Caroline and Rob are the best the house sitters you could wish for. They were very flexible with our arrival and departure times due to our flights and nothing was any trouble. We did not worry about Teddie for a second as we knew he was in great hands and was being spoiled rotten. Caroline and Rob sent daily video's and photos of their various walks, tea shops and walks to our local pub. It was such a joy to know that they were enjoying their stay and Teddie was as happy as larry! Caroline and Rob are fabulous and very caring and 5 stars are not enough! When we returned home the house was immaculate, and Teddie was beautifully groomed and very happy. We cannot thank Caroline and Rob aka Auntie C and Uncle B enough for their care, patience and the genuine affection to our Teddster. We are all looking forward to seeing you in March. Jennie & Alan house/ pet sitted with their daughter over the August bankholiday, which should have been a gorgeous summer weekend but storm Lillian had other plans. Jennie & Alan weren't phased by the weather which blew the bins over & lots of branches on the forest tracks but none of this stopped them enjoying days out & activities nearby. The house was lovely & clean on my return home with bed linen,towels all washed & drying- a few things out of place but Jennie was quick to messege me when I couldn't find things. The birds & cat seemed happy on my return & seemed well cared for in my absense- I appreciated some good photo's & updates on progress whilst away. I was pleased the house plants & greenhouse had been watered as guests often forget that duty. It's a pity we hadn't had an in- person contact handover at the start of the sit due to arrival timings but I sent video & written instructions to help them find everything & they where quick to ask if they needed local or other information. I'd happily have them to return sit & so glad their daughter enjoyed the pets & garden :)

Ann and Martin were super friendly, reliable and all round great house sitters! They took great care of all the animals and were obliging in throwing Pip's ball for her - a lot! Communication was great and it was really helpful to have the opportunity for a visit before we left to meet the pets and look round. The house was beautiful and clean when we got home which was lovely. We would love to have them back if they are ever travelling nearby again on their adventures! Definitely recommend them! Ebony is an amazing sitter. Her communication before arrival was excellent. From the time she arrived the cats seemed very comfortable with her. She kept me updated throughout the sit, even following up when I had a problem getting messages. My flight home was delayed and she very kindly stayed late to give the cats dinner. I arrived home to a spotless house, with even fresh sheets on the bed and all the laundry done, and most importantly super happy cats! I cannot recommend her highly enough. Anyone would be lucky to have her looking after their precious pets and home. I do hope she can sit for me again one day!

Cynthia was a perfect pet sitter for our little kitty. We knew from her extensive experience with cats that Nala was in good hands. She was extremely responsive via texts when we were away, ensuring us that the 2 of them were having a great time. She went absolutely above and beyond by scrubbing our bath and toilets to remove our mineral deposit rings that we haven't been able to get rid of! She even left the name of the product she used so we can get more in the future. The house was cleaner than when we left. We'll have her back anytime!

Cung was a wonderful cat sitter and housesitter and we would happily invite him back again. He was excellent with our cats and sent plenty of photos, and also left the house impeccably clean. We had to come back a day early and so we got to spend some time with him which we enjoyed as well. 10 out of 10 recommend!

I was fortunate to have Hillary return for a second sit. She took excellent care of both my cat and my home. She got on well with my neighbors and even allowed my friend to come visit Suley while she was there. We were so pleased to meet John and Trisha! We had them come in a day before we left and enjoyed a nice meal with them and they got to meet Delilah (even if she didn’t seem interested) but she soon warmed up to them - except for the Cat Videos - she wasn’t very interested 🤣 When we returned our home was so clean (probably cleaner than we left it)! We got frequent pics and updates on our Princess! They also left us with a Progress Report with Delilah’s activities and what they did at the house before they left. Lindsey was super communicative, friendly, responsible, and an excellent sitter for our two cats. When we returned, our home was clean and our cats relaxed and happy as if we had never left ! She sent us photos and updates every day, as requested, and when a random mishap occurred in the apartment, she let us know right away and was proactive in handling issue. My husband and I are so grateful for Cendy staying with our ~1yr old cat for nearly a full month. We were nervous to leave her for so long but Cendy had Wilma literally eating out of the palm of his hand and snuggling with him in no time. Cendy was incredibly communicative with us and attentive to Wilma consistently for the entire duration of the sit which was such a relief and gave us the piece-of-mind needed to fully enjoy our trip. We returned back to an impeccably clean apartment and a very content kitty. For the first few days back Wilma was definitely looking around for Cendy, missing her buddy. We (and Wilma!) would welcome Cendy back any time, especially for a longer stay knowing how responsible of a sitter he was. Couldn't recommend enough!

Ruthee was a fabulous pet sitter for our three cats while we were gone for a month. Prior to the sit, she was consistent and communicative; she even came over early for a meet and greet to learn the routine. During the sit, she took great care of our three cats by playing with them (she made a fun cat toy!), scooping litter, feeding and watering them, and sent us text updates and pictures. We came home to happy fur babies and a clean home. She left the place very tidy which was greatly appreciated! We are so thankful for Ruthee and would recommend her should the opportunity arise. Our house was in good order when we got back and Steven was kind enough to give us a lift to and from the airport. He was very flexible, arriving day early so we could show him around.

Absolutely fantastic service, Louise is a natural with dogs and will tailor to your specific needs. I am always happy to leave my 2 dogs with her and enjoy my holiday. She will send pics and updates throughout. She has occasionally walked them from time to time and they always come back shattered, very reasonable rates as well. Would 100% recommend.

I sent an email regarding dog sitting for our honeymoon for two weeks and also popping to look after our cats with home visits which I received a reply a day later to say yes she was free for them dates which was brilliant so I sent an email back saying to book us in and I would pop through with the deposit and never got any reply! So I gave her a ring and nobody answered so I left a voice mail saying I had sent an email and to give me a ring back please. . . And never heard anything back so I rang the next day and no answer I tried once more the day after and nothing again! I give up! I know people live busy lives but how some people manage to run a business is beyond me.
Louise is so good with my Japanese akita willow.,Always able to fit her in for my weekends away. Willow always comes home very happy and I'm sure she cannot wait for her next visit.I would be lost with out you Louise. You are a top lady who I so trust with my furbaby. 100 percent. We have been using the services of Valley Pet Care for quite some time and cannot fault it. Kelly is absolutely brilliant and very dedicated to all the dogs she takes care of. Our dog has a paddock session each week and loves it and actually waits at the window looking out for Kelly. She loves playing with her doggy friends and adores Kelly. It is extremely good value for money, Kelly collects and returns our dog to our home so it is a very convenient service. I have the utmost trust in Kelly and Valley Pet Care and would not have any hesitation in recommending their services.
I knew within five minutes of meeting Kelly that Valky Pet Care was the one for me. Punctual, organised, experienced and professional was my first impression. I left 3 cats, 2 goats and 12 geese in her card for over two weeks, got daily updates and photos, and came home to find relaxed animals in clean housing and all my instructions followed to the letter. She also did the important little extras like watering my plants. I recommend Valley Pet Care very highly, and will use Kelly's services again whenever I need to go away longer than overnight.
Kelly is amazing! The whole service is just great as I no longer worry about Hugo in the day as I know I'll get a message, update and picture from his walk. Hugo isn't the easiest of dogs as he has some behavioural issues but Kelly took him on regardless and he seems to really enjoy his time with her. She is very flexible and has even accepted really last minute requests. She is incredibly reasonably priced and has an obvious passion for animals. Would highly recommend 😊
I’ve used Kelly at Valley Pet Care twice now and have been very happy on both occasions. The first time Kelly looked after our Golden Retriever and he had a great time with her. On the second occasion, we asked Kelly to feed our flock of Aylesbury ducks while we went on holiday. Unfortunately a fox managed to get into the ducks enclosure and killed several ducks. Kelly handled the whole issue very professionally, all the time communicating with us to provide updates and agreeing actions. We were very glad that we had used Kelly and will certainly be using her services again in future.
My dog Rosie loves going to paddock play sessions with Kelly. Rosie gets to run freely in the paddock in complete safety with other dogs, adding an important social aspect to the session. Rosie has fun with the toys, and paddling pool Kelly has provided in the paddock. Kelly is professional, reliable, and most importantly Rosie absolutely loves her.
Kelly walked our dog while we were on holiday. She is fantastic – reliable, conscientious, professional and an obvious animal lover. We received photos every day and regular updates by text – I honestly can’t recommend her highly enough.

Frances is brilliant with all of my animals, not just taking care of my dog Flynn. I recommend her highly to anyone who loves and cares for their dog but has to work long hours. I absolutely love Hotel for Pets! Leanne and her family open their home for my dog Ralph who loves going to stay there, maybe a little too much that he’s sad to come home. Ralph first went when he was 6 months old and absolutely mental, I was worried he wouldn’t be allowed back but Leanne and her family were great with him and all enjoyed having him stay. We wouldn’t use anyone else - first class service from a first class family 😁
I left my 6 year old cavalier king Charles spaniel with Leanne and he loved every minute of it. Would highly recommend, he was well looked after, loved and got more exercise there than he does with us in a month!

Megan kindly was able to accommodate looking after our beloved Mathew at short notice so we could go away for a few days. We are new to the Denby Dale area and found Megan from multiple positive reviews. Megan came to visit us before we went away. Discussed Mathew's needs and routines. We felt very safe in her hands. She came to see Mathew twice a day and sent photos and an update on how he was doing. The house was tidy when we returned. She had changed his litter tray and disposed of his litter waste and he had fresh water and some biscuits. Mathew was happy on our return and clearly had been cared for. Megan has been so great with our dog, Rogue. Since the first lockdown, Rogue became fairly attached and anxious when we left her alone. Megan has been such a savour and with her home visit service, we’ve seen such a quick turn around with Rogue. Can’t recommend enough!

We use Megan for walking Eric our dog and feeding the Claz the cat when we are working. We also use her for sitting the pets while we go away. I wouldnt trust many people with our fur children but Megan is extremely caring and experienced in her profession. I recommend her without hesitation.
