All I can say is WOW! Helen was totally amazing from start to finish and I would certainly call her a cat whisperer. Our cat Coco can be extremely timid and Helen was aware of this but I think Coco had other plans once she met Helen as was happy to be around her and let her brush her and even nudged Helen with a hello. This allowed us to be on holiday with confidence. Helen and I had already discussed communication while we were away, as I did not feel I needed photos etc as trusted what Helen said. We did actually message a few times during the 14 days and Coco was always doing well. We came home to an immaculate home! I was expecting to have to clean etc on return but did not need to ( and that’s most unlike me!). Our home was so well looked after and Coco was a happy girl too, in fact I think she may have preferred Helen to have walked through the door. We will most definitely be asking Helen to come back and just have everything crossed, that when we have dates set, she can come to us again. I know Coco would be thrilled to see her again. This was our first time using the site and we are so happy we found Helen, she is cat lovers dream.

Martine was an excellent sitter. Huey was well cared for and was relaxed and happy when we got home. Martine was very communicative and kept me up to date with how Huey was, sending photos and videos of what he was up to. He is an old boy that requires a lot of care, and she looked after his needs re. short walks and daily tablets. The house was immaculate when we returned home, which is a relief when you get home late in the evening. We wouldn’t hesitate to ask Martine to look after Huey again.

Jim'n'Gill were the best sitters! We communicated well, ahead of the sit, over several months. When they arrived, Jim'n'Gill were so warm and likeable, that we instantly felt we could hug them. When we went off on our family holiday, we genuinely felt confident about them, and at peace. They were kind to our kitties, and gave them lots of love. We could tell they sincerely love animals. Jim'n'Gill even brushed our kitties fur, a la massage, and arranged toys for them to play with. They also sent us pics of our kitties, looking ultra relaxed, while we were away, which we really appreciated. When we returned, our kitchen and laundry were cleaner than they were when we left, and everything was neat and tidy. We actually wish they lived in our town, coz we feel we could enjoy a thousand great conversations with them. We highly recommend Jim'n'Gill. They are the most wonderful couple. And, you can definitely trust them to care for your fur-babies.

Sonia and her daughter sat for our dog Harry while we were away for a few days. Sonia was very easy to deal with in the run up to the sit, and arrived the evening before we were due to leave so she was there in good time. Once we were away she kept in touch with photos of Harry and asking questions regarding Harry and his routine, and generally about the house. All worked perfectly. We arrived back late in the evening of their last day and Sonia stayed until the late afternoon to ensure Harry was not left alone too long. I'd definitely recommend her!

Well where do I start! Mel and Bear are just the most amazing couple. They are so kind, caring thoughtful and the list could just go on. My new friends (who I now feel are like family),are genuine animal lovers and have spoilt my two dogs with so much love. They have gone above and beyond to make sure that they are happy and well cared for. My house was left immaculate and Bear left some wonderful origami -absolute works of art! Mel a talented artist, kindly did Reiki which I had never done before but I am really glad I have experienced it. She is such a beautiful lady inside and out. I highly recommend them to anyone who really loves their pets. You will be guaranteed a peace of mind whilst away. They sent pictures and stayed in contact throughout. My dogs loved them and bonded instantly. I wish them the all the best and hopefully see them again soon x

I never met Joi because due to her work, she arrived after I left and was gone before I returned home. This wasn't a problem at all. She was very self-sufficient and seemed to find all that she needed in my house. The house looked exactly like I left it and my cat seemed very content when I returned. Apparently they had a nightly routine of Luna getting brushed. Joi is a very experienced sitter and it shows.

We are thoroughly pleased with and impressed by Daniel's kind, generous, and careful care of our cat and our house. He is a committed and experienced sitter who completely understands his role and responsibilities and also how to gently win the confidence and affection of a pet. He is an excellent communicator, and he kept us regularly up to date on our cat's well being--sending us texts and photos at least once/week as we requested. Our cat who is a little afraid of new people, grew fond of him, and we have returned to a very calm, contented cat. They were responsive, gave us regular updates, and seemed to really care about Tumba and Cappa. When Tumba was more timid toward the beginning of our trip and not eating her meals fully, Kerry was sure to ask for additional suggestions from us on how to coax her to eat more. Kerry and Megan also left the house just as we'd left it for them. We really appreciated them going the extra mile to ask about additional cleaning products so they could clean our bathrooms. Kira was the best sitter we have ever had! I chose Kira because of her reviews, ability to sit during the dates I needed and willingness to communicate with my daughter/neighbor who co-parents Colby with us. I am always a bit anxious about having someone in my home and trusting them with our fluffy son. Kira put us at ease almost immediately. I received photos and videos everyday throughout the stay. I got updates on Colby’s activity and the fun they were having together. My heart felt full knowing that Colby was being well loved and cared for. Additionally, Kira was so kind to keep us posted on any deliveries that arrived at the house. Finally, when I arrived home, the house was tidy and clean! Again, I am so grateful that Kira was there keeping the house and my cat safe! I hope she will come back and sit again. I know Colby would love to see her again.

From the photos, it's clear she got in a lot of play time with Toni, which we really appreciated! :) We were able to enjoy our entire vacation stress-free knowing Toni was in such good hands. Oh wow! Everyone should be so lucky to have Nicholas and Veerle watch their house and pets. These lovely people are pros! They communicated early and often, were super accommodating to some last minute changes (it was originally going to be only our cats to watch but we decided to keep the dog home as well so that added to the schedule and care needs) and they left the house spotless and all set up for another sitter who came in after them. We didn’t get the chance to meet because my departure and arrival times but I dearly hope I get to in the future because they were just great! I even heard how nice they were from My neighbors who say them out walking our dog. :-) They also sent regular pictures of the pets which look like pro-photography! Cannot recommend this couple enough! Your pets and house will be in good hands!

Fabulous service! Sue walks my dog regularly at least once a week. Also, my dog has stayed with Sue in her home quite happily, even though she is quite a clingy dog, completely indifferent to strangers. Sue’s quiet, calm manner will give reassurance to nervous dogs. Our cat is quite elderly and needs medication so we worry about leaving her but thankfully we are able to call on Sue at Croft Pet Services. She is very professional and follows your instructions but you can tell that she is also affectionate and caring towards your pet. We would 100% recommend her services.

Sue walks our bouncy flat coat Jura weekly, she is reliable and very flexible to our needs for extra walks etc. We love the fact Jura gets a proper off lead run around and Jura is delighted to see Sue. Would definitely recommend.

Playful Paws is one of the most magical places you could take your dogs, and I could not recommend a visit enough! Our Labrador absolutely adores it and gets to fully burn off his energy with his best friends. We get feedback on his day and see photos of what he gets up to. The staff are friendly, attentive and nothing is too much when it comes to your dogs. Our dog used to get too excited on walks when meeting other dogs (he wants to be everyone’s friend) but since visiting PP, he is calmer, much easier to walk, and less overexcited at the site of any other walkers/dogs. He is more calm at home and means he still gets a good bit of exercise in on those busy days when it’s hard to get the time to give them a decent walk! Reasonably priced with block sessions available also! Definitely give them a try!
We had a funeral in Inverness and had difficulties finding care for our two dogs at short notice. Phone call to Playful Paws and it was sorted. Took the dogs along and was very impressed by their set up. Good inside and outside facilities and while I was there there was 1 member of staff to 3 dogs. The real above and beyond service was delivering the dogs back to our hotel. Very tired which was a great sign of the day they had. Will recommend this place to anyone staying in, or visiting Inverness with dogs.
My spaniel pup goes to Playful Paws at least 3 times a week. She bounds in excitedly every morning, and comes homes tired and happy at night. Perfect for us both - don't know what I'd do without them!
Absolutely fantastic dog care here. My dogs had an absolute ball here today; playing with the other dogs and having a great time. I had no concerns whatsoever leaving my precious dogs with Tracie and she kept me updated throughout the day with texts, videos and photos. My dogs attend playful paws and absolutely love it. They engage in different games everyday and are definitely much more sociable because of the interaction they receive. Highly recommend.

Put my dog to play full paws for Halloween party he had swollen a party balloon then 1rh later he was bitten by another dog he needed 14stitches.The staff where not supervising his group properly as this was shown on the CCTV.Iwould never recommend this company to anyone.And check your contract when you sign i was lucky they paid in full for his vet bills as they were at fault.

We had a family emergency and Karen pulled out all the stops to accommodate our cat. What a super place, lovely staff and Karen is obviously an animal lover. We are so grateful for Karen's help and if anyone is looking for a cattery/kennel, this is the place to go!
I went over on the ferry and was meet by the owner a very friendly Karen who took my dogs off me and looked after them really well. So if you are looking for a special place to put your dog or cat don't go past Aird Boarding kennel and Cattery.
We love taking the dogs here and the dogs love Karen and her staff . They always come back happy and clean . Their tails are wagging in anticipation of their next holiday !

The service the girls provide is brilliant. Lexi gets so excited when they come to collect her, she comes back from her walks tired out and ready for a snooze. Lovely girls with a whole lot of love for every dog they take out. It’s an added bonus watching the walks on their Instagram story every day too.
I'm extremely picky about who can look after my cocker spaniel but from the moment I contacted caNine2five I was reassured by their professionalism, quick informative communication and general all round loveliness. They couldn't have been more patient or caring with Cosmo at the meet and greet and made me feel like I could ask a million questions if I wanted to and that would be totally fine with them. They are punctual, reliable and flexible when it comes to dog walks which has been invaluable. I initially only planned one pack walk a week as I didn't actually need him to go but it was more for him to have fun. On seeing the photos and video clips of the walk I immediately requested two walks a week and he can't get enough of them! The only issue Cosmo has is I haven't got him booked in 7 days a week but he waits at the gate every day just in case it's a pack walking day with Tsara and Amber. If I could give them 6 stars I would because they are that amazing and I feel so so lucky Cosmo has them in his life because they make him feel so special and so happy.
We started using CaNine2five last May and it was one of the best things we did for our boy. He gets so excited every time the van pulls up and we get to see what he is up to on their Instagram stories while he is out. The girls are so accommodating and have helped us out frequently. The added bonus is they take beautiful photographs on every walk. Would wholeheartedly recommend the girls.

My two boys, Cham and Dyson, went to stay with Viv, Steve & Archie at the end of January 2022. We had a little meet up beforehand to make sure they’d have the best time when they came to stay and it went really well. I had a few organisational issues my end, so I had to keep slightly changing the plan on the run up to their stay. However Viv was very kind and worked with me with all the plan changes. It was comforting to know the boys would be in a lovely friendly home despite whilst we were away. We got lots of lovely photos of the boys throughout and updates on how they were doing. They had an absolutely great time and I will definitely be booking again. I’d also recommend Viv & Steve’s boarding services to anyone who wants to hear! I can not recommended Viv and Steve highly enough!! I genuinely do not know what we would have done without them in our lives! This is Dougal's home from home and he absolutely adores the both of them! As do I!! You will not find a better home boarding home that is for sure! 5 star treatment. Wonderful and super friendly. They spoiled our cheeky dog absolutely rotten on both visits whilst we were on holiday in Portree, which meant we got to experience some of the fabulous restaurants on the island. She even wanted to go back inside when we came to collect her from her overnight stay and walkies!
We booked our dog in for doggy day care while on holiday on Skye. Communication was efficient and clear. The service was very friendly and our dog had a great time. We would definitely recommend Walkies!

Claire has been taking our staffie for walks for over a year now and what a transformation!! He’s socialised and loves his pack walks with his girlfriends! A lot of his improved behaviour is down to Claire! Our dog is a rescue dog so leaving him with Claire when we’re on holiday is wonderful and puts our minds at ease. We know he’s well looked after and he absolutely loves staying with her. I completely trust her. What more can I say 😘 I can’t speak highly enough about her!
Dillon loves Claire! As well as regular walks he has had numerous holidays at Little Paws, including spending three weeks with her earlier this year and he is booked again for September . He has a great time, we get photos and video clips of all his adventures. Highly recommended by us but, even more importantly by Dillon! Your dog will thank you for it😀!

We have been using this kennel for the last 8 years and highly recommend them . Our dogs and cat have always been very happy there and well looked after. A great new addition is the outdoor dog run with plenty of toys to keep them entertained. In fact they were so busy playing they didn't notice we had arrived to pick them up. Love the fact they post images of the dogs having fun on their Facebook page so you can check on your furry friends whilst you are away. Like most kennels they have drop off and pick up times which you are told in advance which avoids constant disturbance to the dogs and the working/cleaning regimes of the kennels. It's easy to work around and they have always been flexible with us with issues like plane delays etc all you need to do is keep them informed. Richard is an experienced and knowledgeable dog trainer and we have always been happy to leave our animals in his and the other staff care

Highly recommended. Requested to book at short notice due to a hospital admission & very promptly received a positive response from Richard. The dog accommodation is excellent - don't expect sofas - it is a dog kennel after all. Everywhere is clean, airy and spacious & we are able to take our dog's own bedding & creature comforts. The setting is great with lots of outside space and the new addition of the secure fenced exercise paddock is wonderful. Our GSP squealed with delight when we arrived as she knew where she was and judging by the Facebook video was very happy whilst there. She has clearly been very well looked after by a professional and friendly team and we have every confidence with no worries whilst she is at Banscol.
I have shared good feedback before and am actually quoted saying how good the kennels are. I would say use them, however if you need flexibility on collection or delivery times then forget them. Although their website states they offer drop off and collection times outside their hours, that is not my experience. We are not close to the kennels and got home early from holiday. Phoned to say we would pick up on the Saturday evening but they would not accommodate. After driving nearly 800 miles to get home we had another 140 mile round trip to do the next day to pick up out dog who wasn't allowed to come home with us the day before. I was fully understanding though, these things happen. Last week I noticed the statement on their website about flexible pick up and drop off times so I booked for 2 nights. When I booked I said I would confirm times (we live a good distance from the kennels and were travelling quite a distance as well). The day before we left I contacted them to say we would be there about 1pm if that was ok. I was told I could only drop off between 9.30 and 10.30 or 3.30 to 5.30. I pointed out their statement on their website to no avail. Not good customer care and not a good policy to have misleading information on a website. For that reason I am afraid I now would not recommend.
So glad we found Richard and Sarah last year and we will not be going anywhere else. The care that our two puppies have received is second to none. Whether boarding them or training them, we have nothing but praise.
Can’t recommend for cats. Cats are not separated from dogs; they are in the same building, and cats are exposed to constant barking. Cat accommodation dark and inhospitable.I collected my cat early and it was made clear that this was unwelcome when I arrived. It looked as if the litter tray hadn’t been emptied for a week.
Highly recommended. Lovely clean Kennels with lots of space. Our animals were very well cared for making leaving them so much easier.Thank you Sarah and Richard for your dedication.
Richard and Sarah are an amazing team. They were so good at looking after our dogs. Would highly recommend them. Five star facility and Will definetly be using them again
Great place, highly recommend them. They are great with my 2 dogs who are not good with other dogs. Won't go anywhere else.
Great kennels, very friendly, professional service, the boxers were very well cared for and totally comfortable with their holiday. Lovely location, spacious kennels and very good value.

Thank you very much for taking after our wee family members for the duration of our special day. They came back smelling lovely and very happy. I think they very much enjoyed their wee vacation away to a new place. It's nice to know there is somewhere save and loving to look after them if we need it.

Brody my 3yr GWP went for daycare to see how he got on, before having an overnight stay.. This was due to his separation anxiety, I wasn't sure how he would be. Fantastic place. We left our four chihuahuas with them and they were very well looked after. Lovely and clean with beautiful surroundings. Staff are super friendly and would highly recommend.
