Yammy was a wonderful sitter, and we were lucky to have her here. She and our cat Puccini clicked right away, and based on her frequent updates with photos to us I think Puccini sat on or near her every minute she was here😄! She was here for five+ weeks, and anything that came up needing attention she took it in stride and and kept us informed so we never had to worry about a thing. And when we returned the house was immaculate — if it hadn’t been for the pictures she sent we would hardly know she’d lived in the house for five weeks! We’d love to host her again, any time, and if she applies to sit for you you should absolutely grab her before someone else does.

This was our first time using zeewoi, and Gaby made us feel reassured about leaving our 2 dogs behind to travel. She spent most of her time with them and sent pictures every day. It is clear Gaby loves animals deeply, so we were very happy to know our dogs were not just being looked after, but loved on in our absence. She took the time to get to know their individual personalities and quirks and give the specific type of care and attention needed for each pup. One of our dogs can be shy and insecure and very attached to me, but Gaby earned her trust in a matter of hours. Gaby allowed us to travel without worrying about our dogs, and we would have her sit for us again in the future!

I had a last minute trip come up, and was relieved Valerie was able to take care of my kitties in a pinch. I liked her immediately upon meeting her, and felt her great energy would be a perfect match for my shy kitties. As far as I could tell, Valerie took good care of the kitties while I was away. The communication was just okay. She eventually replied to my messages about this and that, but didn't really initiate or share little updates or photos of the kitties and how it was going unless I reached out first. When I came home, I discovered that an item of mine was missing and asked her if she had seen it anywhere, thinking I must have misplaced it before I left. She acknowledged she had taken it, but didn't actually apologize, incredibly, and then it was a real struggle to try to get it back or at least have her send a replacement. After much persistence and pursuit on my part and quite the runaround on her part, she eventually replaced it, but I was a bit taken aback by her blasé attitude about taking it in the first place and then casual avoidance to resolving the situation. All very surprising, and an unfortunate disheartening footnote to the petsit. All that being said, she left my house very clean and tidy, and the kitties seemed very calm and content when I returned.

Karen took excellent care of Zorro...He could not be happier! Since it was a long term sit and since it was during the summer, Zorro had a bad case of the fleas. His flea collar and frontline treatment was not working. After communicating with us, Karen took the initiative to take Zorro to the vet for treatment. When we got home Zorro was happy and flea free.

Cynthia was a perfect pet sitter for our little kitty. We knew from her extensive experience with cats that Nala was in good hands. She was extremely responsive via texts when we were away, ensuring us that the 2 of them were having a great time. She went absolutely above and beyond by scrubbing our bath and toilets to remove our mineral deposit rings that we haven't been able to get rid of! She even left the name of the product she used so we can get more in the future. The house was cleaner than when we left. We'll have her back anytime!

Joi did a wonderful job caring for my two cats and two guinea pigs, as well as caring for my home! She is coming back in November for a long sit while I am out of the country and we all can’t wait. Joi had experience with rabbits and jumped right in with guinea pig care. She is so calm around them that they were sitting on her lap day one! She spent time preparing their vegetables and kept their enclosure and room clean, which requires daily effort. She even washed the floor mats in their room so it was fresh when I returned home. She went above and beyond sending me daily photos and videos so I could see that everyone was healthy and happy. It was apparent to me that she spent a lot of time with my pets, which is very important so they don’t become stressed and lonely when I am away. Joi also took excellent care of my two cats. They receive daily wet food with some medication and she ensured that they received it on time. My cats barely noticed when I returned because they got so much attention from Joi. She took excellent care of my front garden flowers and my tomato and herb hydroponic gardens. These take some daily attention and time in the summer, and I returned home to them looking great! Joi is a very caring, clean, and thoughtful sitter and I hope she comes back many more times!

Summer was a very top-quality pet sitter and house sitter. She not only took excellent care of all four pets (three cats and a dog) but even achieved a very close bond with one of the cats. She went over and above the call of duty with our dog, who developed a serious skin condition while we were gone. We're so grateful that Summer was able to identify there was a problem, took the dog to the vet several times, and ended up having to apply topical medication and give pills and even keep the dog dressed in a t-shirt, which she did flawlessly. She communicated with us frequently, sending photos and updates, and the house was spotless when we returned, even cleaner than when we had left. She did an amazing job, knew how to handle any situation, always had a very upbeat and positive attitude, and we really enjoyed getting to know her right before we left and right after we returned. Laura came across the country to sit for us. She arrived a day early and from the moment my pets met her our Lokie was smitten. We have one shy cat Luna and she was out and about on the first night. Laura kept us updated and shared her Adventures as well. We do live in a small hideaway of a town so seeing that she was able to enjoy herself was nice. We returned to a clean home, laundry done also, and very content pets. Lokie was sad for a few days as he missed his friend. We would recommend Laura as a sitter to anyone and would have her back again. 5 plus stars. ⭐

My husband and I are so grateful for Cendy staying with our ~1yr old cat for nearly a full month. We were nervous to leave her for so long but Cendy had Wilma literally eating out of the palm of his hand and snuggling with him in no time. Cendy was incredibly communicative with us and attentive to Wilma consistently for the entire duration of the sit which was such a relief and gave us the piece-of-mind needed to fully enjoy our trip. We returned back to an impeccably clean apartment and a very content kitty. For the first few days back Wilma was definitely looking around for Cendy, missing her buddy. We (and Wilma!) would welcome Cendy back any time, especially for a longer stay knowing how responsible of a sitter he was. Couldn't recommend enough!

Susanne was absolutely amazing! She was very friendly and took great care of my cat. I had to increase the boarding dates last minute a few times due to my flight being moved around and she was more than willing to accommodate the extra days. She sent pictures, videos, and updates on my cat every day and was quick to respond to my texts and calls. I highly recommend her and would have her watch my cat again should the need ever arise. The room she set up for the cats has a few cat beds, a cat tower, toys, pillows, and a tv playing nature videos on it. Suzanne was the best sitter for my cat tuna. She provided images and videos everyday and took time to make sure tuna was comfortable and in the best care. When tuna was angry and hissing, she was patient and took time for tuna to become comfortable. In the end tuna loved her so much! Can’t wait to take her back to him when I’m traveling again. Best boarding that we have found, our dog Mickey loves to stay there and of course play in Susan's house pool when is hot, she really cares for him, ours is a Golden Retriever and he is very active, we never felt disappointed with Susan care, she really cares for our pets.
My pup has been going there for awhile now. They always give him lots of love and attention and they have a backyard which is great for even more exercise and playtime. He is always safe, happy, and healthy there and they love him like a dear family member.

Horrible , has no security in his backyard your dog can easily escape I left my dog with this guy a day before thanksgiving and after an hour of dropping her off he left the house and my dog managed to get out through his backyard my dog was lost for 28 hours in the cold after being hit by a car luckily she found shelter in a nearby restaurant where I went to pick her up I than rushed her to the hospital for a surgery after getting hit by a car that exceed over 2k This guy did nothing to help hasn’t checked up or anything please do not leave your dog with him if you love your furry friend keep them far away as possible
I have cannot say enough good about Happy Dog Sitting by Isaac. I have used his service for the past 3 years & could not be more impressed by the by the care, love , & attention he gives to his clients dogs. Isaac is the best dog(🐕) sitter we have used and the following are the pro/cons: Pro: 1) Takes our dogs to the small dag park every day - our dogs love it 2) All three of our dogs love Isaac to death and cry for him and are supper excited every time we drop them off or they see him at the dog park 3) Isaac owns his own dogs and the way he cares for them is impressive. He treats the 🐕 he sitts with the same love and care 4) Our dog love playing with Issac's dogs 5) Isaac took care of a dog from an owner who was dying of cancer - her last wish was for someone that really loves her dogs adopt it and he made that happen 6) Our dogs get lots of exercise and return exhausted 👍🏼 Cons: 1) Isaac spends lots of time at the dog park with the dogs especially when the weather is good

When we were planning to go away for over 2 weeks we turned to Michelle to stay at our house and take care of our anxious rescue dog, Stevie. We were so nervous leaving her but Michelle was truly amazing throughout the whole process. She came to meet with us and Stevie twice before the trip and Stevie took to her almost immediately (which is not something that happens often). Michelle calmed both our nerves as well as Stevie’s. She is on anxiety medications twice a day which Michelle handled without problems and she was in contact with us daily with pupdates and pictures. I honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing that our fur baby was being taken care of with the same level of attention and affection as she would get from us. Michelle is a true gift to the pets she cares for and the families who hate to leave them.
Michelle took excellent care of my three cats while I was away for 10 days. I felt completely comfortable with her in my house after observing her attention to detail, connection to my animals, and professional vet tech experience. The contract presented covered every detail, including natural disaster and emergency care, which put me at ease. She was in consistent contact with me, sending photos, videos, and updates on my three babies. I had such peace of mind being gone knowing she was engaging in play with them, and food/water was monitored. She was committed to keeping them and my house safe. (bonus points for returning to super clean house!) Thank you Michelle - you truly love your job and it shows.
Michelle took great care of our dog when we were out of town for nearly a week. Our dog can be difficult to walk and has pretty severe separation anxiety, but the whole week went great without any incidents. Michelle kept us updated with photos and videos which definitely helped with our own separation anxiety. Thank you Michelle!

Michelle is the best pet sitter we've had. We've come home to happy cats each time we've been away on a trip. When one of our cats passed away, and we had to leave town shortly thereafter, Michelle took special care with our other cat who was lonely after losing his friend. Michelle went the extra mile to not only make sure he was kept company and was adjusting OK, but to make sure that the two cat parents who were distraught over leaving him for the weekend knew that he was in good hands. She's wonderful.
We left our two Maltese’s for Michelle to fully take care of. She let us know daily how they were and sent us pictures of both as they were enjoying their time with her.We felt close to them even though we were away.When we got home they were happy and clean and happy to see us.I highly recommend Michelle as a knowledgeable and capable sitter that you can trust with your loving pets.
I am not normally a negative review writer, but my experience with my 2 special needs dogs and Pet-Tech Sitting by Michelle was awful enough to warrant doing this. It's actually difficult to know how to structure this, as there were so many issues. 1) She couldn't get pills down for our dogs. She's a vet tech. Doses were missed, and she was constantly texting me about it, rather than finding a solution. 2) I paid $3,500 for a week of service (7 nights and 8 days). She was still taking other pet sitting appointments, and was gone for approx 8.5 hours on our second night away. She had made us aware she was going to a concert, but not for that duration of time. Had it not been for our neighbors to feed and give them pills (and clean up after them), it could have been a disaster. 3) She thought that one of our dogs, who had just had surgery, was in pain and asked to take her to the vet. I arranged it, she then threatened to charge me extra to take the dog to the vet. When Mindy was ready to be picked up, her response was 'I can be there in an hour or 2.' 4) On our final day away, we had agreed that she would leave at 6pm. Then, in the middle of the night before we were meant to come home, she texts me saying 'oops I'm leaving at 1pm', thus leaving our dogs home alone for 9 hours. I reiterated our agreement, to which she did not care. Again, if it weren't for our neighbors helping out, we would have been screwed. 5) This is general: she would send VERY aggressive and long text messages, quite often. Her manner of communication was terrible, and I honestly wanted to leave the trip early as I had zero trust in her or her ability. Please, if you are looking for a sitter, don't hire this person, especially if your dogs have special needs, have just had procedures, etc. If I could give her less than one star I would.
Michelle was wonderful. She kept up with us and sent photos & videos of our babies playing. They were SO happy when we got home, which means they had a wonderful time when we were gone! It's nice to know they are in good hands, and with Michelle they are!

This place is beyond awesome! We took our Shiba Inu to the place when we visited Universal Studio. Shan and Dan's dogs are all really sweet and nice, our baby really enjoyed playing with them and he even cried when we picked him up because he had so much fun there and didn't want to leave! Definitely would recommend this place if you ever need to bring your dogs to daycare.
This place is awesome!! My pup was so happy while staying there, she meet new friends. The sitters were very responsive to text mesaages, even sent some pictures so that we can see what my lil one was doing. We will definitely be back when we visit CA again.
On vacation from our Las Vegas home, we have the extreme good fortune to find HOUNDS OF THE HILLS where we boarded our three little dog babies for a week. They were so loved, had much attention, many walks and really had a fun time. This place has no equal....it is simply the best.
Our Dog had a great time. The owner was very friendly. She met all of our expectations and more. The next time I am in California I will be taking my dog here for sure!

Jose is the most incredible dog sitter I’ve ever used. I don’t have the easiest dogs, and it’s always a challenge to find someone who has such calm energy that gets them to listen and relax. He gives updates with each visit with photos, and most importantly, my dogs adore him!

We enjoyed Uncle Jeff's Pet Sitting very much. We left our 2 small dogs and have never been happier. Uncle Jeff groomed both dogs and they looked great. We arranged for adult training for our older dog and puppy training for the younger one. Both displayed better manners when at home.We were also happy that both dogs were exercised and walked . We would definitely recommend Uncle Jeff's to everyone.
Jeff is a dedicated pet caretaker. He provided an in home atmosphere for your dog or cat like no other. His love for his your animal is apparent and your pet will feel like he is home upon arrival. He provides my big 130 lb white American bulldog with the same care an affection he shows for all animals, your pet will love the experience
Uncle Jeffs is one of the best animal boarding and pet sitting services I have encountered The owner Jeff is very professional and really easy to talk to he fully understood all my concerns about my pets and assured me everything would be fine he is a former Vet tech so he knows how to handle any emergencies that might arise.which put my mind at ease because my pets are getting up there in age so I would want someone who knows what their doing taking care of them in my absence . I can’t even begin to describe how wonderful Anna Marie is with our pup, Lucy. She’s extremely knowledgeable about how to care for dogs, flexible with my timings, and just an overall pleasure to talk to. We recently picked Lucy up from a 16-day stay, and not once over that period was I worried about how she was doing. Anna Marie went above and beyond - she sent frequent photos and videos, brushed her out daily, worked on commands, and even took it into her own hands to figure out what food Lucy needed when she was being a picky eater. To tell you that I was such at ease knowing she was in Anna Marie’s care is an understatement. I am so grateful to have found her and Happy Heart Pet Care. Don’t think twice about booking your pet here!
I am an EXTREMELY over protective Dog Mom to my 5 yo French Bull Dog Brodie. I have been searching for a dog sitter and trainer for him as long as I can remember, but I’ve never been satisfied leaving my fur baby until I found Happy Heart Pet Care. I will say I love to spoil my boy and only the best will do, however, this also meant he got away with a lot more behavioral wise then he should. So I needed to find someone knowledgeable that I could trust with my boy… I haven’t been able to find someone reliable that not only had the experience to help train Brodie, but that I felt comfortable trusting to care for him. Anna Marie checks all the boxes. She not only has helped with Brodie’s training, but I trust her to care for him as if he was her own. She is truly our dog nanny! Brodie loves Anna Marie and he has become such a better behaved boy since he was introduced to her training and care. Having a person who not only will train your dog, but love them the way you would is priceless. He respects her and she has a great relationship with my boy teaching him with obedience training and socialization. All the dogs she cares for are very well behaved so he has her pack to learn from as well. She also is a great resource for a number of suggestions and advice with regard to your pets health and well being. She is always the first person I call or text to ask any questions with regard to his health or needs, which is invaluable. She is one of the most kind and understanding people I’ve met in LA and I have no doubt I would ever find someone who cares or loves Brodie more as a trainer or dog nanny than her. Needless to say I highly recommend Happy Heart Pet Care. Your life will be easier with your dog if you use her, trust me!
So grateful to have found Happy Heart Pet Care--they are the best! I have an adopted pound dog who is super skittish (and bark-y) with new people and for the past 4+ years, has not been comfortable with other dogs. She LOVES Anna-Marie and Matthew and, after just three visits, she is already changing in wonderful ways--less skittish with new people and excited to play with other dogs, which I never thought possible. Anna-Marie is incredibly kind and accommodating, thoughtful about introducing new dogs to their environment, and thoughtful of skittish human owners, sending them photos of their happy dogs. I contacted them because of the consistently amazing Yelp reviews (a rare thing), without realizing they're on the west side of LA. My dog and I are way on the east side, but still travel there because knowing my pup is safe and happy with people she loves and who genuinely care is worth everything.
Matthew and Anna Marie are both so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about dogs. Their love for our 9week old Darcy is so heartwarming! I certainly had my concern leaving a young puppy with other people for a week, but Matthew and Anna Marie stayed very communicative. They also helped me on getting to know/adjust for a puppy. I could see Darcy was so well cared for through photos/detailed text updates. Truly appreciate their existence 💙
Anna-Marie took care of my 1 year old shih tzu puppy, Tater Tot, for almost 3 weeks while we were away. She was wonderful as she was very flexible with drop off/pick up times, and gave Tater Tot lots of love but also trained him! Tater is much more calm and well behaved now! He was brushed everyday, made many new dog friends, and enjoyed his walks. Anna-Marie updated us with cute photos and videos of him and we can’t wait to have him back with her again!
Where do I start? So thankful for Matt and Anna Maria. Matt has been a life saver with behavior modification with my sweet girl Cocoa. Cocoa is a hyper-vigilant rescue pit, with a few social challenges. Matt not only was able to with patience and professionalism, earn her trust, and help with her behaviors, he was also able to teach me, ways to manage when she and I are in the wild. He is very hands on, and teaches key fundamentals when handling a dog, and working with the world around them. I literally on multiple occasions have been able to handle situations without panic and stress due to Matt’s training. Cocoa also has been managing her stress better as well. You are equipped with the knowledge literally after just one session, the most rewarding thing is seeing the transformation in Cocoa. She has come such a long way. Happy Heart Pet Care has been a blessing. I highly recommend. 10 out of 10!
I highly recommend this company not just as a dog trainer but for all your pet care needs. They do training, dog sitting, walking, and even cat sitting. They are highly experienced and had my aggressive rescue dog showing improvement after just a few sessions! I’ve also used their services when traveling. They send updates on the pup and make sure he is very well taken care of. Highly recommend them!!
We found Anna Marie on Yelp and trusted the good reviews she had- it was the first time we left our puppy with someone she didn't know and in another city. We loved Anna the first moment we met her, she was super kind, and you could tell she had a lot of knowledge and experience with dogs. We saw our puppy liked her from the very beginning and felt safe with her- we left her one full day and, when we picked her up, she was super happy and looked like Anna took great care of her. I highly recommend her; she is amazing!
Matthew & Anna Marie are fantastic! They started working with my bullmastiff puppy December 1, 2023 and my puppy has grown into such a wonderful, friendly, obedient dog with the kindness & training from Happy Heart Pet Care.
