Jacki and Aaron looked after my two cats for three weeks this summer and I would have no hesitation in having them back again. They bonded with my cats very quickly and in each photograph they sent me, I could see how happy and relaxed Ianto and Iolo were with them. They were very personable, reliable, and trustworthy; they sent me regular updates and I really felt both my home and my cats were in very, very safe hands. I would highly recommend Jacki and Aaron! Nancy and Gerard couldn't have been nicer. I was ill and unable to go out of town as planned, and they adjusted to my occasional presence when I was able to drag myself to the kitchen for food. Nancy never failed to ask if I needed anything while they were out. She kindly not only stripped the bed, but put the linens in the washer and got that started for me at the end of the sit. I'm hoping to see them again when they're coming to the Berkshires and I'm my normal self!

This was our very first time using the service and we were absolutely blown away by Dian's approach from start to finish. Being a highly-rated and experienced cat-sitter, Dian reached out to us in less than a day and make the process much easier for us. Recognizing that we were new to the world of cat-sitting, she guided us through everything and even arrived early to help us out. We returned to find two happy cats, a spotlessly clean apartment stocked with fresh groceries and meals ahead of our arrival. Dian even put her own plans on standby to stay longer just in case we got delayed in returning home. She went above and beyond our expectations and we were absolutely delighted to hear that she enjoyed her time cat-sitting for us. Dian is a genuine cat lover. The feeling is mutual -the cats loved her instantly and she dedicated her time to lavishing attention on them. She found inventive ways to get both cats to participate in play even though one of the cats overshadowed his shy brother and wanted all of the attention. It was very reassuring to know the cats were in such good hands and she did everything possible to make them feel relaxed. Dian is very thoughtful and proactive always anticipating future needs. She selflessly shares her experience and expertise when it comes to cats, she observes each cat and knows how to keep them stimulated. Personally we learned so much from her about the best types of toys and games to use to keep each cat entertained and she sent us photos and videos regularly so we could see what our cats were doing in our absence. Clearly we missed the cats more than they missed us and that in itself is a testament to Dian's great way with cats. She prioritized the happiness and well-being of the cats even above her own plans and chose to maximize her time with them. Dian gave us a great recommendation for a lovely hiking route in our area, left us some thoughtful notes about other things the cats would enjoy and even left us a little gift to thank us for trusting her to look after our cats and our home. It goes without saying that Dian is 100% welcome to come back to us and we would wholeheartedly recommend her as the cat-sitter of choice.

Jan arrived from Holland the evening before our departure allowing us time to get to know a bit about him and for us to explain a few things about the house and our dog. Kendra was a great cat sitter to Genepi and she truly is a cat whisperer. Genepi usually takes 4 days to make friends with a new person but she came out and made friends with Kendra Day 1! Kendra regularly sent wonderful videos and pics of Genepi purring happily. The apartment was neat when we returned and our garden was blossoming. Would absolutely ask Kendra to sit again and highly recommend her. Thanks Kendra!!

Brian is a very professional sitter that does a good job, pays attention to details and is easy to work with. I have a lot of plants. A lot. He suggested me do a video for the plant care so he could be sure of which ones needed what. Brilliant! I’d never thought of that. They were in great shape when I returned. I explained that I needed some flexibility with travel dates, he agreed and rolled with the punches like a champ when my dates did indeed change. Unfortunately, he was a bit allergic to my cat but made it work anyway. He was really awesome about everything including a tree that fell next door in a storm and blocked the road for three days. I appreciate that he appreciated how funny and how much personality Boo has. They got along well and I received some great videos. I returned home to a happy cat and a house well taken care of 😊. Wow, what a find Justin is! I feel as though I won a lottery. As I was revelling in the communication we were having during his stay, I looked over his profile and realized either that he had updated it during his stay OR I never even read it. I was so impressed with his initial application that described multiple stays taking care of cats in Turkey that I knew he was going to be a great choice. So I'm not sure that I even read his profile or reviews. Turned out...he was more than I could have EVER hoped for. Justin is VERY organized and clear with his communication. Just as--or maybe more--important, he is a poster child for what zeewoi can be: more than just an economical way to get a pet sitter or a place to stay. Justin embraces the barter economy and the opportunity it presents to get to know people. Although we only met the day that I turned the house and my 2 cats over to his care, we had delightful communication throughout his stay. He wanted to be sure he was providing the right care to all living and non-living elements of my home as well as just chat beyond what we'd had an opportunity to cover when we were face to face on the handoff day. Bottom line: I'd have Justin back even if I wasn't going anywhere! I've met a friend. And my neighbors did as well! Oh yes, and my two cats were well looked after, the house was in ship shape, and Justin was able to brief the next sitter in person (I'd had to extend my time away and Justin already had another commitment). To say I felt confident leaving my pets and home in Justin's care is an understatement. Justin is a real adventurer and believer in the power of both human and animal connection. Without a doubt, I would recommend him as a sitter...and a friend! Thank you, Justin for a great example of how to wrestle so much more meaning out of zeewoi.
