Young was the perfect house sitter for us. From the moment you meet her, you can tell she is animal person and is detailed oriented and will take great care of your house and pets. She exudes a peaceful and grounded energy. She was comfortable with each our pets from the high energy dog to the shy skittish cat. She played with the dog in the yard every day and took him on walks. And she was also very attentive to our cats and figured out how to maintain the equilibrium in the relationship between the cats and dog. She is an excellent communicator; she asked questions when our directions weren't clear and kept us updated on the pets. She is also an amazing photographer. She sent us pics of our pets every day that totally captured each of their personalities.

We are thoroughly pleased with and impressed by Daniel's kind, generous, and careful care of our cat and our house. He is a committed and experienced sitter who completely understands his role and responsibilities and also how to gently win the confidence and affection of a pet. He is an excellent communicator, and he kept us regularly up to date on our cat's well being--sending us texts and photos at least once/week as we requested. Our cat who is a little afraid of new people, grew fond of him, and we have returned to a very calm, contented cat. We were so pleased to meet John and Trisha! We had them come in a day before we left and enjoyed a nice meal with them and they got to meet Delilah (even if she didn’t seem interested) but she soon warmed up to them - except for the Cat Videos - she wasn’t very interested 🤣 When we returned our home was so clean (probably cleaner than we left it)! We got frequent pics and updates on our Princess! They also left us with a Progress Report with Delilah’s activities and what they did at the house before they left. Florence is everything you want in a cat sitter! We have two cats that need a lot of human attention. One takes multiple medications twice a day and they both are used to eating on their own schedule and having people around so it is always very important to us to find a pet sitter that will be spending a lot of time in the apartment and that doesn't mind being very attentive. We were able to meet Florence before our trip and felt 100% confident that she would take great care of our cats. Florence is comfortable giving medication, she sent us photos and updates and left our apartment spotless. We were so happy that we had her come back the following week when we went away again for a short trip! We will definitely contact Florence again whenever we travel and hope that she is available!

If Macie and Roman ever apply to your post for a house or pet sit, I strongly encourage you to jump at the. offer. You will not be disappointed. They are among the top (if not the top) sitter I've ever had and I've been on this site for years. Primarily, they are very organized. In the weeks and days leading up to the sit, Macie and Roman kept me abreast of their plans and status. I felt very comfortable in the days leading up to the sit because I knew the plan we made to exchange the keys and walk them through the instructions would work as planned. Second, Macie and Roman really care. When they got to my apartment after a very long morning of traveling, I explained the care instructions and they were very attentive and cared about the details - asking very specific questions on how to care for my cat and apartment. I had some pretty specific rules about how to feed my cat and take care of him and Macie and Roman followed those exactly. Third, Macie and Roman make you feel comfortable while you are away. I got daily or twice daily updates about my cat. I got pictures which made me feel like my cat was having a good time. My cat came out of hiding very quickly and was snuggling with them and letting them hold him. It was so nice to see the pictures of them all bonding! Macie and Roman have a calming energy towards animals for sure! Macie and Roman were also very responsive when I reached out first - replying within 30 minutes. I really appreciated that. Fourth, Roman and Macie will take good care of your apartment/house. I came back to a SPOTLESS apartment. The towels were washed. The apartment had been vacuumed. The kitchen was clean. The dishwasher had been run. Everything was in its place when I returned. Honestly, cleaner than when I left it which is difficult since I am a very clean person. Macie and Roman also respects your property. We had a room we asked them not to enter and they respected that. In short, Macie and Roman are amazing. I would have them back in a heartbeat. Pennee and Bill were the BEST pet sitters and guests ever! I really wanted them to stay forever ! Our cat, Miss Kitty bonded so much to them, that she really wasn’t that happy to see me when I got home .Our cat is a finicky eater and they tried all different types of food and treats for her. They sent me regular photos of miss kitty and I knew everything was great when most of the pics had miss kitty on their lap. Our cat doesn’t take to many people but she immediately fell in love with them. Pennee sent us our mail and prescription meds on a regular basis , and went out of her way to take care of any issues . They fell in love with the neighbors and community and just made our lives so easy . We experienced the Covid 19 virus outbreak quarantine during this time and Pennee and Bill agreed to stay a month longer at our home . They were extremely flexible with their travel plans so that everyone would be safe. Upon our arrival home, we were greeted with a bouquet of flowers , beautiful hanging basket of flowers for outdoors and a beautiful bottle of wine . And our house had never been cleaner ! Bill and Pennee are a pet owners dream couple !I felt extremely lucky to have found such a great petsitter and new friend . We will be visiting each other in the future .

I whole-heartedly recommend Carly and her partner Fanny to sit for you! They were fabulous and reliable house sitters from start to finish. Carly was timely and thoughtful in all of her communications and let us know the state of affairs in our apartment with our cat and plant babies while we were away. They followed our directions to a 'T.' We came home to find a happy cat, thriving plants, a spotless apartment and laundered linens. Do not take your dog here to be boarded. I left my dog with them for two weeks last summer. When I came to pick my dog up she was covered in feces also the bedding I left for her was completely covered in urine and feces stains. She also had terrible diarrhea after her stay. Then they had the audacity to spray her with perfume before bringing her out to me when I picked her up…hmm it’s almost like they felt guilty about something? I can’t imagine what kind of conditions they had her in for where she sleeps to just be covered in urine and feces which I know she would NOT do if she couldn’t help it! I feel sooo guilty for leaving her with these people for those two weeks that we were out of town.. This place needs to be shut down!!
It's like taking your animals to a trusted family member. I'm, like most animal lovers, scared to leave my animals with anyone. But Ashley had taken great care of my dogs and had given me great updates each time I called. Her grooming is great, my dog had hated getting a hair cut but she took the time to understand and get to know my dog, now he will sit through the hair cut and loves seeing her. She treats each animal with love and respect and will be the only groomer I let touch my babies.
Ashley has been seeing my dogs for years. She cares about our baby more then just grooming. When my oldest dog passed away not long ago she made a picture for us with his name and framed it for us. She is the nicest lady and always does a great job.
I have baby girl Prissy!!! (She isn’t a baby at 14 but she is my baby) I have never left her at a boarding place before.. she would face time me and send me pic, just to put me at ease. Ashley’s daughter love that my girl loves her purse, she would pack her around and, Prissy loved it. My sister also used Ashley’s boarding for her 2 bulldogs and my brothers German Shepard’s . Ashly even was my baby grooming. When you meet Ashley she will make you fur baby is just like one of hers. You won’t be disappointed .
I recently boarded my maltese puppy at Ashley's. They treated him like he was their own puppy. He had playtime with other puppies and Ashley, which he really loved. They bathed him before I picked him up and did a great job. I will definitely continue to use their services and highly recommend them to anyone that needs their fur babies cared for or groomed.
I can't say enough good things about Ashley! Her grooming skills are amazing, her love and care for the animals is unlike anything I've seen from another groomer, and her willingness to work with people who are in a rough spot is unmatched. She got my dog to calmly get his nails trimmed. He used to have to be muzzled and held by me while the groomer wrestled with him. My dogs didn't mind going to see her, and I know it's because they knew she loved and cared for them. They're not just clients to her.
I do appreciate them not wanting to cause more trama to my baby, but as a place that advertises grooming, they were not able to preform this service. They did bathe my baby, but gave him back still wet. They did not brush him out, to a point that my car and myself are covered in hair. I was very hopeful as we just moved to the area and we have never had trouble getting our baby groomed before, groomers love him, but I am very disappointed.
Ashley and her sister Amanda where so sweet with our husky. We originally thought we would shave our husky because his hair was so thick, we thought he would be too hot. They both where wonderful at explaining it wasn't a great idea because double coated breeds shouldn't be shaved, me and my husband had no idea.now we will only be doing the de-shedding treatments they offer. They did a good job on our sweet boy he looks great and was so happy.
Ashley is great with my pup's, she is the only groomer my baby's will let groom them. My Chihuahua is very nervous around new people and my 2 year old pup came from her and she will only go to Ashley no matter what because she so good with both of them when they are nervous, so it's great that she has the ability to make pups feel so comfortable and safe. This was our first time there and she went above and beyond for my Mac 🐶. Very caring and patient. We have had horrible experiences with other groomers so I was a little concerned but she eased all my worries and explained her process step by step to me which was such a plus. I am definitely taking my pup back and I highly recommend Ashley!!!!

This place and the owner was such a blessing to my family. We were evacuated from Ruidoso because of the fires and she took our 4 animals in at midnight. She said she didn’t usually take cats but she would figure it out. She took very good care of all of them and even sent us pictures. After 7 days we were allowed to go home. She would not take a dime from us and even gave us some extra dog food because our dog was stressed and was not eating his normal food. I can’t stress enough how much she helped us in a very difficult time. Highly recommend!!
I love leaving my dog with them when I’m traveling. They take great care of him and get him scheduled in for a stay super quick. Even when my dog see’s I’m packing his food he knows where he’s going and gets super excited 10/10

They took care of my sweet FurBabies(Chihuahua 2.5 and Dalmatian 18 months) for 10 day while we went on vacation. They sent me pictures and messaged how my girls stay was going. All the ladies I chatted with while booking , text, dropping off and picking up my girls were very sweet. The day I went in to book I was able to see where my girls will be staying they answered all my questions I had. Over all pleased with my girls stay. Would recommend for your FurBabies.
I want to thank ya'll for making a gloomy day bright with coming to the off-hours rune up of Oreo. The poor little fella was abandoned several months ago and was never cared for before that. Multiple groomers failed to even try to remediate his terrible matting, and now the scruffy scrapper is a distinguished gentleman. His big pal Whiskey Wiggles is adapting to gentler wrestling with Oreo's fluffy armor gone missing. A big day for the little guy.
We were on a road trip with our camper when we learned Carlsbad was going to be extraordinarily hot. We contacted Bark N Buds and they were able to take our dogs with very little notice. We’re from Canada, so our vaccine records were different, but Destiny took the time to message back and forth until our vaccine records were approved. I appreciated this because it showed that they take the vaccine requirements seriously. The dogs spent three days in boarding and were happy and relaxed when we picked them up. At all times during the three days Destiny was in contact with us. Finding the kennels is a bit tricky as their facility is set back quite a bit from the road. Watch carefully for their sign.
Very impressed with the owner of this business! She stood by her business and did right by her customer. We had a one-night stay here for our dog. Initial interactions with staff were mostly good as we worked thru the vaccination details, etc. We were staying in Carlsbad for one night to see the nearby national parks, so this was a very reasonable option for the overnight -- only 5-7 minutes from the main hotel area. Location was a little tricky to find. Google maps navigates you to the back side of the property, which is not the right place to be, so you are better off just using the street name and searching for the address, as the location has limited signage. But the entrance is on Center Avenue. Drop off and pick up were otherwise seamless and relatively quick. Thank you!
I would not take my dogs anywhere else bark n buddies is such a great place. The owner is seriously the best she will seriously go out her own way just to make sure her clients are happy and healthy.. the employees also take pictures upon request which is really nice as well. Definitely highly recommend.
I hate boarding my dog, but needed somewhere for her to stay for a couple of days while we were in town. I could tell she was so well taken care of! There were crazy winds all day that were scary to my pup so they brought her up to a quieter room. I don’t live here so likely won’t be a repeat customer, but I would highly recommend them!
We’ve used them several times for short trips. Rates are reasonable. Staff seems to care for the animals and are all very friendly. They cannot print out an itemized receipt, if you need one. Kennels seem to be smaller than one would hope for, and definitely smaller than other places I’ve used. No live feed video to check on your pets while they are boarded.
Leaving my two dogs was there hardest thing I have ever had to do. I had never left them in someone else’s care. My family had used Bark N Buds and recommended said they were so great with their dogs. From the moment I left my girls till I picked them up I could feel they were in a safe, loving environment. These ladies kept in contact with me more then once a day. Calling,texting sending pics of my babies. It helped me so much knowing they were in good hands. I a 1000 % recommend Bark N Buds . I love them! I have a dog in service dog training and ask them to work with her and they did great with her! I also ask for updates and pictures like all the time and they accommodated me perfectly. I hope I never have to spend a day without her but if I do I am defintly taking her back here! I also asked them to wash and brush her and she was as soft as I have ever felt her! 😍
Very good customer service!! We were passing through Carlsbad to explore the caverns and needed a place to keep my dog cool from the heat. The owner and staff were very kind and accommodating. My dog has heart issues and they kept her cool and safe - as well as gave me peace of mind. Thanks for taking such good care of Lou!

We took my 130 pound Great Pyrenees to Kim yesterday. This was the BEST haircut he has ever had!! I got to the shop while he was still on the grooming table - I saw him and hid behind the door so he wouldn’t see me. The groomer cutting him was talking to him and he was so calm compared to other experiences. I can’t say enough about how happy we are with Kim’s! ❤️

I couldn't as for a more wonderful person to take care of my yorkie babies!! They couldn't be more different in personality and Kim is very in tune with this. Kim is patient, kind and loving with all animals. I wouldn't trust anyone else with Bowie or George Harrison. Her grooming/boarding facility is always clean. I'm very particular about who takes care of my babies. I trust Kim implicitly.
I left my babies with kim for the weekend my little schnauzers where completely matted and really smelly when we picked them up we didn't have a good feeling about this place but my regular place (fuzzy critters) owner when out of town and I needed to border them. Place was dirty as soon as you came in to the house it had really bad smell
I was really scared to try a new place ... but she did an amazing job and my furrbaby wasn’t weird when I picked her up! She looks and smells amazing! Will be returning!

My dog loves when Bailey comes to visit because she spends time with him. She is not just a person who comes to feed the dog. She plays with him, lets him, and treats him as her own. Bailey has been absolutely amazing! With my busy work schedule it is hard to get home early at times to check on the dogs. Having her around has made my days way less stressful. They came to my house to trim my dog’s nails. I have 3 they were so good with all 3. I have a 16 year old German shepherd that does not like her nails trimmed, but she talked to her and calmed her the whole time. My male is not a people person and she was able to trim his also. I have recommended K9CareLBK to several people. You can tell from the time they get there how much the care about your animals just like they were theirs.

Besides feeding and giving the medications, She walks the dogs, cleans kitty boxes, cleans the pond filters, collects mail, and takes care of plants (indoor and outdoor) . Amy is the best. I have never boarded one of my pups before, so I was hesitant to board my Millie girl at a place like Wagbnb or an animal hotel because I have heard most of the time they will be locked in their crate/room. I paid the extra money for Amy’s service, and was so grateful I did. Millie was loved on from the time we dropped her off to the time we picked her up. She came home with the biggest smile and had the best time playing and running around. We will definitely be leaving our pup(s) with Amy when we leave town in the future! Amy is the best - she loves on my sweet pups like they’re her own. She sends all the sweet updates, has themed “pawrties” for them and is super reliable. Her being able to pick them up and drop them off at my house makes it even more convenient for me. And the added bonus is that my dogs aren’t stressed whenever I come back home! Thank you Amy for continually loving on them!
Amy takes great care of our fur babies when we are away. They love her! The best part is the dogs get to be home with some love and attention. Amy always communicates about any questions or concerns that arise, and we get frequent updates on how the dogs are doing during their staycation. My husband and I went out of town for a 10 day cruise. Amanda at Pet Palace was amazing. She gave me updates at each port and she post videos of all the dogs so you can see how well your dog is adjusting. My pug Monster always seemed to be having so much fun in the videos. I highly recommend Pet Palace if you're looking for a friendly and reliable place to board you dog.
Called Amanda week before we went on a little mini vacation and she was very accommodating with meeting Roxi on short notice! Roxi started the tail wagging when we dropped her off so I know she was excited. Would highly recommend Amanda and Pet Palace!!

I boarded my three boys at Pet Palace for the first time and they did wonderful! I expressed my worries to Amanda and she took them into consideration and updated me periodically to settle my nerves. Amanda was super nice. I called her the morning I left for a trip and she still took my babies for the weekend. She made sure my pups had their beds and were comfortable. Her rates are really affordable too. My pups really enjoyed their time with her and the other dogs. I loved that she posts videos of the pups on her TikTok and instagram! I will definitely call her again to watch my pups!:)

Had snarky comments because I wanted certain things for my dog and had questions about the contract and she canceled on me last minute because I said maybe we got off on the wrong foot completely unprofessional for someone that runs a business and I expect a comment back from her gaslighting me. (Response back to her)- If you handled your self like a professional you would not getting a 1 starr and yes I did have plans for him but the place he was gonna be staying changed last minute and I had questions about the contract you chose to send me the contract and I went over it and wanted to make sure 7 days is a long time, sorry you have to be petty that is not my problem after I said we got off on the wrong foot you chose to block me but you wanna make me the bad guy ?
Amanda took our two babies for six days.. We've never had our puppies boarded before and wasn't sure howd they'd do but she did great with them and sent pics and videos tbe whole time so we could see how they were doing.. Would highly recommend and will be using her again in the future..
Amanda cared for our two adult border collies and a super-hyper mini Aussie puppy, in our home, while we were on vacation. She was very responsible and did everything we agreed to before hand. It is obvious she loves dogs, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the job she did. Her pricing is reasonable, and I recommend her without hesitation.
