Pares is an experienced and quality sitter and we knew our cat Juniper (and a few plants) was well cared for. We received regular updates and photos which was really nice to have during our travels. While we missed Juniper, we could see that she enjoyed receiving cuddles and attention from Pares. Upon returning home, our flat was clean and tidy, and Juniper was very happy! Thank you for taking care of her!

I feel that Julia is simply the best person and pet sitter I could ask for.  They really cared for our cat and gave him lots of attention.  She is flexible, upbeat, reliable, considerate and great at communicating.  I highly recommend Julia and Chris.

Kathy and Ron have sat for us several times in the past and have always been excellent. They are our "go-to" pet and house sitters and we always check their availability before we post a sit. Brian is a very professional sitter that does a good job, pays attention to details and is easy to work with. I have a lot of plants. A lot. He suggested me do a video for the plant care so he could be sure of which ones needed what. Brilliant! I’d never thought of that. They were in great shape when I returned. 
I explained that I needed some flexibility with travel dates, he agreed and rolled with the punches like a champ when my dates did indeed change. Unfortunately, he was a bit allergic to my cat but made it work anyway. He was really awesome about everything including a tree that fell next door in a storm and blocked the road for three days. I appreciate that he appreciated how funny and how much personality Boo has. They got along well and I received some great videos. I returned home to a happy cat and a house well taken care of 😊. I would definitely recommend Brian.

Marianna was an incredible house sitter and cat sitter. She gave our property and sweet kitty top notch care. She is kind, easy to communicate with, thorough, etc. Would highly recommend her, you will not be disappointed.

Marshmallow loved Kimberly instantly and our cats (who can be a little standoffish) opened up right away with her. Heidi was an outstanding cat sitter for my Luna!  She was very communicable via calls or texts.  She followed all my guidelines for feeding and care of Luna.  Luna was very content when I arrived home thanks to Heidi!  My home was immaculate when I arrived and she did some snow shoveling.  She even pulled a large broken tree branch off my roof following a windstorm.  I hope Heidi is available for my next trip because she is awesome.

Jose was a wonderful pet/house sitter for us recently. We highly recommend him. He was wonderfully reliable and responsible and took such good care of our two pets.  

On short notice Jose drove down from Grass Valley to the East Bay for a bit of a quiet get-away while working a really hard job teaching online.  We know how hard that is firsthand and partly why we needed our own get-away for a last-minute backpacking trip.

We have a recently rescued pit bull and a rescued cat that we're still introducing to each other to make sure the dog doesn't eat the cat (as he seems to want to), and the cat doesn't blind the dog (as she would if he tried to eat her). That might be more background than is needed in a review but Jose made us feel comfortable about everything because of how conscientious and responsible he clearly is. We could tell when we talked to him that he was genuinely kind and eminently trustworthy.

We are very grateful and hope Jose was happy with everything too because we know what a value his care was to us. Jose truly deserves any and all house-sitting gigs that strike his interest. Ours was not the easiest and he was amazing.  Get him if you can.

We've had many pet/house sitters over the last few years and Cat and Eugene will reside at the top of the list of favorites!  From my first email with Cat I knew I liked her.  She has all of the qualities of a good house and pet sitter:  Reliable, a good listener, organized, flexible, caring, and honest.  She and Eugene arrived exactly on time for our pre-sit visit, where they got to meet Maya and become familiarized with the house.  It was a delight to visit with them and become comfortable knowing Maya would be in good hands.   Our scheduled dates changed somewhat and they were extremely flexible and easy going about the changes.  Upon our return home, we found the house pretty much in the exact condition we left it in.  I can tell that great care was taken for Maya and for the house.  Maya seemed to still be looking for them the next day, wandering around the house wondering where the other people who loved her went.  I would recommend Cat and Eugene for anyone looking for reliable, kind, respectful, caring, tidy, and honest sitters.  If I am lucky, I will get to have them back to sit for me again.
