Caring, Loving Travel Couple
Caitlin and Lawrence were great! They were able to come over the day before we left and we had dinner together and we were able to get to know them even more and show them everything they needed to know about Clara and our home. They sent us lovely pictures of Clara enjoying her time while we were away. When we got back the house was super clean and they left us a nice plant to start our garden with this summer. We would definitely have them in our home again.

Loving Mother + Daughter
Elizabeth and Norea arrived the night before we left on our trip and I knew immediately that they were a perfect fit for sitting at our rural, alternative home. We have 2 old indoor cats, Bert and Benny, an older dog, Abby, our wild child dog, Rosita, 3 aging hens and an aquarium. Norea fell in love with the cats and looked after cleaning the litter box daily, making sure that Benny had his meds each morning and insured that both cats received a surplus of love and attention. Abby, our older dog is a sweetheart and is easy to love. Rosita is also a sweet girl, but has enough energy for 5 dogs. She can be a challenge, but Elizabeth handled her with patience and consistency. I think Elizabeth's morning walks around the property with the dogs were a highlight. The chickens and fish had no complaints about their care. We cleaned our house before Elizabeth and Norea arrived, and it looked better when we returned from our trip, tidy and spotless. Elizabeth and Norea, a mom and daughter team, are caring, gentle, and trustworthy. I'm privileged to have met them and hope that they can return to watch our home.

Loving pet sitter and reliable house sitter!
Kinsey stayed with our 2 cats and home for almost a month. She is an excellent communicator and checked in with us before our trip about how often we wanted updates about our cats and our home. Within a day of departure, we received pictures of our cats warming up to her :) Kinsey is organized, responsible and very clean. She is so thoughtful too! We arrived home to a lovely note and some very sweet homecoming goodies. Most importantly, our apartment was clean and our cats were happy and well cared for. I highly recommend Kinsey for your next housesit! She is awesome!

Experienced, confident, and caring animal lover ❤️
Carrie was simply lovely! Both dogs obviously adored her right from the start and they were so relaxed and happy when we returned. We were only sad that Carrie was booked for just a weekend as she was a wonderful house sitter. Our house looked immaculate and the dogs had been taken for lovely walks, even though the weather had been atrocious. We really enjoyed meeting her and hope when she is next in the UK she will come and see us. We could not recommend Carrie more highly to look after your animals and house.

House proud, reliable, animal loving couple both in our 30s.
Lacey and Jay were such an amazing house sitters and pet care takers to my 10 year old cat, Bane. I cannot recommend them enough for future house-sits, they were supremely responsible, understanding to my house's quirks, responsive and gave great updates, thoughtful, organized, and very clean! I am so grateful to both Lacey and Jay for allowing my trip to Scotland to be as fun as possible, as I didn't worry about a thing with them at the helm back home. Many thanks to you both!

Mature, responsible couple who will love your animals and care for your home.
Donna and John did a great job with Elsa. They spoiled her with walks and attention and we would certainly request them again if the opportunity arises.

Responsible remote workers (and animal lovers) ready to provide attentive care!
Rachael and Pierre took great care of our elder kitty Monty. Rachael sent us a number of pictures of Monty during our absence. As we live in the woods, they even spotted and took a video of a passerby coyote. Upon our return, everything in our home was in order and Monty is a happy kitty. Thank you, Rachael and Pierre, for being wonderful house sitters, loving our pet, and taking care of our home.

Solo traveler trecking the globe!
Kyle was such a great sitter for our two cats, Buffy and Milo, while we were gone for a month hiking the John Muir Trail. He proved very self-sufficient, which was super important for us since we were hiking and out of cell service for most of the time. Something that stood out was his adaptability. A summer storm knocked out power for two days and Kyle took it in stride. Most importantly, we came home to two happy cats and a tidy apartment. If you are looking for a sitter, look no further than Kyle.

Happy, clean, animal loving family!
Sarah and Caleb were great! Easy to communicate with and took excellent care of Banksy. They checked in regularly and left the house clean and tidy upon return. I’d have them come and stay again anytime.
This was our first time using zeewoi and we were a little apprehensive, especially as we were going away for almost 5 weeks, but we really didn’t need to be. Mary and Kevin were fantastic from the start. They had excellent communication and put us at ease straight away. They looked after both our cats with lots of care and we came home to two very happy and content kitties. Mary and Kevin struck the balance just right whilst we were away by keeping us informed of how the cats were and sending pictures of what the cats were up to every couple of days. It was so lovely to know that the cats were enjoying themselves and being so well looked after whilst we were away. Mary and Kevin also looked after our house extremely well and we came back to a very clean and tidy home. We would definitely recommend Mary and Kevin to anyone needing a house sitter and would love for them to sit for us again if they were ever back in the area.
Julia was an amazing sitter and we couldn't be happier with our experience! From our first contact to when we arrived home after our trip, communication was excellent and we were able to enjoy our time away with complete peace of mind that our pets and our home were in good hands. We particularly appreciated how clean and tidy everything was when we got home with the linens and towels all washed and dried! Our cats clearly didn't miss us a bit - they were relaxed, their coats brushed and were giving us side-eye "oh, so, back to normal then? " looks as we unpacked. Thanks for everything Julia!
I feel that Julia is simply the best person and pet sitter I could ask for. They really cared for our cat and gave him lots of attention. She is flexible, upbeat, reliable, considerate and great at communicating. I highly recommend Julia and Chris.
After seeing the numerous positive reviews, I knew Cung would be an easygoing and professional cat sitter and house guest, and he was :-) Easy communication, prompt updates and clear concern for Boz & Artie's wellbeing, and pictures of cozying up on the couch together all made our time away secure and stress free. Upon returning home, the cats were chill and the apt was left spotless, as though he hadn't even been there.
Kimberly was a wonderful sitter who watched our two cats for us while we were out. She was willing to come a day early to help acclimate herself with the animals, and this was exceedingly helpful in making sure the cats would be comfortable with her during our absence. I would highly recommend Kimberly if you're looking for a responsible, caring sitter.
My husband and I are so grateful for Cendy staying with our ~1yr old cat for nearly a full month. We were nervous to leave her for so long but Cendy had Wilma literally eating out of the palm of his hand and snuggling with him in no time. Cendy was incredibly communicative with us and attentive to Wilma consistently for the entire duration of the sit which was such a relief and gave us the piece-of-mind needed to fully enjoy our trip. We returned back to an impeccably clean apartment and a very content kitty. For the first few days back Wilma was definitely looking around for Cendy, missing her buddy. We (and Wilma!) would welcome Cendy back any time, especially for a longer stay knowing how responsible of a sitter he was. Couldn't recommend enough!
Elyse was one of the best pet sitters we've ever met! Couldn't recommend her more. We hope she stays at our place again. She sent many pictures of our beloved cats throughout our absence. We returned to our cats seeming relaxed and happy as ever. She also left our apartment sparkling clean. 10/10 :)
Jenima is an excellent sitter! She is organized, communicative and flexible throughout the stay. We needed a sitter at the last minute because Jazz got sick, and Jenima saved us. We left a little worried about him, but Jenima took care of him really well and kept us informed. Cats love her! We definitely recommend her to take care of your pets!
Ann Marie was an excellent house sitter who went above and beyond. She flew in a day early and stayed at a local hotel so we she could meet my cat and get the keys before my early flight the next morning. When I returned, she and Tryke were best friends and the house was immaculate. She even washed the sheets and towels, and remade the bed. I strongly recommend Ann Marie for any future sits!
Caroline was a fabulous sitter and looked after our cat and the house beautifully. She is sensible and very self-sufficient but also kept us informed. We came home to a happy cat and a tidy house. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to others and hope she will sit for us again in the future!

Chelsea worked absolute miracles for us. I have a 2 yea old Shepherd mix who was a very good boy and then adopted another Shepherd mix but this one has a lot of Australian Shepherd in him. He was very bossy to the other dog, barked all of the time and I had no recall with him making life very hard since he really needs off leash control to get his exercise in. Also, my older dog was getting more and more anxious. I was considering rehoming the younger pup but fortunately heard of this organization. My older dog went there for 3 weeks and the younger dog joined for the last 2 weeks. The course comes with extensive training for us too and many online resources. We have had them back for a week and it has been life changing. I have total recall with both dogs now and the barking is controlled. Chelsea worked absolute miracles . While keeping up with the work at home, I now cry tears of joy and not stress!
I cannot express how grateful I am for PUPS! Our 11-month-old pitbull, Sasha, was out of control, mouthing, nipping, and causing chaos in our home. We were constantly dealing with fresh cuts and bruises, and she even damaged our walls. After trying several sessions with another trainer, we were told she might need anxiety medication and that her behavior could be permanent. I was feeling desperate and defeated, and then I discovered PUPS. I reached out and received a prompt, understanding response from Chelsea, who was eager to help Sasha. During our initial private session, she recommended the three-week board and train program and introduced us to balanced training techniques. The difference was remarkable! After just the first day, we gained invaluable knowledge and tools to help Sasha regain control over her behaviors. The transformation after her training was astounding. Sasha is now a well-behaved dog, and my heart is so full of pride and happiness. The education, love, and attention that Chelsea and Phelan provided were exceptional. I wholeheartedly recommend PUPS to anyone struggling with their dog's behavior! Photo credit:Peace and Unity Pet Services
We highly recommend Chelsea & PUPS for anyone who needs some extra help with their dogs! We brought our first dog, George, to a private training session when he joined our family three years ago and learned so many helpful techniques for leash control and reactivity. Honestly, we were pretty lax with keeping up on a training regimen and accepted many of his “minor” problem behaviors. We added a second dog, Ginny, to our family last year, and after a lot of chaos (and some scuffles 🤪), we knew it was time to get serious about enforcing structure and expectations to lead to a more peaceful coexistence for all of us - especially since we are expecting a baby in December! George and Ginny attended the 14-day Give Me Peace & Unity Board and Train program together and the results have been so impressive and reassuring. We were amazed by the progress they made in two weeks and feel so much relief in knowing that we have the tools and knowledge we need to continue building on the foundation set by PUPS. Chelsea was so patient, informative, knowledgable, and professional throughout the entire process. We are so grateful for the time and dedication she put into our dogs. ❤️
We recently sent our dog Cash to the 3 week, “Save My Dog” program at PUPS. When we rescued him he was labeled as an 8 week old lab mix. Well we soon realized that he was growing faster than we could keep track of, and he had immense strength, he was very playful but didn’t realize his own strength, defiant in the sense that he wanted to do things his way on his time, and stubborn. The turning point for us was when I took him out for a walk, and he took off after something, and drug me across the yard, because I feared if I dropped the leash he would run into the road and get hit by a car. I held on as long as I could and I finally had to let go. I told my husband the next day, we need to get him help so that he can live his best and safest life, and so that we can do the same. We found out prior to sending him to this program that he was a mix of alot of very large, very stubborn breeds, such as Rottweiler, American pit bull, husky, Great Pyrenees, and many more! So we knew his training was definitely out of our realm. We were given Chelsea’s information and upon contacting her, she was so helpful in getting us scheduled, telling us which program would be best for him, and answering any questions or concerns we may have. When we dropped him off, we were so nervous that he may not make it through the training program because of his behaviors, because he also had a terrible habit of jumping on people, humping incessantly and lunging at cars as they went by. Day one we got a video of Chelsea and Phelan working with him, and he was already like a different dog! He wasn’t pulling on the leash and walking them, he wasn’t jumping, his rude behavior seemed to have disappeared and he looked so happy! We checked in several times as well as Chelsea sending us updates throughout his training to update us on his progress. We finally felt that we could breathe a sigh of relief that he was getting the help he needed and deserved! When we went for our first training session I could not believe the difference in our dog! He was polite, he listened, he walked well on a leash, he didn’t jump, so many things that were all positive changes! On our way home, I literally sobbed because I couldn’t believe how great he was doing and how much he had progressed with the expertise of Chelsea and Phelan! I was unable to attend his final session and his graduation but Chelsea was so kind to FaceTime me so I could be “present”. She was so thorough with instructions on what to do when we returned home to stay consistent, and to set us up for success instead of failure. She also made it very clear that we could contact her at any time with questions/concerns, which we have already done, and are so appreciative of! If you have a dog that you are struggling with, I will tell you 100% to contact PUPS and speak with Chelsea. You will not be disappointed and your dog deserves to live their best and safest life. I would recommend them to anyone who is searching for help, and I would pay any price to receive the help we did for our baby. Instead of having an 11 month old, out of control, defiant puppy, we now have an 11 month old polite dog, who listens, respects authority and boundaries, makes good choices, doesn’t jump on people, doesn’t try to hump people, doesn’t lunge at cars, and is just a pleasure to have around! I have been able to walk him on his leash for the first time in months as I was too scared to after he pulled me down prior to his training. I have personally told Chelsea that she is an angel without wings and that she’s a miracle worker/dog whisperer! Do yourself and your dog a favor and get them the training they deserve. We are forever grateful and thankful for Chelsea and Phelan, and would recommend them to anyone, as they truly know what they are doing, they treat your animal like their own, and they will change the lives of your dog and you when you can have a healthy relationship with them! Thank you again Chelsea and PUPS for restoring hope, helping us help Cash, and for helping us give him the best and safest life possible ❤️🙏🏻
Peace and Unity is hands down the best trainers around. My pup is a totally different dog since he went there for a two week board and train. He listens and he is just a totally different pup. Never thought we would be able to have him off leash but we were able to do that at camp this weekend and his recall was on point. I also love the fact that they do group classes if you have been through their program. It just reinforces everything they learned and also teaches them to work around distractions. So happy we chose Chelsea and her partner to send Jax too. They do a wonderful job
Our dog, Bentley, had the best experience at Peace and Unity. He now has manners, isn't barking and is a pleasure to walk...he is a new dog!! Chelsea was a delight and very professional. We would highly recommend PUPS for anyone looking for dog training services.
I cannot say enough about Chelsea! My two Great Danes (3 year old siblings) were getting progressively worse in their behavior. Especially Sulley, who had taken to throwing himself at the window when a delivery truck came in the yard and then he would turn on his sister if she got in the way. He was not fun to have around, had to be kenneled when people came in, etc. He went to Chelsea for a three week program, and Jayne joined him for two, as she wasn't quite as problemsome as he was. She needed more fine tuning in her manners. They came home on December 22, and they were like new dogs. It was worth every penny we invested in their training. Over the holidays we had lots of people, including some they had never met, in and out and both dogs stayed relaxed on place command, and were super chill. I am able to walk them both together on heel, which will be useful as we spend our winter in Florida in a neighborhood, which they are not used to. We live in the woods and they are used to quiet and no other dogs. I am overjoyed with the work Chelsea did, and I am so grateful to have peace in my household again!!
Sending our lab, Huckleberry, to Peace and Unity Pet Services was easily one of the best decisions we could have made for our family. Before training with Chelsea, we had a very stressful household. Huckleberry could not be trusted around my two small children, could not be taken on walks due to constant pulling and jumping, he was a nightmare at vet appointments or when visitors would come to the house. Huckleberry would demand constant attention through biting and jumping. He would scoop up and destroy anything that fell onto the floor in a matter of seconds. We tried many other trainers who focused solely on positive reinforcement which was not sustainable for us. We were at our wits end in our inability to control him. All of this changed when we sent him to PUPS. The turn around in his behavior is absolutely mind blowing and sometimes it is hard to believe he is the same dog. He is patient, obedient, gentle with the kids, and a dog I am proud to show off. He is a pleasure on walks now and doesn't pull, lunge or bite at the leash. He can safely be outside with the kids while they play and no longer wants to tackle them over. He has successfully gone on many adventures with us, including hikes, and breweries. The training has strengthened our bond and instilled trust from both sides. He has been a perfect, well-behaved dog. Chelsea was also a pleasure to work with. She is very easy going and took her time to really explain how to maintain proper training. I could go on and on about how incredible our experience was with PUPS, but overall, it was the best investment we could have made for a lifetime of happiness with our Huck. If you need a happier life with you dog, do not hesitate to use PUPS, you won’t regret it!
Before my husband and I sent our pups to PUPS, we were becoming very overwhelmed. Neither of our dogs walked well on leash, and both were reactive on walks. Our Shepherd barked and jumped in every building we walked into. Our beagle mix was afraid of and reactive to men and other dogs, and had even gotten into a few fights with other dogs. She was also difficult for us to train even with simple commands, as we couldn’t figure out what motivated her. We were starting to feel like we would never be able to bring them anywhere with us. Choosing Chelsea and Phelan at PUPS was the best decision we could have made for them. They not only taught our dogs clear expectations and boundaries, but also taught us how to keep up with their training at home. The difference in our dogs now is incredible. We can bring our dogs to family events and even to football games or in stores without worrying about how they will react and we even get compliments on their behavior. Walks are now a breeze. Our previously anxious mix is now a happy carefree pup now that she knows expectations. We are so very thankful for everything Chelsea and Phelan did to help us and have recommended them to multiple people since getting our dogs back!
It's been just over 3 months since I brought my dog Seymour home from the 4 week "Save My Dog" Board and Train. I'm mad I didn't find Chelsea sooner! She has really changed my life for the better and has given me my happiness and confidence back. This was an extremely emotional turn around for me. Seymour was so fearful and thus aggressive towards humans and overexcited and reactive towards other dogs that I hadn't taken him for a walk for about a year and a half. I would run him on the treadmill, play mentally stimulating games with him, and let him run in the backyard. I was stressed and scared of walking with him, but would feel bad going outside without my dogs so we'd all just stay home. My friends were scared to come over and my parents (who I live with) hadn't even met him. Drop off with Chelsea was my worse fear come true. He had tried to bite Chelsea AT LEAST 10 times and there was nothing I could do that was able to stop him. The drive home was very emotional to say the least. Since bringing Seymour home my world has completely changed. Walking the dogs is my favorite thing to do! I've had friends over multiple times and my dogs are able to be a part of the social event. Seymour will still hold place, but now he wags his tail and does a little wiggle when my friends look his way and say "Hi Buddy!". My friends still haven't build the courage to walk him themselves, but he's able to walk with us! We walk by the elementary school and Seymour is focused on where I'm going instead of the kids that are running around. I'm no longer scared when I see another dog or person or BOTH (lol) walking towards me. Chelsea thank you so much. You've given me the tools I needed to feel confident as a dog owner and also have given me my life back. I'm excited to finally be able to plan a trip from my boyfriend and me because Chelsea also does pet sitting!
