We love Smiths Dog Lodge! Our boy Oakley is always so excited to visit and we know he is in the best hands. I don’t ever have to think twice or worry about leaving him because of the awesome care and environment with Smiths. It’s been a life saver for us to have that peace of mind. Everyone is super kind and the communication is easy and prompt. We have used boarding from one night up to several days, as well as day care services. I would never want to take our boy anywhere else!

Our dog Max has been going to Smith Dog Lodge for 9 years now it’s one of his favorite places! It’s the one place I can’t control him on his leash because he is just so excited to arrive! We recently moved an hour and a half North but are choosing to bring Max to his favorite vacation spot back in Monument this summer at the Smith Dog Lodge!! The only reason I wouldn’t leave a review here is to keep this place all to ourselves… but I have to post this. If nothing else - for the dogs out there. Nancy and her son Canaan are the dog whisperers. The whole place is set up for the benefit of the dogs. The pups have their own kennel w their bed. They have a play yard and a field to run in. They are on a routine. Play. Fed. Naptime. Just like home. The dogs are screened and all fit in w the pack for playtime. When I picked Maggie up - she was happy. Healthy. Calm. Zero anxiety. It really is amazing. Thank you Smiths Dog Lodge. There is no place like this out there - what a gift.

Our Great Pyrenees loved his stay at Smith's Dog Lodge and was well taken care of with lots of space to roam! This is a fantastic place if you need to board your dog, especially for large breeds.

My dog’s first visit was great. He had a warm and fun environment and I didn’t have to worry. I sent an email about how he was adjusting and was quickly reassured he was adjusting to their routine and the other dogs.

Smith Dog Lodge is amazing!! I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a place who treats your furry family like there own while you are away or for Boarding and Daycare! I thought pick up for Daycare dogs started at 3:30 pm and I have been taking my fur baby Kodi there for almost a year. My husband went to pick up Kodi at 3:30. He spoke with James, the owner. It was a muddy, wet day. James stated very kindly that Daycare pick up starts at 4:00 pm. Kodi was muddy and not quite ready, but James was more than willing to get Kodi even when it was inconvenient to them, while my husband waited. This is totally my fault and I have, many times come to pick up Kodi early and the staff has never said a word. They would just get Kodi and wish us a great rest of your day. I'm AMAZED that no one mentioned to me that pick up hours started at 4:00 pm!!! I now know pick up hours AND I realize coming early was inconvenient to them but never knew because they would just get him and wish us a great rest of your day. That's incredible to me and says volumes about them! "Smith Dog Lodge" has always gone above and beyond in a professional and with genuine kindness with any situation! Kodi "RAN" today to see everyone. That was a first! Thank you for helping Kodi with his socialization skills!! I will recommend anyone to your amazing business. I never worry about Kodi. Our 10 month old golden doodle had never been boarded or around many dogs...the staff at Smith's Dog Lodge were incredibly professional! Getting our pup acclimated through the tour, they thoroughly assessed his demeanor to make sure he would be comfortable staying there. The staff's experience, knowledge and insight made me certain our pup was in the best of hands. Their attention to detail on any of his specific needs was exceptional. There is no one else I would trust taking care of our Copper.

The team at The Smiths Dog Lodge are "just special" and really care about your dog! It's a gift they have and I believe James has a "specialness for dogs" like no other! They took care of our first Bernese Mountain Dog, Whisper's second family. He visited the Smith's weekly for daycare and multiple boarding days/weeks in his 8 years! We have a new Bernese Mountain Dog and she came to us at age 2 and there was no one else to trust her with but the Smith's! She loves it there and I am never stressed about her safety or well-being! We have been prepping her for some upcoming boarding and the entire Smith's Dog Lodge Team are excellent to work with! The Best Place For Your Dog, Paws Down!!

Love this place for my pup! Owners are very easy to communicate with and efficient in their communications, which I appreciate. Affordable and my dog loves it. :) There are separate areas for big dogs and little dogs, which means different “play” equipment and such. I love that their place offers open space and lots of outside time! It’s like a vacation for my pup! Would highly recommend.

I used to bring my dog for play dates more than a year ago when she was younger. The smiths were good about screening her and kept meticulous health records. It was so nice to pick up a tired played out dog. My dog was going so much that she was starting to show dominance issues. The owner picked up on the behavior quickly and we took a break from daycare and now have other arrangements. I can’t speak to recent events but in my instance I do feel the owner was proactive particularly since I have a breed that can become dog aggressive.

We are new to Camp Bow Wow, but have great experiences so far! The staff is always very helpful. Our doggies Bosco and Choco seem to enjoy it there. We just boarded them for the first time, so we’ll see how the pick up goes.

This pup could not love doggie daycare more. When I drop my dog off I feel like she is in the best hands and all the staff are so sweet.

I dropped my dog for a few days while my husband and I were out of town in March. I was able to view the live feed of my dog. When I picked her up, she had lost a noticeable amount of weight. I'm not sure if she was not being fed or she just wasn't eating. Either way, I wish I had gotten a call letting me know what was going on. We had an emergency contact but she was not called either. We recently went out of town again and we did not take our dog here and probably will never take her back there again.

We have boarded our one year old with the Monument Camp Bow Wow twice for longer than 5 days and she comes home well cared for and tired from all her play time! The cameras allow us to watch her while we're gone. Great staff! We recommend this facility.

I’ve been using them consistently for my Frenchie for both daycare and boarding and they are great. My dog is so happy there and the nice staff up front are always excited to see him. Glad to know he has a home away from home when needed. My dog always comes home so tired so it’s a great place to socialize and get that energy out.

Apparently they spray the dogs with a spray bottle when others are taken out of there area so no one runs or sneaks out of the gate, that is how they handle it. So if you dont want your dog to be scared of water dont take them here clearly…. Dropped my dog off in the morning for half day daycare, told them his food was in his bag pre scooped and they needed to wet it. They said okay and even talked to me about how this would affect his playtime to prevent bloat and everything. Pick him up wet, smelling like pee, and his food unopened. If they attempted to feed him and he just didnt eat it It would be wet. No communication on what happened with the food and I had to later call and ask why he was wet (THEN they told me the spray bottle thing)

I love Camp Bow Wow in Monument, Colorado. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. Everything in and around the facility is sparkling clean. My dog, Charlie, is treated just like family.

My pupperoo loves going to camp! It tuckers him out and he is so happy when he comes home!

This place is amazing. We had a Foster dog that needed socialization. Camp bow wow and No Hound Unhomed Rescue realized our need and very generously stepped in To help us out. This is an amazing opportunity to help her find her forever home. I would not hesitate to take my dog there for A-day of fun and play. Trust me they come home worn out . Well worth the money!

Shelby is awesome! We left our two pups for the first time in 3 years and went out of the country. We really thought we were going to worry the whole time but after meeting Shelby and seeing how she interacted with our boys, we relaxed a lot. Getting multiple daily updates with pictures and details put our minds at ease. The dogs seemed relaxed as well, not sure they even noticed we were gone! :-) I highly recommend Shelby and will be using her to look after our pets from now on.

Shelby was great! Helped us out super last minute when we had to leave town. Our dog was well cared for and loved while we were away. She always ssnf pics and updates every visit, which makes being away from your pet a lot easier. Would recommend and use again!

Shelby did a fantastic job watching our 2 kitties, Morrison and Louie, while we were on vacation. She sent us timely updates each day accompanied by photos of each of our cats, which gave us great comfort knowing the kitties were in good hands. She was successful persuading our timid cat, Louie to eventually start trusting her upon her visits. Shelby has walked my dog a number of times. She is a very pleasant person who obviously loves dogs. Each time, Shelby provided photos and input on my dog’s behavior. I could not ask for a more caring or more trustworthy person to look after my dog. Her business is very professionally run and her communication is excellent! I would trust no one else!

Shelby was fantastic with us and our animals. The regular updates were such a relief and our dogs thoroughly enjoyed her company. Shelby was able to support us following a last minute cancellation and next time, we’ll book her first!!

Shelby was wonderful with our three pups! She stayed in touch with us throughout our time away from home with pictures/messages. We felt very comfortable leaving g our pups with her and we enjoyed our trip knowing they were doing well and were in good hands!

They are great the owners have been very accommodating and understanding with my circumstances and the employee that comes to care for my 2 dogs is great. My fur babies love her and look forward to seeing her. If your going out of town or have medical issues and need help with your animals give them a call and let them help you so you know they are cared for while your away. Seemed to start out ok but soon saw that he was not ever there for the amount of time I paid for. Maybe 10 minutes tops. I have moved on and requested my key back several times with no response from them. I would not recommend.

We are very fortunate to have found this company. We have used lucky pet for two vacations now and both times we ran into a situation and had to extend our stay and our service. Gary was extremely responsive and made sure our pup was taken care of. Both Jessica and Gary took care of our dog while we were away and it was a relief to be able to see pictures and updates. Our dog is a rescue and she would not do well at a kennel so having the comfort of knowing we could leave her at home in her surroundings and visits through out the day makes the service more than worth it!

They killed 3 of my frogs and never did anything about it. They lied about taking care of my small animals, they were never feed or gave water. Their food was never touched. They were paid to be there for 30 mins twice a day and were there 10 mins twice a day early in the morning and late at night. I will never use them again you shouldn't consider using them. They automatically took money from me and never paid me for the frogs I lost. I would give a negative number if I could. Horrible service

The company's employees failed to complete the terms of our contract. Sitters were supposed to come check on my cat for 15 minutes a day. Thankfully I was able to see them coming in and out of the house through my ring, because I saw that they were not staying anywhere near the 15 minutes. When I got home today, I found that the medicine that I requested be administered to my cat, was never given. I am so absolutely disappointed. I will happily never use this company again. Don't ever use them! This is your warning!

I am so, so grateful to have found Lucky Pet at Home! When I was in a bind, the owners really helped me out. They were so accommodating, and have been nothing but amazing every since. The care my pets receive from Brittney (and Gary too!) is beyond exceptional, and I feel as comfortable and safe with them in my home with my fur babies as I would with my own family. The online system is so convenient too. I can't say enough good about these wonderful people and their services, and I would recommend them to anyone!

While the people running the service are incredibly kind, my experience left a lot to be desired. I was able to book last minute for a month’s worth of services, so that was great. Updates on the pets are hard to come by and pictures of them are even harder. One of my cats is very good aggressive so I was really sure to give details instructions on how to feed them so that the food aggressive one didn’t wind up eating everything. Came back home to one of my cereal bowls and both of their bowls overflowing with dry food. The non food aggressive cat has lost quite a bit of weight while the food aggressive one has definitely gained weight. The litter boxes have definitely been cleaned at least once since I found a trash bag full of the old litter stuffed in my trash can. In the day since I’ve been back both cats have been sick all over my carpet due to the food situation (nonaggressive threw up after trying to eat too fast; aggressive one has been having diarrhea which tends to happen when she over eats). Not to mention I found one of my drinking glasses being used to measure out their food. The app is great in theory but rarely actually gets used.

We have been using LuckyPet services over the last year. They have been nothing but courteous, prompt and loving to all 5 of our animals. We highly recommend their services as they go above and beyond everytime! We always feel so great knowing they are taking care of our pets while we are away.

Business failed to fulfill service contract. Specifically, sifting/cleaning cat litter on a daily basis and topping off the fish pond. When we returned it was obvious that neither the litter nor the fish pond were attended to per our agreement. In addition the pet service employee was to spend 30 minutes twice daily to attend to these task but was observed spending as little as 5 minutes per visit. Lastly, given the poor service we requested our property keys be returned. Two weeks later after multiple phone calls and text requests--to the business owner--one of the two keys were returned. The second key was finally returned after another follow-up with the business owner. In summation, the trust I placed in this business to care for my pets was violated--which is unfortunate given the owner seemed sincere; however, actions are more telling than words. That said I cannot in good conscience recommend this business.

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect but Gary went above and beyond his services. I think he did such an amazing job caring for our cats, then finding them a wonderful new home! You will be forever in our hearts!! Thank you so much! ❤️

Everyone reading this, just know that you are hiring the best of the best. I have a husky and two kitties that are so loved and taken care of when we are out of town, because Vanessa is amazing! We have certain needs for our pets and Vanessa not only makes sure those are met, but goes above and beyond. Highly recommended! Be assured that your expectations for your pets are met, because she CARES. That is hard to find these days, but you just found it!

Vanessa is an excellent communicator and always responds promptly. Tracie has such a good energy to her and takes very good care of my dog! Very happy with the service and doesn’t break the bank!

When your puppy or grown dog, goes to Vanessa's house for daycare or overnight care, there are a number of things you can count on. 1. Your dog will be treated like a member of the family. Vanessa welcomes the dogs she cares for into her home and her family. 2. Your dog will become a member of a pack. Vanessa has 3 of her own dogs and screens all new dogs coming into that pack for compatibility. No mean aggressive dogs allowed! 3. Your dog will come home exhausted and happy! Vanessa offers lots of play time for the pups in her care. She even provides a kiddy pool to cool off in on hot days. Lots of play time and interaction with other dogs always guarantees a happy and content dog upon pickup. Vanessa came to my rescue after I brought home an energetic Australian Shepard. I work full time and was not able to give this new puppy the attention and exercise she needed. I started taking my pup to Vanessa's at about 5 months old 2 - 3 times a week. When I brought my pup home, she was quite content which made my training so much easier. I am very grateful to Vanessa and her kind and professional approach to taking care of other peoples fur babies.

Vanessa was a true professional that took care of our animals like they were her own. Dependable, trustworthy, and caring, she did an amazing job looking after our fur family. She updated us on our pets continously and even sent pictures! We have tried other pet sitters but Vanessa provides a level of service that is exemplary. We have found our go to pet sitter and truly appreciate her caring and compassion for our animals.

I am so happy I found Vanessa - she is a true professional! She is wonderful with my dogs and I love that she provides check-in reports, complete with photos. There are not enough words to describe the love and care that Vanessa and Nathan gave to our two dogs while in their care!! Vanessa has taken care of my pups many times, and our experiences with her have always been wonderful. She truly cares about the critters in her charge...we think she is amazingly flexible and responsible. And provides great value!

Vanessa is amazing and we feel very fortunate that our paths crossed. Our “Ellie” came from an abusive situation so she has trust issues with new people. When we recently relocated from another state to Colorado we knew it would be challenging finding the right connection to care for her while we are out of town. If we could have moved our FL doggy sitter with us it would have been nice, as there was much anxiety about finding a new caretaker. Vanessa has been nothing short of incredible. She drove up to our home and did three introductory visits prior to us going out of town. This was beyond our expectations and we were thrilled to see how Ellie took to Vanessa. Since then we have taken two trips out of town and Vanessa has been wonderful. Each and every day we received text messages giving us an update on Ellie, along with several pictures of ‘play-time’. It brought such peace of mind knowing that she was being well cared for, and in our home. We felt very connected the entire trip, and never worried. Typically when one boards their pet it is always comes with a sense of worry. However, this has not been the case with Vanessa. I always felt at ease, and excited when the next text message would arrive with a new daily update. Not to mention the fact that she goes above and beyond making trips during winter storms to ensure Ellies' needs were taken care of. From the moment you meet Vanessa you will see that she is compassionate about animals, excited about her work and always seems to have your pets care as her top priority.

Above the Clouds Pet Sitting was like having our dog stay over at our best friend's house. Very personal, intentional, loyal, and collaborative. Vanessa handled River with great care and affection at a time when she really needed it. Not only would we do it again, but we're already scheduled for the next visit.

Polly was absolutely awesome! We have a farm of animals (horse, chickens, dogs, cats) and have had difficulty getting a reliable pet sitter to care for our menagerie. Polly was prompt in daily communication and took the initiative to go above and beyond! Watering plants, gathering mail, picking up packages and even cleaning up after our furry friends - she did it all! We would recommend Pollywog's Pet Sitting without hesitation!!

She is seriously amazing! One of the best sitters I have had. She takes the time to make your pup comfortable. My dog like ice cubes in his water and she even puts a couple pieces in his water before she leaves. Every time I get home after she walks my dog he has a full bowl of water and it is clean! We have a lock that attached outside our door and she is always careful to make certain it is locked securely. Extremely pleased dog owner!

The best pet sitting experience that my wife and I have had. Very easy to deal with, administered our cat's medication (oral liquid), and gave us email/text updates. A+.

Our cat Bailey is very hissy she acts like a guard dog...but Polly handles her just fine.. We never worry about anything.

We used this service for our 4 big dogs (3 Newfoundlands and 1 elderly Lab). The dogs responded well and seemed quite contented when we came home. Will use this service again when we are gone for overnight trips.
