Dog Lovers in the North
Lareena and her husband took care of our two Golden Retrievers twice while we were fishing and couldn't take the dogs. They are extremely reliable and organized. Communication with them is easy and the dogs absolutely adore them. The house was tidy, the dogs happy, and when I forgot to tell them that we made it home they even checked on us to make sure they didn't have to come back and feed the dogs again. Thank you for everything. I can highly recommend this couple for any dog sit, near and far.

Maggie and Matias were outstanding house and pet sitters. I would have them again in an instant. They were so very respectful of our home, treating it as their own and left it very clean, even washing the sheets and making our bed with fresh sheets before we got home! They were amazing with our pets. Maggie took the time to talk with us via video call in advance and arranged to arrive before we left so we could show her around. When she arrived, she already knew each dog by name as she studied in advance so she was prepared to care for the pups. She gave them attention right away and they were comfortable with her by the time we left 30 minutes later. Maggie stayed in touch while we were gone and sent us photos of our Chihuahuas snuggling next to her looking happy as can be. Her love of dogs is so apparent and they loved her right away. This was my first time using zeewoi and it was an absolutely positive experience. I was worried trying this the first time and Maggie showed me I had nothing to worry about whatsoever. I absolutely adored her and Matias. They were outstanding.

Newlyweds, shelter-dog lovers, homeowners, and experienced travelers.
Amanda was an exceptional pet sitter. She coordinated with us prior to her arrival and came early enough for us to show her the house and yard, meet the cat, and answer her questions. The cat obviously enjoyed her company, as evident by the photos of him hanging out with her. She kept us updated with how things were at home, but not excessively so, and even took the initiative to make sure that our freezer was working well when she detected a potential problem. Amanda cleaned the house and even washed the bedding and towels before we returned, leaving us with no work whatsoever. We recommend her highly and would certainly invite her to sit for us in the future.

Pet lovers with a green thumb + a handyman!
Hanna was the perfect sitter! Not only did she look after my dog and fish, my place was cleaner than I left. She was very respectful and made sure that she had all the information needed before I left. I got daily text and videos of my pets so I felt very reassured that she was doing exactly what I asked. She was very communicative and response. I would not think twice if I ever need a house sitter. She's awesome!

Laid back dog lover looking to travel and have a pet there to keep me company.
If I could leave 10 stars I would. Heikki is amazing!! We encountered a situation where our pup became ill and Heikki ended up having to take our pup to the pet emergency TWICE. She kept us very well informed, was not at all stressed or bothered by the inconvenience and her biggest concern was making sure our pup was safe and comfortable. She made batches of chicken and rice for puppers and did everything she could to help. We ended up coming home early as our pup still wasn't feeling great, and Heikki just went with the flow, not at all bothered, only wanting what was best for our dog. I would recommend Heikki to anyone. She is trustworthy, responsible, has excellent communication and goes above and beyond. Thank you for everything, Heikki!

Hello from Alaska!!
Exceptional Zeewoi! Floss was organized, energetic, and self-sufficient. Our anxious dog Sofie felt safe and at ease with her. She often sent lovely photos of Sofie out and about on adventures. Floss cleaned our home prior to our return, including the refrigerator. She had homemade soup and cookies made for us. It felt like coming home to my mom’s house. We hope we can entice her to come back often, for future sits or even just to visit us! If she applies for your sit, consider yourself blessed and confirm her without hesitation.
Julia was an amazing sitter and we couldn't be happier with our experience! From our first contact to when we arrived home after our trip, communication was excellent and we were able to enjoy our time away with complete peace of mind that our pets and our home were in good hands. We particularly appreciated how clean and tidy everything was when we got home with the linens and towels all washed and dried! Our cats clearly didn't miss us a bit - they were relaxed, their coats brushed and were giving us side-eye "oh, so, back to normal then? " looks as we unpacked. Thanks for everything Julia!
I am struggling with naming our top adjective to describe Michael and Jeanne. "Conscientious" will likely be it but then again, "personable," "reliable," "organised," and "animal-loving" are top contenders. If you are reading this review and contemplating inviting this couple to watch your pets, then look no further. We have had a number of excellent house sitters but this pair was next level in terms of the love they showed our cats, Maxx and Nala. When we came back, we could our animals already missed them. These cats, who have never slept with anyone other than us, were getting in bed with them each night -- and that meant climbing stairs! The day before our trip, Nala got an ear infection and had to be put on steroids for asthma. Michael and Jeanne did not sign up for that when the sit was booked but they took it in stride. In the last-minute rush, I relayed that Nala needed her oral steroids morning and night. Michael read the RX label, indicating one dose a day, and contacted the vet to clarify. So you can see why "conscientious" is right up there. They saved Nala from an overdose! We were gone three weeks and they sent us just the right amount of pictures and videos. They bought cat toys (I forgot to put ours out!) and actively engaged with them, including 20-minute massages for Maxx. I truly believed them when they said they fell in love with our fur babies. The house was spotless (which was not important to me but truly appreciated) but I smiled when all six water stations in our yard were filled. They took seriously my love for and the needs of the wildlife in our yard. Our plants were all in good condition as well. Sensing they were "next level" when I met them, I predicted they would want to leave a meal for us upon our return. I asked them not to but they found another way to bow out with class. They made a donation to a nonprofit I work with instead. This I learned from the lovely thank you note they left. I hope they will consider Charles and I friends because we certainly feel that way about them now. What special people. If you book them, treat them well because they are going to do that for you for sure.
Great sitter would hire Stephen and Jenny in a heartbeat. Great with dogs cat and house
Marianna was an incredible house sitter and cat sitter. She gave our property and sweet kitty top notch care. She is kind, easy to communicate with, thorough, etc. Would highly recommend her, you will not be disappointed.
Jenima is an excellent sitter! She is organized, communicative and flexible throughout the stay. We needed a sitter at the last minute because Jazz got sick, and Jenima saved us. We left a little worried about him, but Jenima took care of him really well and kept us informed. Cats love her! We definitely recommend her to take care of your pets!
Danny and Jo did a great job caring for our 3 cats and fish AND lots of plants (and home of course) while we were out of town for 3 weeks. We came back to a very clean house, sheets, and towels all clean and folded and fresh sheets on the bed they were using. The plants were all alive too, which is a first for us (again, we have a lot of plants!). The cats were happy to see us and they were all accounted for (a past sitter lost a cat for a week - they escaped outside as a non-outside cat). Everything was in its place and looked great. We received regular updates (via text) with photos of the cats lounging about which was important for us. Danny asked good questions when they visited us before the sit, and when reviewing our pet/house sitting instructions. The only thing we noticed that was different was that our 2 young cats were a little lighter (not necessarily a bad thing) but we understand that being gone for that length of time can be stressful on our furry family, which almost always affects their eating habits. All in all, we would definitely have them again!
Tracy was an ideal pet sitter when we left for 12 days. She was communicative, friendly, and most importantly took perfect care of our two cats and our house. I would highly recommend her for any sit!
Jinnie was an excellent house sitter for me and my cat Felix. Completely responsible and reliable and helpfully flexible. She was willing to work with me as I dithered on whether I was actually going to go on my trip (which was dependent on good weather), and when I finally decided on making my trip one day shorter. House was clean and organized on my return, and, more importantly, my cat was calm and relaxed on my return. I would happily have Jinnie come sit for me and Felix again.
Karen was able to step in a sit for me on short notice after another sitter canceled. She was very thorough and communicative and I felt I had left my apartment and cats in good hands with her. I came home to a clean apartment and happy cats. I definitely recommend Karen as a sitter.
Tonya was great and filled in after our other sitter had to cancel. She was very self sufficient and navigated acclimating herself to everything since she arrived after we left. She gave thoughtful updates on my cat and I could tell she really enjoyed her, so that means the world to me! She left the place immaculate and we will certainly have Tonya back!
