I was nervous having to leave my cat behind for a 2 week trip, having just moved to Raleigh and with none of my local friends nearby to look in on her. All Critters Petcare stepped in and handled everything perfectly. I received daily emails with photos to keep me in the loop. Joey was excellent with my cat, and she clearly got along well with him. I'll definitely be scheduling service again for my future trips.

Unfortunately, Google does not allow to give less than 1 star otherwise I would because this 1 star is extremely generous. They never stay the whole time at visits, sometimes they are no shows! It's obvious they do not care for the critters they claim to love. I will be taking my business elsewhere and, for the critters sake, I hope many follow.

Melissa, German, Taylor, Logan, and Kathy did a fantastic job handling my two larger dogs. It is such a relief to be able to trust people to take such great care of them. I appreciated the thorough journal and pictures.

All Critters Petcare has done an amazing job with taking care of our senior kitty. Our cat is on several different medications and All Critters Petcare has no problem with making sure our cat gets the medications he needs when he needs them. We also sincerely appreciate the daily updates which include photos of our boy enjoying being spoiled! We were able to enjoy an extended trip of 3 weeks knowing that our cat was being well taken care of by Melissa and Joey! I can't recommend All Critters Petcare enough!

I've used All Critters multiple times now, and they are great to care for your pets while you are away. They are very flexible and send you updates in a nice report with descriptions and photos. Highly recommend them.

This place left my pets outside for nearly a whole day (20 hours) without giving them any food or water. It’s absolutely shameful and please do not leave your pets here

I am soooooo glad I found All Critters Petcare! They really take extra special care of my cat Emily when I am away traveling. I get pictures and notes from them every time they visit. I also had to have a home visit before they took me on as a client, as they wanted to make sure they got to meet Emily and understand what I needed from them. I love to hire small local businesses and these folks are the best. So impressed and happy with their service.

I was very impressed that they were great with sitting for my cat, Mali, while I was out of town for a week. They were very professional and REALLY cared about giving quality time to my "baby" while I was gone. I am a little over protective about my "baby", so I was delighted that they took the time during the initial visit to really get to know Mali and get a little bonding time before I left. I have recommended them to friends and family and would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants a great quality pet sitter to take care of your pet while out of town. GREAT JOB GANG!

All Critters Petcare has been a lifesaver for me! I'm always a little worried about leaving my two rabbits behind when I'm out of town, especially because one of my rabbits often needs to take medication, but Melissa and her team have always done such a great job giving me peace of mind by sending pictures and updates on the regular. They've always been incredibly flexible and accommodating to me and my schedule, and they just exude dedication. In fact, one time I hired All Critters Care to look after my rabbits while I was visiting family, and Melissa got into an accident and cracked a couple ribs, but she still went to my apartment to make sure my rabbit got her meds that night. I absolutely would have understood if she couldn't make it or had to have someone else come in, but she wanted to ensure that my rabbits weren't made nervous by a stranger, so she went in to care for them personally. I can't express enough how much I appreciate All Critters Care and the work they do, and I'm proud to be a customer of this lovely small business

All Critters has been absolutely fantastic, and they are my go to sitters in Raleigh. I have two senior dogs and a cat that receive medication, and Melissa and the All Critters team have been wonderful. They're so communicative, follow all instructions to a T, and send photos and an update after every visit. I feel so comfortable leaving my babies with them! I highly recommend.

I have always had a great experience with Ark Angels! They respond to my requests immediately and I feel at ease being away from home when they are watching my pets. I love that they will bring in my mail & water plants as well! Highly recommend Ark Angels Pet Care for your pet-sitting needs! We have 2 cats and have used the service on multiple occasions, with one of the fantastic pet-sitters, Jennifer, coming to our home to take care of our fur babies. They are trustworthy, our cats LOVED Jennifer, she always provided us with daily updates via text so we knew how the cats were doing, and provided an information sheet for when we arrived home with detail from each day we were away. She spent time with our cats ensuring they not only were fed and litter boxes cleaned, but she played with them, brushed them, gave them treats... some nice TLC they needed while we were away. I never felt concerned when Jennifer was watching our cats. Ark Angels Pet Care is professional, caring, punctual, and I have absolutely zero complaints! Nancy, the owner, is a pleasure to work with and super responsive, as well!

I love Ark Angels Pet Care ! My sitter is so good with our pets ! She even spends extra time with our older dog who needs a little help getting up and down the stairs. She sends us pictures and text updates to let us know how they're all doing . And when we got delayed on our return she responded immediately to our request to add on visits. These folks are professional and our pets adore our sitter!

Our experience with Ark Angels Pet Care was great and our two kitties were taken care of very well. The process was smooth and their staff was very prompt with scheduling and organizing around our ten-day vacation. While on vacation, they sent daily pictures and videos of our cats which we looked forward to every day. When we came back the litter was cleaned, water was full, and food bowls were clean too. For two cats it came out to ~$20/day which I thought was reasonable. While I can't speak re: dog-sitting, we would definitely recommend this pet sitting service for any cat-owner. In fact, we will be using their service again for an upcoming 5-day camping trip.

A great service! I recently had Holly look over my four rats while I was out of town. Holly provided me with daily updates and was excellent at following the care instructions I provided. It is such a relief to know that my pets will be cared for while I'm out of town! I would recommend Ark Angels Pet Care to all pet owners.

Very professional service. We were referred by a coworker of mine to take care of our cats and they went above and beyond to follow all of our detailed instructions and even send me updates and pictures of our cats every visit! They also kept our apartment clean from litter and did some extra things to make our cats as comfortable as possible.

Wonderful experience my cat was in daycare and usually gives people a hard time yet they were able to professionally get him in and out without my help and it was clean! The staff were friendly and daycare was very affordable. Would 100% recommend.

I have now been going to Paws at Play for the last 3 years. Dr. Stall is amazing. My cat Percy is a spicy kitty when he goes to the vet and Dr. Stall is able to work with him and care for him without sedation. She has a special touch and willingness to care. Also her prices are fair and reasonable.

We started bringing our little pup here for daycare 3 months ago when we first adopted him. We had tried another dog daycare and he seemed to prefer Paws at Play better. It's a really great way for him to burn energy and socialize with other dogs and people. As soon as we pull into the parking lot my pup goes crazy with excitement. We switched his vet to Dr. Stall at Paws at Play and am very happy. Dr. Stall seems to be very honest and down to earth like she doesn't give you a bunch of BS like other vets seem to do. The counselors and staff are the friendliest people and always make you feel like your pet is in the best hands. We are so happy with our experience here and am glad we found them.

I am very impressed with Dr. Stall and the staff at Paws At Play. They offer comprehensive veterinary care at the hospital, as well as boarding and day care for your fur babies. While at my chihuahua’s annual check up this year, his vet suggested we establish care at a veterinary hospital and follow up with a dental cleaning. I am new to the area and had very few options. I wanted somewhere close to home and somewhere I felt comfortable. I gave PAP a call and the receptionist provided me with the answers I needed and was able to schedule me for an initial appointment for bloodwork immediately. I loved how easy it was to email Mylo’s records. Dr. Stall and staff were welcoming and Mylo responded well to staff and the new environment. I was extremely nervous about scheduling a dental cleaning procedure. For dogs it is a surgical procedure that entails anesthesia to complete the cleaning. Mylo did well and the appointment was quick. Once complete Dr. Stall called me to review the outcome and emailed me photos and a discharge summary. Pick Up is well organized and staff is professional and knowledgeable about questions. The dogs that attend boarding and day care here are treated so well. They are like family here to staff it appears. They’re like little people. You can tell they adore the staff at Paws At Play. Thank you Dr. Stall.

Dr Jessica Stall at Paws at Play Veterinary Hospital has been our Vet for 8 years. We have always had rescue dogs, starting with our first rescue Raegan. We moved away from the area last summer, but loved our Vet so much that we travel to Raleigh from Wilmington to bring our 3 dogs there. And our daughter travels from Charlotte with her cat Juliette to see Dr Stall! Dr Stall & her staff treat my dogs (& my daughter’s cat) like their own & take such excellent care of them. Dr Stall, her assistants, & the front desk staff always make an extra effort to make our pets feel comfortable & they receive quality care at a reasonable price.

My dogs, Thor and Hopper, love coming to Paws at Play! Thor loves the treadmill activity! Hopper enjoys the tasty and creative monthly treats!! I love the peace of mind knowing there are veterinarian services on site! Highly recommend!

I take my baby Sebastian every time we go out of town. We love Paws at Play of Wake Forest❤️❤️. I can’t say it enough….the staff there is awesome and they show my baby so much love. My baby has to get extra attention because of his diabetes and they document everything on a sheet that shows what he did every day and what he got, they also send daily pictures of him to our email so we can see what he’s doing while we’re gone! I can’t recommend them enough!!! I would not take my baby anywhere else❤️

Very disappointed by my experience this weekend. I brought my dog in for boarding, and she has chewy vitamins that I give her daily. They’re like treats, so it’s very easy to “administer”. The staff said they charge $3 every time they give a treat. That is absurd. Then I had to cancel the last 2 nights of boarding because my trip was shortened by hurricane Helene. I told them I needed to pick Cali up 2 days early and they said I still need to pay for those nights. So I’m paying $80 for a service I’m not receiving. Very unethical.

This facility is fantastic! They treat myself and my pups like family. I look forward to visiting their other facilities throughout the Raleigh and Wake Forest area. Also during the holidays when they have their fun and cute Christmas photo shoot for the doggies!

One of the most deceiving and disappointing daycares in the area - the website and front desk staff tell customers that dogs play 9am-12pm and then 1pm-4pm. This is absolutely not the case, I learned last week that dogs are only let out ONCE for 45mins - 1hr in the morning and once in the afternoon for 45mins - 1 hr. The rest of the time the dogs are by themselves in the crate. The staff have shared that "enrichment activities like puzzles are provided for the dogs while they are in kennels" however for my young hyper dog I know that he is just stressed while he is in the kennel. For $33 a day, I expected my dog to play for around 6 hours, as the website and front desk communicated on multiple occasions. Two hours of play time total for that price is unacceptable. We will not be returning but I have wasted thousands of dollars at this establishment for my dog to get little playtime/care/socialization.

I LOVE taking my dog here for daycare. I am happy knowing that while I am at work, my dog (Dakota) has ample time outside to sniff and play with his friends, along with a comfy rest indoors on couches and soft beds. I think this type of daycare is superior to a standard large business/vet clinic/boarding facility because my dog is not kept in a loud kennel on a concrete floor with constant loud barking from other dogs- here he has a backyard to sniff with LOTS of outdoor play as opposed to boring astroturf with no trees. There is a perfect amount of other dogs for him to socialize with each time (7-10); not too many, but just enough. It's not overwhelming for him and he is always entertained. Caroline does a great job at sending me pictures of Dakota throughout the day and on rainy days she provides enrichment activities- this is something I really appreciate, as I do the same thing when I am home with him. I have referred several people to this Daycare and I will continue to do so! Thank you Caroline and Eric!

The photo says it all! Both times we’ve left our dog with Caroline and Eric for boarding we’ve had a great experience! They send pictures often and provide updates, and our boy always seems happy but exhausted after. Would recommend!

Our dog Maggie LOVES going to Caroline's! We have used Caroline and Eric for daycare and boarding and Maggie has a great time every time. I love that the dogs get to play together all day and that it's in a home environment, and Caroline and Eric couldn't be nicer.

Petcare by Caroline is great! I moved from IL where my dog had only ever been boarded at a similar business - in the homeowners home, when you know the homeowner is there through the night. We meet before my dog’s boarding appointment for a meet-and-greet where we talked about my dog and his behavior and I got to see where he would be playing with his new doggo friends! PBC sent photos and detailed texts, it made me feel so at ease when traveling away from my dog. Thank you Petcare by Caroline. I recommend Petcare by Caroline!

The folks at Petcare by Caroline really know what they are doing and I feel such peace of mind leaving my rescue dog with them while I’m out of town. My dog Hallie used to get overwhelmed at a traditional boarding facility, but their home environment, individualized attention, and slow introductions to the other dogs helped her to thrive here. She is pooped from all the playing but excited to go back soon!

Our 6 month old puppy Franklin absolutely loves going to daycare! Caroline creates a very home like environment for our baby. So many toys, a huge backyard to explore and lots of other dogs in his age range to play with. We know he is in good care every time we drop him off. When we pick him up, he is happy and exhausted and a dream to train because he has more manners at home. We even get updates on Instagram & text on how he is doing. We will be using pet care by Caroline as long as we live in Raleigh! She is an amazing communicator and she has a love for dogs that shows.

We’ve had great experiences with PetCare by Caroline. Our dog is very high energy, and my husband and I want to give her a chance for socialization and exercise that we can’t on our own. Caroline’s provides that. Our dog can’t wait to get to the play yard each week when we arrive. We’ve also had excellent experiences with boarding her at Caroline’s. Prices are reasonable, and she comes home happy.

I’ve personally know Caroline for 5 years now! I’ve had the privilege of working with her in the pet industry for several years. Her dedication to providing the best possible care for ALL the doggies or any animal at the matter is phenomenal!!! The PCBC business is extremely remarkable!! Caroline and her team took exceptional care of our pets while my husband and I were away for a whopping four weeks. They sent us consistent updates, even while we were out of the country. From the photos and videos they shared, and the general demeanors of our dog and two cats upon our return, it is clear they cared for the trio as if they were their own pets. We absolutely love Pet Care By Caroline! They are super nice and make sure you they know all about your pup! Raleigh loves all her fur friends she meets at their house! Very reasonable prices and big fenced in backyard with lots of natural shade. Raleigh loves going and getting all her energy out! And I love that she will post and send you picture of your dog !!

I couldn’t recommend Jackson at Urban Paws enough! I have 4 dogs and always have a hard time leaving them and Jackson makes me feel so comfortable because I know they are in great hands! Couldn’t be happier with Jackson! I have three dogs in three different life stages and he took the best care of them! Urban Paws has been providing weekly walks and overnight stays for my furbaby for almost 6 mths. I have a very difficult furbaby and Urban Paws has been nothing but patient and compassionate with him. I highly recommend Urban Paws!

Aroo takes a while to warm up to folks but he's gotten is really comfortable with Kevin, and Kevin respects his boundaries. Barbara and her husband are the MOST AMAZING people at Wag the Dog! They're the only people we honestly trust our 10 year old corgi and 3 year old Schnauzer with. We have been boarding with Lynn for over a year and are so fortunate to have found her! Our fur baby comes home after spending time with Lynn and it’s like she was never away from home. It’s hard leaving your fur baby for an extended period, but with Lynn she makes it much easier and we never worry. Lynn had been supporting our family for over 5 years and has taken care of 3 of our 4 legged golden retriever children. Lynn checks in while at our house and provides tracking of their walks with pictures. Lynn has taken care of our dogs in the house, let out for potty breaks, taken on walks and pet taxi to and from boarding. Our dogs love Lynn and are sooo excited to see her when she comes! But last year when I had my hip replaced and was left in a real bind by another person walking my two big dogs, Lynn didn't bat an eye and fit me into her really busy schedule. Although a long-time Raleigh resident and dog owner, until May, 2023 I had never used a pet sitter, and it took me a considerable amount of time, online research, and several extensive interviews before I was fortunate to find Lynn's Compassionate Pet Care. And while my pet care needs were not for the typical reason of vacation travel, but rather due to a scheduled surgical procedure and post-op recovery at home, my experience offers an especially accurate assessment of this professional's level of expertise, since I was present during all of her visits! Moreover, having two adult Salukis not at ease with unknown humans and requiring considerably more daily exercise than the average family pet (they are known as THE athletes of the canine world), I had ruled out several perspective pet-sitting companies before interviewing Lynn, who was the only candidate who understood that if a sighthound manages to get loose, chances are slim that it will survive automobile traffic due to its speed and desire to chase small wildlife. Her rapport with my two aloof girls was miraculous, and there was never any doubt that they were safe in her care. It is no exaggeration to say that I would have cancelled my surgery if not for Lynn's Compassionate Care!

We have had Lynn care for our three cats several times. She is professional, trustworthy, caring, and goes above and beyond. We were able to be away from home without worry. Lynn spent time playing with and grooming them. We received updates and photos every visit. Lynn also was able to give our diabetic cat insulin injections. We couldn’t be happier with her services, and highly recommend her.

I have two dogs, one of which is a chihuahua who can be very nervous with new people/unfamiliar surroundings. They have stayed with Lynn multiple times and she is top notch. Safe to say he does not do well in boarding at the vet or pet hotel. I trust her with my dogs 100%. My chi does great with her, She goes above and beyond - they get loved on and played with the whole time, after drop off she sits with them/loves on them to help them get comfortable after you leave, I get picture updates this whole time. It’s so worth it knowing they are well taken care of in a loving home while I’m gone and she does and amazing job. 100% recommend!

Lynn has been my beloved pet sitter for two years, but she is so much more than a pet sitter to me and my cherished Australian Cattle Dog, Arwen. She is a true friend and beautiful person in all ways. (Lynn came to comfort me the night I had to say goodbye to my best boy Merlin, my once-in-a-lifetime Australian Cattle Dog she also cared for until his death.) Lynn makes communication a priority, and her pictures and updates really ease my mind when I have to be away from my dear girl. Lynn helped raise and train Arwen as a puppy and continues to love her through daycare services and boarding on the rare occasions I can bring myself to be away from her. 😆 I can't imagine trusting my girl with anyone else.

*Updated* After posting my review, Alex, the owner, responded promptly and professionally. He apologized, issued a refund, and assured me that a meeting is scheduled with his employee, Jason. I understand that mistakes can happen in business, and I greatly respect an owner who takes accountability and works to make things right—that’s excellent customer service. While I would not allow Jason to groom my dog again, I would consider booking with another groomer from this company, as the owner clearly values his clients and his business. ***Original review I recently hired Pack & Pride for their mobile grooming service, and unfortunately, my experience with Jason was very uncomfortable and disappointing. The groomer arrived frustrated and aggressive, repeatedly shouted over me while I was trying to provide directions, and insisted the addresses weren’t marked—even though they are clearly visible. He insisted he couldn’t find my house, despite me standing out in the driveway with my dog, directly in front of him. This made for a stressful start to the appointment. While the groomer was friendly to my dog, his attitude toward me remained condescending throughout. I asked for a light trim to tidy up my dog’s coat, but he cut it down drastically, leaving a choppy, uneven result with visible missed patches. The haircut looked rushed and unprofessional, his coat was butchered, and completely inappropriate for winter. I will acknowledge that he did an excellent job trimming my dog’s nails. I wish I had seen the review before about Pomeranians because it is completely accurate - the cut is terrible. Unfortunately, due to Jason’s aggressive nature, I didn’t feel comfortable speaking up, and truthfully, I was in shock at how bad my dog looked. (Before and after photos attached) Between the unprofessional behavior and poor grooming quality, I cannot recommend this service. Lesson learned. Guess I’ll buy my dog a coat.

We have 3 Aussies that needed grooming desperately. They are not qwll adjusted enough to take them to a shop, so we were looking for mobile grooming. Not disappointed in choosing Pack and Pride. Scheduling was easy and our groomer Jason showed up on time. He spent an hour with each dog and they came back looking great. Huge difference with nails cut, hair trimmed, and bathed. Prices are reasonable for being mobile, time spent with each dog, and results.

Charlotte, our golden retriever, has had 3 baths from P&P over the past several months and they have all been great experiences! We trust the team and are so happy they can come to us instead of dropping her somewhere and hoping she’s not too scared. We’d highly recommend this team for any dog grooming needs!

They were great! I needed an emergency dog wash and they responded late a night and coordinated so quickly. And they made my boy look even more handsome. I highly recommend!

I have two Pomeranians and I paid $250 for the groomer to trim them. The result was HORRIBLE. He doesn't know how to do the trimming for this breed and ruined their coat. I do not recommend this service for anyone who has Pomeranians. I am so disappointed with the service. Their coat is all patchy.

Great service!!! I have two over 50 pound dogs who have never done mobile grooming. Jason came on time, talked about what I wanted and then went to work. Both dogs were clean, trimmed nails and were done on time. We have a new bestie!! Thanks Jason!!

Absolutely love this company and their services. Great communication. Great staff. This is the very 1st pet sitting service that I’ve used and my nerves are always at ease. After each walk, client portal is updated with pictures and a blurb of how your pet is doing. Would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area looking for a trustable company!
