Abbi and Martin were fantastic house and pet sitters . They are very experienced at house sitting and their confidence showed through . They were reliable, organised , good communicators both before the sit and during . It was helpful to meet them both in person just before we departed for a weeks’ holiday . They were both very warm towards us and more importantly our 2 dogs and we left without a moments hesitation about leaving them in our home with our boys . It was evident from the pictures we received and how the dogs were upon our return that they had been well looked after and had lots of fuss, snuggles and walks . The house was also immaculate. Sue was the perfect house sitter. She used her time here to explore the area and took my dogs Darcy and Lottie with her in her car. They went somewhere different every day walking, and Darcy had plenty of opportunities to swim. Sue sent photos and videos of their adventures and it was clear that the dogs were having a brilliant time. It was immediately apparent that my dogs were confident and very happy in her care, and I'm in no doubt that they would love to see her again. Sue's visit coincided with a few days of warm, dry weather so she ensured the plants in pots in the garden were watered. The house was clean and tidy on my return. Sue had stripped the bed and washed and dried the bedding, towels and tea towels. There was nothing for me to do but enjoy the flowers she had left around the house and sample the delicious jam she made while here. It was an absolute pleasure having Sue at my home and she will be welcomed back by us all if she ever wishes to come back.

Conscientious and caring family with a love of all animals
Jennie & Alan house/ pet sitted with their daughter over the August bankholiday, which should have been a gorgeous summer weekend but storm Lillian had other plans. Jennie & Alan weren't phased by the weather which blew the bins over & lots of branches on the forest tracks but none of this stopped them enjoying days out & activities nearby. The house was lovely & clean on my return home with bed linen,towels all washed & drying- a few things out of place but Jennie was quick to messege me when I couldn't find things. The birds & cat seemed happy on my return & seemed well cared for in my absense- I appreciated some good photo's & updates on progress whilst away. I was pleased the house plants & greenhouse had been watered as guests often forget that duty. It's a pity we hadn't had an in- person contact handover at the start of the sit due to arrival timings but I sent video & written instructions to help them find everything & they where quick to ask if they needed local or other information. I'd happily have them to return sit & so glad their daughter enjoyed the pets & garden :)

Trustworthy, active retired couple looking forward to sitting your house and pet
Linda and Stephen took care of our house and dog from May 24, 2024 through June 9, 2024. They took great care of our dog, Zoe. They kept the house clean and even some of the outside area after a Moroccan sandstorm. Our only complaint was that they ignored our request to keep things where they found them. We told them when they arrived that we had sitters that moved things so much that we were still looking for things three weeks later. So they then went on to move glasses into different cupboards, rearranged pots and pans, and took out of the refrigerator, a water bottle with cut lemons in it that is used to take to chorus. After 18 days, the water was spoiled and had to be discarded.

Anna was an excellent sitter - she took great care to understand all of the intricacies of taking care of the house and cats, asked lots of questions, and arrived on time and ready for the sit. The best cat sitters ever! They loved our cats and spent so much time playing with them and making sure they were happy! We had photos and videos every day with funny little messages and we came home to two very happy, healthy cats. The house was spotless and they even washed the linen and towels! They left us some cute Easter presents and breakfast shopping in the fridge, as we were returning after a long flight. We would definitely recommend Michael and Jeanne to anyone and hope they will come back to Teignmouth in the near future. Thanks very much for looking after our beautiful cats and our home x

Kathy and Ron arrived at our home with a most fantastical toy for our cats and a giant apple pie. Need I say more? They are very experienced sitters and brought personal items that they prefer. We knew we were leaving out cats in good hands. A large part of their 'job' was hand watering our garden and Ron took that in stride. Everything is thriving. Our cats are usually distant with new people but we received photos of them keeping Kathy and Ron company in various situations which was reassuring. They clearly won our cats over. Although Ron and Kathy had a ferry to catch on their last day, they took time to wash their linens and hang them on the clothesline. They also left us a gorgeous plant for our garden. We would very much like to have them back for a longer sit if possible.

Oh wow! Everyone should be so lucky to have Nicholas and Veerle watch their house and pets. These lovely people are pros! They communicated early and often, were super accommodating to some last minute changes (it was originally going to be only our cats to watch but we decided to keep the dog home as well so that added to the schedule and care needs) and they left the house spotless and all set up for another sitter who came in after them. We didn’t get the chance to meet because my departure and arrival times but I dearly hope I get to in the future because they were just great! I even heard how nice they were from My neighbors who say them out walking our dog. :-) They also sent regular pictures of the pets which look like pro-photography! Cannot recommend this couple enough! Your pets and house will be in good hands!

Jenima is an excellent sitter! She is organized, communicative and flexible throughout the stay. We needed a sitter at the last minute because Jazz got sick, and Jenima saved us. We left a little worried about him, but Jenima took care of him really well and kept us informed. Cats love her! We definitely recommend her to take care of your pets!

Lindsey watched our cat and dog for a long weekend when we went out of town. She was a very communicative sitter sending frequent pictures and voice notes with updates. She did a great job of following their schedules and giving them attention. The animals seemed to be happy and relaxed when we returned home and I believe Lindsey enjoyed getting to discover all of the eateries our town has to offer. A win-win for everyone!

We couldn't have asked for better sitters than Pares and Mark. Since our initial contact, it was straightforward to communicate with Pares. We were lucky enough to get a chance to meet Pares with our dog Luna, and Luna got along with her immediately. During our time away from home, she kept us informed about how both our dog and cat were doing, and they were both cuddling with her since the first day. We got a lot of pictures and knew that they were safe and happy. The apartment was exactly as we had left it when we came back. Pares and Mark even ran the dishwasher and the washing machine for us. We couldn't have asked for a better sitter, and it made our trip very easy knowing they were taken care of so well. We'd have Pares and Mark back to our home without any hesitation.

Pennee and Bill were the BEST pet sitters and guests ever! I really wanted them to stay forever ! Our cat, Miss Kitty bonded so much to them, that she really wasn’t that happy to see me when I got home .Our cat is a finicky eater and they tried all different types of food and treats for her. They sent me regular photos of miss kitty and I knew everything was great when most of the pics had miss kitty on their lap. Our cat doesn’t take to many people but she immediately fell in love with them. Pennee sent us our mail and prescription meds on a regular basis , and went out of her way to take care of any issues . They fell in love with the neighbors and community and just made our lives so easy . We experienced the Covid 19 virus outbreak quarantine during this time and Pennee and Bill agreed to stay a month longer at our home . They were extremely flexible with their travel plans so that everyone would be safe. Upon our arrival home, we were greeted with a bouquet of flowers , beautiful hanging basket of flowers for outdoors and a beautiful bottle of wine . And our house had never been cleaner ! Bill and Pennee are a pet owners dream couple !I felt extremely lucky to have found such a great petsitter and new friend . We will be visiting each other in the future .
