Makes my going away so much easier knowing everything is taken care if at home! i would definitely recommend Maureen and Ryan as sitters🥰

High energy family to come and play with your pets!
It was an absolute pleasure to have Pam and Brian look after our cat, Ollie, and home while we were away. They are very kind, personable and down to earth people. We not only enjoyed having them sit but also enjoyed getting to know and meet with them. They are great at communicating and very reliable. They provided regular updates of Ollie and we could tell they truly cared about our cat. They also provided notes of their stay, detailing anytime Ollie was fed, had a hairball and whenever they were out/home etc, it was a very nice touch that we’ve never had from previous sits. They also left us a very unexpected and thoughtful gift on our return (thanks again!). We came home to a very clean flat (you couldn’t tell anyone had been here) and most importantly, a happy kitty. We could not have asked for more from Pam and Brian and anyone would be lucky to have them sit for them.

Mindfulness Coach Seeks Furry Companions While Working Remotely
Matt was terrific! Phoebe quickly adjusted to him and enjoyed his company. He was organized, neat and a pleasure to have sit in my home. His calm, zen-like personality instantly put Phoebe at ease and it was evident when I returned by how relaxed she was that she enjoyed herself spending time with him. I would definitely recommend Matt as a pet sitter in your home.

Responsible, tidy digital nomads.
Keith and Tiara are the best pet sitters we've ever had! They took great care of the house, the cats, and even helped us out with our new landscaping. They were terrific communicators - they sent me pics every day and a video of the house when they left. I really can't recommend them highly enough!

Retired couple, reliable, loves all pets
Mike and Dianne are lovely people. My lab Bob was so happy to have them taking care of him. Bob was happy and content when we returned home from our vacation. The house was left in great condition, neat and clean and Mike had even picked up after Bob in the yard. I definitely recommend them as wonderful house/pet sitters.

Small Traveling Family, Experienced Pet & Home Owners
Had a chance to meet Elle and her family the night before I left and they are lovely. I was a little worried about kids in my old, non-childproofed house but Elle reassured me they are used to living in a variety of homes. When I got back the cats looked happy and healthy which is the best review. Kids were a new experience for them but kids and cats seem to have handled it well. The house was clean and tidy. Elle was very self-sufficient which was good as I only had intermittent phone reception while gone.

Pros: Our kitties were well cared for. Ary offered to stay until we returned when our flight was cancelled--this meant an extra day and a half--which we appreciated. Cons: I want to be fair. The kitties were fine, and they are our first priority. But we also care about our backyard birds, which we requested she care for. When we returned we found all the birdbaths were empty, the hummingbird feeders hadn't been filled with fresh nectar for days, and I'm not sure how much feeding actually got done because of the number of unopened bags of birdseed. Our previous house sitters sent a brief text about the kitties or a photo every few days while we were away. I admit we didn't specifically ask Ary to do this but we were surprised that the only communications from her related to a couple of questions about the house. I don't expect house sitters to be perfect housekeepers but I was dismayed to find dirty glasses in the cupboard. The aluminum cat food cans were not placed in the recycling container, but simply put in the trash. Wooden spoons that I asked not to be cleaned in the dishwasher were in the dishwasher. I had provided instructions on these points in the welcome guide. It was also dismaying that the phone call that Ary scheduled to meet us didn't happen because "time got away" from her. We waited over an hour for her call, which didn't come. Again, it's important to note that the kitties were fine when we got home, and Ary had washed the sheets and dishes.
Kendra was a great cat sitter to Genepi and she truly is a cat whisperer. Genepi usually takes 4 days to make friends with a new person but she came out and made friends with Kendra Day 1! Kendra regularly sent wonderful videos and pics of Genepi purring happily. The apartment was neat when we returned and our garden was blossoming. Would absolutely ask Kendra to sit again and highly recommend her. Thanks Kendra!!
Anna was an excellent sitter - she took great care to understand all of the intricacies of taking care of the house and cats, asked lots of questions, and arrived on time and ready for the sit. During the trip, she checked in with updates, and upon returning home, left the space tidy and clean. The cats were happy and healthy, and seemed to have had a great time during the sit. Thanks Anna!
I was fortunate to have Hillary return for a second sit. She took excellent care of both my cat and my home. She got on well with my neighbors and even allowed my friend to come visit Suley while she was there. I especially appreciate how flexible and accommodating she was regarding arrangements for a sitter who would be taking over for the second part of my very long absence. All in all, Hillary is a gem!
Young was the perfect house sitter for us. From the moment you meet her, you can tell she is animal person and is detailed oriented and will take great care of your house and pets. She exudes a peaceful and grounded energy. She was comfortable with each our pets from the high energy dog to the shy skittish cat. She played with the dog in the yard every day and took him on walks. And she was also very attentive to our cats and figured out how to maintain the equilibrium in the relationship between the cats and dog. She is an excellent communicator; she asked questions when our directions weren't clear and kept us updated on the pets. She is also an amazing photographer. She sent us pics of our pets every day that totally captured each of their personalities.
After seeing the numerous positive reviews, I knew Cung would be an easygoing and professional cat sitter and house guest, and he was :-) Easy communication, prompt updates and clear concern for Boz & Artie's wellbeing, and pictures of cozying up on the couch together all made our time away secure and stress free. Upon returning home, the cats were chill and the apt was left spotless, as though he hadn't even been there.
Amanda is truly our trusted sitter "find"! She comes back regularly, so much so that our kitties think she is their secondary owner! Always reliable, clean, responsible and most of all loves our cats as much as we do! Good communicator, self reliant - all in all a perfect "10"!
Angel was absolutely the best house sitter we could have hoped for. She is a very warm, open and diligent person and our two cats adored her. She looked after our house and garden with really conscientious care. She won over our very timid cat, Billie, and sent regular photos of both cats looking supremely content which gave us perfect peace of mind. The house was completely spotless on our return and the garden was fabulous... no mean feat since there was a heatwave while we were away and she kept everything watered and in great condition. We would have Angel back at the drop of a hat and cannot recommend her highly enough.
Paige, David, and family were WONDERFUL sitters for my crew! They were so pleasant and personable, and the pets warmed up to them very quickly. Even my rescue cat who tends to stray away from men loved David. I received regular updates and communication (before and during the sit). I truly did not have any concerns while I was away knowing that everyone had such great care and attention given to them. (I know the dogs had a good time because when I came home there was no commotion over my return.) I was away on NYE and Paige had no issues keeping an eye on one of the dogs who has anxiety surrounding loud noises. The family cleaned up after themselves and may have left the house cleaner than when I left! Truly such a great family who I would welcome back any time!
Steven was a great sitter for our black lab Souris and cat Pinot. They were well looked after and really liked Steven. Our house was in good order when we got back and Steven was kind enough to give us a lift to and from the airport. He was very flexible, arriving day early so we could show him around.
Kristi was an exceptional house / pet sitter and we appreciate her being so flexible as were not sure how long our vacation was going to be. She was prompt, courteous, and even drove up the weekend before to meet with us. She took great care of our house and our dog snd cats loved her. I would highly recommended her.
Is it better to board cats or leave at home?
Veterinarians advising to leave cats at home with a pet sitter who will stay overnight in your home, boarding is not recommended for cats as they are stressed in a new environment, you can find a sitter who will care for your cats and home for free at Zeewoi.
How much should you pay someone to watch your cat?
At least $20 per visit, per overnight watching in your home, otherwise you can find a free sitter at Zeewoi.
What do people do with their cats when they go on vacation?
Inviting a cat sitter to your home, boarding the cat with a local business, asking a friend, family or neighbour to feed and check the well-being. The most efficient way to leave your cat during your vacation is with Zeewoi cat sitters for free, in this way, you will save cat sitting costs and make vacation not only for you but also for your cat sitter!
We were so fortunate to find Tammy and Paw Sensitive. She stepped in during a family emergency situation to care for our kitty and gave us the peace of mind that we needed, which was invaluable. The level of care and flexibility she provided were above and beyond. Getting the pix of our kitty with each visit was such a great touch as well. So glad we found Paw Sensitive and would highly recommend them!
Tammy was fantastic with our cat, Panther! She’s someone that I absolutely trust to take care of our best friend when we’re traveling or away for an extended time. It’s the next best thing to taking our cat on the road with us (which he would hate 🤣)! He doesn’t normally like new people but he warmed up to Tammy and she was very sensitive about working at his pace and allowing him to be comfortable. I highly recommend Paw Sensative!
Tammy was amazing! We were out of town for our wedding and honeymoon, I was honestly stressed because I had not been apart long term from my two cats since I adopted them as kittens. Tammy made that stress go away with her wonderful service. She followed my instructions, checked on my cats twice a day which I opted for, always sent me text and photo updates every time she stopped by. Definitely would recommend her to anyone needing a pet sitter!
I could not find anyone else willing to take care of my odd collection of animals, and Tammy did a fantastic job! I also booked her on somewhat short notice. A very lovely and accommodating person who clearly cares about providing the best possible care to animals. My axolotls, snakes, and isopods all look fat and happy with her care. I will be booking her again in the future!
I am a very protective bird parent. My cockatiel, Skittles, and my parakeet, Starburst, have only ever been taken care of by me and my immediate family, so when my husband and I were due to get married over Memorial Day weekend, I was very stressed about finding someone whom I could trust to watch over them. I knew boarding services were an option, but I hated the idea of removing Skittles and Starburst from the comfort of their home and putting them in a new environment: I needed someone who could visit my home and care for them like how my family and I do every day. So when I heard about Tammy, her pet sitting business, and how she cares for her own bird, Tango, I knew she was going to be a great fit. Tammy and I worked out a deal where she would get the birds up in the morning, go take care of other clients during the day, come back in the afternoon to hangout with them, put them to bed in the evening and then stay overnight in the guest bedroom. Every morning, Tammy would give them fresh water and veggies, turn on the TV to the sounds of nature, and send me pictures with stories about how they were doing. Hearing that Skittles played peek-a-boo with Tammy for 15 minutes straight was heartwarming, and seeing a video of it was proof enough that the birds were comfortable with her. She was diligent with her work, kept the home tidy and clean, and when I was having issues paying her on Memorial Day, Tammy was kind enough to let me pay her the following day. All in all, Tammy did a wonderful job and I can’t recommend her enough for all types of pets, whether it be dogs, cats, or even little birds! I look forward to working with her in the future!
I reached out to Tammy because of her amazing reviews, and I'm so glad I did! Her kind heart and love for animals is clear from the moment you speak with her. She checked on our two cats daily while we were on vacation and sent photos with a sweet update every time she was there. We were in the process of moving and didn't have a broom at our house, so she brought her own to sweep up kitty litter! Rocky and Apollo look forward to hanging out with Tammy again during future vacations. 😻
If you have to leave your pet, it is so reassuring to know there are options to leave home with your pet safe because of Tammy. We have tried other traditional approaches to pet care, and now that we have Tammy, we know exactly where we will go first every single time. She is the most attentive pet caregiver, sending constant updates and photos, it was like we were home on vacation. We couldn’t be more grateful for her care and love to our Hoz. 🐾💙
Tammy was an awesome sitter for our kitties, so kind & kept us updated everyday how they were doing. She is a very highly recommended sitter for your furry family members!!
Tammy is the BEST pet sitter I’ve ever had! She makes leaving my fur babies that much easier. I never worry about them when Tammy is caring for them. They get all the love, food, and attention they want! I was even delayed a day due to weather and flight cancellations, and Tammy came on an unscheduled day! She loves all animals and it shows! Highly recommend!
Tammy was everything you would want in a professional pet sitter. She was responsive, dependable and respectful of the pets’ directions. She took time to send pictures of the pets and gave updates. It is obvious she loves animals. I would highly recommend.
I can’t say enough good things about Paws for Fun and the incredible team there. As someone who has been navigating being homeless while searching for an apartment after eviction due to a domestic violence situation with both a dog and a cat, (and 3 teenage boys) they have truly been lifesavers. They’ve gone above and beyond for my animals, offering a safe and loving environment when I couldn’t afford pet deposits at hotels or couldn’t bring them with me. My pets are my family and the thought of having to surrender them to a shelter was too unbearable. They stepped up. Unlike other places that might just put pets in a cage, Paws for Fun took the time to know my pets. They cared about their individual personalities, likes, and dislikes, and they made sure both of them felt loved and comfortable. My dog, Bash, absolutely loves going there now and playing with other dogs—something I never thought possible. When we first started, he couldn’t even be around male dogs, but thanks to their thoughtful socialization efforts, he’s come so far. He plays in large groups of all breeds with both males and females now! What blows me away the most is their generosity. They’ve cared for my pets around 30 times and have never turned me away when I couldn’t afford to pay right away. I don’t have any other truly generous, positive experiences from any local businesses during one of the hardest times of my life. Their compassion, professionalism, and genuine love for animals are unmatched. You can tell just how much each and every employee there loves animals and I can’t speak for everyone but both of my pets absolutely love everyone there! They have even read my big 120lb Great Dane/pit mix bed time stories! They actually spend so much time playing and bonding with your pets! I’m forever a supporter of this business. They changed my life. They gave me hope when I had none left and no one to turn to. If you’re looking for a place where your pets will not only be well cared for but truly loved, Paws for Fun is it. They’ve made an immeasurable difference in our lives, and I’ll forever be grateful. A special thank you to Peggy, AJ, Mariah, Pam, Travis, Amber, Emilie, & Aiyana. I know I’m missing a few names but each and every one of y’all have a special place in my heart seeing how excited Bash gets when he sees you all. Thank you from The bottom of my heart. You will never understand what you did for us.
We have been to Paws 4 Fun many times now to rent both the indoor and outdoor pools! The staff and manager are always extremely nice and accommodating with having toys, towels and life jackets! I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a fun activity for their pup, as they also have indoor play rooms you can personally rent as well!
A fun place to spend time with your dog. I'm so glad they sell Dogurt and have swimming pools indoors and outside. The staff are always friendly and helpful!
Paws 4 Fun is amazing! It's a wonderful place to bring your fur baby here to enjoy play time and all the extra services with your pup in mind! It's safe and loads of fun!
This place knows dogs! My maltipoo acclimated on day 1 and loved the attendants. Scott and his team trained our very strong pit bull mix rescue with a huge prey drive ( chases trucks and deer) to walk nicely without pulling: which was the goal! The play sessions allow him to get out his energy - and he has doggy friends!!!! This is a great place for dogs and their owners!!!
They always take excellent care of our dog. Able and willing to take last minute reservations. Friendly smiling and knowledgeable staff. Easy to book boarding and services from your phone.
Brought my beautiful 1 year old pure breed pit to this prison ONCE. I get a call saying he was in a “fight” but no marks nothing wrong. I get back theres a hole the size of a quarter, taken from his leg. He's been sick ever since i got him back from this dog prison. Some staff are cool but for the most part it looks like no one is actually doing there job. An yes he's gone to other places an was just fine had no problems an wasn't sick……. Dont see how you could possibly miss this……
Been going here for 2 years and they LOVE Caring for my Cavi, "SAVI"! SAVI Loves going to Paws 🐾 to see her Friends 🧡 She has a regular group she plays with and they are like her! They groom her when needed while she's there, and it's Affordable! …
***PET OWNERS BEWARE*** I am really disappointed with the quality of care provided for my dogs at this place. When I picked them up from boarding there for a week the first thing I noticed was how bad the building and my dogs smelled. I found lots of scratches and red areas like they had been bit and had been sleeping on concrete the whole time they were there. No one told me they had been hurt and now I’m having to take them to the vet they both have infected wounds and one has an abscess. No one responded to my calls or cared at all. Sad to think my pups were being taken care of and they were actually being neglected
Always a great experience. Very reasonable pricing, in-house training, and knowledgeable staff. Rover loves it! Just say "daycare" and he starts shaking...lol
max loves going to get his hair cut and seeing the crew ar Bailey’s! most who know max know he doesn’t love much! but all i have to say is let’s get your hair done and he is ready to go every time. thanks guys for making his day!!!
The receptionists up front know my dog and I by name and get so excited to welcome him for daycare! He loves going in. They also monitor and work well with shy dogs and make sure to relocate them to smaller rooms/“dinky daycare” if they believe it’s what the dog needs. I Always trust them with my best buddy’s needs and health.
Firstly, I want to mention that our puppy is fully potty trained and typically sleeps through the night without issue. However, when my husband picked him up on his first day at Bailey's, our puppy immediately urinated indoors for an extended period. This was concerning, as it suggests that he may not have been given sufficient opportunities to relieve himself during the day. Additionally, despite providing food and informing the staff to feed him at noon, we were told upon pickup that our puppy was "uninterested" in eating. However, none of the food we provided had been touched, which raises questions about whether proper care and attention were given to his feeding. I also had a few questions during our puppy's stay and attempted to contact Bailey's by phone. Unfortunately, both times I called, the calls were answered by an answering service, seemingly outsourced, that was not located on-site. The individuals I spoke with were unable to provide any helpful information and referred to the report card as a "postcard," which was quite confusing. When I tried to provide feedback via email, I used the email address listed on your website, only to have the message bounce back with the reason: "Address not found." This suggests that the contact information provided on your site may be outdated or incorrect. We were initially told that we would receive a report card on the same day detailing how our puppy's day went, but it did not arrive until the following day. When we finally received a video, it showed our young puppy interacting with adult dogs who did not seem interested in playing with him. We observed several instances where our puppy appeared nervous as the other dogs crowded around him. In response, staff used a spray bottle as a form of punishment, which is a method that can potentially create fear and aggression in dogs. Additionally, during the video, one of the employees was heard saying "Beat him" (or possibly "Eat him") twice to another dog that our puppy was attempting to play with, which was quite disturbing. Overall, our experience at Bailey's was disappointing, and we are concerned about the care and environment provided to our puppy during his stay. Based on this experience, we will not be returning to Bailey's in the future.
Baileys staff is very caring for pets and their parents. The report card thoroughly described Gracie’s visit!
Love Baileys daycare and grooming! We have been taking our Husky Jamison to daycare since he was a pup!! They always remember him and are excited to see all the fur babies! Our old groomer stoped taking big dogs sadly! But we loved Baileys groomer! It was cheap in my eyes but she did amazing!!! We love Baileys highly recommend!!
We had our dog Lexi boarded and groomed. She seemed well taken care of but whoever did her grooming did a FANTASTIC job. She is double coated and it’s been almost a month and there still isn’t much to comb out. Kudos to your team!!
We can drop in for a quick nail trim and know we will receive excellent customer service! I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
We were looking for an in home visits for our cats and called Bailey’s. They showed up on time and took down all the relevant info including somethings we never thought of. Where are the cat carriers, what vet do you use in case of accidents. We feel good about leaving our cats in Bailey’s care.
Daisy had her first full haircut at Bailey's yesterday and we are very happy with the way she turned out. Isn't she just adorable? Everyone was super nice and we will definitely be back!
Made an appointment 6 months ago to get my dog groomed. The appointment was to be in 10 days and they called to cancel! No offer to reschedule at a priority! Stated they had no idea when I could make another appointment. We have used their service before - no more!
The staff members were very pleasant and thorough. I felt very comfortable leaving our dog, Nala, for boarding and grooming while we were on vacation. We loved being able to see what she was up to on the camp cameras. This is the first time that we used Camp Bow Bow, and we will definitely bring our puppy back! 😊 …
Camp Bow Wow in Lincoln is a premier facility and this is evident from the moment you walk in the door. I've always found the staff to be pleasant and helpful. Paul and Riley are the team leaders I normally see up front and they are always helpful and engaged. I love the fact that my dogs are not in kennels all day, but out playing with other dogs in areas that let them go in and outside willingly. Any dog that stays at Camp Bow Wow must interview initially to make sure that they play well with other dogs. The small hurdle is absolutely worth it because it ensures the safety of each of my dogs in a group setting. Three of my dogs are geriatric and require med several times a day. In canvassing other facilities in the area I learned that many charge for each administration of each medication. That could really add up for me as a multiple dog owner and I appreciate that Camp Bow Wow is willing to go that extra mile and not charge for it. The value here is immense. The Play yards for the dogs are divided by size and weight and I love that because I have dogs ranging in size from 4 lb to 130 lb. My Chihuahua Stuart Little loves going to camp and get so excited when he knows we're coming across the railroad tracks. He has a great day playing with other dogs. You can watch your dogs on camera here! That peace of mind is so important for me. I did not see this benefit at any other kennel I researched. One of my dogs is a retired service dog. I only groomed him myself until my physical limitations prevented it. I have never let anyone else touch him until I found Camp Bow Wow. The groomers there are so sweet and compassionate! Sherman comes home refresh and happy and I know that he had a good experience based on that behavior. This week, Lincoln Nebraska experienced what they classified as a category 2 hurricane. It was so comforting to know that the dogs there were safe and cared for. In a conversation with Tom, one of the owners, I learned that the outdoor play yards are secured with 8-ft fencing that is concrete reinforced. There was no damage! If you were considering boarding or daycare or grooming this is the place to go. The value here is unparalleled and the safety precautions provide an overwhelming reassurance. They have an app that makes the process completely seamless and I encourage you to download that get your information in there and try them out. You'll be glad you did.
Was the best ever meet and greet with the staff and her new puppy friends!!! Will definitely keep up her amazing time there again so she continues to grow and make more puppy friends!!!
We have been taking our 2 dogs to Camp Bow Wow in Lincoln for years, and they LOVE it! As soon as we turn onto the street where Camp is, they start getting excited to get out of the car because they know where they are going. It is so awesome to drop them off & not worry about if they are being taken care of & loved. Knowing our dogs love to go to Camp makes it so much easier for our family to go out of town and enjoy ourselves because we know our dogs are having a blast. The owners are knowledgeable dog lovers & keep the facility immaculate. This is the best place ever for dogs for a day or for a week. Thanks Camp Bow Wow! Margaret and Cleopatra are waiting by the door for the next time they can come to Camp!
I love Camp Bow Wow. There is always someone in the room watching the dogs, and I can watch them from any computer or my phone. What an awesome place!
The value you get for their services is phenomenal! When I picked my boy up the person ahead of me said that they'd been coming her for 10 years! Plus the customer service is stellar as well!
They care about the pups so much. My Misty pulls me in the front door. She never looks back and comes home tired after a full day of play. I love the cameras.
Tipped themselves then when I commented she lied and said the transaction was Voided and charged me again.. she voided her personal invoice never voided the actual payment now I’m disputing it with my credit card company it could take up to 90 days to get my money back and now my poor little girl is sick with Canine cough and I’m stuck with a vet bill 💔
Our experience with Camp Bow Wow has been amazing!! The owners Tom & Colleen in Lincoln are terrific, professional and always friendly. It's obvious they love what they do. Oh, and my dog loves his days there too. Thanks to Colleen, Tom & your caring staff.
We love camp bow wow but not as much as our dog, Otto, does. Just mentioning the word camp gets him jumping for joy. The staff is very friendly and seems passionate about their jobs. Otto has been to daycare, boarding, and training classes at camp bow wow and gives it all a big tail wag of approval. We highly recommend camp bow wow
My puppy really loved going to WOOF! The staff is friendly, and I appreciate that they have a separate yard for small breeds. However, I wish they had an app or online reservation service. It's really inconvenient to call them every time I need to make a reservation, especially as a foreigner whose first language is not English. This might not be a problem for others, but it is for me. When she was younger and not familiar with other people and furry friends, WOOF really helped her socialize. Although I couldn't see how she was doing there due to the secured playground and the lack of videos or photos, it seemed they treated her very well. She would wag her tail and even pee with excitement when she saw the WOOF staff, which she had never done before! I'm not sending her to WOOF right now because of the hot weather and because I prefer spending fun time with her myself. However, I will be a loyal customer when the semester starts and if they open an online service. Overall, even though it's a bit disappointing that there's no online reservation system and no way to see how she spent her day, I really like their kind staff and environment.
Knoxville Loves going to Woof!!! He comes home tired and content. The socialization this gives him is Amazing
We brought our dog here when she had some very concerning stomach issues while we were in Lincoln on vacation (we live in Indiana). They were very busy and we had a long wait to be seen, but once we were in the exam room the vet was very thorough, asked a lot of questions, and listened to our explanations and concerns. All of the staff were kind and gentle with our nervous dog, and the final bill was far less expensive than we were expecting, even with x-rays and blood work. We were very thankful that our dog was able to get emergency treatment without the emergency pricetag.
I have been taken my puppy Motley there since he was able to go and they have been nothing short of amazing! The staff is great and very caring. I decided to do the 6 week puppy training since motley was familiar with the building and staff and it was definitely the right decision. I can tell they work with him and his training even when he’s at daycare, I picked him up last week and he just knew how to shake!! They will even send him home with new toys or treat bags or coupons for nail trims! We are so appreciative of Woof! I HIGHLY recommend them!
I just got off the phone with Bree and she is amazing. Amazing customer service made me feel really welcomed. I can’t wait to bring my pup there soon. I called another boarding facility and they were extremely rude to me on the phone and told me they didn’t except anybody from Omaha so having this phone call just made my day thank you again and I can’t wait to bring my pup here
I boarded my 2 huskies (1 an escape artist) for a week and could definitely say the staff took good care of them. I am currently in the middle of planning a 3 week trip and I already know who to go to! I highly recommend them!!!!
We toured Woof while looking for a new place to board our corgi, and were so impressed with the facility. Very clean throughout, roomy kennels, and lots of indoor and outdoor play areas. The day we brought our dog in for boarding, the staff at Woof were so kind and helpful. They are all very knowledgeable about dogs and you can tell they really care about them. It's always hard leaving our little buddy behind when we take trips, but I left Woof reassured he was in good hands. So glad we've found our new go-to boarding service!
I have a new family pet. She is 4 1/2 months old. In preparation for vacations, we took her into Woof Doggy Day Center for an evaluation for overnight stays. My husband dropped her off at 12, noon and was advised to pick her up at 3:00pm. The manager told him when he picked her up that there was a "miscommunication." She had not been evaluated. Instead she was placed in a holding room and forgotten. No one checked on her while we were gone; no one entered the room until he came to pick her up. This is a doggy day care center. If this is an indication of how they care for animals, I strongly advise to never trust this center with your pets.
I boarded my French Bulldog for 3 days and am very pleased with the service that I received and the care of my dog. He went outside several times a day and even had an hour of play time outside daily as part of the basic charge. He was definitely happier and less stressed than when I have taken him other places that don't have "outdoor" time or space available. Thanks to the great staff at Woof!
We were just visiting the vet in the same building, but I walked back and watched the K-9's playing in the indoor play rooms (hot day). They were having a ball! Ten or fifteen dogs in each room were carousing like they were at the local dog park. The Burmese poodle mix was adorable.
My dog is turning 4 on April 18th and has been routinely taking classes with Dian since she was a puppy. She is the real deal! Dian has helped us make so much progress over the years. They provide a huge variety of classes all throughout the day and evening. Additionally, their membership option gives you classes at a hugely discounted rate and access to privately rent their facilities for very low prices (something like $3/hr). My dogs love playing with their "outside toys" in the huge agility yard!
We ❤️❤️❤️ Kennl Inn. The staff are amazing — knowledgeable, kind and friendly. Mozzie is always a happy little guy whether I’m dropping him off or picking him up. And their training team, Diane, Rae and Echo, have taught me so much. Made me a better pet parent!!!
I am currently using their obedience classes for my pup. I am very impressed with the trainer and the facility and cleanliness of the facility. We will definitely be using Kenl Inn and their services again.
We have been bringing our 7 yr German Shepard Husky girl Mya for grooming and we will never go elsewhere. The team does an incredible job with deshedding and grooming. We can't say enough about the added services they provide with play time, nature hikes and just overall engagement with her. The boarding facilities are fantastic and when out of town we never worry about the care and attention she receives. The staff is always happy to see us, they do a wonderful job with communication. The super cute decorated dog cookies available are always going home with us too. Thanks for everything Kenl Inn!
My dogs love going here for grooming they always look so nice. Great day care if you need it and boarding too
We have used Kenl Inn for several years for both daycare and boarding for our schnoodle, Dusty. He always has a good time. The employees always take such good care of him. I would highly recommend Kenl Inn to anyone needing to board their dog or needing daycare
Sophie has stayed at Kenl Inn often, day care or if I’m out of town. This was a 4 day stay. I asked that her “caregivers” specifically note how well she seems to see and hear. No notes mentioned at all on her daily note reports. Some comments were so general, it seemed as if someone just filled out a few forms and had nothing to do with my dog. “Sophie loves pool season” tells me nothing. Two days said “it was a good day to be in the yard”. One day nothing was filled out except “complimentary sundae” without Sophie’s name and no concierge name or initial. I paid $60/day and expect better service. I have no idea if she received decent care. Sophie stays in a suite. She’s nearly 12 and not used to lots of dogs.
We love Kenl Inn. My pup gets excited when it’s daycare day! They are great for boarding and grooming as well.
We just moved back to Lincoln after being gone for 11yrs and we needed a daycare for our 6 month old fur baby. We have been very pleased with them and Rowan has been having lots of fun. When we turn down street that heads to Kenl Inn Rowan sits up in car and gets excited, I think he honestly knows when we turn on that street that is where we are going. He is very high energy and with going to doggy daycare it has helped burn that extra Puppy energy he has. Will definitely recommend and look forward to participating in some of their training classes soon. We also took our puppy to the dog park where it was really muddy and the next morning when we dropped him off for daycare they were able to get him for a grooming before we picked him up. He was very soft and smelled much better, highly recommend their groomer as well.
Did a field rent on a Sunday since most the time they don't really do daycare in the upstairs yard. Witch is what we needed for our dog reactive guy. It was worth the $7.39 for an hour of Letting him run around off leash and get his built up energy out.
We boarded our puppy, Benji, with Jackie at Peaceful Dog Leadership for 6 days while I recovered from surgery. Benji responded exceptionally well to Jackie upon meeting her, and I felt very comfortable during his stay. She sent updates, videos, and pictures throughout the week, assuring us he was in good hands. Afterward, she went above and beyond by personally returning him to our home to go over everything with our family. She even trained Benji to walk on our treadmill, which has provided me an alternative way to exercise Benji during my extended recovery. Jackie was very thorough to ensure we all understood and felt confident in the techniques she taught us. We've continued to see improvements in Benji and feel confident in our skills to correct any unwanted behavior. We highly recommend Jackie and Peaceful Dog Leadership for boarding and training.
Setting up training sessions with Jackie was such a good decision. I have a mini goldondoodle dog who was traumatized by something and would randomly get aggressive because of being afraid of so many things including people and other dogs. I was about to rehome her because I was out of ideas of what to do. It was really stressful for me and my dog.Than I found Jackie and met with her. She is teaching me a lot about how to be a leader my dog can trust. My dog Willow has come a long ways. She is starting to become less fearful of things and I am hopeful with time that a lot of her fear will go away. I would highly recommend her to anybody who is struggling with there dog. She gave me hope my dog could change and has taught me so much.
Jackie was so great at teaching us strategies to help our beagles learn they were not the Alphas of the house by using peaceful leadership techniques. Love that she comes to your house so you can get very specific help with situations, as well as she met with us at Holmes Lake park and Southpointe mall, as one of our pups is leery of strangers. Highly recommend and will use again if new situations arise!
I am going to chime in, too, even though it was my daughter's dog that had struggles. Among other behavior problems, the dog was aggressive - snarling, growling, and ready to attack any stranger. My daughter had tried so many things and other trainers and was not getting anywhere. Then the Lord showed us Jackie and we decided to give her a try knowing that if this didn't work, we'd need to rehome the dog and start all over with another one. Fast forward 2 months: we went to a garage sale with all sorts of strangers including big, burly men and all our dog did was sniff at their heels. There was no negative behavior at all. We are more than grateful. Thanks, Jackie. Janna B.
Jackie's calm demeanor and patience put our anxious little dog at ease within less than 10 minutes of her arrival for the initial consultation. She readily shared her knowledge and expertise to teach us skills to communicate better with our dog. We are looking forward to the upcoming training sessions to learn the Peaceful Dog Leadership approach. The fees are very reasonable and definitely a great investment. We highly recommend Jackie and her approach to dog training.
Jackie did amazing at teaching us the skills and knowledge to improve our dogs behavior and quality of life. She went above and beyond to make sure we understood and felt confident in the skills she taught us. We have continued to see a great improvement in our pets and in their interactions with each other and with us. I highly recommend her.
Jackie has a way with all kinds of dogs. They immediately respect her and, in short order, learn to follow her direction. I have learned a great deal working with her — especially in understanding why and how dogs react to other dogs or unfamiliar situations, and what I need to do in response. Jackie provides highly individualized and trustworthy training, focused on the specifics of both the owner and dog. Peaceful, calm leadership is at the center of what Jackie does and what she teaches. I highly recommend Peaceful Dog Leadership for both training and boarding.
Within a few minutes of our initial consultation, Jackie had our very energetic and large dog listening to her. She spent time coaching us on the first steps to helping us and our dog understand each other and advice on how to move forward. It was definitely worth the low initial fee and we'll almost certainly continue with training.
Jackie is an excellent trainer, very knowledgeable, and does a great job explaining her approaches. Being a leader for your dog seems very simple and straightforward after working with her. I am very impressed with the progress my boxer-mix puppy has made after only a couple sessions. Highly recommend!!
Worked with Jackie and in 1 hour we came so far with our dogs and ourselves. Our confidence is high and we have the tools to enforce good behavior in both my dogs. Highly suggest working with Peaceful Dog Leadership and intend to use some boarding and training in the future.
Scott has been with our family for 6-years. We have two dogs and two rabbits. Every work day in that time Scott has taken both Oliver and Scout for daily walks. Both our dogs love Scott, and he helps us ensure they get all the activity they need, as often our lives have things that preclude us from being able to take the pups on a mid-day walk. When we are on vacation, Scott also stops in to feed the bunnies and check on the house. Scott is a trusted person, we trust him with helping out our lives, we trust him with our home, and he delivers an unparalleled level of customer service. Would absolutely recommend. Scott is a professional you can trust.
We’ve had Critter Sitters walking our pups for more than 5 years now, and it’s been a fantastic service. The pups love their walks with Scott so much that even if we’re going to be home, we don’t bother canceling. Highly recommend.
Scott has been walking my Dobermans for twenty years. He built a relationship with my dogs and they look forward to seeing him. He walks on a regular basis and has also helped when I have been out of town. He is trustworthy and most importantly the dogs approved! I
I started using Critter Sitters in February 2024. I have really enjoyed the pet service. Scott has been friendly, accommodating and very responsible with my pets. I have an elderly dog who does not board well and is nervous around other dogs, so I wanted a home pet sitting service. I travel a lot and being able to leave my pets at home where they are more comfortable is such a piece of mind. I would suggest this service to anyone who prefers to leave their pets at home and to be cared for by a trusting pet sitting service while away. Melinda Booth
I recently had to leave my precious pup in Lincoln for almost 5 months while on an extended trip. During that time CritterSitters (Scott) and CritterClippers (Cassie) did a wonderful job taking care of her, with several walks each week and grooming every month or so. Scott and Cassie were gentle, caring and patient with little Sophie. They were also reliably on time/schedule and I could count on them to be there as planned. Always professional, reliable service - my pup couldn't have been happier and my mind was at ease knowing Scott and Cassie were on the job!
I know I am anxious to have Scott's. Service stop by ,hook the Boys up twice a week! , But the boys are. Beyond excited, they actually start watching and listening for him and off they go! Such an amazing service for so many years! Many Thanks!
I've used Critter Sitters now probably >5 times for all of my fur babies. I currently have 2 dogs and 4 cats. They've always done a great job, are professional and easy to communicate with. We were recently in FL and flight got cancelled due to hurricane Ian. I messaged Scott and he was able to continue service several more days until I could get back. Knowing my animals were being well cared for was a huge relief during an already stressful time. I highly recommend.
I have used Critter Sitters of Lincoln for at least 10 years. They take such good care of my kitties. I've been gone as long as two weeks and always come home to happy kitties, an orderly house and a daily diary of each visit. I know my babies are loved in my absence.
I had my dogs groomed with Critter Sitter. They showed up in a timely manner. My dog appeared happy before and after her grooming. The last time we had her groomed, I was asked where the second dog was immediately upon her arrival. My daughter was bringing her dog for a grooming but I assumed I was paying for my dog’s hour of grooming. The groomer told me she could do both dogs at the same time yet I was being billed for my dogs hour. This plus the price increase and not even getting a single bow or barrette or anything I thought was was less than I get with a different groomer.
They are awesome! I never have to worry if my pets are safe when we are away. It's great to be able to leave them in the comfort of our home and know that they're being taken care of. The sitters are great with our animals! :)
We left our 10-year-old bulldog there for a two-night stay, and when we picked him up, we were horrified to find his entire underbody soaked and smelling strongly of urine. It was clear that his area hadn’t been cleaned properly, and it seemed he had to sit or lay in his own pee for at least a night. When we brought this up with the staff, they were not apologetic and offered no explanation as to how this could happen. This lack of accountability is alarming, especially when it comes to the care of our beloved pets. I’ve since tried to reach out via email and even called Polaris Veterinary Clinic to speak with the owners, but I’ve received no response. This level of neglect is unacceptable, and I cannot recommend Trude's Dog Motel based on our experience. Please think twice before leaving your furry friends here.
My dogs do not like being kenneled. However, Trude's is the only place I've found in Lincoln that they will settle into a routing, eat, and not be overly stressed. The rooms are large enough for both my dogs (German Shepherd & Doberman) to share. The staff takes extra care to help my dogs feel comfortable by spending time with them. There is a nice large yard area for them to run and play in as well. The rooms are indoor/outdoor and heated or cooled depending on the weather.
Tried this as the reviews generally looked good, but... I had my dog stay for 3 nights. On pickup he seemed reasonably happy (not lethargic, not overly yappy, just normal happy to see me) There were no visible issues, I've had him stay at other places before where he pawed at the door until his paws had some scratches, but not here. He does seem reasonably tired, as in he probably didn't sleep that much there, but that's also normal for him being away from me. The thing that bugs me is the day I picked him up, he went to pee right when we went outside, and he peed for about 3 mins, some of it was a tinkle, and some a stream, but just the amount of time he did that seemed extremely long, and it also seemed uncomfortable (the tinkle parts in between), he never had that issue before. Additionally, after we drove to the office, he took a huge dump (he's a big dog, and I needed 2 bags to get it all), which also took a long time... So, with that behavior, I have to conclude that he probably didn't get to poop yesterday, so for around 24h (normal is about 2-3 times a day), and he didn't get to pee for more than 12h (he is fine holding it for a long time, but there are limits), which then makes me question what the last time was he got to go for a walk... regardless that time must have been too long ago. There was another review talking about the same thing. I will add, that if your dog is fine doing it's business within their confined space, this may be a non issue, but for my dog that's not an option. Long story short, because of the lack of potty opportunities, this kennel will sadly be at the bottom of my list for future trips.
Our dog seemed to have a good time here. The rates were affordable and services very accommodating. The drop off and pickup were very easy and the location was minutes from our house on the way out of town for vacation. We'll definitely be back for when we want to board again.
From what I could tell Melissa was well taken care of...I know she is a handful
We arrived at 4:00 on Sunday, March 17 to pick up our dog because we had somewhere to be at 5:00. We waited for 20 minutes, along with about 10 others, for someone to come and open the kennel. Needless to say, we didn't make our event at 5:00. Very disappointed.
Very satisfied! First time I boarded our dogs here and they came home tired and healthy. I called daily to check on them, but realized I didn't need to do that, I would trust them with your dogs. Also VERY reasonable. Great employees. Highly recommend.
Absolutely love taking our Black Lab and Bulldog to Trudy's. They are always amazing there and our dogs never seem like they are stressed out or sick when we get them back. It's like they never noticed we were even gone because they get such good attention and have room.
Staff was very nice and seemed to really try and go above and beyond. what I did not realize is that the last time the dogs are taken outside for potty break is around 6-7pm. The next outside break is in the morning when the staff gets back in around 7am. That is just not acceptable to not have them outside for 12 hours. I asked about this and was told by the staff that most dogs end up using the bathroom in the run and they just clean it up in the morning. I immediately pulled my dog out of this location. The location did look clean and was a very generally dog boarding center with runs that were fenced in. Dogs were able to go inside and outside in their run.
Trude was awesome. She called all her dogs her babies. Haven’t been there for sometime now. Barney our St Bernard and Sam our schnauzer loved it. I liked that Trude made sure that all the dogs were up to date on their shots. The dogs always got excited when we turned into Trude’s dog Motel.
UP has a great doggie daycare program that I would highly recommend! Dogs are kept in playgroup sizes that are between 3-6 dogs so each dog is getting plenty of attention. They do enrichment activities, let the dogs play with toys, and have a nice outside green area for the dogs run around in. Also love how friendly the staff is and how chilled out my dog is (I have a crazy Jack Russell) after going there.
I couldn't be happier with uplifting Paws. My dog Chloe is reactive and with the help of Grayson she is in a much better place. She now walks well on a leash and listens. I am still working on somethings with her but I couldn't have done it without the training and tools I learned from Grayson. I definitely recommend!!!
I would highly recommend Uplifting Paws. Liz and her team are awesome. I have a very anxious dog but needed boarding while my family traveled. To prepare for the boarding and to get my dog more comfortable, we did private training. I learned a lot more than previous private training had offered me. Every time we went to the building, staff were friendly and happy to engage. They knew how anxious my dog was around strangers and really went out of their way to accommodate. The facility is well-maintained and a lot of space for dogs. I received daily updates and pictures. And when my dog had a “breakthrough” I received an excited text from staff. Cannot recommend Uplifting Paws enough.
I am a young adult and first time solo dog owner in Lincoln. I LOVE this place. My dog loves this place. He looks forward to running in every time we pull into the parking lot. I started my puppy's obedience classes with them and they were nothing but accommodating to his needs and his learning style. I also take my dog to day care once a week (with the super affordable daycare package) and he can't wait to go every week. He makes friends AND gets training all while I can go to work. You even get a report card at the end of the day with reports on how his day went. Owners and staff are amazing. I absolutely could not recommend them higher. They are the best!
My dog has only been for daycare here once so far, but I could not be more impressed. I had tried another daycare in Lincoln and was disappointed by the lack of transparency about my dog’s day & my dog’s behavior when I picked him up. But Uplifting Paws… man, I’d rate them 100 stars if I could. They added updates to their portal throughout the day, giving me peace of mind knowing that my dog was getting attention & being taken care of. My dog was thrilled to see me at pickup (separation anxiety) but he was also completely calm and content around the employees—not terrified I was going to leave again. They provide information about your dog’s day, and you can just tell that these employees really love the dogs that stay with them & care about their wellbeing. We will definitely be back, and I will be recommending Uplifting Paws to all of my friends!
We have been taking our boy to UP for a couple months now, and just boarded him for the first time. We have been so impressed, and Otto LOVES it. He knows right in the morning when we’re getting ready to go and sprints to the car. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a daycare/boarding. We’re hoping to start training in the near future!
I started with my XL dog going to their various dog obedience/training classes. Their professional expertise, gentle nature and caring attitude quickly won both “Bean” and me over!! They know their stuff. And they share resources beyond training...tips on grooming, food, best treats, dog enrichment and more. They personalize training, doggie day care, etc to each dog. Bean and I have become a certified Therapy Team through Uplifting Paws. We love it! And we love UP.
Came in looking to get my dog into obedience classes, was told that she could be added into the July classes and that I’d be contacted. Weeks go by and nothing. I called five times throughout the week classes were supposed to start and kept being told they’d get in contact with me. DAY OF and still nothing. I live a good distance away and can’t make that drive without knowing if I would get in or not. Told AGAIN that I would be contacted to get into the next class. Another week, and still no contact. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful of my time and money. Will not be coming back.
We love Uplifting Paws. Ellen is a great coach and Watson loves her too
My dog required two separate vet visits after attending daycare here. Once for kennel cough (something he’s vaccinated for), then for a serious limp he came home with. Neither were brought to my attention by the daycare, and upon calling to see what might’ve happened to his paw, no one returned my call. Needless to say, wouldn’t recommend.
