few days. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Thank you both so much, taking care of the cats and our homes and ensuring everything was ok. We highly recommend Happy Tails. They are very reliable and caring. Gwen our rescue Greyhound loves going for her daily walks. She is very well looked after by both Tawny and Jordan.
Jordan and Tawny are fab - professional, reliable, good communication. Our dog Molly loves them and we thoroughly recommend them to everyone! We're just sad to have moved out of their area!
My cat Charile is very wary of new people but the pet sitter was very friendly and he warmed to him straight away. I've used them to sit for my cat and dog and they have always been very attentive. It's nice that the sitter gives me daily updates of my pets well beinging. It makes me feel less anxious about being away from them. Would highly recommend. 😊
What a lifesaver!! Family health scare. Jordan rushes in to help and deal with our two elderly and fussy Labrador’s. Flexible, diligent and trustworthy. Handed him our house keys and 2 dogs with no notice and he rose to the challenge. Highly recommended. We’ll be using again. Definitely.

Kim is a life saver! She’s the kindest most lovely person and always comes to collect our crazy pup with a calm smile. Oskar is definitely a handful but Kim handles him so well - I wouldn’t trust anyone else with him but know he’ll always have the best time with her - so much so that actually he doesn’t want to come home! I was nervous about asking someone into our home and to care for our boy whilst we were away for a few days. I should not have worried. Alison came to the house and met us all and got to know our dog and was very friendly. I received photographs and updates on how he was and they showed him on walks and being very settled at home, which meant we could relax and enjoy our time away with no worries. We came home to a very happy boy and a report on how he had been whilst we were away, which was also informative and showed how Alison was interested in finding out his ways and ensuring he was also settled and not anxious without us. I cannot rate Alison enough, she helped us out at the last moment when we were going on holiday. She was friendly and informative when she visited for introductions and we felt instantly happy and reassured that she would look after our dogs. Her passion and care for looking after dogs was evident to see and how much she loved dogs!! We had regular updates and photos when we were away and was able to enjoy and relax on our holiday knowing Alison was at our home caring for my two. Dave looked after our 4 dogs whilst we got married and I cannot recommend Barnfield pets highly enough. This was our first time leaving our dogs in someone other than families care so we were a little nervous, but on meeting Dave & Sue, all of our worries disappeared! We received photo updates of the girls looking very relaxed and they were very well looked after whilst we were gone. The booking process was very easy and Alison was lovely to speak with. We have just had Alison of Barnfield Pet Services looking after our three dogs and our home for nearly a month. We cannot speak too highly of the service provided. This was the first time we had left our dogs, and we were concerned how they would react. We were reassured by daily reports and pictures and it was clear that they were enjoying the care and attention being provided. On our return, the dogs and our home were in excellent shape and we wil not hesitate to use Barnfield Pet Services in the future. Highly recommended! We contacted Alison at Barnfield Pet Services looking for a last minute wedding chaperone for our dog. Alison was super helpful & connected us with lovely Pam who came and looked after our dog at our wedding. We had great communication with Pam & Alison before our wedding planning our day. On the day Pam arrived early, and took our dog for a long walk before sprucing him up to come to our ceremony & to be a part of our photos! We didnt have to worry about our dog on the day, Pam had it all in control & we knew he was in great hands. We would recommend Barnfield Pet Services to everyone & wouldn't hesitate to use again for pet services in the future.
Kevin looked after our dogs at our wedding and I cannot recommend him and Barnfield Pet Services enough. He was incredibly conscientious leading up to the ceremony, checking in on all the details and very concerned about making sure the dogs (and we) were comfortable. On the day of he did an amazing job taking care of them. Everything ran smoothly from getting them in their outfits to making sure they were fed, hydrated and happy. He even took the time to interact with the children at our wedding, letting them play with the dogs and teaching them how to interact with animals as one had a fear of dogs. We could not have been more impressed. Having him there to take care of the dogs was one of the best decisions we made. Barnfield were also amazing in getting everything organised quickly, clearly and easily. They provided incredibly prompt and thorough responses to all our questions and the process of getting everything sorted was very easy. I As a dog owner having someone you can trust to take care of the dogs on your big day, bring them over to you for visits, and then take them away to have fun until the next one is a dream. Barnfield Pet Services has given our family a Fantastic service. Beth stayed in our home for 2 weeks and looked after our dog and cat. She was absolutely brilliant and sent us pictures and videos of them regularly and they were so happy. We felt comfortable and had peace of mind every second. When we got back home they were perfectly fine and our house was immaculate. I couldn't have asked for a better person to look after them and we would definitely ask her to come back in the future.
We can't fault our experience of Barnfield Pet Services and our lovely sitter Karen. From my first tentative enquiry Alison answered all my questions and was genuinely interested in our dogs. Karen arrived exuding calm common sense and our two girls loved her! We had a relaxed couple of days away and never once found ourselves fretting. Karen kept us well informed.
