I have shared many a doggie playdate/ backyard with Lisa as she pet sits and walks her various little furry charges (we've met Ellie, Brody, Jolene, to name a few!) and I KNOW what capable, caring, good hands they are in when with her. Lisa is meticulous regarding maintaining the dogs' special dietary requests, watching for any concerning behaviors (scratching or licking paws, nervousness) and reporting back to their owners. She is a wealth of knowledge as far as where to go in the area for a safe, fun walk with dogs, as well as where to enjoy dog parks and dog activities in the area. Having Lisa and Tiffany take care of our dog for our first vacation away from him was the best decision we could have made! From the first phone conversation, to the “meet and greet”, to all of the home visits, Lisa was professional, responsive and reliable. Our pup can be a bit timid with others but warmed up to Lisa and Tiffany right away, they truly are amazing with dogs. We felt extremely at ease receiving photos and updates of how he was doing throughout the day and knew he was in great hands. He can get a bit rambunctious and they made sure he got his play time, and also kept the house clean and tidy, going beyond what we expected. We highly recommend Lisa’s services and would undoubtedly use her again!

Lisa and Pet Concierge By The Sea was exactly what our pup needed! As we were planning our 6-day drip to CA, we just knew we couldn't leave our pup at the local kennel. We knew he would be happier in a home setting where he'd get more love and attention and not hear endless barking! I called Lisa and we set up a "meet and greet" at her home, which went great! I could sense she has a genuine love for animals. Lisa also provided me with several references, who raved about her care of their pups. During our trip Lisa checked in every day with a photo to let us see how our boy was doing! After we returned and picked up our pup, he was happy and wasn't in "shock," like he has been after being in a big kennel. We're so happy we found Lisa! We will definitely use her services again and highly recommend!

The Pet Concierge By The Sea LLC has watched my dog, Ellie, for the last 5 years. She has bonded with my dog and Ellie runs to her when I drop her off. I totally trust LISA to take care of my dog and my dog feels very comfortable staying at Lisa’s house while I go away on vacation. She, also, tells me any of her concerns about Ellie and I know that she is truly interested in my dog’s well being. I, also, receive daily pictures of Ellie while I am away. When I had to start returning to work after remotely working due to the pandemic, I knew it was going to be hard for Roxy, my 13 year old Maltese, to transition. I am forever grateful that I found Lisa because from our first meet and greet, I knew I could trust her with Roxy and with my home. The way Lisa interacted with Roxy I knew she would be taken care of the way I would take care of her, and Roxy warmed up to Lisa immediately. From the pictures and the updates Lisa sends throughout my day, to her being flexible around my still not set schedule and last minutes changes (including having reliable back-up if she is not available,) Lisa is the whole package and a godsend. Her compassion and care for Roxy coupled with her steadfast professionalism eliminate my anxiety when it comes to opening my home and leaving Roxy in someone else’s care. And the happiness on Roxy’s face when Lisa sends pictures of her makes me know I made the best choice for her.

My dog recently stayed here five nights, as our go-to facility was booked. My takeaways: - the kennels are less than the quality I personally like to put my dog in - no noise-control, sound-blocking rooms so she was exposed to constant barking - I did ask for her to be social and play as much as possible. How I knew this didn't happen: when she comes home from doggie daycare (K9 Resorts) she is exhausted. I know she got to run around lots. Coming home after a few days.. she's pooped for days! This was not the case when I picked her up from Purr'n Pooch - Not sure they actually fed her the food I brought. I gave lots of extra food, but was handed back an empty canister. Felt like it was dumped somewhere. Tip: Don't forget your leash & harness, as they won't hold for you.

My dogs love purr n pooch. When we vacation we know they will be well taken care of and get lots of exercise while playing with other pups during doggy day care.

Our pup Willie Nelson goes there for daycare & has also been boarded there. He comes home dead on his feet each time because he has so much fun playing all day long. We like to call it a purr n pooch hangover. I would recommend them to any & everyone.

Our Bella stayed here for 4 nights. We called everyday for updates and they were happy to provide it. We also received pictures via text. They allowed us to bring Bella's blanket and her favorite frog toy from home for comfort. The rates are fair and the staff is amazing. Thank you for taking good care of our dog while we were away.

We left our pup here, we even paid for the upgraded suite. When we checked her in we told them she has anxiety. She was left in her kennel alone for so long that she broke a canine tooth. They didn’t acknowledge or call us when it happened. We only found out when I checked her out and got her home. It was a 4k bill at the vet to fix the damaged tooth because the root was exposed. They made a big show like they knew they were responsible and would help cover the cost. For months I called with no updates. The last time I called they basically told me to stop bothering them. It’s a business but they don’t seem to actually care if the animals in their care are cared for.

My puppy spent for days at Purr and Pooch over Thankgiving weekend. He looked great when he came home. I also had my pup groomed their a week ago and they did such a great job. I'm very pleased with them and there prices. Good prices and good treatment is important to me.

Bark at the Moon came recommended by my trainer. I needed someone to stay with Millie for 4 days over Christmas. From the first contact with Chaz, to the "meet and greet", to the actual stay with Eric it was clear that these are "dog people". With genuine enthusiasm and professionalism these guys made it possible for me to fully enjoy the holiday with my son in TX knowing that Millie was in her own home and on her regular routine with someone who really enjoyed her. Eric sent texts and photos every day which was awesome...we all got a kick out of them. My house was neat as a pin when I got home and Millie was a happy girl. Compared to other services that I spoke to the vibe was so positive and there's no hidden costs so the final total was exactly what they said and what I planned on. They were willing to be flexible if we needed it and I just felt comfortable. Highly recommend!

I’ve worked in the pet care industry for 6 years, so I know firsthand how important, yet difficult, it is to find trustworthy and caring people to take care of your animals. I found Erica and Chaz through a colleague when I was looking for a dog walker as my job got busier and it became more difficult for me to take my dog, Peaches, out in the middle of the day. They are the kindest and most caring human beings with her and have put up with her quirks so well and I would simply not trust anyone else, besides my parents, to take care of her. I adore both Chaz and Erica and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dog walker, pet sitter or trainer!

I recently rescued a puppy, Sadie, who had a rough start to her life. She was an incredibly fearful puppy and I was unable to comfortably groom her, get a collar on her or share a couch with her without fear of being growled at or snapped. Unfortunately, I tried a different trainer previous to Erica who actually recommended that I return my dog. I was feeling very lost and discouraged, but didn’t want to give up on Sadie. That’s when I found Erica and everything changed. Erica listened to my concerns and taught me positive reinforcement training techniques, which really helped to earn Sadie’s trust and reduce her fears. Sadie has blossomed into an incredibly happy, energetic puppy and I feel confident in the skills that Erica has taught me to apply them to future problems that may arise. I would recommend Erica from Bark at the Moon to anyone considering dog training.

My senior dog, Morty, is medically fragile and completely deaf. The care provided by Erica and Bark at the Moon is unparalleled. I know my dog is in competent, compassionate hands with this excellent company - they have my utmost trust. His medications and foods are dispensed perfectly and communication with Erica is always clear. She is extremely precise with care instructions and I feel confident that everything is handled down to the tiniest detail. His deafness means he startles easily and cannot use verbal commands, but Bark at the Moon is so gentle and patient that he is always at ease with them. He had an unexpected surgery recently and the care provided by Erica while he was recovering was nothing short of exceptional. She made sure he was comfortable as possible and took him on short little walk in his cone. They have my profound gratitude for helping our most beloved family member when he needed it most. If you are looking for pet care, you've found it. Bark at the Moon is the best there is.

The absolute best place to have your pup for daytime camp or boarding. It is immediately obvious they love each and every dog. I wouldn’t recommend another facility or staff, this is where to bring your pups. And I get some cute pics while I’m gone as well!

Our pups had a nice experience at Camp Bow Wow! Although, boarding dogs is never cheap, they are much more accommodating Camp Bow Wow than other establishments and give their over night staying dogs free access to their doggie daycare, unlike other places, in the area, who charge the full fee for doggie daycare, if you don't want your dog locked up in their kennel the whole time. Also, noticed they had older workers here who paid more attention to the dogs then at another place, where saw the workers on video, while checking on our dogs, looking disinterested and paying more attention to their phone screens than the dogs and the dogs were visibly bored. Not so at Camp Bow Wow! The folks there do a better job at engaging the dogs and keeping them happy! 😊

My Luna bear has been going to camp Bow Wow for 4 yrs now and it's her second home. The staff at camp Bow Wow has always made Luna and myself feel comfortable. She loves going to daycare and boarding. They are the own facility I trust with caring, loving and taking care of my Luna bear. They always go above and beyond and make it appoint to check in with me. Now having a new furry addition Oreo, who is a senior dog the staff takes extra care of him and gives him alot of love.

Eatontown Camp Bow Wow always takes great care of our Girl CC! We know she is in caring hands and we love getting daily pictures, updates & of course the report card when we pick her up!

They do an excellent job of grooming my dog, so much better than the previous groomer that she was afraid of! Now she always loves going! The day and overnight camp is great too!

Our dogs LOVE CBW! We can’t even say the word CAMP, In fact we think they’ve learned to spell it! They are always super excited to go. Being able to check on them on the cameras is always fun for us.

I never leave reviews and this has nothing to do w how they care for dogs (which I don’t know since I never got to even do a meet) however I do have to say this: I reached out to them Friday to have more info and set up a meet up, at 8pm I sent my address since we were meeting the next day at 11am. Saturday I get a text at 9 am saying “ I do apologize I’m not sure I would feel comfortable walking in the development. It hasn’t been the safest of communities” now, I’ve lived I the nice part of Asbury park and now live in a complex in brick. I’ve had former dog walkers coming at both places and not one ever complained. I live here and never had any issues at any hours ever. It just feel a very predjudice thing to say giving that my neighborhood isn’t a “white neighborhood by the water” I could be wrong. Whoever this left a VERY bad impression on me giving that the person that refers me to them is very trustworthy person

I’ve known Anna both personally and professionally for over 15 years. When I heard she was starting this business I couldn’t have been more thrilled. Anna is reliable, easy to communicate with, and mostly importantly great with my dogs!! They watch for her out the window and look forward to their walks. I have a very young large breed dog who can be a lot for some people to handle (including me), and her leash walking has greatly improved since beginning with On Point Pet Care.

On a scale of 1-5, I would give a 10! I’m not sure where to start! I was very weary about trusting a ‘total stranger’ to come into my home and care for my puppy. After all, he was only 8 weeks old! I live alone, and work a rotating schedule between overnights and evenings so it was very difficult to find someone to care for him on a repeat basis during these odd hours. After multiple attempts with other pet care services I reached out to Anna. I was immediately impressed with her responsiveness, professionalism, and most importantly, how personable she was. From our initial conversation, to the meet and greet, I could tell that she knew what she was doing AND that she had my puppy’s best interest in mind. It has been about a month now and even if I could, I wouldn’t have chosen any other pet care service! As crazy as the schedule is that I needed her for, she is always right on time! And the most important part is that my pup is enjoying himself(which I see from her updates while she’s there)! Anna really caters to each individual dog. The perfect example is that my little guy does not like to go for long walks. He goes outside to the bathroom and comes right back in. She goes above and beyond by playing with him for the entire time, and even assists me by working on his basic obedience. This was a huge plus with me, because I was very nervous about someone coming in and teaching him bad behaviors. She really seems to know her stuff! I’m sure I could go on and on, and I probably left a bunch of positives out, but I have yet to find any negatives! I 100% recommend Anna to anyone looking for a reliable, professional, and knowledgeable individual to care for their animals!

I can not say enough good things about Beth and the care that she gives to my 2 fur-babies! She has been walking and pet sitting for my dogs for the last 2 years. I work long, and sometimes unpredictable, hours at the Hospital. Beth has always come through when I've asked her to walk my dogs, even on short notice when I get stuck at the hospital with a late case. She is reliable, punctual, and very caring towards my dogs. She is also very knowledgable - when I adopted both of my dogs, she knew just how to approach each of them to gain their trust, and has picked up on when one of them was developing an ear infection and suggested I bring him to the Vet. I have used Beth and Home But Not Alone Pet Care for over 20 years. During that time, Beth has taken care of our cats and dog for extended vacations, sporadic, evenings, or days away, sailing weekends, and in the past year on a full-time basis, because of surgery that left me unable to care for my pets. She is incredibly reliable, knowledgeable about animals, and very caring and loving. After all these years, we consider her a member of our family. She also takes care of my son’s dog, and upon my recommendation, various friends’ pets. Everyone says the same thing. Home But Not Alone is the best care you can give your pet.

Beth took great care of our two cats when we were away. The cats are sometimes skittish, but she brought out the best in both of them. During our vacation, Beth took care of our cats and our house, keeping an eye on our newspapers and making sure the lights went on. We were also happy that if anything happened, she knows our vet's office and would contact them if needed. We will definitely use their services again!

Best in the business Wouldn't leave my baby with anyone else.

The kennel is slightly small, for our 1st visit we scheduled for 1 day and a half. First concern, was a conversation via email, a little unprofessional. Also not knowing they there feedings very early. We were not told during the scheduling phone call prior so my pup was not as prepared nor were we, so he went hungry. I scheduled my pup to stay for 1.5 days including a wash and a kennel slightly away from others (called premium/priority) due to my pups anxiety. We went through a day with no call backs so we assumed everything was okay. The next day during pick up the caregiver stated my pup did not eat nor want to get out the kennel. And she never called us telling us this. She never washed my pup and my dog became sick immediately after returning home. All the left over food that we brought was also not returned, however we are unsure if my pup was given the bags we provided. I'm not saying to kot try the kennel but to definitely not expect much either. I do not believe we will be returning. But it was definitely worth the shot at least.

Our EB loves it here!! Day care or a long stay while mom gets away our boy always wants to come back. The staff is AWESOME! Love all the other services such as nails, bath etc. All your pets needs are always met in a clean, safe and most of all loving environment. As new residents of NJ, we spent lots of time searching for a great and trustworthy dog boarding business to watch our two pups. We found Highland Kennel and read multiple reviews so we decided to try them out. As animal lovers who spoil our dogs, Highland Kennel does just that. We have been frequent customers of them and highly recommend them! Our dogs love going there and are instantly met with love, care, and affection when they walk through the door. Doc even guards the place, too! Every time we pickup our pups, they are always tired and happy from all the attention and playtime they have. Definitely recommend them, especially for the overprotective "pet parents" like us. Jackie and Shirley are always very nice and extremely accommodating. -Mogul and Hoosier

Nice facility, nice people. Billing is suspect as they don't provide an itemized invoice and "extra" charges are not clearly defined. Stayed 3x. 1st was great. Second time bill shocked me a little. 3rd time the bill floored me. Did not provide adequate explanation. There will not be a 4th time.

Beyond amazing! My little guy Ernie isn't the easiest dog in the world and Highland Kennels went ABOVE and beyond to care for him and put me at ease while I was away. We drove 1+ hours each way to stay with our new family at HK and will continue to do so for the superior service we received. Cannot thank you enough for loving my dog as much as I do! The people there are excellent and their prices are second to none. My puppy was apprehensive, but they were so patient getting her to accept them.

Highland Kennel takes great care of our two Rotties! It's obvious they treat our dogs like family, because every time we pull into the driveway, the pups can't wait to go inside! We know they're in great hands at Rescue Ridge's Highland Kennel!

They were kind, knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable to leave my two dogs there for the weekend. I have used them in the past and they were just as spectacular now as they were then. They kept me updated when I called and, just by talking with the staff, can tell they love animals, are passionate about providing the best care and I would definitely bring my puppies back there again. We have been using Highland Kennels for 11 years and its the only place we trust with our 3 furbabies. The entire staff is wonderful. The same girls have been there since we started using them which is important and shows they treat their staff well. The reasons we love and use Highland is because they have been in business for 40 plus years, they do not do group play with other dogs, they have secure indoor/outdoor runs, the staff is wonderful and there is someone on the property 24/7.

The absolute best. Five stars in service, reliability, and building a relationship with my dog. Mike genuinely cares about my dog’s well-being and also my well-being of being a paranoid dog mama! So I guess five stars in patience too! Mike always communicates and takes pictures while he is with my dog so I always know what’s going on.

We only trust Mike with our 2 year old Frenchie!! He takes such good care of our boy while we’re away! We love his updates with daily pictures and videos of our dog having fun at Mike’s Motel!

They took amazing care of my dog! They messaged me daily on how she was doing. My pup got three walks a day and I'm told she was very well behaved. My dog was in very good hands. If I need boarding again in the future I'll definitely use Mike again. I highly recommend!

I have been trusting Mike with my pup for a good 5 or so years now. I will not leave her with anyone else (not even my family!) He is responsive, sends updates, photos. An all around great guy. Now that my dog is older and not as healthy, he is the only one I would Consider taking her for the day/night and administering her medication or tending to any needs she may have in the future. You can tell he loves her as much as she loves him. Highly recommended.

Been taking my dog here a few years. Mike is professional, courteous, and quick to respond. My dog always has a good time. Mike keeps you informed with how your dog is doing with texts and pictures throughout the day. He'll even cook for your dog for a small additional fee. Highly recommend.

Mike is AMAZING. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my two puppies... he’s professional and always on time! He also just boarded my mini pincher for the past week and I know he is so happy and comfortable! Whether you need a dog walker or a boarder, trust mike he will not disappoint!!!!

Mike, was very nice and genuine. I found him on the Rover app and asked about his prices to watch my two dogs while I was away. He accommodated me and my dogs. Was in constant contact with me throughout the weekend. I definitely recommend him to anyone.

Just picked up Prudence from her 10th visit with Uncle Mike. I never have to worry when we are away. Mike sends daily pics and updates. Prudence loves staying with him and playing with his pup Archie. I would definitely recommend Mike’s Dog Motel. 🐾🐾

Make sure u let the staff know you want your dog to run around. They will charge an extra fee. They said they asked me, and I declined... LIE!! Of course, I want my dog outside running.. You would think it's included!!! It was very upsetting that my poor dog was caged for 3 days!

I highly recommend this place for any pet owner. Wonderful staff, caring, kind, patient all of the above 5 stars. I always get worried leaving my 12 year old Yorky-poo even with family but last minute had to leave out of state and they were excellent. 5 stars!!! I don’t use that lightly but they deserve all the praise and respect.

Used them for first time on a friend's recommendation. They welcome dogs of all breeds and sizes. I picked my boy up after a week just like I left him - healthy, happy and full of energy!

The Squankum Animal Inn is wonderful. This is my third occasion that I have left my pets there and each time has been a pleasant experience. The pricing is reasonable and the staff is always friendly, professional, and very helpful.

Awesome place! Staff is friendly and professional but most importantly they LOVE dogs and it shows! This is a place your dogs will look forward to staying at! I drive almost 100 miles each way to get there and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else! Marci is the best!

Dropped my dog off for a week long visit.. Staff was awesome, my dog is deaf and they were great with him he was in great spirits at time of pickup .

It was our first time leaving any dog we've ever had in boarding. And Luna was so happy there! We will definitely be using them again. Very pleased with the exceptional care they took of our dog.
