Cat Sitting in Koln

Marianne and Mike are the very, very, very best people you can have to take care of your pets. They are totally devoted to the wellbeing of your animals. Our dogs of 13 and 1 year old have completely accepted Mike and Marianne’s kind, calm and assertive guidance. We would definitely recommend Marianne and Mike!

Carla was very self-sufficient and took good care of the house while we were away. Sadly for me and luckily for Carla, she wasn't required to do all that was required for a sick cat as Cassius had passed away just before her stay. My sourdough starter is still alive and the garden is in decent shape -- I know it is hard to eat/pick that many raspberries and beans! I'm pleased the chalet was in good hands while we were away. Thank you.

Kristina came to us for the second time over a weekend to look after our shy cat Tia. She is an absolute cat person and there was an instant spark between her and our cat right from the start. Kristina is a very uncomplicated, relaxed and absolutely trustworthy person. So we were able to start our weekend trip without any worries. We came back home to a happy cat in a very tidy and clean apartment. We recommend Kristina 100% and look forward to her coming to us again in the future.

Frieda was fantastic, she was very friendly, chatty, confident and competent with our fur babies. She kept us reguarly updated while being very attentive to our pets needs and demands; this put us at ease for the duration of our holiday. We came home to a clean and tidy house, with very happy pets! We highly recomend Frieda and would have her back if she so wished 😁.

Paula is a lovely lady to know and we are happy to have had her for our vakation this summer. She really did an exellent work, both with our cat family, and also in or quite wild "sortofgarden". Paula and I did our first whatsapp - deciding chat and after that we had an open channel for further questions updates andshort videos/pics until the startday. Paula made secure to be here in time by coming to Stockholm the day before arriving here. She is very well organized so we immediatley felt that we could be perfectly safe with her taking care of our gang. Our 3 cats are quite different personalities and also sometimes can be not so easy to please if they don't just get things in their (3 different) way. Nevertheless when they accepts the new person, they quickly adopt a new carer, and I think all the 3 of them accepted Paula almost directly. Maybe it was helpful that Paula brougt each of them a lovely catnip toy gift, wich indeed still seems to be one of the favourites. Paulas professional caring eye alerted us about our oldest cat who seemed very thirsty and drunk a lot of water for a period. At the time it was very hot here, so we decided just to observe her for a few days. Drinking often is just normal for our eldest, so luckily nothing was wrong with her this time. Also she provided our oldie special care for food. A "please-do not disturbe when eating time" because our youngest can be quite irritating and disturbing the others when try to eat. The work of a professional cat sitter. When Paula left the house was top cleaned, bedlinings in the washer and everything just as we left it. Also our sort of garden with many flowering pots were just lovely, wich made us understand Paula also is an exellent gardener. We certanlay would love to have Paula back again and she has our best rekommendations. We surely hope to welcome her back whenever she has the opportunity. Peter & Trudy are absolute God sent angels! Our place has NEVER looked this clean and organized and our dogs were very well taken cared off. We came home to a full fridge, homemade pumpkin soup, all our laundry was clean and ironed, windows were done, cabinets were organized, grass was seeded, weeds removed and and and… Our two dogs were also in great hands, they looked great, were tired from all the nice walks and got plenty of cuddles. I honestly don’t know how we deserved such wonderful house sitters. ❤️ Would highly highly recommend!!!

I am happy to have had Felix and Ulrike taking care of Loky. They were flexible to adjust the last minute change of the period for the sitting, and that was very helpful. Loky was happy and relaxed, and the daily updates from them reassured me all is going great. Upon my return, the house was clean and neat.

Dieter and Tina did a wonderful job of looking after our menagerie ☺️ they clearly doted on our dogs and the feeling was very mutual. They arrived the day before we departed which was great as we could spend time with them, the dogs could get used to them and we could explain everything without being rushed. On both the morning we departed and arrived home, Dieter and Tina walked the pups so we wouldn't have to worry about it. They also made up our bed so it was ready when we arrived back very early in the morning. They sent lots of pictures and we knew they were in very good hands. A lovely experience and you're both welcome back any time!

Suzanne and Manfred were the perfect sitters for our alpacas, cat and doves! We invited them to arrive early to learn our routine and they quickly picked up how to "be" around alpacas! They were calm and organised and were soon accepted by the alpacas as safe to be close to! One alpaca was having antibiotic eye drops and they confidently completed the last few days of giving these. We received daily updates, photos and videos which reassured us that all was well at home! Suzanne and Manfred cared for the house, leaving it spotless for our return. Suzanne even made a delicious Thai soup for us for lunch...what a treat to return to! They had stripped beds and washed their sheets and towels which is certainly not something we expect as we arrive home quite early so they must have been up extremely early to get everything done ready for our return! This was above and beyond the job description! We thoroughly enjoyed the few days with Suzanne and Manfred, as they got to know the alpacas, before our holiday and we definitely now consider them as friends and hope that we will stay in touch and maybe meet again! This sit was complicated by the fact that we are selling the house and rehoming the alpacas so there was some uncertainty ....how many alpacas would still be at La Grand-Mère ? We know that Suzanne and Manfred have waited a long time to come to Brittany as well as to care for alpacas, so we truly hope that the uncertainty around our move wasn't too stressful for them! So ..without hesitation, we would recommend Suzanne and Manfred for your sit. You'll go away confident that your "babies" will receive the best care and your house too! Thank you Suzanne and Manfred for being the perfect sitters at a particularly stressful period in our lives! 😘

Vanessa hand Harry were wonderful house sitters. They communicated well with me before and during the sit. Esk was very happy in their care and she got lots of lovely walks and cuddles. I would highly recommend them as sitters and I would certainly ask them again.
