Cat Sitting in Kinlough

Sean & Eva were the unexpected answer to our housesitting search! We are so grateful they agreed to our sit. They were relaxed, organized, asked all the right questions & easy to communicate and plan with. We found them to be friendly with quick responses. We appreciated the updates of our pets (dog & salt-water aquarium) and we know Goose will be counting down the years until he gets to see them again. Our home was impeccably clean upon our return, the lawn was mowed, and flowers tended too, PLUS they left us with a DELICIOUS pot of chili and homemade bread to help us transition back to life in our home! We are so grateful they chose us for a sit as our home and pets (and souls) were well taken care of. Please make sure you respond to Sean and Eva immediately so you can secure them for your sits!!

Kerry E'lyn, Colm and their family were wonderful! They took great care of our pets and our home. They were very tolerant of our cat Mittens, who seemed to be going through a phase of confused toilet habits.....really sorry about that lads! 🤦‍♀️ They left our home in perfect order, and a delicious cake in the frideg-what a welcome home! Thank you!!

Catia and James were exceptional sitters! Most importantly, they looked after our pets as if our dog and cat were their own. They took the time to understand exactly what our animals needed and followed through with all our requirements. Our dog Nikka who can tend to be anxious, felt comfortable with them almost right away due to their calm/gentle demeanor. We were kept updated through numerous messages, photos and videos and we know our pets got lots of attention, exercise and love. Our house and pool were well kept. As sitters, Catia and James were friendly, thoughtful, reliable and very helpful. We would highly recommend them to others.

Sean and Columbia were wonderful, reliable, calm, thoughtful and respectful housesitters. They were super organised and relaxed and took such great care of Bessie and Scrabble. We had lots of communication from them during our trip away reassuring us that our dogs were being well cared for. Our home was equally well looked after and we arrived home to everything in great order. Thank you Columbia and Sean.

Liz and Vladi were perfect guests and pet-sitters! They took good care of our Dachshund/Teckel Lola, the house and gardens. Lola is not always the easiest to manage, but Liz was very patient, instantly bonded and looked after Lola with care and attention. All communication was prompt, easy and pleasant. Liz asked well in time if she could bring along Vladi, which that was perfectly fine and worked out well. We all got along really well and had fun in the extra day that we took to explain our routines with Lola and to introduce Liz and Vladi to their surroundings. It was wonderful to get to know each other and we recommend Liz gladly as a five-star pet-sitter!

Patricia was a great house and pet sitter. She sent us photos of our pets hanging out, the dog got to her grooming appointments, and got to visit with the dogs of some of our friends; the cats seemed happy and relaxed. We will be happy to have her sit again.

Eamon and Clare were FABULOUS sitters! From the initial chat over video link, we knew our three animals were going to be in great hands. Eamon and Clare arrived when they said they would and settled in immediately, were friendly, and engaging, keen to know all the elements about the house, pets, medications etc. We have a cat and two dogs, one of whom is 17 ½ and needs extra care, but nothing was too much trouble for them. They are self-reliant, organised (Eamon had a spreadsheet…), kind and funny too. They adapted to the needs of the house and pets with ease – and we only hope our pets behaved as well! We’d happily recommend Eamon and Clare, and hope they come back, even if just for a holiday!

Brenda was so sweet, took such good care of Rosie gave regular updates and left my place sparkling clean! I highly recommend her, she’s welcome back anytime :)

Niall is a top class housesitter and we are so grateful he was our sitter with Blarney for the month away we had this summer. From first meeting it was very clear that Niall was committed to understanding Blarneys needs and to appreciate Blarney’s character so he could be the best companion and carer for him. That kind of attentiveness and awareness is such a gift! It brought us huge comfort while we were away. Niall’s communication was excellent throughout and was great at foreseeing any issues or questions about Blarney’s needs and the house. Blarney experienced a bit of a stomach flu while we were away and Niall was very responsive to the subtle signals Blarney was giving. He rang the vet we bring Blarney to discuss his symptoms and was very willing to take Blarney should he need it. Thankfully he recovered without a trip to the vet in large part due to Niall being so caring and giving Blarney extra attention while unwell. Niall also brought Blarney out on many social excursions to local cafes where he met many people who knew Blarney and that was very fun for all involved as it introduced Niall to our friends here and Blarney got to see his regular pals too. The house was in great shape for our return and the fridge clean and empty which is much appreciated! Our sincerest gratitude to Niall for minding our beloved Blarney so brilliantly and compassionately. We would highly recommend Niall as a housesitter if you are lucky to be considering him for a sit! Looking forward to our paths crossing again in the near future.

There are not enough stars here for Kera and Holly. I cannot express how happy we were with them both. We had been communicating for a while before this sit and so were delighted when they were able to do it for us. We got daily updates with the most beautiful photos of all our pets which was so reassuring. Our dogs got so many lovely adventures I'm sure they didnt want us to come home 😂 Our home was so well looked after. We would recommend Kera and Holly 100% without hesitation & hope we can secure them again in the future.
