Cat Sitters in Noverd, CA

My job has me travel alot. I recently moved from AZ to NV and I didn't have a pet-sitter for my tortoises. I needed to go to Ca for training and Terrell was very respectful when I first messaged him asking if he would watch after my pets for the day until I got out of work since I couldn't check into my hotel until later in the day, and ai didn't want to leave them in the car while I was at work. They pet-sit for dogs, do require proof of vaccines, and would appreciate at least a couple of days notice so they can rearrange their room for the other pets being boarded. The business is run from their home, and they allow the other dogs being boarded to roam with each other, so they aren't caged up in a kennel all day. The day I stopped by they were watching over a newborn puppy along with about 5 other adult dogs. In the past they have watched after birds, but he mainly specializes in dog care. However he will watch over mostly all pets with enough notice. Keep in mind this is a personal, and private pet care service not your typical big franchise or well known business therefore, it is not going to involve any paperwork, and you do pay by cash. In order to know the cost all you do is contact him via his website by researching the name of the business and the option to message him comes up. When I asked for a quote he was pretty responsive, I messaged him around 6:00pm as I was leaving that next day, he got back to me around 8:00pm. If I remember correctly you could also pick up your pet at 11pm as that is the time they close their doors for the business, but you may notice that they do get antsy if you tell them a time, and aren't there minutes before, so you may hear from them via text when time gets closer to the expected pickup time. Otherwise, they seem to care after the pets kindly and are open to following instructions on feedings, pet care, or medications if needed. Best of all they surprised me with a couple of images of my pets while I was at work, as you can see my male tortoise dirtied up his water soon after they gave it to him.

We are really thankful for TJ service. After a last minute call he accepted both our dogs and was patient enough for both. He updates us everyday, highly recommended.

I took my two dogs to Tj's All Per Care for three weeks stay. Terrel went way beyond what he was asked for. He took a good care of my dogs, he kept me informed with daily messages of the dog's activities, he fed the dogs as he was asked. I'm very happy with Terrel's service and honesty. I would definitely trust my dogs to Terrel again

Great place! this was my dogs first time with a boarder and he definitely benefited from it. I was out of town on a work trip for 3 weeks and I didn’t want my dog to be in a kennel majority of the day so this was a perfect fit for us along with becoming more social with dogs. He went to the park everyday and TJ also sent me at least 2 pictures everyday and answered any question I asked on my pup. After I picked up my pup he has been sleeping wherever he can, definitely not the last time we’ll be using his services.

TJ runs his service like a business. We were especially impressed with his professionalism, foresight, and experience. While watching our dogs we encountered an unforeseen travel situation that he was able to accommodate with no issues. The entire time we felt completely comfortable and safe with him watching over our dogs. He provided daily photos and updates on how they were doing. We would definitely go back to TJ and recommend him to anyone looking for a competent, communicative, and professional sitter.

Terrell did an amazing job with my 7 month Doberman. We were in a last minute bind and Terrell was able to take him the day of AND keep my dog for 4 days. Terrell really does know how to handle all of the different personalities which is very important when you have a large dog with a lot of energy and separation anxiety. I noticed that when I picked my dog up that he was calm and leaning against Terrell as we were talking. We were very Appreciative of Terrell's flexibility and Happy with the state of our dog upon our return. We will be returning with no doubt!!!

TJ went above and beyond to accommodate us as we were moving from Japan to Fairfield. He has the most flexible hours for drop off and pick up and is reachable by phone at almost all hours. My dog has never been happier when boarded...probably because she is not locked in a concrete run/cage, instead, she is hanging out in a comfortable home! My dog was due her monthly preventative medication and TJ ensured she received. He takes all his boarding dogs to the local dog park and keeps them actively engaged with other dogs, toys, treats, and human interaction. TJ sent us daily photos/updates and it's clear he loves our dog almost as much as we do. I will be using his service again and again. In fact I'm hoping he will do some doggy daycare too!

TJ is Awesome! Knows how to handle and treat dogs, I have a old German Shepard and a old Jackussel mix. Both dogs came back happy and healthy. TJ takes them to the park, plays with them and let's the do what they want. He is very professional, polite, super responsive to calls and texts and sends pictures to you 2 time a day of your pet. I will recommend TJ to everyone!

It's a great place! It was my dogs first time with a boarder and he difinitely loves it. TJ did a wonderful job taking care of my older labrador! I was in need of last-minute pet care for a day trip for work, and was SO grateful that TJ was able to keep my sweet old dog entertained while I was away. (He even sent me a nice picture of all the fun they had at the dog park!) My dog is pretty energetic and extraverted for an old dog, and he came home super happy and exhausted -- I think dogs that like to run and play with other dogs will have a wonderful time with TJ.

Camp bow wow is the absolute best. We have been boarding our dog Winston here for extended stays for about 2 years… and every visit I feel more comfortable with the care I know he will receive. The staff is always so excited to see him when he checks in and share the cutest stories about his behavior during his stay. The facility is clean, they accommodate special feeding requests, the dogs are all so friendly, and you can even check in on your pup via the app cams. It can be so hard leaving your pup for trips but there are no better hands to leave them in than Camp Bow Wow Elk Grove!

After my third visit to this facility I am convinced that this is the place for my pup! The staff has been nothing but amazing and I feel my pup is well cared for and safe when in their care. As a graduate student at CSUS, I am constantly stressed for time. Had a great experience with Camp Bow Wow. Everyone kind and went out of their way to make my rescue dog feel secure and happy.

I scheduled my high energy 1.5 year old Labrador pup, MAC, for his first interview this past Monday and I have to say that my husband and I had a great experience with the staff that day. From check in to check out, the staff was friendly. Miko (spelling?) was the one who greeted us when we checked in, he took Mac for his assessment and then came out to let us know our boy fit right in and he was welcome to stay for the day. We watched the live cams throughout the day and saw our pup running around and playing with a ton of other dogs, which is what we wanted. It's great to be able to leave him somewhere to run off his pup energy in a safe environment. When I picked Mac up, another male staff member greeted me and let me know Mac did great. I know it's only been one day but we definitely will be using their daycare services soon, possibly even boarding and grooming. Thank you Camp Bow Wow EG!

We had a great experience at Elkgrove Bow wow. Our pup stayed 10 days. They gave our dog her medication and gave her a bath. I called midway into our trip to check in and they were very descriptive to put me at ease. Love Camp Bow Wow.First pup started coming here in 2015 and we have continued with our new family member 2023. Highly recommend them.

The dogs are always well cared for and the dogs play a lot all day long with each other. My dog loves going there because he gets to play with all the other dogs. When I leave my dog there and go out of town, I feel totally confident that he will be taking care of and fed and loved on!

We LOVE Pampered Pets! They take such good care of our little Mochi! She has a blast there. They always post pictures to update us while we are away. All of the care staff are very loving with the pups!

We have been taking our little “Apple” to Pampered Pets for her vacation while we are on ours since she was very young.She loves it. The minute she gets there she runs away her little tail going fifty miles an hour and never looking back. She loves playing with the other doggies and sitting on the owners lap. The facility is spotless. We recommend Pampered Pets without reservation.

Beware this facility has KENNEL COUGH. I understand it happens in kennels, but they refuse to take any responsibility for my dog (yorkie) being so sick. Farrington was the only place he had been to have caught this. I have called and spoke with Tonya, the manager or owner of the facility, her compassion was minimal considering i told her my concerns. My little dog was and is so sick over 2 weeks now. I thought he had pneumonia as he was whizzing so much but think goodness his lungs were clear to the tune of an $800 emergency vet bill. This is the first time I have had to "kennel" my dog and I assure you it will be the last. Now I know why their prices are so low. Furthermore, when I picked up my dog after his 4 days stay - he was full of urine. My dog ordinarily doesn't peed on himself. I have no idea what that was about. She gave me some lame excuse, but frankly I don't believe her. His bed was also being "washed". Too many red flags with this kennel. What in the heck is going on with our pets after we drop them off in their care...it's a mystery.

I've been taking my 2 dogs to them for years. They always deliver excellent customer service and my doggies always turn out so cute. I know my two are a handful, and Farrington's always rises to the occasion. Keep up the good work! Oh, I almost forgot. Love their doggie daycare!

We’ve taken our dog here a few times to stay while we went out of town and she seems to like it here. The ladies are nice and very accommodating making the experience simple. A couple things to note they are not open for weekend drop off and pick up and they charge an extra 5$ each day to feed twice a day.

Love this place! My dogs love staying there and they offer grooming after their stays. Only challenge is they don't take drop offs on Sat and Sunday so it's always a full weekend commitment even if you only need one night. Other than that, I would highly recommend it to any dog and cat lover🥰. …

This was my first time boarding my dog here. My dog came out wagging his tail so happy so it made me feel so good to see how happy he was. At home he seemed very calm I wonder if they gave him a little training as well? But overall he's been himself and I can see he sure missed us 😁. I will definitely use their services again. The staff is friendly and welcoming so that helps a lot too. Thank you so much for looking over my dog and taking good care of him.

We found Farrington Kennels via Google and saw that it had good reviews. There were more than a few negative reviews but we figured, we will form our own opinion and give them a try. We dropped off our dog on a Friday and had to leave town for a week. Check-in went fine, the staff at check in was nice and easy to talk to. When they brought our dog in, they just had me put a slip lead on my dog and hand him away. I thought I was going to be able to bring him to the place he was staying but did not. Ok that was fine. But when they were gone, behind one of the doors I heard dogs barking and you can hear a worker yell “shut up!”. Heard it but just let it go because I don’t know what’s happening behind the scenes. Afterwards I left. We dropped him off on Friday, the weekend passed and Monday was New Year’s Day. On Tuesday we called to check up on our dog and they said that he was doing fine. He’s keeping to himself in the corner with his toy. We asked if he has eaten since being there, they placed us on hold to ask the weekend crew if our dog has been eating/drinking. When she came back on the line she said “Yes, he’s eating and he’s doing great!” That put our minds at ease and felt that he’s doing good in there, eating and he will be fine. We were able to enjoy the time away. On January 9th, I picked up our dog to bring him home. When he came out, he seemed so anxious. We thought it was because he had been in there for a little over a week but when I called his name he looked over to me and he was happy to see me. As I was walking him to our car, I noticed how small he looked and how anxious he was to get out of there. I took him home and when my wife seen him, she noticed how skinny he was as well. We called Farrington and spoke to “N”, (I wont disclose her name). She stated that when dogs come in it takes a couple days for them to settle in and get into routine. Ok, makes sense. But when I asked if our dog has been eating, she said “she personally didn’t physically see him eating or drinking but when she would replace the water bowl, there would be slobber so she figures he would be. Well, the weekend crew said he was eating, drinking and doing great. Well, from the look of our dog, that’s not what it looked liked. He was 107lbs when we dropped him off on the Dec 29th. When we picked him up on Jan 9th, we weighed him and he weighed 98lbs. A loss of 9lbs!!!! What the heck!!! My wife called Farrington and spoke to “N” then was transferred to manager “T”. She was very rude and stated they took care of our dog and it’s not their fault that our dog was shaking and anxious. She said his weight loss was normal but 9lbs is a lot to lose in that amount of time if our dog was so called doing great and eating. She also mentioned they had @ 120 dogs that week and they did the best they can. If you can’t give equal care for each pet then you shouldn’t have that many in your facility. We never got a call stating our dog was anxious and shaking. We were only told he was doing great, eating and well behaved. We put our trust in this place but unfortunately our dog did not receive the care we expected; More like neglected. Per “T”; this place is not a good place for your dog, take your business elsewhere. Well, we formed our own opinion and will not be taking our dog here for any future stays. Was really hoping for a great experience but we got the complete opposite.

My dog stays here when I travel. She absolutely loves going. The staff are friendly and really do love their fur clients. They have a groomer on staff a few days a week and they do a good job on my girl when I add the service to her stay with them.

When I picked up my maltipoo Maya after a 10-day stay, she smelled good and her blankets & toys are newly washed. The staff is also very friendly & attentive. I am glad I found this place as my Maya’s second home.

We boarded our hyper heeler Rosin while we went on vacation and had a great experience. We were able to enjoy time away and not have to worry! Shoutout to Tonya for the great customer service. We will definitely be back.

I had a great experience with them. When I called on Sun to get an appointment for my puppy for a grooming appointment, they were able to get me in within a few days. The process was easy from start to finish. I explained to them that it was his first time getting groomed and they took great care of Barry. Wonderful experience boarding our cat Casper at Allen’s Pet Resort. The facilities are clean and smell very clean. The staff very friendly and accommodating. They knew the pets by name and had a personal knowledge of each one. Our Casper was board for 6 days and when we called to check on him, each time they made an effort to give us an accurate update on how our fur baby was doing. We also appreciated the reasonable priced rates.

Awesome place, this was my first experience in leaving our two year old husky. My daughter was having a heart procedure in San Francisco and I had no options for caring for the dog six days. I was stressing over both the dog and my daughter. All went well. Allen's pet resort was a great choice. Accommodating and friendly staff. Very affordable and stress free environment for the dog. Additionally, they offer grooming and bathing services. They exercise your pet and give it attention. I recommend this facility to anyone and I will be using Allen's again for future follow-up appointments without worry. Thank you Allen's.

I have been taking my 8 year old Female jack Russell here for over 10 years when i have to travel, as long as your pet have their necessary vaccines your good to to go, the place is clean and very well run, my dog looks forward going there!!

Stacy is ABSOLUTELY the most caring, thoughtful and thorough pet sitter that we have had! We have had overnights with many steps that our pups need (dog mom imposed I guess!) and Stacy never said anything was too much. Rather, Stacy understands that dogs are our kids - and they deserve the best care and love. She has a ton of affection and patience even for our “problem child” and loves all animals no matter their personalities. In a world where it’s so difficult to find pet sitters that really go the extra mile and not have to worry about anything - Stacy is a god send! Stacy is the best, and our senior dogs (17 and 15 year olds) absolutely love her! I don’t think I trust anyone with our fur babies as much as I trust her! She’s also very flexible and charges more reasonably compared to other services out there.

Can’t say enough about how great Stacy is with my two senior fur babies! She visits with them while I work, and also takes excellent care of them when I go out of town. Stacy sends plenty of updates and pictures, which is very important to me, since my pups both have health issues. She clearly loves pets and I feel like I couldn’t leave mine in better hands. I could take about how amazing Stacy K is ALL day. My husband and I have 3 dogs, and have always struggled to find good a good sitter for them in the past. When we met Stacy almost 2 years ago, our dogs have never received better care, and we have never felt so stress free while leaving town because we know that our babies are in the best hands. Beautiful grounds with everything for your furry friends and impeccably clean and well maintained facilities. We've only been here for Specialty Dog shows, but it's like an oasis in the middle of valley. Future plans are to include Lure coursing and more. If ever I own and operate a dog facility, this is what it would look like : )

Just recently did a artificial turf install for their dog launch competition pool & while there it occurred to me how each staff member was EXTREMELY courteous & professional, the landscaping immaculate, the facility VERY clean, makes me want to take my dog here right away! & To top it off the owners themselves are very down to earth & know their BUSINESS well. It's a hidden gem in our county.

Always friendly, and my dog loves it there. I boarded my parents' dog the last tike we were there, and they got to be in the same kennel (and I got a discount). My dog always comes out happy when I pick her up, and I know she's treated well. I always have her bathed, which to be honest is kind of pricey, but they do a good job and to me, it's worth it.

Reached out regarding boarding based on a couple great recommendations. I never board my dog but we’re going out of town with our newborn and it just seems easier than taking her on a very long car ride this time. I chose to reach out because of the good things I heard and I would feel better boarding my dog here. I was taken back when I was told I needed to bring my Staffordshire terrier to walk the kennels and do a meet and greet before she was approved to stay at the facility. My dog is reactive like many other breeds when she’s barked at, especially if it’s with someone she doesn’t know. She is not aggressive not one bit but because of her breed she was automatically discriminated against and that did not leave a good taste in my mouth. God forbid we went along with this crazy request and she was reactive and denied to stay there. I would have felt better if they told me it was for every breed but it’s not… very dissatisfied with this business and we didn’t even work together! I have reached out to multiple boarding facilities and no one else made this insane request. Photos of my dog. Does she look aggressive?

Their communication is HORRIBLE. God like complex from some who manage. The groomers are AWESOME and my two dogs will miss them greatly. However I refuse to let management insinuate we are not good dog owners due to an out of date "recommended" vaccination. I understand it is a private facility and they get to make their own rules, but I refuse to pay above average prices to be treated like $hit.

They are the nicest people and great with my babies. My concern is always how will my little ones be treated and they were able to assuage my concern. Definitely coming back!!! If you need some one for the holidays Karla's Pet Care is the best option.

Karla’s Pet Care does such a fantastic job! Our pets were frankly a nightmare while we were gone, the cat refused the litter box, the dog kept getting in the pantry and gave herself diarrhea. On top of that we had to keep changing our schedule and they rolled with all of it. They did a great job of keeping us informed while not stressing me out about my pets while I was on vacation. 10/10 highly recommend!

I loved this!! I'm always nervous about people being in my house when I'm not there but after the pre-visit my nerves were put to ease. Karla and Kayla are so nice and professional. Kayla is the one that took care of my fur babies when I was gone. She kept me updated with detailed daily check ins and pictures of them. I loved it and it made me feel so good that they were in great care. On top of all that she brought in my mail and took my garbage cans to the curb! It made a HUGE difference coming home late from a long trip and and not having to clean up cat litter, clean cat barf, or take the cans out etc. Thank you ladies for everything!!!

March 2021 update- Karla and her team continue to provide wonderful care. We started their new poop pickup service and it has been so helpful and convenient. Joe goes above and beyond and has communicated with us actively to address any concerns. I highly recommend! Karla and her team have been caring for our pets whenever we go out of town for over a year. They are easy to work with, friendly, and affordable. My favorite part is receiving an update and pictures of our pups each day during their care, so fun and comforting!

I consider myself fortunate to have found Wendy and her business. She and her team have provided me with top notch service for close to 10 years now. I tend to get an email/photo update on my critters mid way through each vacation which is delightful. I have never had a difficulty scheduling care. (But I also tend to schedule a month or two out which makes it easier for everyone.) I have recommended her to several people but do know that her business is pretty full (because of the great care they provide.) First rate pet sitting business!!

House Calls Pet sitting goes above and beyond! Wendy loves my little Charlie like he is her own! She makes sure he isn’t getting into mischief and plays and loves on him and sends the best pictures! House Calls is an excellent pet sitting service. I have been using them for years. My dogs, cat and lizard are very well taken care of and I never have to worry when I am away. I also love getting pictures and updates on how they are doing. I would highly recommend House Calls!

Wendy is absolutely amazing!!! She cares for my pets like they were her own. I can't tell you how many times she has gone above and beyond for my pets when I was out of town. She always spends time with them (throwing the ball for the dogs or petting the cats).

They are apparently SO SO busy, a potential Customer will need more then 2 months notice, and they do NOT return phone calls or emails. I'm just wondering what existing customers do in an emergency? I have have been turned down by them 3 times in the last 6 months. Why even advertise your services??
