Providing Pet Sitting in the Laurel Park, Pennsylvania
Providing cuddles and care to pets since 1984
Amanda was great! She was timely, took great care of the pets, and kept us updated. We had a flight delay coming home and she stayed a little later to make sure the pets weren't alone too long before we got home, which we appreciated. Our house was neat and clean and the pets were happy! Would recommend.

Reliable Pet Companion
Chris is the best!! Chris took amazing care of my two cats. My elderly, very shy kitty loves him. My playful, 7-year old one got individualized play -- Chris even brought some toys! Both were happy and relaxed when I returned home after a week away. Chris delighted me with videos of the cats. In addition to being wonderful with the pets, Chris is an incredibly respectful house guest. I found the place as it was, probably even cleaner! He even did the sheets which I had mentioned I'd launder when I get home. Chris is easy to communicate with, friendly, and just all around awesome.

Remote worker seeking new adventures, acquaintances (2 and 4 legged)
Kevin was sensational. Great with pets, compulsively clean and tidy, even brought all his needs with him, left the house more beautiful than before. He is smart, friendly, and walked the dog a lot more than he gets usually. I trust him completely and hope he comes again.

I highly recommend Jaime. I am a picky person when it comes to my home and my dog. Jaime left my home in better shape than when I left it and took great care of my dog. Thank you!!! Kim

Friendly sweet couple looking to take care of your best friends!
Tatiana was an AMAZING sitter! I could tell she had a warm heart from our first conversation. She loves animals, and did an excellent job caring for my cat. She understood my cats unique needs being newly adopted, and made sure to give the best care possible. When I came home from my trip my apartment was SPOTLESS! It was probably the cleanest it has ever been. Thank you so much Tatiana, and I'd be happy to have you anytime.

Let me help you travel with peace of mind.
Habiba did a wonderful job taking care of our home, 3 rabbits and plants for 3 weeks. Habiba is such a nice person and treated everything as if it were her own. She left our home clean and went the extra mile to make sure our bunnies were happy while we were gone. We highly recommend having Habiba take care of your home and pets!

Wandering traveler with lots of love to give!
Abbi was super sweet and helpful and flexible. We decided to foster an additional cat last minute and she rolled with it and followed our instructions through the introduction process and even shared her expertise. Both cats were happy and well taken care of.

Anna was an excellent sitter - she took great care to understand all of the intricacies of taking care of the house and cats, asked lots of questions, and arrived on time and ready for the sit. During the trip, she checked in with updates, and upon returning home, left the space tidy and clean. The cats were happy and healthy, and seemed to have had a great time during the sit. Thanks Anna!
The best cat sitters ever! They loved our cats and spent so much time playing with them and making sure they were happy! We had photos and videos every day with funny little messages and we came home to two very happy, healthy cats. The house was spotless and they even washed the linen and towels! They left us some cute Easter presents and breakfast shopping in the fridge, as we were returning after a long flight. We would definitely recommend Michael and Jeanne to anyone and hope they will come back to Teignmouth in the near future. Thanks very much for looking after our beautiful cats and our home x
We were so pleased to meet John and Trisha! We had them come in a day before we left and enjoyed a nice meal with them and they got to meet Delilah (even if she didn’t seem interested) but she soon warmed up to them - except for the Cat Videos - she wasn’t very interested 🤣 When we returned our home was so clean (probably cleaner than we left it)! We got frequent pics and updates on our Princess! They also left us with a Progress Report with Delilah’s activities and what they did at the house before they left. We would highly recommend John & Trisha if you are lucky enough to have them apply for a House Sitters job! Bill, Kathy & Delilah 🐈⬛❤️
Lindsey was super communicative, friendly, responsible, and an excellent sitter for our two cats. When we returned, our home was clean and our cats relaxed and happy as if we had never left ! She sent us photos and updates every day, as requested, and when a random mishap occurred in the apartment, she let us know right away and was proactive in handling issue. We felt like both our cats and our home were in very caring, capable and respectful hands. Excellent! Thank you Lindsey!
Wow! Just wow! We cannot say enough about the care and compassion Trisha and John provided to our cats and our home. We are always somewhat nervous about a new pet sitter in our home, but that all faded when we met this wonderful couple. They provided daily updates as requested, complete with pictures, videos and personalized captions. Upon our return, we were greeted by happy and content kitties. There was no sign of anxiety in Tika! Yea!!! Our home was clean, the sheets and towels were washed and bed remade! They even left behind thank you notes and little gifts! What a breath of fresh air these two individuals are! We hope to have them back again soon.
Denae and Burl were absolutely fabulous house/pet sitters for 4 weeks, Dec 2022- Jan 23. They are very friendly and intelligent, caring towards the animals (2 cats and 1 lively dog), and left our home clean and tidy. It all went very, very smoothly. It was a pleasure to deal with such nice people. We have invited them back whenever they want and hope the rest of their exploratory mission is a great success. I would be pleased to be contacted if anyone needs a further reference.
Oh wow! Everyone should be so lucky to have Nicholas and Veerle watch their house and pets. These lovely people are pros! They communicated early and often, were super accommodating to some last minute changes (it was originally going to be only our cats to watch but we decided to keep the dog home as well so that added to the schedule and care needs) and they left the house spotless and all set up for another sitter who came in after them. We didn’t get the chance to meet because my departure and arrival times but I dearly hope I get to in the future because they were just great! I even heard how nice they were from My neighbors who say them out walking our dog. :-) They also sent regular pictures of the pets which look like pro-photography! Cannot recommend this couple enough! Your pets and house will be in good hands!
Danny and Jo did a great job caring for our 3 cats and fish AND lots of plants (and home of course) while we were out of town for 3 weeks. We came back to a very clean house, sheets, and towels all clean and folded and fresh sheets on the bed they were using. The plants were all alive too, which is a first for us (again, we have a lot of plants!). The cats were happy to see us and they were all accounted for (a past sitter lost a cat for a week - they escaped outside as a non-outside cat). Everything was in its place and looked great. We received regular updates (via text) with photos of the cats lounging about which was important for us. Danny asked good questions when they visited us before the sit, and when reviewing our pet/house sitting instructions. The only thing we noticed that was different was that our 2 young cats were a little lighter (not necessarily a bad thing) but we understand that being gone for that length of time can be stressful on our furry family, which almost always affects their eating habits. All in all, we would definitely have them again!
Tonya was great and filled in after our other sitter had to cancel. She was very self sufficient and navigated acclimating herself to everything since she arrived after we left. She gave thoughtful updates on my cat and I could tell she really enjoyed her, so that means the world to me! She left the place immaculate and we will certainly have Tonya back!
Cat and Paul were wonderful sitters - our cats were contented and calm when we returned. And the house was spotless. Plus Paul mowed our entire yard including the back meadow - what a surprise! We very much enjoyed visiting with them as well and getting to know them. Highly recommend :)
Is it better to board cats or leave at home?
Veterinarians advising to leave cats at home with a pet sitter who will stay overnight in your home, boarding is not recommended for cats as they are stressed in a new environment, you can find a sitter who will care for your cats and home for free at Zeewoi.
How much should you pay someone to watch your cat?
At least $20 per visit, $20/day per overnight watching in your home, otherwise you can find a free sitter at Zeewoi.
What do people do with their cats when they go on vacation?
Inviting a cat sitter to your home, boarding the cat with a local business, asking a friend, family or neighbour to feed and check the well-being. The most efficient way to leave your cat during your vacation is with Zeewoi cat sitters for free, in this way, you will save cat sitting costs and make vacation not only for you but also for your cat sitter!
Got a beautiful loving mini poodle, Polly, from Erla and Edwin on 11/1/24. She has been so sweet and such a good girl. She was the best decision I have made! She did great on her 6 hour ride back home🥹Thank you! …
Thank you Martin's Double E Kennel for our dog. He truly changed our families lives. He is such a good boy. My experience was Martin's Double E Kennel was extremely professional from start to finish. Thank you Erla and Edwin for helping me find my first dog.
I just got home with my puppy from Martin's Kennel. I have to say this dog is the cutest thing ever. He is so curious and loving. Caused no issues during a 5 hour drive.. He is sleeping quietly in his crate with no issues. I have yet to go to the vet but I hope that is a positive experience as well. The owner is a sweet lady and I would definitely get another dog from them! Update 2022 My dog has been a bundle of joy. My mother even went out of her way to post a review on the page because she loves my dog so much. He is well trained, loves being in his owners company and is very independent when needed. A major couch potato! I highly recommend going here for miniature schnauzers!
Leo is one years old and nine months! He is doing wonderful. No health concerns just barks a lot and loves to be around others. He likes cats and other dogs his size or smaller. He is territorial when it comes to big dogs and unfamiliar people are around. The perfect dog I’d say. We love him very much. He is very intelligent and learns fast. Olive and Leo are my two Scottie’s and I wouldn’t trade them for anything.
We got our Coton/Chon, Cookie, here when she was about 5 months old. She was, and still is perfect and is now 1 1/2. Martins is super clean and all the pups have plenty of room to play. The pups have all their necessary shots and are kept in the best of health. Erla was very kind and accommodating when we picked her up. Cookie and I thank her for bringing us together ❤️
We recently got a sweet shih-tzu named Lacey here whom we renamed Beanie. She is playful with our children and enjoys all the things puppies this age do. Her vet visit went well and we are very happy to have found her at Martin's Kennel. Thank you for helping us bring such sweet joy to our family.
Just got Arthur Monday July 8. His name is now Mac Duff. He is a great puppy. The Kennel is very clean and owner is a wonderful women who loves her dogs. She has been raising Scotties for 30 years. Highly recommend her.
I picked up my baby Shadow the Scottish Terrier (previously known as Johnny) from here in January 2020 and I have had a wonderful time loving him for the past two years! With his 3rd birthday right around the corner I wanted to leave a wonderful review for this amazing breeder!
I got two of the sweetest puppies! So happy to have them join the family. The facility was nice and clean and you can tell they really care about the puppies. Even my vet had nothing but good things to say about them. So glad we picked them.
We got our Scottish Terrier and he,"Cedric" is an excellent pup. He is so smart and accurate to the breed standards. Very grateful to have our new boy. Thanks to Martin's Kennels for their awesome breeding program.
I wish I could give no stars but I took my pooch, Trooper in this place for a four night stay. Originally it was planned for a five night stay but we got back early. First they refused to only let us pay for the days he was there, charged us for the extra day, ok fine I can understand policies. Secondly, they refused any accommodation for his anxiety including the provided and prescribed medication from his vet specifically for his boarding trip, he was also boarded with another family dog who has a comfort pillow that she has had for years and they would not allow her to keep it, as other animals may tear it up. We had reserved their offered VIP suites which should not have had direct access to other animals. Then after I pick him up, I am looking him over to see how they did with the grooming that we had paid extra for. Only to find sores all around his mouth like he got injured and also a badly chipped front tooth during the “grooming”. They provided NO report back about how his visit was other than “no news is good news”. This place is awful and I will never give them another dime or any kind of recommendation. Photos are attached to this review as proof of the injuries. Edit: just found another mark on the top of his snout and added that photo for proof. Something definitely happened while he was there and they did not give us any information about his stay when I asked.
It felt like walking into a spa! The owners are so attentive. Nice move on putting doggy toys and treats at ground level. My dog immediately reached for one of them and claimed it as her own😂 We consider it a memento of the lovely time spent there. Seriously, we love this place and highly recommend it! …
Our girls had a wonderful time in D and J’s care. They also had a spa day and were groomed beautifully. Could not be happier with our experience.
I take my 2 dogs here for grooming and have always been satisfied with the work done. The price is similar to other groomers in the area. The staff is extremely nice, and the building is beautiful and impeccably maintained.
From the moment we walked into the building we were greeted with such a wonderful and professional staff. It was My fur baby mocha’s first time away from home and they really made me feel comfortable with the care that she would receive. The lodge is awesome and I highly recommend it. I am so pleased with everything I have no complaints. I will no be taking her anyplace else. I mean the lodge was clean. I received photo updates. They provided Daycare services and even frosty paws. Listen I’m Totally team D&J. Thank you so much 😘😘🐶
I absolutely LOVE D&J Pet Lodge. They take great care of Quinn in boarding and in doggie daycare. Quinn loves going. He starts to get excited when we get in the road to the lodge. ❤️ It always makes you feel good to know that your pet is well taken care of in your absence.
We've been taking Timber here for over 5 years and trust them 100%. Timber loves staying at D and J's. She loves doggie day care and they have a great staff.
If I could, I’d give them 10 stars. Very professional and very friendly. My dogs have stayed multiple times. The staff is excellent and give our boys the best care while they stay with them. Their vacation spot for our boys is equipped with the best and most comfortable like home feel. Oh yeah, not to mention, their prices are great.
We just picked our dog, Baxter, up from our first boarding experience. I was nervous because Baxter isn’t friendly with strangers. They were absolutely wonderful with him. They were patient, caring and kind. They provided updates that put me at ease. By the end of stay, he was friends with the staff!!! They place was beautiful and the kennels were clean and homey! I highly recommend them and will definitely be using them again!!
Staff are always pleasant & friendly. They go out of their way to learn about each dog & make them feel at home. They care & it shows! The lodge is clean, neat & definitely state of the art. Each of our dogs always look forward to their stay. They are happy & very comfortable with the staff & the accommodations. I trust the staff implicitly with medication administration. Our dogs mean the world to us. They are family. It’s a good feeling to know they are well cared for when we go away. Thank you Dave, Julie & staff - you guys rock!!!
I met Ali through a recommendation from my mother in law since she loved their service. Her and her husband have been respectful and very professional with our fur babies when they do their in home trim visit. She’s also worked with me in terms of appointment times and dates. I’m very grateful for how well they both work with our dogs. So far 5 of our families dogs have had their nails trimmed by them and they loved the experience.
Stella is a golden retriever who was anxious when on walks and would bark and lunge at other dogs. I came across Ali’s petcare service and made an appointment. She met with me and Stella we discussed our goals . We started walking together and she showed me how to handle Stella when other dogs are around and good leash techniques. I learned a lot from Ali and she is very patient and manages dogs well . Stella can now walk past other and dogs and focus on me . If she would react I now know how to handle it . So far the training is a success . I highly recommend Ali’s service for any dog issue , she is very knowledgeable and a delight to work with
Ali is excellent, she has helped Maisy, an 8-month-old pup and I get off to a great start. Ali gave Maisy and I the tools to successfully grow our bond. She is still young, so we have a way to go. I look forward to continuing our relationship and education. Thank you so much for such a positive experience.
Ali is the absolute best. She is so professional and extremely detail oriented. We first used Ali when we went on vacation out of the country for over 2 weeks. Our 2 cats were in such good care. Ali and David took such great care of our 2 cats who were both about a year old and we didn't want to board. One of them required medication at the time, which was not a problem for Ali and David. We plan on using Ali's pet services anytime we are out of town. I recommend her highly!
Ali’s Pawsitive Petcare provides us with the best in home services for our 4 small dogs. All of our dogs have wildly different personalities and quirks. Ali respects their differences. Ali’s the ability to understand and care for both dogs and people in a warm and helpful way is unparalleled. Those abilities combined with her knowledge, skills and professionalism are a rare find these days. I can honestly say that my husband and I 100% recommend Ali and her Petcare services!
Ali is an amazing and devoted pet care service provider. My 20 pound spca rescue has been with me for many years and doesn’t take well to new people. Ali and her fiancé came in with open arms and trimmed his nails. They were patient, kind, and very efficient. They took wonderful care of Ruben. I highly recommend Ali’s Pawsitive Petcare to anyone with a fur baby.
Ali is absolutely the best! Our young dog is not a fan of getting his nails trimmed, and the vet and groomer want him sedated first. Ali has no problem with him, and David always holds him securely so that, before he knows it, his nails are done. I love that she comes to the house, as it is much less stressful than taking him to the vet. Ali is friendly, quick, and a gem to our community. I highly recommend!!
I have been using Ali's services for about a year and a half now, my pug struggled getting his nails trimmed, when I took him to the vet they told me the next time I bring him in for a nail trim they'd have to give him meds to calm down. I was not on board with medicating him, so we gave Ali a try. Let me just say my boy LOVES her. He is calm and lets them do what needs to be done without being medicated and he doesn't throw a fit like he did at the vet..... Plus I love the ease of them coming to my home to take care of him. Hands down the best!! If your fur baby needs a nail trim I highly recommend you use Ali!! You won't regret it.
Ali's in-home nail trimming service is *amazing*. Our sweet Beagle gets stressed on car rides, and this service saved our bacon. So thankful for this business!
I’m so excited to recommend Ali to anyone searching for a dog trainer. I have a 90 pound Bernedoodle that would normally walk loose leash until he saw another dog and morphed into a maniac, jumping and pulling on the leash. Not only was his behavior stressful and embarrassing, but on one occasion he dragged me to the ground resulting in scrapes and bruised ribs. After a complimentary meet and greet and two training lessons with Ali, my dog can now remain calm while passing dogs on leash or barking at him from a yard. He’s not perfect yet and we’ll keep training with Ali, but he’s 80% improved. I’m also very impressed with Ali’s professionalism and her ability to find positive behavior in both my dog’s and my behavior when faced with challenges during our training sessions.
I have nothing but amazing things to say about Hill Crest Canine Country Club! Brittany has trained both of our dogs, we love their store for good dog bones for our fur babies and there is no where else I would trust with my babies when we go out of town! I feel confident leaving them knowing they will still get exercise and love while we are gone. If you are looking for a place to treat your fur babies as their own Hill Crest is the place!
I love this place. I've done puppy classes, got both of my dogs nails clipped, and kenneled here. Brittany is amazing at what she does and a good trainer. She is very knowledgeable about the dogs and make sure they get excellent care. Great facility, staff, and customer service.
Highly recommend for training courses. Brittany helped us train our pup Tuka to be such a good boy.
As a rescue, my Hank has terrible anxiety. If it weren't for Hillcrest Canine Country Club I would never be able to go away. They are absolutely amazing with him and his issues. Knowing that he is so doted on makes my vacations a lot more enjoyable. Thank you Brittney and staff!!
This was the second time we have boarded our dogs at Hill Crest. We have nothing but good things to say about this place. They quickly realized our Huskies weren't super happy by themselves so they put them together. They also realized our older dog was mostly blind. They were worried she'd get outside and not find her way back in and it was too hot for her outside so they shut the run door and kept her in the air conditioning. It is wonderful to be able to go away and not worry about the dogs because we know they are in the most capable and caring hands at Hill Crest.
Been taking my golden retrievers to Hillcrest Canine Country Club for 12 years now, and I can't think of going anywhere else. Great facility, dedicated staff, and happy four-legged customers!
We had a mix up with pickup times requiring an extra day but Raven our German Shepherd Dog seemed to have a good time. We have boarded her other places that she doesn't care for. The staff wasn't intimidated by our vocal girl and she seemed warm up to them quickly. We already have our summer vacation time booked.
Molly does so well with my dogs' nails!
Love this place. They treat your dogs like royalty.
Hill Crest is top notch, great staff, you can take comfort that your fur babies are well taken care of! Very professional, great location!
Amazing kennel. The office area is welcoming with a display case of baked goods just for the pets! The staff was wonderful. Beautiful grounds everywhere you look!
I have taken my two dogs to Miller's Boarding for many years. They have always received outstanding care. The owner, Roxanne, is absolutely wonderful and recently accommodated my pets at very short notice. My mind is always at ease when my pets are at Miller's because it is a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
Been a customer for years! Roxanne’s Kennel is the only place my family trusts for our dog’s and cat’s care when we need to board. She provides a clean and safe environment for our pets!
Picked up my dog after a week while on vacation. She smelled terrible, had fleas from snout to tail, and the owner shaved her butt because she had an “accident.” Never once have we needed to clean her butt, not once. So disappointed.
We have used Miller’s Boarding Kennel as our dogs’ home-away-from-home for 10+ years. Our dogs have always been happy to go, and clean and happy when we pick them up. Roxanne is great. I am happy to recommend her business.
So appreciative to have this boarding kennel! Our dog is 1/2 husky and 1/2 coonhound so he is loud and rambunctious. I was always nervous of leaving him in the care of someone else because he can be a lot but she made traveling so much easier. She calls him her loud boy and is so kind and loving. 10/10 recommend!
My dog enjoys going to Roxanne. He always seems happy to go there and she takes good care of him. He gets to socialize with other dogs which is nice. I would highly recommend her for boarding.
My 6-pound long-coat chihuahua, Emma, was about 11 years old when she began staying with Roxanne. She had never boarded anywhere before but seemed content to stay there when I was gone, once or twice for almost a week. I felt very confident that she would be well cared for and I didn't have to worry as she would always stay in the small room with other small dogs. I was very, very picky about leaving her with anyone but after the first time or two, I knew she would be ok. Emma died suddenly in my arms about 14 months ago and I still grieve for her . I have another long-coat now, Hilda, who will be one year old tomorrow and I know one day she also will stay with Roxanne.
The only kennel we will allow Ridley to stay, Roxanne has our complete trust with the care of our boy, even though she nicknames him the wildman.
Our pups love Mrs. Miller! Such a blessing to have such a great place to leave our 4 legged family members for short stays!
I no longer feel bad about leaving my dogs when I go to work because I know Miss Sue will take good care of them. They love going to camp and playing with other dogs
Miss Sue has been taking care of my dogs since they were brand new babies. They love her dearly, and are always so happy to go see her! I absolutely trust her with their care!
We have boarded our King Charles Cavalier spaniel here multiple times per year for several years. They are remarkably caring for each dog, and note the details owners often get carried away asking. They worry even to making a special meal if the dog won't eat because of the strange surroundings. For group play, which our Lulu never otherwise gets to do, they match size and personality. The daily photos (time-consuming for them, but wonderful for the lonely owners) show the energy (unusual for our 'couch-potato' Cav.) and pleasure for them to play and chase together. Their compassion and concern are unusual even in a profession that demands it.
Sue does an amazing job taking care of my dogs. They love it. I won’t take them anywhere else.
A great place to keep your beloved pets while you are away. Scott and Sue are wonderful people.
Never used kennel but our dogs groomer (Mindy Harp) works there.
Great place to be a dog. Caring staff and great facilities.
Have taken our pets here for over 25 years
Friendly.
Kathy is the absolute best!!! She takes such good care of my little Sophia. I never have to worry when we go away because I know Kathy will make sure she is having the best time ever. Thank you Kathy for treating our Sophia as your own!
Kathy is an exceptional dog/home sitter and I cannot say enough about her love for animals! She is very attentive and kept us updated with both videos and pictures the entire time we were away. There are few people I would trust with my fur baby. It’s so nice being able to go away and know our girl is taken care of, our plants are watered and our home is in good hands. She is amazing!
Kathy is amazing with my dog!! She cares for him as a child. She is smart, knowledgeable and reliable. I would want no one but her caring for my pup when I am away. Hands down a blessing to my family❤️
Kathy has watched my dog for years, and is always fantastic! I couldn’t think of anyone more kind and caring. I have absolutely 100% trust and feel so relaxed knowing she is there for my pup! Couldn’t recommend her more!!!
My FiFi is usually shaking all over the place and at the first opportunity runs to her bed to hide but when she sees Kathy, she can't get enough attention. I've known Kathy for so many years I can't count and have never had qualms about leaving her alone in my home or her having a key. She has always been friendly & loving to all of my dogs in those many years and I would trust her with their lives. Her own dogs were always friendly and well behaved.
Kathy watched my cat for a week when I was on vacation with my family. I was so nervous to leave my cat because it would be the first time I had been away from her for more than one night, but I knew that she was in good hands with Kathy. Kathy is so kind and caring and took the best care of my baby! Highly recommend!!!
Kathy is a lifelong dear friend and avid animal lover. She has stayed in my home to watch our cat while we were away and is extremely responsible, reliable and flexible. She’ll even take care of your plants! I can’t recommend her enough.
Best dog sitter ever! Kathy has watched our dogs numerous times and they are always well behaved after staying with her. She truly loves animals and they love her. ❤️
Kathy has been watching our dogs in our home for a few years now, and has become a dear and trusted friend. The dogs love her, and so do we. She is highly recommended!
I've known Kathy for years. She had numerous animals over the years and has taken care of them very well. She is a total animal lover and will take care of your pet the way that you would take care of them yourself! I highly recommend Kathy for any of your animal needs for pet sitting.
We boarded Buddy for the first time for three days at Paws Inn and had him groomed as well. The price was reasonable for both services. The groomer (Lorie Steele) was wonderful and did exactly as we had suggested. He will go back again for sure. She was careful with his nails and a toy poodle needs special facial and eye care. His weepy eyes were also cleaned. As to the kennel service we were concerned since Buddy had never been away from us and is 4 years old. The girls were very caring and he ate his food and they said everyone fell in love with him. He got plenty of exercise and they even washed his blanket before he went home while being groomed. I highly recommend PAWS INN for both boarding and grooming! ***** Joyce and Bill Kadryna
Fantastic for boarding - my greyhound is a boney dog (common for this breed) and they go the extra mile to ensure he has padding. I requested the same service at Sunbury Animal Hospital which they neglected to do, causing open wounds on all of his pressure points, and lied when asked about his quality of care. For that reason, I highly recommend Paws Inn over Sunbury Animal Hospital. Paws Inn was also able to take my dog in for several days of boarding last minute when I found out I was in labor a week early. What a life saver! Note that they are closed on Sundays and charge $40 for a Sunday pick-up, so it's actually cheaper to board until Monday for ~$20ish extra.
We love Paws Inn. We have taken in my parents-in-law's elderly teacup poodle (15 yrs. old) who is very anxious and shy around new people, but the groomers here say that she is an "angel." When they bring her out to me, she looks back affectionately at the groomers, and she eagerly walks in when she realizes that we have arrived, so I know that they know how to handle her. 😍
Barney loves coming to Paws Inn. He loves Mark and Bonnie. He is very clean and smells wonderful. Mark always cleans his ears, trims his nails and treats him gently. The drying facilities are excellent. He can be walked and fed while he is there. It is exceptionally clean a building. They have health standards and check the pets for fleas so I know he won't pick up anything while he is there. If you want, you can bring your own food and their exercise yard is huge. I like that it is attached to a veterinary hospital in case of an emergency.
Just picked up my precious Maya. She is a big girl who is a BIG baby. As always, the service and care we receive here is outstanding. The staff will go out of there way to be sure this is a positive experience for both pet and owner. Special thank you to Lori and to Brooke who helped me thru difficult scheduling issues. You are the best. Will NEVER leave Maya anywhere else. THANK YOU
Very friendly and caring staff, great job on grooming our pet have been going there for years.
VERY NICE Lady(I forgot her name😔, Long dark wavy curly hair in a ponytail), in Inn, waited on me for dog licenses,, and even didn't mind getting me cans of special food for my stomach sensitive doggy, that was in diff part of CHosp. Also, a very kind redheaded young girl was super nice, n askd if she could help me with my bags to the car !! Thank you, Companion!!
My visit was very pleasant. The girl at the front desk was very nice and helpful. I was only purchasing a tag for my dog so that's as far as I got. I haven't had any other experiences with them.
Excellent! Highly recommended. Easy in-and-out. Personalized care. Kind and courteous staff. Peace of mind with great vet right next door. A+
Love it here.. they do everything to help u if u dont have alot of money.. my dog had her teeth pulled and she recovered quickly.. shes never been happier!!
We were very pleased with new owner and staff. Recently boarded our golden retriever pup who is quite a lot. Although, we did use this facility in the past with previous owner, and we never had any issues. When we arrived for pickup, we saw Bella outside sniffing around, very content. Very detailed feedback from staff and owner concerning her stay. Was happy with detailed expenses, and walkin nail care. We have recommended them to family pet owners and will definitely use their services again. Happy they are close to our home.
I've boarded my three dogs here several times and never had a problem. Previous owner alerted me to a potential health issue with one of our dogs that she discovered while grooming and she turned out to be correct, so we were able to get it taken care of. Current owner is very kind and puts up with my daily phone calls to check on my babies while they're in her care. Of course these services are not inexpensive. Name me one thing worth having that isn't expensive these days. Animal care is hard work and these folks do it with kindness.
I boarded my 2 huskies here. It’s very expensive, and I was quoted the wrong price over the phone. The person failed to mention that if I pick up after noon I’ll get charged for 2 days instead of one, and quoted me the price of a single day. Thankfully the owner cut the price in half for me when I told her that though. The dogs don’t get walked unless you pay extra for it, same with the fenced in play time. I also was charged $2 extra each time they had to give my dogs meds. Really? Which of course I wasn’t informed of this either. I actually sent them detailed instructions over email of my dogs medicine schedule (which isn’t difficult to begin with) but when we got there the person at the counter asked me to walk her through it again and asked me the same questions over and over, not seeming to understand. I told her several times that’s why I sent the email and they didn’t even bother looking for it. The drop off took a lot longer than it needed to. The $1.50 additional dog discount is laughable. Without the owner honoring my quoted price, the charge would’ve been almost $200 for 2 days and 2 dogs. I paid for 2 playtimes and 1 cuddle time. They really need to put prices on their website. The building was also extremely loud with the barking and radio blaring. The building should be more spread out for that amount of noise or at least better sound proofing. Didn’t seem like a good environment, but then again I never saw the kennels and they don’t have pictures posted. Likely because they don’t want the owners to see them. The owner was very nice but that’s about the only positive. I won’t be taking my dogs here again.
My family and I have been boarding our animals here for years. Recently we found out there is a new owner. We started just bringing our dog in for the day while we go to appointments. I have to say my dogs reaction is different than it was before in all the good ways. I have a much warmer feeling leaving her behind for a bit. Place is looking great and my wife and I's Mazie loves it there.
I was able to get in on such short notice and I absolutely loved the services provided to my Cockapoo! I attached before and after pictures! By far the best cut Joon has ever gotten!
Warning: do not board your dog here if they have an Elongated soft palate or you may have emergency vet bills to pay. I’ve been hesitant to write anything about this place as it’s been a few years but it’s better to warn others so the same doesn’t happen. We boarded our dog who was only A year old at the time our dog is a purebred English bulldog and he was there for approximately five days. In those five days, we never got a phone call with any concern whatsoever. my childhood dog here got groomed here so I didn’t think that this was a bad place. I came to pick my dog up on a Sunday at 5 PM. It was also my birthday. When I came to get him, he was barely able to walk barely able to breathe and wheezing like I’ve never seen before, the person who brought him out was not concerned in the slightest and just said “he’s been been doing this the whole time he’s been here” like I said we haven’t heard one thing from the border. I took him to the car as he could barely walk. His fur was in clumps on his body. He was wet. He was slobbering everywhere once I got him in my car got the AC on him and he started vomiting all over. I immediately called the emergency vet and of course someone there Swiped me off and said to go to Sunbury. I ended up calling my husband in a panic and he said turn around and go to Watsontown. “He’s not gonna make it if you drive any further”, long story short if we would’ve taken him to the sunbury hospital he would’ve died within 30 minutes because his pallet was completely closed. He was unable to breathe at all. This cost me an additional $800 on top of the boarding fees which I did pay extra for extra attention for him. I was young and I was too scared to reach out during that time, but I would never want anyone to go through what I went through to almost lose your dog, who was like your child. I really never want to pull down a business, but if you cannot take care of dogs that have breathing complications to begin with then just say so.
I would never board our Lucy anywhere else!! They have such a caring staff. We love the way they spoil her and give her lots of love and attention. Many times we have her groomed before we pick her up and she's never looked better! The "shed-less" treatment with the furminator is awesome! No hair to vacuum for months! I highly recommend Warrior Run Petcare Center!!
Convenient hours. Very friendly staff. Always helpful and willing to accommodate the needs of my pets, as well as myself. There are many options available for activities and treats to spoil my pets while they are boarding or being groomed, and they always return to me happy! The place is very well cleaned and organized inside and out. Wide variety and very nice selection of retail. I highly recommend Warrior Run Petcare for all of your boarding, grooming, or pet supply needs!
The Warrior Run Petcare Center is truly a premier boarding experience for all of its canine and feline guests! Each member of the staff has the animals' health and happiness as their number one priority. The facility is so clean. Animals are checked constantly to make sure that their runs and cages are clean and comfortable. Homemade healthy treats are given to the "guests, "and playtime is filled with animals receiving huge amounts of attention and fun exercise. If you have any reservations about boarding your animal when you are away, please put them aside and visit Warrior Run. It is absolutely as close to a spa as my pets will ever get. Kelly King
I was hesitant to write this review at first but felt others should be aware what the kennels are like past the front counter. We have been using this kennel for several years and never went to the back when dropping off or picking up. Over 4th of July we dropped our dog off for an overnight but when I got there I was told that I wouldnt be able to pick her up the next day due to no personnel working the counter so an overnight turned into 2 nights. When I went in to pick her up after 2 days I was told to follow the employee to the back to get my dog. My dog is 10 years old and 90 lbs. I saw where she had been sleeping and was sick to my stomach that she had to endure those conditions. The cell that she was being kept in was way to small and the bed (if you want to call it that) was so small that im sure she had slept on the hard cement floor the whole time and that is if she got any sleep at all because with the radio blaring and dogs barking im sure she didnt sleep. I also noticed her limping when I got her home which was probably caused by laying on that concrete floor. I will not use this kennels services again.
Kind people but our dog came home with a bunch of welts on his stomach and very raw/red elbows. He's also been acting very timid and he lost his voice. We've taken him to boarding Kennels before but this time was different. He's been licking his paws and excessively drooling ever since he came home. The backpack I packed his treats, toys, and blanket in also came back ripped in places. I'm glad they took him with only a weeks notice, but wish he came back the way we left him.
We took our 2 dogs there for a week!! The first time I've ever boarded them. They were well taken care of, but glad to be home!!! They are very reasonably priced.
Luke also builds really nice tree stands, I would definitely recommend checking them out
This is the only place I will board my dogs. I trust them. The place is clean and well maintained. My dogs are always happy when I pick them up.
We love the Horning Family!! They run a excellent boarding kennel. Very wonderful people!!
We have used this Kennel several times for our large breed dog. She comes home happy and relaxed.
Love this place...the owners are like family to us. They truly love your pets like their own.
LOVE this family!! Took such great care of my babies!
Nice, friendly owners...feel very comfortable leaving our dog there 👍 …
1st time I've ever used a kennel. I was very pleased at how the kennel looked. It was clean, and staff was friendly. Our dog stayed 3 days. Was happy to see me. Her toy we packed wasn't in her backpack but it was old. She seemed fine just happy to see us. I would have liked a tour of the facility prior to our appointment. Overall I'd recommend a stay.
First time using kennel services and everything was easy, had no worries, pricing was reasonable, and they were very professional. Will be using in future for vacation times away. Maggie was happy! Two paws up
Dropped my dog off for the day care. The place is nicely set up with equipment. The staff is very nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend and we will be going back.
The whole staff is wonderful! We have done grooming and boarding both wonderful and would recommend!! 1st time boarding ever, the kennel was so clean and welcoming.
This was our first time boarding our dog at a kennel and it couldn’t have been an easier process! They were very kind and took great care of our little Guapa while we were away! ♥️
Absolutely outstanding with my dogs. Love this place. We had a dog that was mean in her old age and the luxemburg crew got along with her. My dogs love it .
The wife and I wanted to actually go away on vacation this year so we needed a happy place for our pups.. Luxemburg seemed to be a good fit.. the Staff was always quick to respond to any questions I've sent via e-mail and sent me the answers I needed.. they offer different packages for you fur baby's stay.. which is pretty nice.. also grooming services. Even if you just need a day away they can help. I'm sure we'll be bringing our dogs back to this facility next time we need to be away from home for an extended amount of time..😁.. after picking them up i believe everyone was happy to be home.
So many kennels do not provide accommodations for cats, but Luxemburg Pet Resort is different. They have a nice large room with toys, cat tree and a window. We were very pleased with the care and attention our cat was given, plus the staff was nice. We will definitely go back when traveling out of town.
The one place we can trust that our dog is safe and happy. We tried another kennel to have a backup for emergencies and it was horrible. Our dog was not watched and we had a very expensive vet bill. Luxemburg responds timely, gives us updates when we’re away and does everything they can for a happy stay. 100% recommend.
They were fantastic! My min pin is diabetic, requiring insulin shots and is about 90% blind and they had no problems taking her, while multiple other kennels wouldn't. We drove almost an hour from home to their location and will definitely go back! They accepted all my crazy dog mom requests of wanting her to have her bed, blankets and toys. They gave her a bath, trimmed her nails and sent her home with a pretty bandana! Plus, they were overly accommodating with pickup procedure as my flight home got canceled and we scrambled to make other arrangements! It was a clean space and their outdoor area looked like doggy heaven!
