Cleo and Thiago were amazing sitters. Our dog Mac loved them to bits. They kept us up to date daily with pictures and videos which made leaving our fur baby much easier. They were very organised and responded quickly to messages. We arrived home to the most amazing Brazilian lunch after a long time travelling and could not have been more grateful. The house was spotless and we would recommend them 100%.

Third sit for us from Craig and Lesley. Like the previous two, the sit was straightforward from organising the sit, to arrival and right through the sit until we came home. We were kept updated throughout and when one of our cats unusually stayed out all night, they kept looking for her until she showed up again which really put our minds at rest. Emma took excellent care of our dog and home while we were away. She communicated well in the lead up and during her stay, sending reassuring updates and lovely photos. Emma was flexible around arrival and departure time which was very much appreciated as we were travelling with a young baby. As soon as Emma entered our house she was fussing our dog and putting her at ease which was lovely to see. Emma clearly has a love of animals and we returned home to a very happy and relaxed dog. Lucy and Jaz were the best sitters! We were away for nearly 3 weeks and returned home to a pair of happy and relaxed pets. The apartment was immaculate, clean and tidy and the laundry was on! They are a lovely couple and true animal lovers - our neighbours remarked on how well they were taking care of Hoshi. I recommend them very highly.

Rose & Michael have a tremendous back catalogue of great reviews: the reason is simple. They are truly fantastic house sitters! Thank you both for looking after Finn and Arthur so well. From the initial contact, through our video chats, our WhatsApp contacts prior to the sit, our 24 hr handover and then during the sit itself when for me the contact and updates from home were just right, Rose & Michael fully met and exceeded my expectations. They are caring, thoughtful and kind people. I travelled with full confidence Finn would be having a great time too - and so it proved. To top off the sit, I have returned to a sparkling house and two very happy pets. Thank you both again and do come back anytime!

Kendra was a great cat sitter to Genepi and she truly is a cat whisperer. Genepi usually takes 4 days to make friends with a new person but she came out and made friends with Kendra Day 1! Kendra regularly sent wonderful videos and pics of Genepi purring happily. The apartment was neat when we returned and our garden was blossoming. Would absolutely ask Kendra to sit again and highly recommend her. Thanks Kendra!!

Florence and Robert were outstanding sitters. We asked them to arrive a day early as our guests to learn the routine on our farm. In getting to know them we found them to be good hearted, down to earth people with a love of animals and diligent in learning our routines to care for our poultry, cats and dog as well as our garden and orchard. Not a typical or easy sit. We travelled with ease knowing our critters were being well taken care of. Arriving home, the house was very clean and looked well cared for. The animals were healthy as were the garden and orchard. Out pets missed them when they left – our dog stared down the driveway after them until their car was out of sight. It is nice to find sitters we would like to hang out with and we look forward to having them sit for us again.

Pares is an experienced and quality sitter and we knew our cat Juniper (and a few plants) was well cared for. We received regular updates and photos which was really nice to have during our travels. While we missed Juniper, we could see that she enjoyed receiving cuddles and attention from Pares. Upon returning home, our flat was clean and tidy, and Juniper was very happy! I am struggling with naming our top adjective to describe Michael and Jeanne. "Conscientious" will likely be it but then again, "personable," "reliable," "organised," and "animal-loving" are top contenders. If you are reading this review and contemplating inviting this couple to watch your pets, then look no further. We have had a number of excellent house sitters but this pair was next level in terms of the love they showed our cats, Maxx and Nala. When we came back, we could our animals already missed them. These cats, who have never slept with anyone other than us, were getting in bed with them each night -- and that meant climbing stairs! The day before our trip, Nala got an ear infection and had to be put on steroids for asthma. Michael and Jeanne did not sign up for that when the sit was booked but they took it in stride. In the last-minute rush, I relayed that Nala needed her oral steroids morning and night. Michael read the RX label, indicating one dose a day, and contacted the vet to clarify. So you can see why "conscientious" is right up there. They saved Nala from an overdose! We were gone three weeks and they sent us just the right amount of pictures and videos. They bought cat toys (I forgot to put ours out!) and actively engaged with them, including 20-minute massages for Maxx. I truly believed them when they said they fell in love with our fur babies. The house was spotless (which was not important to me but truly appreciated) but I smiled when all six water stations in our yard were filled. They took seriously my love for and the needs of the wildlife in our yard. Our plants were all in good condition as well. Sensing they were "next level" when I met them, I predicted they would want to leave a meal for us upon our return. I asked them not to but they found another way to bow out with class. They made a donation to a nonprofit I work with instead. This I learned from the lovely thank you note they left. I hope they will consider Charles and I friends because we certainly feel that way about them now. What special people. If you book them, treat them well because they are going to do that for you for sure.

Anna was an excellent sitter - she took great care to understand all of the intricacies of taking care of the house and cats, asked lots of questions, and arrived on time and ready for the sit. During the trip, she checked in with updates, and upon returning home, left the space tidy and clean. The cats were happy and healthy, and seemed to have had a great time during the sit. Thanks Anna!

Angel was absolutely the best house sitter we could have hoped for. She is a very warm, open and diligent person and our two cats adored her. She looked after our house and garden with really conscientious care. She won over our very timid cat, Billie, and sent regular photos of both cats looking supremely content which gave us perfect peace of mind. The house was completely spotless on our return and the garden was fabulous... no mean feat since there was a heatwave while we were away and she kept everything watered and in great condition. We would have Angel back at the drop of a hat and cannot recommend her highly enough.

Paige, David, and family were WONDERFUL sitters for my crew! They were so pleasant and personable, and the pets warmed up to them very quickly. Even my rescue cat who tends to stray away from men loved David. I received regular updates and communication (before and during the sit). I truly did not have any concerns while I was away knowing that everyone had such great care and attention given to them. (I know the dogs had a good time because when I came home there was no commotion over my return.) I was away on NYE and Paige had no issues keeping an eye on one of the dogs who has anxiety surrounding loud noises. The family cleaned up after themselves and may have left the house cleaner than when I left! Truly such a great family who I would welcome back any time!

We can not exaggerate the care and love Juliet and Laurent gave to our cat, Piero, during his the last few weeks of life. While we left for our trip thinking he merely had a bladder infection, his symptoms turned for the worse a weeks into their sit and later revealed he had cancer. No one would wish their sitter to need to hospice their cat but Juliet and Laurent showed such compassion for Piero and volunteered to be with him when we made the decision to put him down. It was an emotional time for all of us and we will be forever grateful to our two caring cat and house sitters. We have had many fantastic housesitters through zeewoi but Juliet and Laurent top the list. Their professionalism, constant communication and compassion were exceptional. Should you have the opportunity to have them in your home, do not hesitate to book them, you will have no regrets. We do, however, regret that they had such a short time with Piero and had to experience such a painful event.

Couldn’t be happier with We Love Animals. Spent two weeks away from flat and our cat and they were perfect. Not only did they care for our cat’s food and litter but they made sure she was happy and played with. It really was apparent that she loved spending time with Mew. The fact that we knew someone was caring for our home while we were away was also a bonus. Angela dropped us an email everyday with pictures just to keep us up to date and keep our minds at ease. Before we left we had an issue with accessibility to the main building, and she was great when dealing with that slight curve ball. Angela has looked after my kitty for two years and has been absolutely incredible with her. Arya has behavioural issues and needs daily meds; Angela was amazing with persevering giving these to her despite the occasional cat attack! Angela's service is amazing value for the amount of care you get - I'm nervous about leaving my pet so I get daily texts with photos. Plus free plant watering etc, and when there's been a flurry of fur Angela has even vacuumed so there's not a mess to come home to. I'm sorry to have moved away from Edinburgh as I'm sure I won't find another cat sitter as caring and thoughtful (and who my notoriously suspicious cat will trust!) as Angela. 10/10 recommend!
An amazing service. I was very nervous leaving my cat while I went away but after I met Angela in the pre house visit I was put at ease. It is clear how much she loves animals and my usually timid cat went to her straight away...even climbed on her back. My cat was taking medication which was no problem for Angela and they sent me daily updates including pictures. I would not trust any other company to look after my girl! A***
To be able to leave my cats at home instead of taking them to a pet hotel is really great!! I’ve been really lucky to find We Love Animals. Searched for years for a cat sitter we felt we could trust and came across We Love Animals last year and they have been sitting our cats ever since. From the first meeting they have been extremely professional and quickly earned the trust of both our cats - not the easiest of things as they have studiously ignored everyone else who has looked after them for us! I can't even begin to describe how wonderful Anne and Angela have been! I desperately needed a pup sitter multiple times while staying in Edinburgh but usually do not trust anyone to look after my precious pup cargo. Thankfully, I was lucky enough to stumble upon these ladies. I and my pup, Penny, absolutely loved them on first meeting with them. I have anxiety; my dog has anxiety...and there was nothing but a complete feeling of relaxation and assurance with Angela and Anne, trusting that they would take excellent care of my fur baby. Penny was always happy and excited to see them! And they went above and beyond, arriving early, staying late when I was running late, taking Penny all over Edinburgh for walks and exploration, snuggling with her, feeding her, and sending a smorgasbord of photos of Penny's adventures to me. I would use their dog-sitting services again in a heartbeat! If you have any apprehensions about leaving your fur babies with a stranger, dispel them now. Anne and Angela will quickly become your and your fur babies' friends. Anne and Angela are the sweetest, kindest, funniest women around, brimming with Scottish charm and energy, and I literally can't thank them enough for helping me out and loving my wee lil Penny like I love her. Our first time leaving our rescue dog while we go on holiday and we were a bit nervous as he can be reactive with other dogs, our minds were put at ease by Jim and when we picked our dog up he seemed to be happy and had a good time (taking a shine to another dog who was also staying at the retreat). We'd highly recommend and will definitely book Roki here next time we go away (if there's space).
I left Skye, my lovely, and lively, little Cocker with Angela and Jim, who are real "doggy people". Skye had super accommodation, and lots of space to run and enjoy the company of other dogs. She was a happy wee dog when I saw her after her wee holiday. I will certainly use CVPR again.
Fantastic dog boarding, owners were very welcoming and friendly and put our minds at ease as we had never put our dog in boarding before. When we picked him up, it was great to see him giving the owners cuddles and seeing videos of his time when away. We will definitely use again in the future! Thank you.

Best kennels I have ever been to great service and my dogs are well looked after
Jim and Angela are absolutely wonderful. Their care of our 2 labradors - one young and bouncy, the second, older and more reserved, was second to none. Jim kept us updated with photos and videos on a daily basis. But the best thing was seeing how the dogs responded when we picked them up. As they danced around us, running from one family member to another, Jim was included: he was now clearly a pack-member. I cannot think of a higher accolade. And our reserved dog looked at us contentedly (he normally avoids eye contact if we have to leave him, and can keep that up for a long time). It is such a relief to know that places like this exist. It was home-from-home for our dogs. Thank you Jim and Angela!

Our two boys and our daughter's girl are just home from a 5 day stay. Absolutely delighted with their care at this unique pet hotel. My boy Vinnie seems to have had a great time with Brian and Margaret. He was following them around when I arrived to collect him. They took great care of him for me. It is a lovely setting with plenty of safe space outside for them to run or wander with the other dogs. I would highly recommend this kennel.

Our wee Shih Tzu had his first experience staying in a dog boarding situation in June of this year with Margaret, Brian and team. They took exceptional care of him and he came home clean, well fed and happy. We expected him to be unsure at first but the team took the time to help him feel at ease. Facilities are fantastic! We recently starting using Dogchester after a recommendation from a family member. Whilst we were abroad for our wedding, we received a phone call from Margaret that our dog, Nala, seemed to have suddenly been unable to walk. We both agreed that if the situation becomes worse, then Nala should be taken to the nearest vet the next day. The following day I missed an early morning phone call from Margaret but she texted to inform us that she has taken Nala to our local vets in East Kilbride and was waiting to get referred to the vet hospital in Bearsden. We later discovered that Nala had a slipped disc (due to structural deficiency) and had to undergo an emergency operation immediately. If it wasn't for Brian and Margaret's quick thinking and efforts in taking our dog to the vet then there would have been a greater chance of Nala being unable to walk again. We are so grateful for Margaret and Brian being there for Nala in such perilous situation. I cant imagine the stress that they two must have been under having to take someone else's precious injured pet to the vet, not even factoring the long journey from Lesmahagow to East Kilbride vets then having all the waiting time at the vet hospital in Bearsden. I can't stress how forever indebted we are to Dogchester for saving our precious Nala. Margaret and Brian have been keeping in touch with us ever since and asking for updates on Nala's recovery. This truly shows they really care about your dogs and its not just a business for them.
Set out in the country side on a big bit of land. This is a true dog hotel,it has a reception desk and the dogs get a large room with a raised bed,television and doors leading to a small outdoor area. The owners are true dog lovers and although it is hard to go away and leave your fur babies I did feel comfortable in that they would be well cared for
Great boarding kennels. My 12 year old beagle came back looking like a puppy. She loved it! Great staff too very friendly.
Owners are excellent. Only place I feel comfortable leaving my dog, i couldnt leave my dog just anywhere and the owners really do ensure hes looked after and gets the attention he needs. Thanks. Used several times and worth every penny.

Artemis Exotic Pet Boarding was absolutely brilliant would highly recomend to anyone. Jade was 1st class with my beardie Ralph and cares for the pets unlike some places that take them in and dont bother with them. Kept upto date with pics and videos. Proper heat, lighting and keeps the pets well fed.Any time im working away or on holliday ill use Artemis. No option for 10 stars as 5 is not enough. Our tortoise had a week with Jade. It was such a relief to know that she was being looked after by someone with genuine interest and enthusiasm for all animals. Jade kept us informed of her health and sent us pics regularly. We will be booking all of our tortoise's trips with Jade from now on!
Booked my beardie in for 10 days with Jade and it looked like he had an absolute blast! She kept me up to date with photos and how he doing through out his stay which I loved. Jade was so nice and couldn't be more helpful. We brought our 3 ferrets to her for their first time away from us. She has a lovely set up with lots of toys and things to keep them occupied and stimulated. She spent time with us getting to know the boys and their routines before we left. The picture and video updates were brilliant and the boys looked so content and happy throughout. When we arrived to pick them up, they were still quite happy to stay and were climbing all over Jade for some attention. One of our ferrets is a rescue and doesn't quite warm to other people, but he seemed to love her! None of our ferrets seemed pushed in any way to come home with us! I would definitely be recommending Artemis Boarding, Jade obviously has a genuine love and interest in giving the animals the very best possible care and attention. Couldn't recommend enough!
My 2 boys spent 10 days with Jade whilst I was on holiday and think they are gutted to be back home! Jade's setup inside her home for ferrets was phenomenal and I was kept regularly updated with videos. Service was very professional, cannot recommend enough. Jade's been absolutly amazing with our gang of 4 ferrets - she's our go to now for whenever we need to go away. So pleased to have found someone we can trust - especially now a couple of the gang are older and on regular medication - and they get to stay indoors, which is so much better for them since that's what they're used to at home. She's been really thougher with getting all the info she needs from us about their routine, eating habits/times, medication info, vet info etc. She has a ferret herself too, so knows what she's doing with them, with is really reassuring. And she clearly looks after them so well and seems to enjoy having them - sometimes I wonder if they're having more fun with her than they do at home! lol. She comes up with stuff for them to play with, and she's really getting to know their wiered little personalities. She is able to provide a cage, provides blankets etc, and will cook chicken for them (their go-to treat!) - and her house is right near the moterway, so it's really simple dropping them off....and she keeps in touch, sends whatsapp videos and pics of how they're getting on, which is really nice. Couldn't reccomend more :)
Our 3 ferrets had a great time on their return visit to Jade's while we were on holiday. Jade is so thoughtful and attentive. We appreciated the regular videos which reassured us that they were having a good time. They're already booked in for their next visit!!
Cookie and Jinx our two ferrets stayed for a week with Jade for their first holiday and they had a blast! Jade kept us updated with videos every day and I could see they had settled in so well and were happy running about playing with toys and each other. They were very content and well looked after. Tortie absolutely loved his stay with Jade. He was so well looked after and given loads of attention, interaction and stimulation. He was less of his grumpy self and enjoyed dandelion treats and outside adventures in a safe enclosed space. We, his servants, were kept updated regularly with all of his antics while we were away. Highly recommend the Paw Seasons Resort! Our dog Bonnie had a glorious time, basking in the garden and hanging out with the resident pooches for the week whilst we were on holiday. We were concerned as it was her first “sleepover”, but Angela was kind enough to send some photo updates whilst we were away which really put our mind at rest. She was clearly treated like royalty, we wondered if she’d ever want to leave (!) but we were re-united with a clean, relaxed and cheerful pup. The house is well catered to dogs, loved the doggy dormitory for relaxing in the evening and the grounds are massive with lots of space to roam. We will definitely use the Paw Seasons again in the future! Thank you for taking care of her so well.
Highly recommend Angela and Pawseasons. Angela has walked my two labradors Skye & Jura for over 2 years, she is very organised, reliable, keeps me well informed and my girls love her ! They recently stayed at Pawseasons and had a great time; home from home luxury. Pleased to say they are booked in for more stays this year. Thank you for making my girls feel so at home.
Used Paw Seasons Resort for the first time recently, Matt and Angela were extremely friendly and Mabel loved her stay! Would 100% recommend and we will be using again.

Best boarding service for dogs in Lanarkshire. My dog comes back shattered. Get daily pictures and video of all the dogs while were away.
You know your dog is well cared for here, photos videos posted showing the dogs having fun together, dog gets all excited as we approach the gate as he knows hes going to see all his friends then comes home and just falls asleep sometimes I struggle to get him out his evening walk as he refuses to get out his bed
Girls that run this place truly love the dogs... Jaxon came home exhausted and happy...

Had my dog codie in for a few days last weekend at the 3rd time of trying and I couldn't have been more happier with the service provided by Tom & Angie. I've had him in at other kennels in the past but never had reassuring feelings about them and constantly thot about my lad whilst away wondering if he was ok, the pics that are posted on Fb go a long way to putting the mind at ease. The kennels came highly recommended by a friend and I'll definitely use again and will also recommend to anyone looking to board their pet while on holiday.
My dog skye stayed overnight for the first time. She was a bit anxious at first but tommy and angie spent so much time with her that when i picked her up the next day you could tell by the way skye was interacting with them that they had done a great job!! Recommend Mandy! 100% she has been great with our French Bulldog, who previously suffered some behavioural issues however she persevered with him & now he’s doing great and loves his walks. Our dog actually screams with excitement when Mandy comes to collect him. This has allowed us to get back into the office for work. Wouldn’t manage without her! Xx

I can't recommend Mandy highly enough. She has such a way with dogs and seems to love all of them. My Della can't wait to run out and jump into Mandy's van even when it's pouring and Della hates the rain. Mandy is always willing to accommodate what you need. Della and I would vote for Mandy as best dog walker in Lanark.
