Matteo and Manon are a very sweet and reliable young couple who were keen to practice their English before going travelling to Australia. They communicated very well with us on the run up to sitting for us, and they had read and understood very well the welcome pack and our instructions for looking after our fur baby. They are very sensible young adults who don't drink or smoke. Even though this was the first time we have used this service, I felt very confident leaving Clyde with them. They sent us pictures and videos each day to reassure us that Clyde was well and happy. They looked after him so well I don't think he missed us at all! 😀 We can't thank them enough and wish them all the best for the future. We would recommend them to anyone as very reliable sitters.

Sandy & Ben are really lovely people and they took great care of our home. We couldn't have asked for a nicer couple to house sit. There was more to organise than we had expected which they took in their stride. When we had a leak in our roof for example, they did a fantastic job of managing the water damage and then helping to co-ordinate the repair. Between Sandy's organisational skills & green fingers, and Ben's DIY, there was no task too great. Their dog Bella is really sweet, we had serious pet envy, and they left the house absolutely spotless at the end of the sit. I am struggling with naming our top adjective to describe Michael and Jeanne. "Conscientious" will likely be it but then again, "personable," "reliable," "organised," and "animal-loving" are top contenders. If you are reading this review and contemplating inviting this couple to watch your pets, then look no further. We have had a number of excellent house sitters but this pair was next level in terms of the love they showed our cats, Maxx and Nala. When we came back, we could our animals already missed them. These cats, who have never slept with anyone other than us, were getting in bed with them each night -- and that meant climbing stairs! The day before our trip, Nala got an ear infection and had to be put on steroids for asthma. Michael and Jeanne did not sign up for that when the sit was booked but they took it in stride. In the last-minute rush, I relayed that Nala needed her oral steroids morning and night. Michael read the RX label, indicating one dose a day, and contacted the vet to clarify. So you can see why "conscientious" is right up there. They saved Nala from an overdose! We were gone three weeks and they sent us just the right amount of pictures and videos. They bought cat toys (I forgot to put ours out!) and actively engaged with them, including 20-minute massages for Maxx. I truly believed them when they said they fell in love with our fur babies. The house was spotless (which was not important to me but truly appreciated) but I smiled when all six water stations in our yard were filled. They took seriously my love for and the needs of the wildlife in our yard. Our plants were all in good condition as well. Sensing they were "next level" when I met them, I predicted they would want to leave a meal for us upon our return. I asked them not to but they found another way to bow out with class. They made a donation to a nonprofit I work with instead. This I learned from the lovely thank you note they left. I hope they will consider Charles and I friends because we certainly feel that way about them now. What special people. If you book them, treat them well because they are going to do that for you for sure.

Kristi was an absolutely incredible sitter -- I think our favorite one ever! She was easy to communicate with, kind and personable, and took great care of our pets and our house. It was the first time we had left both our dog and our cat with a TH sitter and Kristi went above and beyond. She was very self-sufficient but provided fun updates and pictures and our pets loved her. Highly recommend!

My partner and I left our cat Mango in Lindsey's care for a month so that we could get married. We were going from FL to ME, so it was a long way from home. We were gone for a month. Picking the right houses sitter was important. We are so glad we picked Lindsey (and she picked us). From before Lindsey got on her plan to fly down, until she was back home again Lindsey was communicative, considerate and positive. We felt like we had a family member staying at our place and because of who she is, Mango and our home's well being was a weight off our mind during the wedding. Toby and Chloe were one of the best house sitters we have ever had! As a small animal vet I have seen many types of pet sitters and these guys are top notch. Our pets are not easy either. We have special needs dogs, cats on medication, dogs with behavioral issues, horses, chickens, goats and a large (100 lb) Sulcata tortoise who needed close monitoring of the temperature in his barn. Everyone was thriving and happy when we came home. They read through the packet and asked thorough, thoughtful questions. They went above and beyond grooming, mucking and grazing the horses and goats everyday. They chopped greens and fruit daily for our tortoise. If we had known how amazing they were we would have booked a 3 week trip instead! Can't recommend them enough.

Kathryn was such nice and kind sitter that both of my boyfriend and me were grateful to have, including my cats!! My cats seemed having great time with her, being around her, chilling on couch with her, or even sitting on her. I got several photos of my cats from her with whort updates. I’m thankful that she let me do facetimes with her when I missed my cats. The house was clean and tidy when we came back. I definately will ask her again to sit my cats and house when I need. Oh wow! Everyone should be so lucky to have Nicholas and Veerle watch their house and pets. These lovely people are pros! They communicated early and often, were super accommodating to some last minute changes (it was originally going to be only our cats to watch but we decided to keep the dog home as well so that added to the schedule and care needs) and they left the house spotless and all set up for another sitter who came in after them. We didn’t get the chance to meet because my departure and arrival times but I dearly hope I get to in the future because they were just great! I even heard how nice they were from My neighbors who say them out walking our dog. :-) They also sent regular pictures of the pets which look like pro-photography! Cannot recommend this couple enough! Your pets and house will be in good hands!

Greetings Pet People, I am a bit late leaving my review for Kristine who is local to us and has taken care of our kitties Max and Luis a few times this year. After COVID-19 was announced in March, our travel plans came to an abrupt halt. We had to cancel a lot of trips we had planned but decided that it was safe to go camping a couple of times this summer. We called on Kristine as one of our favorite sitters on this site. We discussed safety protocols and agreed to cleaning that we would do to leave the house safe for her to enter. She shared protocols that she had taken with other homeowners and had sound processes to make us feel safe leaving our cats and our home in her care. She even purchased batteries for our automatic cat feeder when it failed to let one of our confused kitties to eat. Kristine is a smart, humorous and a thoughtful person. A great experience with Charlotte taking care of my three cats for two periods of around ten days. Charlotte is completely invested in what she does, she knows and understands our furballs, adapts to each person's character and their needs. All this allows our absences to be sweeter to them. She is a true professional to whom I would entrust my little ones very soon with my eyes closed.
Highly recommended. We have a very reactive minibull, with a duplicate difficulty with the bowl. Charlotte managed this situation perfectly, although it was not easy, knowing that we have 5 awkward dogs as neighbors. The detail of the walk with comments and photos/videos is a big plus and greatly alleviates the various concerns we had about leaving our little nag (Charlotte has as much control with dogs as she does tenderness, perfect). Charlotte is serious and conscientious in her work. I called on her for visiting services for my cats, my dog and now for walking my dog. For each service, there is a report, a message to reassure you and nothing is forgotten as seen with her beforehand. It's reassuring and it's nice to be able to have full confidence in your animals. My dog's walks, with my agreement of course, can be done with Charlotte's dogs which is a plus for my dog which allows him to see his friends regularly. I hope to be able to continue this great adventure with Charlotte. You can call on Charlotte with your eyes closed and without hesitation. For the care service at Charlotte's which I have not yet tested, here again I will have no hesitation for my dog who is moreover very wary of strangers. We left our 4 year old dog in Clara for two nights. Our dog is rather sensitive and it seems that he enjoyed his stay with Clara. She sent us photos every day and gave us updates. We will repeat the experience if necessary.
I cannot evaluate Clara as a Petsitter (contact with animals, care etc...), however hoping that nothing serious has happened to her, after having committed by text message and verbally at the beginning of December to look after my dog for 4 days during the Christmas period, no contact since mid-December in addition to having failed us on the day of the meeting between our two dogs (2 days before Christmas)... After 1 hour of waiting under the rain, more than 10 calls and 2 messages vocals we abandoned. Therefore 2 days before Christmas I was unable to bounce back = blocked for the holidays.
I entrusted the care of my animals to Clara for a weekend. First time for me to use a petsitter. I recommend her with my eyes closed, she gives a lot of news, keeps you informed, the animals have a real vacation with her! See you soon and thank you again!
I called on Clara for one-hour walks from Monday to Friday. We met with her companion. At that time I gave her my schedules for the month which she validated in her organization. We collaborated together for maybe 3 weeks. Very quickly she had "unforeseen events", hours of driving to do, the delivery man to wait to collect her package... So she shifted the hours to suit her convenience on the same day or left me at the last moment. The 3rd time it happened, in 3 weeks I called him back, I got angry. My dog's needs were not respected, nor was what had been signed and agreed upon together. Well Clara didn't appreciate my displeasure, it was up to me to understand that she had other things planned. No questioning. A shocking lack of professionalism. To finish with class, I had the right to blackmail to be able to recover my keys!! There was still one ride to pay for, and Clara told me point blank that if I wanted my keys back I would have to pay for this ride. She had just broken my trust and created a rather unhealthy atmosphere... I never talked about not paying her, the trip was over, of course I was going to sort it out... In short, if you want a reliable service, committed, invested with confidence, do not call on her. She wasn't the first dog sitter I had, I've never experienced that and yet she's a professional, declared with a signed contract... There are plenty of people much more reliable.
