This was our first time using Zeewoi and we were very nervous in embarking on this. However we couldnt have been happier with Lea & Sean. We had seen from their reviews and in person video call that they are very reliable and experienced pet/ house sitters. Plus they are obviously real dog lovers who look after your four legged family members as if they were their own. They arrived 2 days before our trip which worked out well as we could then show them favourite walks and familarise them with our house & garden. Bailey & Lola took to them immediately. Bailey had to wear a cone due to a hot spot she kept licking, and they were vigilant in ensuring she wore this. They made us a lovely pasta dinner the night before we left, and there was a delicious chicken curry & cupcakes when we returned home. The house was spotless and the garden well looked after. We would have no hesitation recommending Lea & Sean and would love to have them back to sit in future. As I am sure would Lola & Bailey.

Wenshi is very chill and relaxed. My dog Jasper took well to her right away. They had a great time hiking and exploring the area. I am always a little nervous leaving him with sitters because he is a reactive dog, but Wenshi handled it well. Middle-aged couple with travel bug and boundless love for animals
Susanne & Andreas were wonderful house sitters! We usually go on vacation every February so we had searched a long time to find the right people to house sit our cat and two poodles, one of which was a new puppy just a few months old. They took great care to organize everything with us before we left, ensuring they understood the feeding schedules, special needs, concerns about the new dog, and most of all potty training for the new pup. Once we left, they kept in touch on a very frequent basis sending photos, and updates on how everyone was doing! Our older poodle was down in spirits after having lost her best buddy (an older sheltie we had) who passed a few a few week before the house sit. Susanne & Andreas made sure she felt loved, and gave her a ton of affection. We could tell when we got back because Tina gravitated toward Susanne & Andreas even while we had just got back. In terms of the home, we had a lot of snow and a pretty tough winter but they held down the fort. They didn't bother us with any issues and were able to figure things out so were very self sufficient! In terms of cleanliness when we returned the house was spotless, and they had even taken the time to bake us two loaves of lovely fresh bread which we ate up very quickly after such a long trip! Most importantly the new puppy was completely potty trained and has never had an accident since they left! They definitely know what they are doing. All in all, I'd say they were on par with the best of the best in terms of house sitters. We use this website a lot and travel a lot, so we have seen our fair share of house sitters from around the world. Susanne & Andreas definitely were deserving of a 5 star review in all categories and we hope to maybe have them again some day!

Robin was looking after my furry babies for 2.5 weeks and did an amazing job! I came back to 2 kitties that were totally chilled and relaxed and zen. It must have been Robin's yoga practice! :-) The flat was tidy and clean, and Robin was super nice and so thoughtful to wash the bed sheets and towels, which saved me some work. He also left me some yummy homemade couscous, which I really appreciated. Thanks Robin! Communication was prompt and easy, and Robin kept updating me on the kitties' welfare by sending pictures regularly. I would recommend Robin to any pet parent and hope that we will see him again for another sit. Thanks Robin from Petra, Antoine & Coco!! Come back soon!

I'm delighted to have found Lisa as a sitter and hope to have her back again! She was detail oriented and clearly cared about my cats' well being. She asked good questions about the cats' routines and needs and about the house to be sure she'd meet my expectations and have a comfortable and successful sit. She communicated very well before and throughout the sit and even though I was unreachable for much of the time I was confident everyone was in good hands. Lisa left the house in immaculate condition and the cats were relaxed and happy when I got home. What a delight!

She got on well with my neighbors and even allowed my friend to come visit Suley while she was there. Chris and Julia were our very first sitters and are the most perfect house/pet sitters anyone would ever want!!! Julia sent video/pictures of our fur babies everyday and we noticed early on that our animals were very relaxed and happy!! This made our trip so enjoyable and stress free knowing that our animals were safe and being spoiled and loved the whole time. They even trained our dog to sit while her leash was being attached and was able to pet and hold our cat that is somewhat nervous around strange people he doesn't know. When I got back from the trip, the house was very clean along with Julia/Chris had washed the bed sheets, bath towels, vacuumed, dusted etc., and even washed the pet bedding. They also left some SE Asia treats for us to try which so sweet of them. Definitely the perfect house sitters!!!

Wow, what a find Justin is! I feel as though I won a lottery. As I was revelling in the communication we were having during his stay, I looked over his profile and realized either that he had updated it during his stay OR I never even read it. I was so impressed with his initial application that described multiple stays taking care of cats in Turkey that I knew he was going to be a great choice. So I'm not sure that I even read his profile or reviews. Turned out...he was more than I could have EVER hoped for. Justin is VERY organized and clear with his communication. Just as--or maybe more--important, he is a poster child for what zeewoi can be: more than just an economical way to get a pet sitter or a place to stay. Justin embraces the barter economy and the opportunity it presents to get to know people. Although we only met the day that I turned the house and my 2 cats over to his care, we had delightful communication throughout his stay. He wanted to be sure he was providing the right care to all living and non-living elements of my home as well as just chat beyond what we'd had an opportunity to cover when we were face to face on the handoff day. Bottom line: I'd have Justin back even if I wasn't going anywhere! I've met a friend. And my neighbors did as well! Oh yes, and my two cats were well looked after, the house was in ship shape, and Justin was able to brief the next sitter in person (I'd had to extend my time away and Justin already had another commitment). To say I felt confident leaving my pets and home in Justin's care is an understatement. Justin is a real adventurer and believer in the power of both human and animal connection. Without a doubt, I would recommend him as a sitter...and a friend! Thank you, Justin for a great example of how to wrestle so much more meaning out of zeewoi.

Denae and Burl were absolutely fabulous house/pet sitters for 4 weeks, Dec 2022- Jan 23. They are very friendly and intelligent, caring towards the animals (2 cats and 1 lively dog), and left our home clean and tidy. It all went very, very smoothly. Pennee and Bill were the BEST pet sitters and guests ever! I really wanted them to stay forever ! Our cat, Miss Kitty bonded so much to them, that she really wasn’t that happy to see me when I got home .Our cat is a finicky eater and they tried all different types of food and treats for her. They sent me regular photos of miss kitty and I knew everything was great when most of the pics had miss kitty on their lap. Our cat doesn’t take to many people but she immediately fell in love with them. Pennee sent us our mail and prescription meds on a regular basis , and went out of her way to take care of any issues . They fell in love with the neighbors and community and just made our lives so easy . We experienced the Covid 19 virus outbreak quarantine during this time and Pennee and Bill agreed to stay a month longer at our home . They were extremely flexible with their travel plans so that everyone would be safe. Upon our arrival home, we were greeted with a bouquet of flowers , beautiful hanging basket of flowers for outdoors and a beautiful bottle of wine . And our house had never been cleaner ! Bill and Pennee are a pet owners dream couple !I felt extremely lucky to have found such a great petsitter and new friend . We will be visiting each other in the future .

I whole-heartedly recommend Carly and her partner Fanny to sit for you! They were fabulous and reliable house sitters from start to finish. Carly was timely and thoughtful in all of her communications and let us know the state of affairs in our apartment with our cat and plant babies while we were away. They followed our directions to a 'T.' We came home to find a happy cat, thriving plants, a spotless apartment and laundered linens. We would definitely consider contacting them again to house sit for us!
