We love sending our 4 girls to Coco’s Kennels.❤️ Jenny and David always look after them so well, they’re the only ones we trust to look after our fur babies when we are on holiday. The kennels are so clean and cosy, they feel just like they’re home. They cater to dogs taking medication and they have an amazing doggie play area where dogs are separated according to size so our small dogs don’t get overwhelmed by the big dogs.🐶 Couldn’t recommend enough!❤️

Polly and Piper just came back from 8 nights in the fabulous Coco's Kennels. We received regular updates from Jenny. The dogs were happy out running around and playing with the other dogs. They came home happy and relaxed. One of our dogs is extremely nervous but Jenny went above and beyond and was fantastic and patient with her. It gave us great piece of mind seeing such a nervous dog so happy whilst away from home. I would highly recommend Coco's Kennels to all dog lovers. It's a real home away from home for your beloved pooch. The care and service that Jenny and David provide is second to none.

Excellent experience with Coco's Kennels. Had my dog there for 2 nights, which was his first time in a kennel. They treated him very well, and looked after him like he was one of theirs. Will definitely be using them again.

We couldn't have enjoyed our holiday without knowing our dog Bella was in safe hands and well looked after. She went in as a really nervous dog around other dogs and came home much calmer and more happy to be around other dogs. We had daily updates and seeing her in the videos made our holiday much more enjoyable knowing she was happy and in safe hands. We can't thank David and Jenny enough for their kindness and patience with Bella. We now know we can take a holiday and our dog will be well looked after. Stephen and Linda.

Harley just went home today and he was so happy and really enjoyed his stay in Coco’s Kennel! When the car was leaving the kennel, he was still looking back as if he doesn’t want to leave yet his gangmates behind! Thank you Jenny and David for taking good care of our baby! Such a wonderful experience for Harley and he even knows how to take turns now in the pool! Great for Harley to be with other dogs and learn how to socialise as well. 5 star is not enough for this review! Will definitely recommend this kennel! 💖

Recently used Coco’s Kennels whilst on holiday. Our dogs thoroughly enjoyed their time with Jenny and David. They were very well looked after, had plenty of fun with the other dogs, enjoyed their walks and I felt very relaxed when I received the updates. Will be rebooking very soon. Thank you

I simply cannot say enough about Jenny and David they minded our dogs like their very own while we were away on holidays - my Homer is spoilt rotten and he hates us going away he gets separation anxiety. Although I must admit so do I when I’m away from him. But Jenny gave us daily updates videos and photos - Homer has to go to the vet because he had a sore ear and not once did jenny make us feel nervous about it - she rang us and told us she was bringing him to the vet to get him antibiotics - we never felt so at ease - they are so professional and caring cannot recommend this lovely couple enough - only the best for our hairy babies thank you so much David and jenny xxx

Really impressed with Coco Kennells. My dog Murphy recently stayed there and I knew he was well taken care of by Jenny and David. They just have a natural way with the dogs and are so kind and caring. Love the space the dogs have aswell, I would recommend these kennells as it's ideal for ure pet.

Suzy is an amazing trainer and such a genuine person. She helped us build confidence with both of our dogs when out and about. She helped us to understand dog behaviour which made us (humans) less reactive to situations. She has a genuine love for animals, is so positive and does not judge. I saw a notable change in my dogs after a few sessions, particularly my older dog who lacked confidence and was very reactive to people. He is much more confident now and is a lot happier in himself. My younger dog who is a rescue was very reactive to other dogs and Suzy was very patient with him and us. We are still working with him, but again we have seen a change in his confidence and reactivity. Our loveable, giddy Zig sometimes finds it hard to contain his excitement around other dogs but is now making huge progress after a 1:1 session with Suzy and all the fantastic guidance and advice that follows. I have learned so much from Suzy about positive communication and interaction with Ziggy and we are both much happier for it. He also loves his Mantrailing sessions with Suzy which are so much fun for the dogs and owners! Suzy is an incredible source of knowledge and information, as she’s so highly educated in this area and is always researching the best and most humane - and fun - ways to help improve our dogs’ lives. It is brilliant to know that Ziggy is benefitting from such positive expertise and to know we can always call on Suzy. I cannot recommend her highly enough - she is a superstar! And lovely!

We have two dogs, both adopted from a shelter. One is 4y old male Jack Russell Terrier Tony Rambo, who experiences some abuse in past and is very reactive, and a chihuahua x 9 months old female puppy Pepper who is also quite reactive. We couldn’t have visitors or travel because of this. The shelter recommended Snout&About and so far we had two sessions with Suzy, who is absolutely amazing! She thought us so much in so little time. Since, we were able to have a visitor who they (dogs) never met before, and utilising the agreed guest protocol and other tools she thought us, with almost no reactivity at all. We are learning how to make our dogs feel comfortable and safe in situations that would usually be very triggering for them. Suzy takes into consideration dogs personalities and habits and creates the training plan that fits well into their and our routine. We are so happy, relieved, and proud of our babies, they have come so far! Working with Suzy was the best decision we made after adopting them ❤️

Suzy is an absolutely amazing trainer! She spends the time to really get to know the family and dog so that she can tailor her advice to meet your specific dogs needs, while also fitting in with the routine of the household. We had Suzy call to the house as our chinese crested Foxy is reactive to a specific family member. She spent an evening with us explaining in detail what is going on with Foxy, why she was behaving this way and how we can help. She was super encouraging throughout the whole process which made us feel confident in tackling Foxys reactivity. After the meeting I was sent an in depth training plan for Foxy. This has been super helpful to refer back to when needed. Since working with Suzy we have noticed a huge improvement in Foxys reactivity. She is generally happier and able to cope better with her triggers. Contacting Suzy was the best thing I ever did and I cannot reccomend her enough! ❤️

We have a one year old Cocker Spaniel mix called Coco. Walking with Coco had gotten to a stage where it had become quite stressful for both her and us due to her reactive nature. Suzy was recommended to us by a friend and we are very thankful we reached out to her. We were really impressed with the service Suzy offered, she displayed a wealth of knowledge about dogs and showed such kindness to Coco who can be nervous with people she doesn’t know. She instantly started to teach us more about how to read Coco’s body language while also spending time really getting to know more about Coco and from there she sent us a personalised training plan on how best to manage Coco’s reactions. We took on board everything Suzy showed us and quickly started to see a pay off in how Coco responded on walks. Over the next few walks not only were we better equipped to read Coco’s body language thanks to Suzy but in turn she was showing us that she was more willing to engage with us and not react so much when we did encounter a dog. Thankfully we are now at a comfortable stage walking Coco again where we’re enjoying our walks with her and she’s more confident than we’ve ever seen her which is so rewarding to see. If you have a dog who is showing reactive tendencies don’t think twice about reaching out to Suzy. You won’t regret it 🐾

We are very happy at the service we received from The Dog Centre. We had a 1 to 1 session with Suzy in our home for our 4 month old puppy. Suzy is an excellent trainer and she was great with our pup. She is very knowledgeable and gave us lots of useful advice. I'm starting to see positive results with our training already after one session. She also helped in recommending a great dog sitter in the area. We really enjoyed it and are looking forward to our follow up session. I would highly recommend Suzy to anyone looking for a dog trainer.

Suzy has really transformed our relationship with our reactive dog Tadgh. For a while before we met Suzy it had felt hopeless and that we would never get to walk him or take him to the vet without panic. Within months of working with Suzy we have seen huge positive changes and have a better understanding of what was going on for Tadgh. We still have lots of work to do but we feel confident in Suzy’s guidance. I wish more people / trainers had such a compassionate and comprehensive understanding of dogs.

Suzy is excellent at what she does!! She has helped to train Pat since he was a puppy and his favourite time of the week is going on his adventure walk with Suzy! Suzy is knowledgeable, patient and kind - she is an expert and true professional in dog training. I have already recommended Suzy to friends and will continue to do so!

I have a very reactive Labrador and Suzy has changed our lives. Reilly was very troubled and hugely reacted to all sorts of things, since we met Suzy he is a much happier dog and is gradually becoming less reactive. The main thing is that Suzy has helped us to understand our lovely dog and to have a happier life together. The one thing I would advise anyone who is worried that working with a behaviorist would be complicated is that it isn't at all, just making a few little changes can make a huge difference to your dog and household. I am so happy that Suzy has become part of our lives and is there to answer any questions we have. I had days when I thought I was going to struggle with Reilly forever but I now have so much hope and can see the improvement in him. I know that we will get there. Thank you so much Suzy.

Suzy has been an amazing help to us while settling into life with our new Labrador Retriever puppy Rio. She has helped us with everything from choosing a breed to suit our family and giving us endless advice prior to and during the very early days with Rio. Suzy has come to our home on a number of occasions in order to help us get off to the best start with our now 5 month old pup and her visits have been invaluable. She takes the time to listen to us and give us a deeper understanding of what our pup needs, creating a happier home environment for both Rio and ourselves. She is extremely knowledgeable, an amazing communicator and so pleasant to meet every time. We have been going to Yvonne's for the last 8 years with both our fur babies. We could not ask for better care. Yvonne even sends us videos and updates on how they are getting on. They get plenty of exercise and attention and love. If the doggies have any health issues Yvonne looks after them and makes sure they get extra attention/ care. I trust noone else with minding our babies. Would absolutely recommend Happy Paws Hotel

We gave Yvonne a real challenge with our rescue Saluki. He was really nervous around humans but loves dogs. Within less than an hour Yvonne was petting him and totally understood his needs. We left Matthew for 2 weeks and the change in his confidence was amazing. We got regular videos of him and were amazed at the great time he had. We had trouble getting him to go into Happy Paws but nearly had more trouble getting him to come home with us!! I would leave him there again in a heartbeat and I'm very grateful to Yvonne for the all the effort she put into him. He will miss Happy Paws and all the new friends he made there.

First time leaving our golden retriever puppy with someone else. Absolutely fabulous facilities for all the dogs. We were given a wonderful tour around to show us where our puppy would play and sleep. Couldn’t recommend enough, we knew our puppy was in great hands as Yvonne has a wonderful knowledge of all dogs and their varying needs. The videos of him playing and having fun with all the other dogs was the cherry on top of a wonderful experience. Thanks so much we will definitely be back again.

Happy Paws is absolutely the best. Excellent 5 star treatment. Very caring and outdoor activities making for very happy dogs. Home from home for your dog. Highly recommend, Yvonne is a star. Our Golden Retriever absolutely loves it every time he visits and comes home exhausted from all the fun and interactions with other dogs.

1st time using Happy Paws and 1st time actually using a dog kennel for my 2 dogs so was a bit nervous about it as Bruce is older and has never been away from home but to my surprise and delight both Bruce and Spike loved their little holiday at Happy Paws and are booked in again for Easter. Yvonne has a fantastic set up for dogs and it's nice to be able to get away and know your dogs are well looked after.

Hands down the absolute best. I drop "the girls" off and they're delighted to be there. I hardly think of them while I'm away as I know they're as happy there as they are at home. Can't recommend the Happy Paws Hotel enough.

Could not recommend Happy Paws Hotel higher. My 12 year old dog was very shy and nervous around other dogs and I was worried how she would get on I needn't have worried. Yvonne and her team are fantastic. Molly was treated as one of the family. Molly really loved it. Thanks Yvonne for all your patience and love for Molly x

My dogs, from young to seniors, have been regular guests of Happy Paws Hotel for many years. They are always cared for so well, in the best facilities. Yvonne and her team do an amazing job looking after our dogs and especially those who have special needs. Definitely a five star doggie hotel!

We've been leaving our "furry babies" as my wife calls them with Yvonne for years. Our last dog, Chewie, and her sister Alfie were, shall we say, high dependency. Not a bother for Happy Paws. Our current bundle of furry joy, Bettie, loves it there too. We've also taken advice from Yvonne about trainers and groomers, all excellent, and we buy our dog food off her. Overall, couldn't recommend highly enough.

I left my Golden Retriever Rose with Barbara for a week while we moved houses and absolutely loved it. I felt anxious leaving her with strangers for the first time but I just wasn’t able to take care of her during the move. I was relieved to see that all the dogs have their own furnished kennels as well as an outdoor space to roam around freely. Barbara was lovely in welcoming us to the Doggy hotel and took great care of Rose during her week there. Once I learned I could get my dog groomed with Jess there as well, I had to jump on the opportunity. She got the full grooming package (nail clip, wash, hair cut, blow dry etc.) and she looked absolutely fabulous. Honestly her fur has never been softer. I can highly recommend both the stay in Barbaras care and Jesses grooming parlor. I‘d always gladly come back.

I left my border collie Beth with Barbara for two weeks the kennels were fantastic Barbara was welcoming and professional Beth also got groomed with Jess I can proudly say she’s never looked better would highly recommend getting your dog groomed with Jess and leaving your dog with Barbara

Max loves going on his holidays to Danville. Barbara is so kind and good with him. He's delighted with life when he comes back.

I was really worried about leaving my dogs at a kennel, I hadn't went on holiday for years as I worried about them so much. they are inside dogs and we love them like our kids. I dropped them off for initially 4 days, but after the videos and texts and daily reassurance I got from John I left them the extra 2 days instead I getting the home sitter. they had fun, I have videos of them playing and running around. I had texts to assure me scarlet had her daily medications and they ate all their dinner. I couldn't recommend this place enough they were fantastic and my babies came home today happy out! Such a relief to be able to go away and not worry about them, they are walked every , the go into runs out in the big fields a few times a day too, they got treats every day and lots of love. Really couldn't recommend them enough

I had a great time with Dolores. It's warm, cosy and safe and it's my number one choice as a home from home. Rosie, elderly cat and regular visitor.

My 3 Cats are very well looked after when they stay in Rathealy. Their coats are always so shiny when they come home. I wouldn't have anyone else look after my cats. I've been a customer for years and will be for many more. They're picked up and brought back home with care. It's a great service.

Maisie 🐶 is a very regular visitor to Oaklands for overnights and daycare and she couldn’t be happier here. Ber just loves dogs and always gives Maisie a great welcome. She gets loads of exercise, walks in the forest behind them and runs in the fields. She always comes home exhausted ….and very very happy. Maisie loves playing with Ber’s own little pooches and they are great friends. Overall it’s a home away from home for her 🐾😍🐶

Our gorgeous dog, Theo, has been going to Oakland Boarding Kennels for over a year now. He absolutely loves it. While there he is so loved, so well cared for and is very much part of the family. The owner makes every dog feel welcome. I've never known anyone to care and love dogs the way she does. She takes them for walks in the fields and the woods, she plays with them and gives them all her attention. The facilities at Oakland Boarding Kennels are second to none. Everywhere is clean, dry, safe and secure. Each dog has their own space, and they also have the use of a large run. I can't recommend Oakland Boarding Kennels highly enough.

Our boy Kobe has been staying with Ber at Oaklands for the past few years and we couldn't be happier with the care he gets there. There is loads of room for long walks and playing around. Kobe loves it there, it's home away from home for him. I would highly recommend and have already to many friends.

Wood fired stove and a walk in the forest ..what more could my dog ask for . ? Exceptional care and attention was given to my dog on its annual visit to Oakland's kennels . These kennels are heated with a wood fired stove for extra cosiness. The owner Ber is a master at minding dogs and this shows in her attention to detail. I would highly recommend her kennels to anyone.

Our two dogs , a setter end a retriever, love their time in Oaklands. Ber is so kind and welcoming to them and they really love the forest walks. I have full confidence in the care provided in this fabulous country home The kennels are always pristine and the dogs just run to Ber , with tails wagging ,when they arrive. FIVE STAR! We have no worries at all leaving our retriever, Roxie, at Oaklands Kennels. She loves staying there. Ber looks after her so well taking her out around the fields getting lots of exercise. She has her own warm, clean stall to rest in. All the dogs are extremely well looked after. Ber is exceptional in her kindness providing them with a home from home.

When I’m away my little yorkie Ted stays in Oakland Kennels in the excellent care of Ber. Ber has a great connection with dogs & my little fella feels the warmth & kindness she generates. He is brought on lovely walks through the woods & Ber sends me videos & photos & that gives me great peace of mind because I see how happy he is. Thumbs up for Ber

They took excellent care of our dogs and we're so accommodating to us. Fantastic set up & very safety conscious. It was brilliant knowing our dogs were in such a friendly and safe environment in the countryside.

We have left our 3 staffies with Julie several times now and are very happy. The kennels are clean and spacious and there is a larger play area which is used to exercise the dogs. Wouldn't leave mine anywhere else.

Julie is incredible. The kennels are excellent. I trust her completely. My dogs love her and are always loving cared for. Highly recommend Johnduffswood Kennels.

Had a terrible experience with my dog taking him to this kennell .. the lady was very matter of fact and no politeness about her and said he would need an assessment done .. I arranged for this and when he arrived she asked was he staying the nite and obviously hadn't looked in her diary to know,he was only coming for the day .. on that day I checked in with her at 1pm to see how my dog was settling in and got a reply 2 hrs later to say he wasn't stressed at all and seemed fine and that she would send me a video in a half hr .. the video was extremely stressful to watch where basically she put on a lead and he went to walk but because of his pulling she stated in the video that ny dog would not be walked while out with her Because of the pulling and was put back in the run where he was left extremely stressed ... we picked him up 20 mins later and when we got him home and calmed him down he didn't want to interact with us at all and stayed huddled in the corner of the sitting room... I messaged the lady and ask how was my dog otherwise did he settle in the run and she said he got on fine and that he might be more suited to a run with bigger dogs in it ... I text her back asking her if he could be put into a run on his own for the nite and be picked up the following morn as the household had arrangements and would not be home to look after him and after all this is what the assessment was for .. I sent it on a Saturday and it was Monday nite at 12.45 am when I got a message back telling me that my dog would be better off going to another kennell as she couldn't accommodate his needs ...i did ring the lady back the next morning but the conversation was going nowhere . I felt the whole experience traumatising not only for my dog but us as a family too with only 3 days to try and get another kennell sorted for him .. I would highly not recommend this kennell establishment as it seems to be only prioritising clients with dogs they know and are not very welcoming to newcomers.

It was my first time to put my two dogs 🐕 they loved it. The freedom they had was amazing. I was sent videos of them at play and out for exercise. The kennels are lovely and clean. All the dogs are very friendly. The owner is a dog lover, and so is the person who works there. I would highly recommend this Kennels …

When I tried to book in our 2 rescue dogs I was told they would not accept them because the last time they were there they were not sociable and did not mix with other dogs. The dogs in question are the most friendly dogs you could get and love attention. To be told they were not sociable is a complete insult to two very loveable rescue dogs. Would not recommend these kennels and have found much superior kennels since.

I thought this was a reliable place for my dogs and until today was fairly happy. Today I was told my dogs got out of their harnesses but when I checked them i could see they were interfered with i.e loosened and then to be accused of letting out dogs of kennel/sandpit area which an employee unlocked. Some dogs came out on her and sshe was not happy that I queried the harnesses issue.

Well run by the owner Marie. She has invested a lot in this business and the doggy accommodation is of a very high standard. Her way she has with the dogs matched with her attention to having the kennels always spotless is admirable. Definitely a good place to have your pet looked after.

Phoebe and kygo enjoyed there first visit to Marie. They got good treatment price is very high we have used many kennels and price was way higher. I had two dogs and you would usually get a special rate as they use same kennel but it was full price each. Service was good and she minds the animals well and spotless place.

Marie and her staff have provided an excellent service on all occasions that I have left my 3 dogs there. The individual needs of my old arthritic dog and that of my younger dogs which includes one extremely strong dog, were specifically catered for. And the regular updates provided by Marie, have given me peace of mind while I was away. I would definitely use Kilkenny Kennels again.

I was advised they had availability for the dates I needed but required an assessment first and asked that I send over some details about my dog. I did. I was then promptly ignored. I texted again to check in, rang to confirm the assessment and was told even though the dates are still available they’ll instead be prioritising current clients. Who haven’t even booked yet. Great. They told me to look elsewhere.

Cannot recommend Kilkenny Kennels enough. Great facilities, spacious, and very clean. My dog was super calm and really happy. He was brought on loads of walks and the WhatsApp video they send are so cute. Marie and the staff are excellent and very professional. They prioritise the dogs comfort and wellbeing. I could tell that my dog was really happy there.

Always searching for the perfect home from home for my miniature schnauzer I recently visited Kilkenny Kennels. The young woman who was in charge was most courteous and gave me a tour of the facilities. I was amazed at how confined the space was. The 'runs' for the dogs were small/short and cramped. The Irish Wolfhound, labrador and other big dogs were obviously unhappy, straining at the high fence and barking so loudly we could not have a conversation. The stable section was dark and cold and my heart sank for the two tiny shivering yorkies behind bars at the end of the stables. My miniature schnauzer would not drink from the water bowl and was nervous at the constant barking. My overall impression was one of containment though I did not see one security camera on the premises. The dwelling house and garden were immaculate and I note were the background for the gallery photos on the website. I love my dog too much to have her confined as I witnessed the dogs in this kennels. She is used to going away but to a happier place. And by the way, contrary to what was stated on the website, Lyric FM was not being played and it was 6.45pm.
