Tony was our first house sitter and he made it a great experience. He kept in touch leading up to the sit, and made friends with our dogs immediately on his arrival. While we were away he sent photos of his walks out with the dogs, and he took them to places we never had too! He also looked after our chickens and cat, and everyone was happy and content when we got home. The house was very clean and tidy, and a meal waited for us on our return which was very welcome indeed. Thank you for a great house sit Tony, we hope you would come back again sometime in the future.

Dani was an absolute godsend for us. It was the first time we were leaving Cava for so long, as we were on a travel career break in very different timezones and poor signal. Dani took care of her as if she was his own in all possible ways, and followed our instructions to the letter. He took her with him just about everywhere and, as a certified dog trainer, really helped to get Cava get more accustomed to different dogs and environments. For 3 months, we did not have a care in the world as Dani sent us daily updates, videos and pictures. He was super self sufficient, left the flat sparkling, was super flexible when we had some plane issues coming back and is just an extremely all round kind and generous soul. We highly recommend him and all of us, especially Cava, would have him back in a heartbeat. 5* housesitter and human being!

Montse was a really warm and friendly person. She adapted really well given she has three dogs plus her dog to look after and two goats. She loved taking the dogs on walks and was very clean and tidy in the house. I would definitely ask Montse again and would highly recommend her for a house sit.

Truly perfect! They are so professional that they split up and covered 2 places, as something went amiss with the return at their previous sit. Only a pity we never met Natalia in person. However, it was a great pleasure to meet with Steven. Their communication with us and their affinity with the cats was amazing. They left the house impeccable. They can come back any time! We hope to see them soon back in Florence.

Kendra was a great cat sitter to Genepi and she truly is a cat whisperer. Genepi usually takes 4 days to make friends with a new person but she came out and made friends with Kendra Day 1! Kendra regularly sent wonderful videos and pics of Genepi purring happily. The apartment was neat when we returned and our garden was blossoming. Would absolutely ask Kendra to sit again and highly recommend her. Thanks Kendra!!

Toby and Chloe were amazing pet sitters. It wasn’t the easiest sit - a nervous dog and 3 cats with various ailments and medication to have, but they took it all in their stride and cared for them so well without any issues. Our nervous dog Zelda warmed to them in just 2 days which is a record for house sitters so far! I also really enjoyed getting to know them over dinner the night before I left, they’re very easygoing and positive people. They also left the house spotless for when I came back. I would love to have them sit for us again. You can rest assured your house and animals are in safe hands with this lovely pair!

Carole and Ron are excellent cat-sitters! They took very good care of my cat Lola and of my house. I came home to a happy cat and a very clean and tidy house. I was fortunate to have Hillary return for a second sit. She took excellent care of both my cat and my home. She got on well with my neighbors and even allowed my friend to come visit Suley while she was there. I especially appreciate how flexible and accommodating she was regarding arrangements for a sitter who would be taking over for the second part of my very long absence. All in all, Hillary is a gem!

She was willing to come a day early to help acclimate herself with the animals, and this was exceedingly helpful in making sure the cats would be comfortable with her during our absence. Wow! Just wow! We cannot say enough about the care and compassion Trisha and John provided to our cats and our home. We are always somewhat nervous about a new pet sitter in our home, but that all faded when we met this wonderful couple. They provided daily updates as requested, complete with pictures, videos and personalized captions. Upon our return, we were greeted by happy and content kitties. There was no sign of anxiety in Tika! Yea!!! Our home was clean, the sheets and towels were washed and bed remade! They even left behind thank you notes and little gifts! What a breath of fresh air these two individuals are! We hope to have them back again soon.

Oh wow! Everyone should be so lucky to have Nicholas and Veerle watch their house and pets. These lovely people are pros! They communicated early and often, were super accommodating to some last minute changes (it was originally going to be only our cats to watch but we decided to keep the dog home as well so that added to the schedule and care needs) and they left the house spotless and all set up for another sitter who came in after them. We didn’t get the chance to meet because my departure and arrival times but I dearly hope I get to in the future because they were just great! I even heard how nice they were from My neighbors who say them out walking our dog. :-) They also sent regular pictures of the pets which look like pro-photography! Cannot recommend this couple enough! Your pets and house will be in good hands!

Jenima is an excellent sitter! She is organized, communicative and flexible throughout the stay. We needed a sitter at the last minute because Jazz got sick, and Jenima saved us. We left a little worried about him, but Jenima took care of him really well and kept us informed. Cats love her! We definitely recommend her to take care of your pets!

Jose was a wonderful pet/house sitter for us recently. We highly recommend him. He was wonderfully reliable and responsible and took such good care of our two pets. On short notice Jose drove down from Grass Valley to the East Bay for a bit of a quiet get-away while working a really hard job teaching online. We know how hard that is firsthand and partly why we needed our own get-away for a last-minute backpacking trip. We have a recently rescued pit bull and a rescued cat that we're still introducing to each other to make sure the dog doesn't eat the cat (as he seems to want to), and the cat doesn't blind the dog (as she would if he tried to eat her). That might be more background than is needed in a review but Jose made us feel comfortable about everything because of how conscientious and responsible he clearly is. We could tell when we talked to him that he was genuinely kind and eminently trustworthy. We are very grateful and hope Jose was happy with everything too because we know what a value his care was to us. Jose truly deserves any and all house-sitting gigs that strike his interest. Ours was not the easiest and he was amazing. Get him if you can.
