I have personally used Greycations many many times, and what can I say apart from it's the best !!! Sharon does everything with the utmost professionalism and care. I always know my dog is in such safe hands. She looks after 1 dog at a time, so all of her time and attention is with that 1 dog. She takes them on a few lovely long walks a day (weather permitting), as well as following the dogs spcific routine, diet anf requests. Somtimes she will take my wee whippet Anubis on walks with other sighthounds as she knows his temperament, and is great he gets to socialise with other sighthounds while I'm away. Anubis has recently put on some weight, so she even helped keep him on a strict diet and walked him lots which aided in him loosing a little weight over the 2 weeks. Over his staycation with Sharon for the 2 weeks, she would update me every now and then with some lovely photos, videos and just generally how he was doing. She is trustworthy, personable, so warm, welcoming, sweet, friendly, loves dogs of course, and has previously fostered greyhounds. She is everything you would wish for from someone who is going to look after your wee furry member of your family. Her house is lovely and well-adapted for a dog to stay there, lots of soft bedding and soft blankets on the floor, and a private garden at the rear. She never lets a dog off-lead apart from in her own secure garden, which is reassuring. Basically, she treats every dog like it was her own, and does an amazing job. Anubis loves her. And my whippet I had before Anubis, Shadow, loved her a lot too. She even sent me a beautiful bouquet of flowers when he passed away. Her son owns a whippet who sometimes may join for a walk if she knows the dynamic will be good between them. But she will take very good care of your dog, even if they aren't good with other dogs, she will give them so much 1 on 1 time, walks, love, playtime and attention. I couldn't recommend her more highly. Just please leave a few weeks in her diary free so i can use her for Anubis every year... heheee...! Teejay had her first ever week away from us and didn't miss us one bit 😆. Greycations looked after her so well, stuck to her routine, and she settled quickly. We had regular updates and photos which meant we enjoyed the break even more, knowing she was being spoiled rotten. Would highly recommend, and will use again if I can get in quick enough!

Sharon and her husband are great, Doris loved her time on her greycation, It was a home away from home as you can see, lots of new sniffs and exploring. She will definitely be back.

Greycations provide an excellent service - a real home from home. We know that Lolly is safe and very well looked after. Sharon takes great care to learn the dietary, behavioural and social needs of your pup and adapts her approach to ensure that your needs are fully met. The service is so good that we drive a 2hr round trip journey to have our pup board with her. Thank you Greycations!

Used greycations a few times, dedicated, professional, always went above and beyond with our dogs. Went to collect them once and they were in the garden on dog beds with sun shades ...thought they would refuse to come home!

Sent my greyhound here for 4 nights recently. Owners were really good with him. They took him on adventures, gave him treats and sent us photo updates every day. The price is also really good! It's 1 to 1 care but costs less than most local kennels.

Another great stay for my Sonny. He adores Sharon and her husband and settles with no bother. Regular updates and photos received during his visit. It’s the only place you should board your greyhound. ☺️

Excellent place to board your dog. Half the time I leave thinking my dog wants to stay. They are that good.

I cant yet speak to how our dogs feel as they have not stayed but the lady owner was charming showed us arround offered advise and discused cost. Its not new but dose seem well run safe place for your dogs. With family boxs and family walks if you have more than one dog

Highly reccomend these kennels both my dogs just love it there and when i collected them they both were crying they didnt want to leave and both were still crying until half way pass ibm road. Happy dogs equals happy owner.

Toby used to come home very tired and with no voice from other kennels and wouldn't be himself for days, but when he came home from flatterton farm he bounced through the door and started playing with his toys as if he had never been away! I don't know what they do different but it's nice bringing home a happy bouncy dog.

Can't thank the staff enough for looking after my collie for 8 days. Wilma was very caring and reassuring as it was the first time Millie had been away from us. We collected her yesterday and she was happy and healthy. We will definitely be using their services again next time we need Millie looked after.

Our cats were well looked after when we were on holiday last year, so they stayed again this year. Will definitely use again.

We left our boxer Ivy with Wilma at Flatterton Farm Kennels and she was looked after so well. Flatterton was recommended to us and I pleased to say Ivy looked well and happy when we picked her up.

This is a friendly family business with good facilities. You deal directly with the owners and your pets are well looked after. All pets have plenty of space to exercise.

Couldn't ask anymore. Staff are so friendly and welcoming . It shows how much they care for your beloved per . I can't thank them enough for the quick actions they undertook when my dog became very poorly

Fantastic kennels would recommend to anybody we have used them for a number of years we got them recommend to us by our old vet as that was she used

We use the kennels for our dog for holidays etc ... been coming with our dogs for years ... can't praise or recommend them enough ..

My springer was a nightmare to walk. She was scared of her own shadow and reactive to dogs/ people. With Karen’s support and advice, she is much happier and not reactive when out walking. We are even managing to walk at night in areas with lots of other dogs and people. I would definitely recommend contacting Karen to support you with your dog

I can highly recommend Karen, very knowledgeable, with a calm, friendly manner. I could only walk my 2 year old cocker spaniel Toby with a head collar (which he didn’t like) to slow him down as he pulled so much. He’s a great wee dog but being a lively spaniel he sets off on walks like a steam train. After 3 sessions I walk him with a harness and now know what to do to have him walking at my pace with a loose lead, something I felt was impossible before. Karen sent videos to reinforce what had been worked on each session and responded quickly to any issues which arose when walking Toby in between sessions. The training for proximity and disengagement has also improved his recall so off lead walks are also much more enjoyable. I’m delighted with how much Karen’s training has helped both Toby and I enjoy our walks together.

I couldn’t recommend Karen highly enough to anyone looking for a kind, informative and professional dog walker and trainer. My two dogs adore her, my older dog has benefitted massively from her K9 massage for his arthritic joints and is able to move around easier, it’s like having a puppy again! My younger pup has also benefited from Karen’s knowledge and patience with her training plans, I was amazed (and thankful) at how quickly he picked it up.

Prior to the massage treatments, my dog (Iyke) was at times crossing his front legs when walking and was quite stiff in his mobility. Following the massage treatments by Karen, Iyke is no longer crossing his front legs and he has a lot more flexibility when he walks. A big difference I have also seen is that previously there were certain occasions on walks where I may have to carry Iyke towards the end, however following his massage treatments, Iyke has been able to complete particular walks again without any issues – overall it has been a big improvement for the little guy and Karen was absolutely fantastic in supporting Iyke to relax, which is no easy feat for a Jack Russell! I cannot recommend Karen highly enough and will be booking further massage treatments for my little guy 💙

I booked 3 training sessions with Karen for my little Jack Russell rescue dog, Teddy, who is seriously freaked out by other dogs and barks aggressively. Karen has given me great guidelines on how to tackle my dog's issues and I am now optimistic that I might see some improvement.

Karen has been a dream helping us with our cockapoo pup Ruby. Ruby was always pulling on her lead when going out on walks. Karen with all her knowledge showed us the best way to stop Ruby from pulling and walks are not as stressful.. Lots of other advice and games to keep her busy but also help with her behaviour in the house. Thank you Karen, knowing you are at the other end of the phone is an added bonus 😀

Karen has helped so much with training my young lab - particularly with loose lead walking and helping him focus on me in the face of distractions. All positive reinforcement based. Highly recommend!

Very friendly and knowledgable. Karen came to us a couple of times to look after our Husky as we stayed on a large camping site. Karen gave us a much needed brake to allow us to have a day exploring without the need to check if a place was dog friendly. The training she did also helped in some areas our dog needed. We highly recommend her!

Our golden Retriever has come on in leaps and bounds with Karen. He now walks without pulling on his lead. He comes back when called. I am very pleased with how things are going plus he loves Karen. She has also been training me as well!!

I can’t praise Karen enough for her patience and skill with both me and my staffy, Spock. She explains everything clearly and there’s plenty of support outside of the sessions too. She’s an absolute gem and I’m so grateful she is able to housesit from time to time. Not only does Spock have a fantastic time with some training thrown in but she takes scrupulous care of my home. I can’t recommend highly enough.

I have two very elderly cats and have used North Ayrshire Pet Sitters for a few years. They have been great making sure both cats are safe and well and providing the daily medication. Its reassuring to get regular pictures and updates. Highly recommend their services.

North Ayrshire Pet sitters have looked after our 2 cats for over a year and I cannot recommend them highly enough. I have had many occasions this year where I have had to travel down south for family emergencies and Lorraine has always managed to accommodate me and I’ve not had to worry about my cats once.

As one of North Ayrshire Pet Sitters earliest customers the fact that we are still using their service a decade later speaks for itself. We are now on our second generation of cats and always have complete peace of mind that they are being taken care of properly; not simply fed but getting play and fussing during the visits. We receive daily updates with pictures, and we know that we will come home to find them well tended and befriended.

Absolutely outstanding service from Lorraine and Lorna. Otto has come on no end with his confidence and is now out walking alongside his pals and spends the weekend sulking until Monday comes around again.

Highly recommend Lorraine at North Ayrshire Pet Sitters. I have been using Lorraine for about 2 years since our eldest cat found it too stressful to go to cattery. Lorraine comes to the house, feeds them, sends updates and nothing is too much trouble, especially when I forget to leave extra treats. She also looks after the chickens, which is an added bonus. The kids love to get a picture through of the cats snoozing around the house. I trust Lorraine 100% and throughout the recent covid times she has put in extra reassuring measures. Highly recommend

We have an oddball assortment of rescue and ex-feral cats so a cattery isn’t really an option for us. Also, asking friends or relatives to look in on our cats twice a day feels a bit too much when everyone is busy….but, thankfully, Lorraine from North Ayrshire Pet Sitters came to our rescue! We were able to go away for an over-night break, safe in the knowledge that Lorraine would be popping in to feed them their breakfast and dinner and making sure they were all ok. Lorraine sent us a wee picture of the cats when she popped in to see them, and I have to say it was really nice to see them looking content whilst we weren't there and gave us great peace of mind. We returned home to very happy cats! Based on our recent experience I would 100% highly recommend Lorraine from North Ayrshire Pet Sitters to anyone looking for a pet sitter.

Lorraine at North Ayrshire Pet Sitters has been looking after my 8 month pup for the last year and has been very accommodating with late requests due to my work schedule. She has been really great with my lab and always sends photos when out on walks or playing which is good updates. Lorraine is good with nervous or wary dogs as she is very patient and understanding .

I've been using this business for over 18 months now & Lorraine has taken my dog for walks in all kinds of weather, she has never let us down. I am disabled & was worried about my dog not getting enough exercise or having to be left alone too long while I attend hospital appointments so called on this business to help, I have never regretted it. My dog waits at the window for her to arrive every time so he's obviously happy & that's what I wanted. Trustworthy, cheerful & reliable, her attention to detail due to the Coronavirus lately has to be admired, her van has everything she needs to keep herself & her 'clients' safe. Highly recommend this business to look after your pets.

Lady Roxy loves Doggy Carers. waiting impatiently every morning for one of the team to pick her up.. so excited to see them every day. The fun she has with the other dogs makes her so happy and always tired out at the end of the day. We have used Doggy Carers for boarding on several occasions and its just like home from home for Roxy. A clean, safe, fun environment for dogs to have some great times and be looked after just as they would be at home.

I use Doggy Carers every day to walk and look after my dog while I work. He waits patiently at the window and is so excited to be picked up. He absolutely loves his time with the other dogs. The team are friendly, professional and great with the dogs. Highly recommend this service.

Boarded our 2 dogs for the first time when we recently went on a cruise.Very professional set up, dogs were introduced gradually to detect any signs of aggression. Videos were posted on Facebook daily so we could see them on their walks which they thoroughly enjoyed. Dogs appeared to have a great couple of weeks socialising with their doggy friends.

Our dog Clyde has been very well looked after by Rhona. He started in the beginning with puppy visits, Rhona was so attentive to him and he had a great time playing in the garden. Over the last few months, when ill-health has restricted our dog-walking activities, Rhona has proved to be a life-saver. She has formed a strong bond with Sullie, our hyper-active Springer and they both seem to really enjoy their outings.

Had need for dog daycare to attend family funeral at short notice, Chris couldn’t have been more accommodating. Very helpful and kind, lovely kennel and beds, complete with toys , my collies were very happy and safe which was a weight off my mind at a difficult time. Highly recommend. We needed a kennel for Sam and we found this lovely kennel just outside Dunoon. The kennels are great, a nice bed including toys and an outdoor erea and it is all spotless clean. The owners will do everything to make your dog feel at home and they realy looked after Sam and that gives us peace of mind. This was the second time for Sam and for sure not the last time.

Fantastic boarding kennels and cattery. Have used Ardnadam for both my cats and dogs several times, and received regular updates throughout their stay. Highly recommend.

Cancelled booking with us via email with 2 weeks notice, we needed kennel as we were going sailing. Now need to find another just as we're leaving to ccome to Scotland. When asked for reason "ongoing Covid situation".....you can't catch it from Dogs.
