They were patient and calm with our timid cat, and gave her enough space to make her feel comfortable. By the first evening she was already coming out of her shell with them, something which normally takes her a few days. We received regular updates. The house was in magnificent order when we returned home. We can't thank them enough for taking such good care of our home and more importantly our cat. Torti gave them a paws up, so we will definitely be asking them back!

Sarah is fantastic. She is everything we could ask for. Our 4 fur kids are the priority but she made sure our needs were exceeded and that we felt completely comfortable. She was able to meet with us before the sit, her schedule was flexible with updates to our departure and arrival dates, and she is very responsive. She stayed the night we got back to make sure there were no hiccups coming home from our road trip. The house was spotless, full water bowls, bedding washed and remade. After we got home she was still taking care of them. She fed and walked our dogs. We hope Sara is available for a future sit.

I was so lucky to get to meet Rachel before I went on my two month trip. I will for sure. Try to work with her again if things if it’s possible, what do you want a pet sitter you want someone who loves your cat and you want someone who is reliable ultra reliable so that never on your trip. You have to worry about what’s happening back home. This is what we got with Rachel, she’s disciplined and mature and low-key and we corresponded throughout the two months and she did some small things above and beyond her assignment and I literally never had to worry about my house and I never had to worry about my cat. I would hire her again in a second in fact, you would be smart to do so , honestly there’s no downsides. I would say so believe me and I think that this service is so great and I’m so lucky to get her and I think she has something like 55 star reviews now she has 51 so definitely hire her. She’s amazing.

"A relaxing and long time away from home made possible by the best pet & house sitters we could have asked for!" Judy and Steph went the extra mile over their entire one month stay at our home. Both our cats became fast friends thanks to the care and dedication provided for them. We were routinely updated with spectacular photos of our furry girls throughout our leave that helped us be anxiety-free the entire time. Even our older shy cat spent time sleeping on their laps or hanging out on shoulders. As for the house, Judy and Steph left it even cleaner than when they arrived! We had a few tasks to maintain the lawn and potted plants outside, which were completed perfectly. They even tended to our vegetable garden where needed! During a 'risk of severe hail storm' alert, Judy and Steph kept us in the loop and went even further to place potted plants under shelter out of harms way. In summary, we recommend Judy and Steph and would happily have them return again if our schedules cross paths.

I am struggling with naming our top adjective to describe Michael and Jeanne. "Conscientious" will likely be it but then again, "personable," "reliable," "organised," and "animal-loving" are top contenders. If you are reading this review and contemplating inviting this couple to watch your pets, then look no further. We have had a number of excellent house sitters but this pair was next level in terms of the love they showed our cats, Maxx and Nala. When we came back, we could our animals already missed them. These cats, who have never slept with anyone other than us, were getting in bed with them each night -- and that meant climbing stairs! The day before our trip, Nala got an ear infection and had to be put on steroids for asthma. Michael and Jeanne did not sign up for that when the sit was booked but they took it in stride. In the last-minute rush, I relayed that Nala needed her oral steroids morning and night. Michael read the RX label, indicating one dose a day, and contacted the vet to clarify. So you can see why "conscientious" is right up there. They saved Nala from an overdose! We were gone three weeks and they sent us just the right amount of pictures and videos. They bought cat toys (I forgot to put ours out!) and actively engaged with them, including 20-minute massages for Maxx. I truly believed them when they said they fell in love with our fur babies. The house was spotless (which was not important to me but truly appreciated) but I smiled when all six water stations in our yard were filled. They took seriously my love for and the needs of the wildlife in our yard. Our plants were all in good condition as well. Sensing they were "next level" when I met them, I predicted they would want to leave a meal for us upon our return. I asked them not to but they found another way to bow out with class. They made a donation to a nonprofit I work with instead. This I learned from the lovely thank you note they left. I hope they will consider Charles and I friends because we certainly feel that way about them now. What special people. If you book them, treat them well because they are going to do that for you for sure.

Becca was fantastic - we cannot say enough about how great she is as a pet and house sitter and as a human being! Becca committed to the sit 8 months in advance and was great with her responsiveness in communication during the long lead up to the sit. She arrived early and got the low downs on the animals and house stuff prior to us leaving. She woke up crazy early to help us get to the airport and picked us up when we returned, which made the traveling so much easier on our end. She left the house spot-less (and this is no exaggeration), with the linens cleaned, and a wonderful meal waiting for us upon our return. She is an absolute gem of a person with a great sense of humor and a kind and compassionate nature, and she really enjoys the animals in her care. Our dog and cat were very well cared for and totally at ease upon our return. If you are lucky enough to have Becca sit for you, you will be very pleased at how well she does the job!

Susan and Miranda are amazing! I've had the pleasure of working with many sitters and they are truly exceptional. They were great at keeping in touch, sent lots of updates, asked good questions, really bonded with the cats, clearly very experienced working with animals and understanding their needs, and generally lovely to deal with. They were really patient putting up with a whole bunch of deliveries and even assembled a spare bed! They also left the place spotless with clean sheets on the bed. I'm pretty sure the cats loved Susan and Miranda more than us by the end of their stay! I'd highly recommend them to anyone and would love to have them stay again any time.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Kathryn! I needed to extend dates for the sit after we had set it up and she was able to accommodate this so was actually here from 10/4-20. She was timely and communicative throughout - and she is a very nice person. She kept the house really tidy and followed all instructions well. My cats took to her quickly. When I returned, they had been very well cared for and seemed fully content even though I'd never left them for long before. While away, I reached out to Kathryn by text several times regarding deliveries, etc. She was very prompt in responding and adept at handling issues as they arose. My husband and I reached out to Toby & Chloe after reading their profile and impressive reviews only a week before our trip, since our scheduled sitter had to cancel at the last moment. They were very friendly and quick to respond to chat from the very beginning, and ended up exceeding our expectations during their two week stay. It was evident they had thoroughly read our Welcome Guide beforehand, as they arrived knowledgeable and prepared to care for our home and pets. They were very willing and happy to take the necessary time with us to walk through the house and meet our cats, as we got them acclimated with our daily routines and answered any questions. Shortly after we left, our city had a heat wave come through, and after immediately notifying us, Toby went beyond the call of duty and inspected our struggling AC unit to pinpoint the issue. As far as cat care is concerned, we have two seniors (who have more sensitive tummies) that can get irritated after a fur ball or swallowing anything out of the ordinary. When this occurred, Toby & Chloe stepped in and took wonderful care of our cat duo; softening their food and even cradling while hand-feeding them for extra comfort. We truly could not have asked for more affectionate and responsible sitters. We returned to a spotlessly clean home, happy cats, and well maintained plants and pool. (They even cleaned our dusty Kitchen pendant lighting, which requires a steady hand and is definitely a time-commitment …We felt like professional housecleaners had been there!) On our way back, Toby & Chloe stayed in communication with us to monitor our arrival time, allowing them to care for our cats until just before we got home. Overall, they are very reliable and trustworthy sitters whose genuine goal is to provide a top-quality sit, while maintaining your household and seamlessly transitioning to your pets daily schedule.

Jose was a wonderful pet/house sitter for us recently. We highly recommend him. He was wonderfully reliable and responsible and took such good care of our two pets. On short notice Jose drove down from Grass Valley to the East Bay for a bit of a quiet get-away while working a really hard job teaching online. We know how hard that is firsthand and partly why we needed our own get-away for a last-minute backpacking trip. We have a recently rescued pit bull and a rescued cat that we're still introducing to each other to make sure the dog doesn't eat the cat (as he seems to want to), and the cat doesn't blind the dog (as she would if he tried to eat her). That might be more background than is needed in a review but Jose made us feel comfortable about everything because of how conscientious and responsible he clearly is. We could tell when we talked to him that he was genuinely kind and eminently trustworthy. We are very grateful and hope Jose was happy with everything too because we know what a value his care was to us. Jose truly deserves any and all house-sitting gigs that strike his interest. Ours was not the easiest and he was amazing. Get him if you can.

Cat and Paul sat for me in December and kept a watchful eye on my trusty sidekick Jake. All I can say is my gosh what a great job they did giving Jake a lot of TLC. He obviously missed them since he wandered around our home looking for them after their departure. My home was left in the exact same condition and they did a great job of communicating with me during my trip, letting me know exactly how Jake was getting along. I can't thank them enough for taking great care of my home and showing Jake a great time. I hope that during the coming year they will volunteer to do another sit for me. Fuzzy stayed here for 3 weeks for his first stay ever! He was well taken care of, when I went to pick him up he was so clean, happy, and doing very well. I did call in to check on the little guy a few times and everything sounded great! Also afforable prices!
I began boarding my dogs at Homeland Pet Hotel last fall when I had to go out of town for a funeral. At that time, we had three dogs. One was 13, one was 4 and one was 1. I called several facilities and none wanted to board our 13 year old. Although he was not on medication or special diet, they were afraid to care for him due to his age. Al at Homeland accepted all our dogs. He asked for their vets name and the maximum we’d reimburse them in event of an emergency. We asked for a pre-boarding tour and was welcome to visit during business hours. We saw a facility with many secure chain link kennels. There is a separate exercise area. They take dogs out alone or in their family pack. The place is kept clean and no unpleasant smells were detected. There is a separate room for small dogs and another for cats. In the main section medium to large dogs are boarded in appropriate sized kennels. Overall, the service is excellent. It’s the first place we’ve boarded our dogs where they are eager to go to. So far, we’ve boarded our dogs on four separate occasions and our doggies leave happy each time.
Have boarded our single dog here probably a dozen tines in the last 2ish years, always comes home smelling nice and well-cared for. We recently adopted a second dog, and I picked them both up today after a 2-week stay. They both look excellent, were very happy and aren't too stinky, even after being there 2 weeks. The folks who work there are friendly and competent, we've never had any issues and would recommend them to anyone who needs to board their pet. Pic is on the car ride home today, she's smiling😍
The first time I ever boarded my two dogs, I was so nervous. My 14 year old had never been away before. That was 3 years ago. They have gone to Homeland Pet Hotel maybe 10 times since. They actually are excited to be there. Staff is very caring. Kennels are spotless. But the fact that Bo and Guinness are happy there means everything.

We recently boarded our Labrador and German Shorthaired Pointer at Homeland Pet Hotel for a week, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. The staff took excellent care of our active dogs, ensuring they were well-exercised and happy. When I called to check in, they were friendly and provided thorough updates on how our dogs were doing. The prices are reasonable, and the resort itself is beautiful and well-maintained. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend Homeland Pet Hotel to other pet owners!

Ines is the best Petsitter I’ve used over the years. She is very responsive, reliable and took photos and videos of my bird which made me feel at ease leaving a young bird in her care. Great service! Ines came to my house and cared for my 4 dogs. She feeds them, cleans up after them, gives meds, and plays with them. Every time she comes to the house she texts an update and sends pics! I didn’t have to worry at all about my babies!

What, oh what can I say about her pet sitting business!!! She is an absolutely lovely woman. I never, ever fear leaving my dog with Inez. Mick goes nuts when the car turns off the Main Street and heads into her neighborhood!!! I can’t control him on his leash.....he just loves Inez, her 🏡 and her other pets she takes care of!!!! I am not sure how she does it all. Mick (our Maltese) would surely rather live with her!!! She also takes care of pets in their own homes daily when their owners are at work. Really not sure how she feeds, walks, plays with all these pets. I can NOT recommend Inez high enough. I will just let my dog, Mick, give the recommendation!!!🦮🐶🦴🦴💕💕
From the day we meet Ines, both my husband & I knew she was a perfect fit to watch our Booboo kitty while we were out of town. Ines sent us messages of how kitty was doing along with pictures. We will definitely be using her services next time we go out of town and need a sitter for our little guy.
I had never left my two 6 yr old cockatiels with anyone before, let alone for 12 days! They are super social and out of the cage whenever we’re home. They also experience night frights sometimes and will literally beat themselves bloody unless calmed by someone. So I was reluctant to leave them in anyone’s hands. Ines did a meet and greet with us and the birds a couple weeks before we left them. I knew from her demeanor at that meeting, my birds would be in the best possible care. And they were! Ines sent me videos and daily updates. I don’t think they wanted to leave “bird camp”! Lol 😆 Ines is remarkable snd very knowledgeable... super organized and she always puts the animals in her care first, I will never hesitate to leave my babies with her again in the future.

I recently moved to CA and needed someone to watch my two dogs for a few days while out of town. I'm very paranoid about leaving my babies with people I don't know because they are my family and also, weimaraners are unique and not all people understand their needs/behaviors. The moment Gen walked into my house for a meet and greet, I knew she would be the perfect fit. She kept me well informed of how my dogs were doing and sent me pics and videos. I had zero concerns the whole time I was away and new my babies were being treated with love. We recently left our one year old Golden Doodle Malibu for the first time with Gen B’s Happy Paws.I interviewed several people before deciding on Gen B’s Happy Paws.I could tell by the daily videos and photos that Malibu was having fun with the other dogs and was well cared for. We recently met and booked Gennifer for service when we planned to be out of town with family. We were hesitant in finding the right match for our needs: in-home sitter, large breed dogs, elderly dog + medication needs, and very attached — needing lots of attention. After first meeting Gennifer, I knew she was perfect because she came more well prepared for our meet and greet than I was. She asked questions that I wouldn’t have even thought of. She’s extremely thorough, so I knew she was going to take the best care of them (specifically the way we would want). Gennifer is even careful enough to ask how we normally feed/do things, so she kept things as familiar/routine as possible. We opted for 2 (1-hour) visits each day. Every visit, I had constant contact with Gennifer along with video updates, photos and updates on their appetite, mood, etc.! When it got colder, she even started putting Pinto’s jacket on for the nights. It was sad knowing they were alone during the long days/nights, but I knew they were so well loved, played with, and cared for every time she visited. I HIGHLY recommend Gennifer for all your pet services! We will be using her, exclusively from now on!!

Gen took care of our French Bulldog while we were on vacation. She came very highly recommended by a trusted friend. We couldn't be happier with how she lovingly cared for our cherished pup. The best place ever to take your dogs! Heidi is so kind to all the animals. She has 30 years experience. Her place is clean! On a ranch so lots of room for the dogs to run around. Her grooming skills are a plus!
She locked our dogs up in a 1car garage, and left the bag of dog food we brought in with them! Of course my dogs got into the food and ruined a brand new large bag of dog food... Why on earth would she leave it in the garage with them??! We have boarded our dogs dozens of times at multiple places and never had an issue. At least one of our dogs had a panic attack from this prison cell and scraped up some of the wall by the door. Apparently. She was so upset by this that she called us at 5:30AM to tell us to come get our dogs!... We paid her 600$ for the weekend and I had to cancel our plans to go get our dogs! And SHE DIDNT GIVE ME OUR MONEY BACK! She said we signed a contract that said we're responsible for anything. But I swear I think she caused the damage. It just didn't look like a dog caused it. And if it was our dogs its because she put all 4 of them in a pitch black tiny garage. My dogs have always been fine and never done anything like this! But she ROBBED us because you can't keep the money we paid for a service. You refund our money and bill us the the minor repair cost. Which wouldn't be even close to what we paid. A small pice of drywall... Her yard is full of rotted wood and other questionable barriers and theres no dog run. Its just her front yard. We were livid and almost called the police. Should have, but I didn't feel like the hassle being so upset.
This person answer all my questions and was helpful too , she is the owner of this place . And yes she grooms cats too very pretty and relaxing to talk to 👍 this what we need around here not like some others places …

This was my first experience with boarding my pet, and unfortunately, it will be my last. We usually rely on family for pet sitting, but this time they were unavailable and needed a professional service. Liz’s Lovable Pet Care seemed promising based on reviews, so we decided to give it a try. Liz and her husband assured us our pet wouldn’t be crated and would receive regular updates and photos. At drop-off, Liz wasn’t present due to an emergency, but we saw the space where our dog would stay and received some initial photos. However, updates were sporadic, and on Sunday morning, I had to follow up for an update. When we got home we noticed he had a sticky coat and a urine-soaked blanket, and his paws were raw and bloody. The vet later confirmed dermatitis from contact with the soiled blanket. We contacted Liz for the medications they forgot to return and at this time they had an opportunity to explain our concerns. We received no explanation or apology. Despite her promises, we saw no proof of the care she claimed to provide. Be cautious when choosing a boarding service for your pet.
We were headed out of town and wanted to work with a local small business for the care of our pup. Liz and Gent were great! I met them on a Wednesday with Athena to do a meet and greet. They let me know what all to bring like food, dog bed, toys, etc… and how much the stay would cost. There are no hidden fees here. I received photos and status updates daily while on vacation. Liz is also reasonably flexible with pick up times. We will definitely bring our pup to Liz’s for all of our doggy hotel needs.
Liz is an absolute blessing! She did drop-ins for my cats and boarded my dog at the same time. She and her husband came for a meet and greet and really took their time asking about their habits and schedules so she could keep their routines. My dog is a little shy, but Liz and her pups formed an instant bond that was so lovely to see. While away, I received photos and updates that kept me smiling. I came home to happy, healthy pets, no mess, and a new go-to sitter. Liz is prompt, communicative, kind, committed and obviously adores and is very educated about animals.
Liz and her husband watched my dog Maverick when he was 6 months old and again at 1 year old. She provided updates and photos once a day and ensures he was kept cool during the hot wether. They ask a bunch of questions to ensure they keep the same schedule for him and make sure they know everything about him to make him more comfortable. He was extremely happy when I returned which is always a good sign. I have to appreciate their patience for my very hyper and shedding pup!
Liz and Gent are absolutely wonderful! I’m so happy to finally have found this wonderful couple that lives nearby, is extremely detail oriented, and best of all they’re total dog lovers. It is very reassuring leaving our dogs with very trustworthy people. They are very responsible with our pups and take their health and security very seriously. We were able to see where our dogs would be which helped ease our minds before we left for vacation, and they were very communicative when it came to any questions we had. We also got updates and pictures to reassure us they were ok… and the best sign that they were in good hands was how happy they were after their stay. I have a chihuahua and he wears anxiety if he’s uncomfortable and he was the happiest little guy after staying with them. I absolutely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a personalized boarding stay for their dogs!
Liz and Her husband are so nice and so knowledgeable about our dogs breed. He loves going over there! It has been so wonderful to find somebody that we trust to watch our dogs!
I had a last minute trip and I found Liz online. I am really pleased with how she took care of Marley. I felt the genuine love and care she has for dogs at the meet and greet. Will definitely be using her again the future. Thanks again Liz!!
Having a new puppy, I was uncomfortable leaving my dog with anyone, but when I met Liz and her husband for the first time with Koa (my dog), they quickly they bonded. That’s when I knew everything was going to be ok. After my vacation was over and I picked Koa up, he was full of joy. I’m very fortunate that I met Liz and her husband. They’re definitely going to be my go to whenever I go out of town.
Lizette took care of our senior 13 y/o maltipoo for over 2 weeks. She send us updates and even gave him a bath before our pick up. She is highly recommended.
Liz is absolutely amazing. I’ve used her at least 4 times and I would highly recommended dropping off your pup with her.

I brought my dog in for doggy day care and I’m so happy I did! My dog had a wonderful time, he was enjoying running around all day with his new friends. Jackie made sure he was comfortable with the other dogs before I left and sent me pictures of how he was doing. JT Pet Care is a very nice place that was clean and the animals are well cared for. I needed a really good daycare business for my Setter. My boy is young and full of energy and therefore needs LOTS of space to run. I am happy leaving him with this business because after only 3 visits he already knows when we turn into Jackie’s driveway. He is ready to go before I can turn off the ignition! Jackie pairs dogs well with group energy appropriate for your companion. The property is well maintained, safe and clean. The prices are more than fair and appropriate for daycare and boarding.
Took my two fur babies for overnight stays. Jackie is so wonderful. Her center is such an awesome place for them. We are so grateful for her!
We wanted to go camping for a few nights and needed to have someone watch our two chihuahuas. Our dogs have always been by our side and my wife was very reluctant to leave them anywhere. We decided to go with JC Pet Care after reading there reviews and dropping by to see the location and meet Jackie. You get to fill out a profile page about your pet, so Jackie gets to know about your pets routines and habits. Also, you can bring your pets bedding, food, and snacks that they are accustomed to eating. On our trip my wife texted Jackie to see how the dogs were doing and she responded immediately and sent some pictures of our dogs, very cool. When we went to pick up the dogs after our trip they seemed not to recognize us for a second. I believe they were enjoying themselves and did not want to go home. They looked well feed and very happy. We would definitely recommend this facility to friends and family.
First time boarding our dogs and they did great here. They sent pictures and our dogs were always happy. This is a lovely place to bring your "children". JC has a great setup, lots of space to roam, and she genuinely cares about each dog. We will definitely be going back.
Jackie did a wonderful job taking care of our cats for us!! Her property is like Heaven, beautiful and peaceful. Our cats had their own cat house with air conditioning!! I would recommend JC Petcare to anyone looking for peace of mind for the care of their pets!!
We love JC Pet Care for our pups AND our pups love spending time here!! It is truly the best place for day care and boarding when we have to be away from our pups for work or social event. When our pups are going to be enjoying a day care day or spending the night at “Jackie’s Ranch” as we affectionately call it, our pups get SO excited. We never have to worry about our two young labs when they are at JC Pet Care because we know they are being loved and cared for and enjoying so much fun!! Since our first visit, we have felt so blessed to have found such a wonderful place!! 💜🐶🐶💜 It is like a pet care/pet boarding dream come true for pet parents. Thank you Jackie!! This place is the best. It is obvious they really love dogs. I don’t know how they keep the place so clean. Our dog is not easy on any level. He does not acknowledge he is a dog. He basically just ignores all the other dogs. He just wants to be with his people. They just accept him as he is, in all his whiteness. We are so grateful to JC Petcare. We have used them for overnights and for over three weeks. No worries; we know he is in good hands.

My dog and I love this place! Huge property on 5 acres with many different play areas. Jackie keeps the place very clean and is so wonderful with the dogs. She is also a veterinary technician, so I know if anything does happen my dog is in great hands. I would highly recommend the place to all friends and family.
