Where do I even begin??? Ben and Lucy’s is beyond top tier! Lynette is absolutely amazing with our dogs. Our dogs require special arrangements and every single one of their needs are met 10x over! This is more than doggie daycare. This is an oasis vacation for dogs big and small. There are pools, shade sails, fans, misting contraptions, playground equipment, multiple ‘suites’ to accommodate your dogs and is ALWAYS SO CLEAN!!!!!!! We live almost an hour away, but so worth it knowing how good of hands they’re in. Lynette should think about doing photography on the side, because she always gets the best pictures and videos of how much fun they’re having. We don’t know what we would do without Ben and Lucy’s!!! 🐶🐶🩷💙

We could not have been happier with our experience!!! My husband and I just returned from a 2 week trip to Australia, and MJ staying with Lynette at Ben&Lucy’s really put us at ease the whole time. MJ is a sweet and playful 7yr old but she does struggle with separation anxiety and even social anxiety with other doggos. She is an only dog and has not had much socializing time growing up. At other places we’ve boarded MJ, she has not done well in pre-boarding socializing tests and has always had to only have 1:1 play if I could afford to add it as an extra expense. So, it is hard enough to leave MJ somewhere that may not truly understand her needs/struggles, but the 17 hr difference in timezones really made it to where we had to put our trust someone to take good care of MJ while we were away. Our original pet-sitting plan fell through just a week before we left, so we were scrambling to figure something out for MJ asap. We have a friend who lives in Houma who was going to watch her, but was going to have to board her for a few days of our trip. My husband found Ben&Lucy’s as an option for this and was intrigued because of all of the good reviews. Even though we live an hour away in New Orleans, we have no problem driving in for a great dog boarding option. Lynette was very quick to respond and set up a meet and greet. The meet and greet went well- got a tour of the yards and kennels, and we were so excited about what Ben&Lucy’s provides that we asked if we could board MJ the entire 17 days rather than just a weekend. Lynette sent us multiple pictures and videos on a daily basis, and was very responsive the whole time. Receiving such updates was a highlight of the experience. Any fear I had about MJ’s boarding experience dissolved more and more with every video and picture received. MJ looked increasingly comfortable and happy each day. I picked up MJ this morning and had a great run down with Lynette about MJ’s time there. Lynette shared about the changes she made to MJ’s sleeping arrangements (from a pen to an anti-anxiety/heavy duty kennel) and feeding habits (blocking the view of other dogs and adding some powder to MJ’s food to encourage eating) to ensure MJ’s unique needs were met. MJ was worn OUT and happy upon greeting, and slept the whole way home. 10/10 would highly recommend :) Looking forward to using Ben&Lucy’s for our dog boarding needs for as long as we can!!

This was our 1st experience with a pet sitter. Lynette was very friendly and nice with Lucy. Lucy even made a new friend (Molly) for the weekend. Our puppy Willow had been with us for only 4 days, and we needed somewhere for her to stay… and Ben and Lucy’s helped us out and kept her away from the other dogs because she was not fully vaccinated. We have since been back multiple times because Willow loves it here! She is the happiest (and most tired) dog when we pick her up. And I love that when she is there, I get constant updates of what she is doing.

The the absolute best!!! My girl, Rosie, doesn’t want to leave when I pick her up from Ben & Lucy’s. Ms. Lynette loves her like she is her own…. And constantly updates with pictures and videos of her playing outside. I never have to worry about a thing when she is here.

Lynette is awesome with the animals, very Caring and attentive with them. Our Harry sure loved his stay. We had no worries about his allergies while under her care. Harry has a new home when his mom and dad are away and Grandma made an awesome friend with Mrs. Lynette!

I had to board my two Aussies unexpectedly and happen to come across Send Rover Over. After a meet and greet with Amber, I was more than comfortable leaving my boys with her. It is a home environment with a huge yard for the dogs to explore and play. They receive one on one attention and love just like they were at home. And a she’ll even give them a free wash before you pick them up!! Honestly, I couldn’t be happier with the treatment and love Amber gave my boys. I’d highly recommend Send Rover Over to anyone looking for a boarder, daycare, or even a grooming. Don’t hesitate on this one!!

Amber was great! I have a 10 year old lab and she was very accommodating. When we picked our lab up she was very happy and Amber had given her a bath. I could tell Amber had taken great care of her and we got updates daily with pictures. I definitely will bring her to Amber the next time I have to board her!

My dogs love Amber! They were always happy to visit her, and when it was time for them to come home, they were a little reluctant! She is incredible with all breeds, trims their coat at a great price as well as bathe and watching them. My Diamond is always excited when being dropped off. Mrs. Cambre knows how to care and give the attention a dog needs.

I was totally unaware that such a great sitter was in my backyard. Amber and her entire family show how much they love the dogs and they take special care to ensure they are loved like their own. She did not follow directions, she wouldn't show up. She put animals in hot sun without asking and refused to move them. I am disabled so it's hard to move them. I found them almost boiled to death but thankfully was able to save them.,

Had to go on a last minute business trip, I called Amber and she took my dog right away. She sent me constant update with photos. she even accommodated my request for video monitoring where I saw her rubbing his belly and comforting him during a thunderstorm. She even sent him home with a fresh bath with a cute bandana around his neck. Amber is the only sitter I will ever use and recommend her to everyone. Pachino was happy to see me but I could tell he didn’t want to leave!

We had a fantastic experience with Cage N Kennels. Very clean, owners are dog lovers themselves. Used the service for 9 days for 2 small dogs. Very accommodating and prompt response to phone calls. Would definitely use their service again. Highly recommend.

This is a very clean kennel and I would recommend it for anyone staying or traveling near Houma. Kennels : clean, temperature controlled, secure, play time. Rates were very good. This was my very first time leaving my Chow with a boarder. He was there for 4days. When we picked him up, he was terrified. The end of his tail had been cut and he was acting really strange. I would never, ever use these people again. He’s never been the same since.

we were so overly impressed with our pups stay! nov 27- nov 30. He stayed in the luxury bedroom. he had lots of space, a comfy bed and they made sure he was always comfortable playing with his new friends! This was our first time ever boarding him and I was so happy with the whole process! we could see him ANYWHERE he went. calls were always returned and questions online always answered! I love that they have a day care option as well! full day/ half day or overnight! we will 10000% be using them again! I can’t say enough great things about this place and the crew that works there! My Labrador has been going here the past few months for daycare and we most recently boarded him there as well. My lab has been super excited to go back each week and everyone there is so great with him, they genuinely seem to love and want to care for him. The facility itself seems very well maintained and gives him a good amount of space to run around and interact with other dogs. Highly recommend for anyone looking for daycare or boarding options in the area!

Dropped my 13yr old pup off for a few days but visited the site prior to. The facility is clean and the dogs had plenty of room to roam and play. Play sections are segregated for different size dogs. The amount of attention he got is that comparable to the attention I gave him when he was a pup. He came home a happy dog and this reminded me to play with him like I use to. I'll definitely be back and HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone. I drove from New Orleans to Houma because I cant just drop my elder dog off anywhere. This place surpassed my expectations!

My 9 month goldendoodle stayed there this past weekend and had a blast. The facility is very nice and clean with lots of space for the dogs to roam around and play. There are lots of cameras so you can check in on your pup from time to time. Cotina is very sweet and has a huge loving for animals. Will definitely board my dog here again.

Robin took very good care of our furbaby. While in town for a wedding, Robin provided us with updates, videos and pictures. Our furbaby had her own section with all the comforts of home. I was able to communicate before and during the boarding process regarding any questions I had. I hardly ever separated from my furbaby so this helped me feel confident she was under good care. 💕🙋🏾‍♀️🐶🙌🏾

Mrs. Robin is the best. My dogs are very picky with staying with ppl when I’m not around, and she got to their hearts on the first stay. She communicates very well and always gives updates. And my schedule is hectic and can be last minute, but she’s very accommodating and patient with me. I recommend her to any and everyone looking for a place to bars their dogs. And she only takes a few at a time which is great for my pups cuz they get overwhelmed pretty easily.

When looking for a place to take care of my dogs, I wanted to find somewhere that they would be just as happy as being at home, or even happier. Happy Tails Doggie Day Care is that place. The dogs got lots of playtime, attention, and care. The owners are the real deal when it comes to being pet lovers. You can just tell by everything! This place is going to make our lives easier by being able to have trusted care of our three fur babies. The facility is nice also - very clean and designed for the dogs to have a great experience. So glad we have found Happy Tails!

Five star ⭐️ doggie daycare all around. Maddie and Miranda are dedicated to making sure your fur baby is safe, well loved, and has plenty of fun. After my Livy started to attend here she was attacked by another dog. Livy started to show signs of distress while there and they worked with me to get her comfortable at daycare again. The referred me to a trainer who came to the daycare and worked with Livy. Now, Livy is still a little 10 lbs jack Russell terrorist, but she loves daycare again. Thanks to Maddie and Miranda dedication and love for what they do. I’m forever grateful for them! So, If you’re looking for a place that’s reasonably priced and your fur baby is treated like family, look no further. Ask about their bundles!

Kristi did such a great job of getting our Mini Goldendoodle puppy in a potty schedule, training her in basic commands, and socializing her with other dogs! Kristi also has reached out since and helped Gracie make the transition from doggie school to home as smooth as possible. Gracie had a wonderful time, and I could tell a big improvement when we got her back! Also, Kristi’s prices were way beyond the cheapest I was able to find. Highly recommend!

I want start off by saying that Kristi is the only organization that I contacted that contacted me back and followed through. Her price was the best of 5 places. She was communicative and direct with expectations and how to get there. My dog felt safe and was loved while she was there. She returned home knowing more than when she left. Kristi called to check on her the following day and reassure me that it’ll take a few days to get into her routine and encouraged me to stick with it. She told me she would come out to us if we ran into any issues. She’s very knowledgeable in her craft and definitely an expert. Her children are precious but that’s just lagniappe. You won’t be disappointed!

Just had my dog trained here and all I can say is absolutely amazing results!!! If anybody has any concerns, trust me these ARE the right people to trust your dog with. They are so beyond knowledgeable and they truly care about each dog in their care. My dog used to run for the hills. I even spent 15 days looking for her after she jumped my fence. Now she is listening to everything I say and with a smile! I couldn't ask for more! Videos and pictures updates are sent and they even teach the owners as well. A+++

Our puppy went in stubborn and dominant in full and after some searching and some thought we decided to send him to Pawsitive K-9. Can honestly say that he is a different dog now after 2 weeks of training. He is no longer having any of the issues he had before and is such a good pup now. We are very pleased with his training and are thankful for Kristi and her husband’s help!

Kristi took my little demon spawn in for a week, and let me tell you... she's an angel from heaven. I worked with him as much as I could and was getting nowhere. He came back a completely different dog. He's fully potty trained, kennel trained, and just so much easier to handle. We had a little trial and error when he got home, and Kristi was there guiding me through it. He's only 5 months old. So he has a lot of learning to do, but he grew up so much in one week with her. Her prices are UNMATCHED. I called so many people and couldn't even afford a day with them much less a whole week. She sends video updates and loads of information and is very friendly. She's so talented, and you can see it in the results.

Jack, my Goldendoodle was all over the place. Jumping all over us in excitement because if so much energy they have. I brought him to K9 University dog training and just in 6 days he was a total different dog. Listens to my commands, controls his excitement when anyone is around, and now completely walks without a leash right by my side. We too the trainings we learned from Kristi and applied it at home. I will have to say I was reluctant to leave my baby with a stranger for 6 days but she sent me pics and videos to make me feel so proud and happy I made the choice. If you are looking for training for your pup, pick Kristi, she is amazing and I’m looking forward to her working with my new Goldendoodle Charlie!!

We are so thankful to Kristi for all that she was able to accomplish with our 7 month old Cavalier puppy, Ruby, in just one week. Before we brought Ruby to Kristi, she was darting out of the house to run after cars. We were so worried she was going to be hit. Now, she barely reacts to cars. We can take her on a walk without her pulling the entire time, she is no longer jumping on us constantly, she is doing much better with potty training, and she has learned some other basic commands that have been so helpful. Kristi was very communicative throughout the process, sent us videos updating us on how Ruby was doing and showing us how to continue her training once she was home. And when Kristi and her husband dropped Ruby off to us at the end of the week they spend over an hour going over the things Ruby learned with us, having us practice the skills with her, and explaining a little dog psychology as well. There has been a little regression since she’s been home which is to be expected as Ruby learns to respect the commands from us as well, but I feel like we have been given a new dog. My only regret is not reaching out sooner!

She is truly a God send and definitely is the best hands down. She takes time with you and explain everything that she is doing every step of the way. After just one week of training, our pup was interacting with people and even other dogs. He was afraid of water. Even at the site of looking at a water bottle he would be scared. Now, he actually loves the water and wants to play al the time. While there she provided lots of videos and updates. She is truly the best around. Her prices are definitely reasonable and worth it. Nola Happy Tails is a passionate and flexible company with a great crew of dedicated dog walkers. You can tell how much they love your dogs. They’ve given my dogs their medication in a timely fashion and have even gone as far as picking up my mail! I love them and they are part of my extended family now. A few years ago, while planning an international trip, we were nervous to hire a pet sitter for our 2 dogs. We have a senior chihuahua mix and another dog who can be a runner and they had only ever stayed with family when we went out of town. Claudia came and met with both of them and took plenty of notes on their routines and needs and the dogs instantly took to her! During our trip, we got regular updates with pictures of the dogs and they looked so happy! It really helped us to relax and enjoy our vacation. Both of my Beagles love being take of by Nola Happy Tails! Being that they were both rescues, regular boarding wasn’t an option we liked for our dogs. Clyde (and Milo before him) gets the best attention to his every whim from Claudia and her crew. I never have to worry about how he is being treated - when we go on vacation, Clyde is on vacation too with Nola Happy Tails! Even when one of the dogs was on meds, that was all taken care of according to instructions. Claudia makes great notes about what we like to feed him, what treats we allow, if he has a favorite toy or blanket , all to make sure they have the best time with her. When he gets dropped off, he cries when Claudia leaves! That shows you how much he is loved by her. She takes such good care of her clients the animals get spoiled. Be aware that sometimes your pet may like going “on vacation with her” more than being home with you! I would recommend her to anyone with a dog, cat, bird, rabbit pig, chicken…she loves them all, truly a special person! 🥰

I was nervous about leaving my two dogs and cat for a week, but Claudia’s experience (she’s a vet tech and has worked with many different types of animals!) and thorough notes at our meet-and-greet put me at ease. Happy Tails were great! They took care of my elderly pups while I attended a family wedding out of town. Both pups had meds & a routine they were happy to support. We love Pawlins!! Duke loves to go there and every time he leaves his tail is always wagging. We use them for their grooming services and day sitting. We love being able to watch him on the cameras while we are away. We recommend Pawlins to our friends and family all the time!

Gizmo loved it at Pawlins. We live in a Travel Trailer and sometimes site electric is very questionable. In NO this is definitely the case. Pawlins gave us the the peace of mind to know our fur baby was safe and cool in the hot weather while we enjoyed a day out in the French Quarter. They are awesome.

Today was my dog’s first interview and she spent a half day there. I found the facility clean, the staff courteous and ultimately my dog was safe. I watched her throughout the morning on the webcam. My pet also needed a vet analysis to update her records and it was convenient she could go right next door to the veterinary hospital affiliated with Pawlins.

My first experience with Pawlins was today getting my Yorkie groomed. Leonard did a phenomenal job! I will be a regular. The facility was so impressive. And the staff was kind and gentle with my sweet girl. I HIGHLY recommend!! 🩷 …

Everything was done timely, professionally and courteously. Our Bichon, Jake, has never looked better. Ashley did a great job.

Our buddies board their dog here. So when we had a last minute trip, we decided to try it instead of a pet sitter. It was great! the staff is super communicative (particularly when our pup was shy at first and a little intimidated), very easy to reach and the videos of play time were great. We also liked the rates. Would board here again

The staff was very nice and friendly. I dropped off my cat for a 7 day stay. The place was very clean and didn’t smell at all like cats (or dogs for that matter). The report cards they sent were very cute- it included a picture and a little note “from the cat” like “meow, I’m doing well…” I’ve added pictures they sent me. It was easy to coordinate the cats stay, and drop off and pick up were seamless. The cat was clearly well cared for while there. They even washed the blanket we dropped him off with.

Can not say enough good things about Pawlins. I have been to other places and they all smelled really bad. Pawlins keeps their facility very clean and sanitized not to mention my pup loves going to play with all her friends. Every person is so nice and professional and friendly. Lucy, my dog also gets groomed here and they always do an amazing job on her. I highly suggest and recommend this place for all your fit babies needs.

I’ve really debated whether to leave this review but it seems necessary. We have brought our dogs to Pawlins twice for grooming. One time was without incident, but this second time is too horrific to go without comment and warning for other dog owners. We dropped the dogs off for grooming on Saturday, receiving a call from the groomer shortly after saying that they had caught some of our senior dog’s tail fur in the nail grinder and he had yelped, so he needed to be looked at by the vet. We were understandably worried but it sounded under control. When the vet called us to update, the severity of the injury was much more significant than previously disclosed and they were undecided if they would need to amputate a portion of his tail to rectify the issue. We were SHOCKED! Still are. How does this happen at a standard bathe and groom appt to a 15 year old dog!!!? Whom we are very concerned will not survive the anesthesia required for an amputation surgery???Currently we are waiting for the vet to decide whether the surgery will be necessary, and it has been 5 days since he was maimed by the groomer at Pawlins. To add further insult to this terrible injury, No one from Pawlins has called us to ask how he is doing? To inquire about his health? He is unable to bathroom outside properly because of the tail bandaging. He barely moved for all of Saturday and Sunday upon returning home after the trauma and honestly we thought it was the end of his life. I’m appalled that we haven’t received any calls or efforts from Pawlins, as to how we are coping with the multiple vet appts he now has scheduled due to their negligence? We both have to take time off from work to get him to these appts and as a single car couple an offer of ride assistance or for him to be treated at a vet facility closer to our home would have been greatly appreciated. I’m just in shock that this could, and did happen, and am losing sleep about the possibility of my senior dog needing a major surgery. I wish we had never brought them there and hope that other dog owners take note of the warning. Edit after owner’s response: Laure, you have our number, you do not call, you have my email, you’ve sent no message. You have chosen to reach out to us, for the first time as the owner of the establishment that maimed our dog, 5 days after the fact, and only in a response to a google review. So I will call that out for what it so obviously is, an insincere and performative apology. Thanks for the 50$ to Uber and your public declarations of compassion. As well as kudos to y’all for covering the vet bills for the INJURIES your staff and negligence caused! On 12/19, Einstein’s wound reopened, causing significant bleeding. We rushed him back to Pawlins’ chosen vet in River Ridge, calling Pawlins and pleading with GM Meg to allow us to use our closer vet due to the strain of multiple visits (5 and counting) on our time and resources. Meg said the owner, Laur, refused to pay for care unless we continued using their vet. Laur, who once claimed they’d do “anything” to make this right, has ignored calls since 12/19, leaving Meg to handle this on her day off when she was with her daughter. Please see her false lies in her response to my original review. They’ll do anything to support us during this difficult time, EXCEPT THE ONE THING WE REQUESTED. Our vet and the emergency vet’s were appalled that they are refusing to pay for Einstein’s care, except at the vet to which they are related and many have suggested that that may not be legal. Einstein has since required two more emergency vet visits, on 12/27 and now on 12/29. Their refusal to take responsibility is appalling. We’ve given up on them and will send them the bills. Please, if you value your pet’s wellbeing, or being treated with dignity and respect avoid Pawlins at all costs. Please also look at their Indeed reviews from employees who talk about the lack of training and support from management and ownership and their employer score of 2.8 to know what kind of place this is and how much they value people.
