Many thanks for that! The flat was not quite as clean as I would have expected, but perhaps I should have communicated it better. But all in all, we were very happy that we could rely on her and be away from home for a fortnight.

Aniek & Mark are the perfect sitters. They look after our house and Marvin so well I wish I could book them for every time we go away. Understandably they get booked up with other stays as they really are brilliant. In terms of the house it is so well looked after. It’s probably cleaner when we get home than it was before we left. In terms of their pet care they are amazing. We have a stricht routine and commands for Marvin and they stick to them perfectly. They spend more time going for long walks with him than we have the opportunity to do sometimes. Also at home he gets so much care and attention. I am sure he thinks it’s a holiday for himself too when we get ready to leave and Aniek and Mark arrive. We have only had them sit for us one time before, last May, but Marvin recognised them instantly and was so excited to see them this time when they returned. They are also so good at staying in touch and sending us cute videos of their time in our home and with Marvin. They are both so relaxed, easy to talk to and flexible. Their attention to detail is remarkable as they also remembered my daughter’s birthday. I really hope I get to see them both again soon.

Maja and Jinsu were wonderful housesitters and looked after our cats and our home perfectly. Before the housesit we really appreciated their communication. During the housesit they really took the time to get to know our two cats and appreciate their different personalities. They weren't just feeding our cats, they were engaging with them, playing with them, and caring for them. We felt very relaxed knowing our cats were being looked after so well. Maja and Jinsu kept in touch during their stay and let us know how the cats were doing and sent photos. Our house was super clean and tidy when we returned from holiday. We would be super happy for Maja and Jinsu to housesit again for us and recommend them very very highly as housesitters.

Yvonne and Jeroen were fantastic - so caring, considerate and they did everything to make sure the cats were well looked after, including missing their New Years plans to stay with the cats who were scared of the fireworks. They were independent, communicated well and left the apartment incredibly clean, as well as leaving loads of deliciously baked goodies for us on our return. Felix was terrific! He took care of our cat, plants, house, and yard for 3+ weeks while we were away. Our cat was happy and clearly well-taken care of when we returned. I highly recommend this lovely couple! They sent pix and videos everyday and so I was never worried about my Dog of my house. They took him on nice days out with them, which he loves and the house was in mint condition when I got home. Anja was brilliant - she was very conscientious in caring for our slightly temperamental cat, and she kept the house and garden in lovely shape - she even made some improvements to our wayward garden, which we really appreciated. She was very good at keeping us informed about how she and Sooty were doing, and was not fazed by a few small problems with the house, which she addressed very capably after consulting with us. We came back to a happy cat, a lovely clean house and tidy garden and we would be very happy if she was able to cat-sit for us again one day, Thanks so much, Anja!

Calm nature and animals loving couple
Julia (& Hendrik who only joined for a few days on this sit) smashed it. She went above what I could have expected in a cat sitter and was super attentive when it came to Momo and his needs. To give an example she noticed that Momo spent his nights guarding the cat flap from unwanted visitors and asked if that was normal (the batteries in the microchip flap had died) meaning we could trouble shoot and fix the issue. She sent regular updates and I felt like she took great care to get to know my quirky little furry friend meaning I came home to a relaxed and happy kitty. She left the house spotless and even looked after my plants. Would happily trust her with Momo and my flat again (if only they lived a little closer).

Ally was great! We got to meet for a few minutes before I headed out and I felt super reassured that both Goose and my home were in good hands. My cat is picky when it comes to strangers, but he was comfy in Ally’s lap right away the first night! She communicated well and sent cute pictures while I was away. He is a committed and experienced sitter who completely understands his role and responsibilities and also how to gently win the confidence and affection of a pet. He is an excellent communicator, and he kept us regularly up to date on our cat's well being--sending us texts and photos at least once/week as we requested. Our cat who is a little afraid of new people, grew fond of him, and we have returned to a very calm, contented cat. I chose Kira because of her reviews, ability to sit during the dates I needed and willingness to communicate with my daughter/neighbor who co-parents Colby with us. I am always a bit anxious about having someone in my home and trusting them with our fluffy son. Kira put us at ease almost immediately. I received photos and videos everyday throughout the stay. I got updates on Colby’s activity and the fun they were having together. My heart felt full knowing that Colby was being well loved and cared for. Additionally, Kira was so kind to keep us posted on any deliveries that arrived at the house. Finally, when I arrived home, the house was tidy and clean! Toby and Chloe were one of the best house sitters we have ever had! As a small animal vet I have seen many types of pet sitters and these guys are top notch. Our pets are not easy either. We have special needs dogs, cats on medication, dogs with behavioral issues, horses, chickens, goats and a large (100 lb) Sulcata tortoise who needed close monitoring of the temperature in his barn. Everyone was thriving and happy when we came home. They read through the packet and asked thorough, thoughtful questions. They went above and beyond grooming, mucking and grazing the horses and goats everyday. They chopped greens and fruit daily for our tortoise. If we had known how amazing they were we would have booked a 3 week trip instead! Can't recommend them enough.

Paige, David, and family were WONDERFUL sitters for my crew! They were so pleasant and personable, and the pets warmed up to them very quickly. Even my rescue cat who tends to stray away from men loved David. I received regular updates and communication (before and during the sit). I truly did not have any concerns while I was away knowing that everyone had such great care and attention given to them. (I know the dogs had a good time because when I came home there was no commotion over my return.) I was away on NYE and Paige had no issues keeping an eye on one of the dogs who has anxiety surrounding loud noises. The family cleaned up after themselves and may have left the house cleaner than when I left! Truly such a great family who I would welcome back any time!

Kristine was wonderful again as our local sitter from just down the street. The boys take to her like she is their best friend whenever she comes to sit with them. She sent us photos of them playing, relaxing, drinking water and eating so we knew they were well taken care of. The house and the cats were in excellent shape and excellent hands while we were away.
