Rachelle was so fantastic with my crew! One of my dogs is very distrusting of strangers and can take a while to warm up to new people. Rachelle was very patient and willing to come over multiple times prior to our trip so that Charlie could get comfortable with her. All 3 of my dogs loved her! She was patient and gentle with them, even when two of them found a skunk and ended up getting sprayed while we were away. She was very apologetic and willing to put in the extra work to bathe and de-skunk them, and kept me updated throughout the whole process of it. I definitely recommend Rachelle and Doggone Awesome Pet Services!

They use a website for reservations which works out so well. And the email communication through the website is also perfect. I usually use them once a week for “daycare” purposes and I have also used them many times for extended vacation weeks. I have them stay overnight when I am on vacation. I trust them completely!! When I first found Doggone Awesome Pet Services in early 2022, I needed someone to give my diabetic cat an insulin shot twice a day. Cats are inherently shy and distrusting of strangers, but Rachelle was able to give Punky a shot twice a day, every day that we were gone!! Recently, I started fostering a dog (in addition to my own dog), and Rachelle and her sister both jumped in right away to come spend some time with the new dog and assess his behavior so that when I needed the once a week visit there would be no issues. I have recommended Doggone Awesome to a couple of my neighbors who are also thrilled with the service. Rachelle typically does a meet and great with each new client free of charge. I will continue to recommend Doggone Awesome Pet Sitters to people and I will be a client for life!

Doggone Awesome Pet Services is amazing! They do in-home care for my husband's small terrier dog when we go on trips and they are also very quick to respond to emergency situations. They also send picture updates and communicate timely. We are very happy with our service from here.

Fantastic Service. Rachel and Bob have been so friendly and kind. Bob treats our animals like his own. We know that our dog Charlie is always taken care of. The computer scheduling system they use is top notch. It is so easy to add or cancel a dog visit. They are able to do vacations too. We don't know what we would do without them. We work a lot and would never leave our dog unattended too long. I would HIGHLY recommend Doggone Awesome Pet Services!

Very disappointed! Should have taken the hint from our pup when he didn’t want to go in! We made arrangements to drop our pup off at 8am outside of regular business hours. We were meeting others to leave for out of town at 8:30. 8:25 and they still weren’t there. Had to leave and ask someone else to bring our pup back since we had to leave. Picked the dog up and waited 10 - 15 minutes while the girl went back to get our pup. She came out with the pup half wet saying they were bathing him cause they thought we were picking up in the evening but I called the day after we dropped our pup off to check to see how he was doing and stated we would be there Sunday morning at 10am. The dog stunk so bad and had poop stuck on his behind (so much for that bath)! When we asked how he was when we picked him up we got …good. BUT our pup has been sick since we picked him up with diarrhea. Our pup is not him self and even the neighbor said he does not seem like himself when they saw him outside. Have a call into kennel and have not gotten a response back. Update….Did get call back from kennel said they said he had diarrhea the day before pickup and they said it can be stress related. How about saying at pickup he was sick!

Sam was fantastic with my pup!!! She did a beautiful job, texted updates of his progress and made him look cuter than ever! She was also super efficient, grooming him start to finish in an hour. Highest recommendation possible!

We have been using Polyanna Kennels for a year now, but recently we were made aware of some conditions that I did not like thru an anonymous tip, so we became hypersensitive and observant when picking up our dog...he always pulls away and does not want to go in that place, and now I know why. But just this last time our dog stayed for only one night so pick-up time was at 10am. We arrived at 10:10 and the employee stated, "he did not eat breakfast as I just got here". 10am and not even let outside yet??!... He immediately peed a ton on the floor and dark yellow right as we left. Guessing he had to hold it 12+ hours. After the rumors I have heard and this past experience we will not be going back there...

Polyanna Kennels has taken such good care of our fur babies! I highly recommend them! They also do an awesome job grooming them! We have three large dogs and Polyanna treated them wonderfully and are so nice! Their rates are so reasonable too!

Our dog lucee needed her hair cut badly, the good folks at Polyanna worked with my schedule to get her in. They did a first rate job and treated our girl like she was their own. They were professional, fast, efficient, and VERY reasonably priced. I highly reccomend them to anyone that has a pet that needs grooming and wants their pet treated well, and groomed well.

Facility is very nice. Kennels were perfect for our two dogs and I liked that they were able to go outside at all times. Lady wasn't thrilled when I called to check in on dogs two days in, and kind of brushed me off. The young girl working when I picked my puppies was really sweet and my pups were nice and clean after they were groomed.

Love, love , love Pollyannas! They are such a wonderful pleasant group of people to work with. They are accommodating and pleasant, oh, and my dog, Raskal, LOVES them! I think better than he loves me!!! He is always so excited to get there hardly stopping to pee before he goes in the door. Highly recommend!

Corinne and her crew do the best job of caring for my cats as if they were their own! I love getting email updates after every visit. Cannot recommend them enough. I also love their client portal where you can provide detailed instructions and book services at any time.

Corrine and the team are absolutely amazing! They took such amazing care of our three cats and kept us up to date on how everyone was doing (their service reports were both funny and detailed!) And when there was concern that our shy cat hadn't been seen (even after thurough searches), Ali even rearranged our pet cam set up so we could see him better between visits. They all showed our cats so much love and kindness while we were away. This was our first time using a pet sitter and it was such a lovely experience. Corinne and her team are absolutely amazing. We used them for the past seven years for both of our dogs (greyhound and goldendoodle). When we had to say goodbye to our pups, Corinne and our other dog walker Erin, both came by the house to say goodbye. That's how much they care about the animals, and their parents, in their care. This was our first time using a pet care service for our 2 cats while we went on vacation (in the past we always had friends stay at our house). This company was recommended by a friend. My husband and I were so pleased with their services. From my first visit to their website, it was clear this is a well organized and professional company. I love that they have bios of all the pet sitters on the website--you can tell they all love animals and have a great deal of experience caring for animals. I signed up on the website, requested our dates, and was contacted the next day by the owner introducing herself and helping me get set up. We used their services for about 5 overnight stays for our cats. Each morning, we received an email update, letting us know how our cats were doing, such as, did they eat, were their litter boxes cleaned, did they get some TLC, etc. It was great because I didn't have to request updates and it allowed me to focus on enjoying my vacation. The communication with each of the pet sitters was kind, efficient and reliable and there were no issues, everything went very smoothly. They are affordable, too, which makes their services accessible for many different budgets. We will definitely be using Where Sidewalks End in the future.

I’ve boarded my Dixie here a few times and she loves it. I actually live in South Hills Pittsburgh but the drive to Natrona Heights is so worth it. I love that they post pictures each day so I can see what my pup is up to. The facility seems clean and well-kept. The staff is quite friendly as well and I always feel like I’m leaving Dixie in good hands. When I pick her up, she sleeps the whole ride home because she’s so tuckered out from playing. I tend to worry about my pets when I’m away, however when I board Dixie I don’t think twice about it because I know she’s having a blast. I highly recommend Pittsburgh Paws!

I’ve been taking my puppy to Pittsburgh Paws for daycare since she was 5 months old and I won’t take her anywhere else!! She loves going to play with her friends and in the pool all day! She plays all day and sleeps all night. They post pictures daily so you can see what your puppy is up to! The staff is absolutely amazing and they all treat Ellie as if she was one of their own. Highly recommend for boarding and daycare!

I highly recommend Pittsburgh Paws Pet Resort NH! We have taken our border collie there for about three years and have never had any issues. Our pup loves it, wether we take her for daycare or boarding! She has some anxiety but when we take her she’s completely comfortable and happy. She loves all the other dogs and climbing on the big rocks. There’s plenty of space for everyone to run around. Plus they got new turf that looks amazing! The staff are fantastic and the management is outstanding. They have great communication with us, are super personable and have so much love for our pup. We love seeing the photos posted on Facebook of our girl having the best time, especially when we’re on vacation and miss her! We truly feel she is safe in this environment and cared for. Oh! and we like to sometimes purchase an exit bath, highly recommended!

Highly recommend this kennel. I trust them with our three dogs. Super easy booking, register your dogs on line. Friendly courteous staff. They upload pictures to Facebook almost every day. We choose to schedule an exit bath which was free because the dogs were there more than 7 days. All three of our dogs were allowed to play together. They provided us a report card to tell us how they did!

We have been taking our young Labrador Retriever here for over a year and a half. I can’t tell you enough how kind the entire staff is. Rosie absolutely LOVES going to day care and also has kenneled many times while we were on vacation. As a veterinarian I realize the importance of routine socialization as well as play. We were so nervous to try a new daycare for our baby, Aiden Oliver, having moved over an hour from his first and only one. However, Pittsburgh Paws is amazing!!!! The property alone is gorgeous and the facility feels and looks very clean, both inside and out. Fun colors inside too, very fresh and modern. No smells at all!! Friendly staff always. Prices fair to me. Aiden comes home absolutely exhausted (but he doesn't stink!!) and we just know he had a good time. We will continue to use and selfishly hope they don't get too big :)

I cannot sing enough praises for this place. When I went in to tour the facility, I was candid with Marisa about our newly adopted senior dog and what little we knew about his past; she also wanted to be completely transparent that even if Pittsburgh Paws wasn't the right fit for our guy, she'd help us to find one where he'd feel safe and happy. Overjoyed to report that our old guy LOVES going to daycare and we scheduled his first overnight at the dog hotel a few months down the road. After just one half-day of daycare, the staff knew my dog's name and who his new doggie buddies were. Daily photos (posted via Facebook) are just icing on the cake. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend! I’ve been using Lindsey since the beginning of the year! She always sends me a reminder for the days I need for the week! Emily makes sure to keep in touch with me before and after Mavericks walks! She also takes the best pictures! Very grateful to have such a caring service!

We have been using Lindsey's services for a couple of years for our cats when we go away. I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to be able to leave our animals at home in their own environment rather than the stress of a Kennel. With our new kittens we have left them in Lindseys care twice now. We have Lindsey's employee Tracey came twice a day and she is absolutely fantastic and a dream. She sends us an update and photos with every visit which gives us such peace of mind. Lindsey is so easy to get ahold of, attentive, so sweet and you can tell she really loves what she does. LIndsey took me and my boys (2 dogs, one cat) on as a clients after my previous in-home pet sitter retired from the business. Her business is very professionally run and I am comfortable leaving my pets and home in their care while I travel mostly for work. Tracey actually sees my pets and my boys love her! I get a lot of communication and pictures while I am away. Judi, from Your Personal Pet Sitter and Pet Taxi, took such wonderful care of our three dogs. She kept us well informed throughout the day and we enjoyed seeing the pictures she sent us after each visit. We were able to relax and enjoy our day, knowing that our dogs were being well cared for. (Judi even brought in our mail, the newspaper and a package that was delivered.) Max, Lilly and Oscar are looking forward to the next time Judi watches them!

I have six chihuahuas, or rather they have me! Lisa came to my home , learned all their names and special requirements. She gave one his seizure med daily. I received pictures of all while I was away. Lisa offers a special service and I will highly recommend her to babysit your dog(s). I plan to use her service everytime I am able to get away . This is easily the best pet sitters around. They have been walking my 6 month old puppy for the past couple of months for me and they have been amazing every single visit! We prefer not to board our Border Jack, as she is very home-oriented and we want to maximize her comfort when we're gone, and Lisa and her crew have been the perfect solution for us! I am disabled, so when I found her services I was overjoyed. My babies are in very good hands with her. She arrived ahead of schedule came in got a aquatinted with the girls and made them feel comfortable with her before taking them. They were more than happy to go with her to the vet. We have been using this kennel exclusively for close to 20 years. Unless our fur babies are being watched by their grandma, they go to Kim’s Pet Resort. Because all of our dogs are rescues, they can be apprehensive with people, other pets, and surroundings. They are always ready for pampering and are excited to see Kim and comfortable with their surroundings here. Clean and cozy and we always come back to happy puppers! I never have to worry or check in while we are away. ❤️

Our groomer got sick, and we needed to find someone before our puppy got matted. Kim’s came to the rescue and did a fabulous job. Puppy looks great. Very pleased with the grooming. Will definitely return.

I took my Golden doodle for a nail trim. The groomer is always great with our dogs and even welcomes us to accompany our nervous boys too. Their nails grow quite fast, so I wish the price was a bit less. She does do a great job though.

We brought our dog here for day care and boarding. He had so much fun that he didn’t want to leave. The staff is very sweet and even answered my daily phone calls to check in on him. I will never take him anywhere else! He had so much fun playing with the other puppies too.

I took my LéLu for first time to this place and very impressed. It is convenient to get to versus my last groomers location..I was very happy with her cut but was alittle taken back with the deposit you have to put down to set appointment. I NEVER had to do that with any other place but it is not a deal breaker because of the results of how well LéLu is treated and at least that deposit is also used towards the total price which is alittle higher than previous groomers I went to. They even put a cute little bow on her. No other place has ever done that. I will be happy to using them again.

I took my Nike to be groomed today. Carrie was amazing, making me and Nike feel very comfortable. When I picked him up he looked like a little teddy bear…perfect!

I had my dog groomed recently at Walkers. The groomer's name is Maddie. I am so happy about her cut. Suni has never looked this good. Thank you Maddie for a great job. We will be back. Fantastic work. See you soon.

Our dog Piper had a great two days at Walkers! She was exhausted when she came home from all the fun she had. It’s so nice to know she was being cared for by professionals and had a lot of play time while she was there. We will definitely use them again.

My boy Dozer loves going to daycare once or twice a week. It gives him a chance to run off some energy and socialize with other dogs. I have used all their services, daycare, boarding and grooming. I’m very pleased with them all.

Great daycare! They take excellent care of my dog and I do trust them with my pups care. They have excellent customer service and their obedience classes are great too!

They took great care of our dog while we were out of town. The staff is very friendly and cared about our pet. We have also used their grooming services and have found them really reasonable.

I cannot say enough good things about Merry Puppins. My previous dog walker had struggled to bond with my challenging chihuahua and I was looking for a fresh start. The ladies of Merry Puppins have been a huge breath of fresh air! They take their time with my pups, use lots of positive reinforcement, and have worked miracles. I think my dogs might like them more than they like me. The added socialization of having multiple “new friends” has also made a huge difference for my little girl, and she’s much less nervous around new people now and getting better every day.

Merry Puppins treats your animals like family. They know my pups mean everything to me and they show them so much love and care. I love all the photos and journal updates. It really brightens up my day when I'm away from the pups. I truly appreciate everything that they do.

They understand that our “pets” are our family and treat them and us with great kindness. Melissa is very professional, has high standards for herself and her staff. Already my rescue feels safe with her and because dogs are excellent judges of character, so do I. My other little girl is very nervous and Merry Puppins respects her needs.

We love having Merry Puppins take care of our pets while we're away. They are truly knowledgable about animals, extremely trustworthy, and professional. We get updates and photos from them after each visit, and Melissa has even crawled into a small space to make sure my hiding scaredy-cat was doing okay! They can also bring in mail and do a few other minor tasks. Their scheduling system is easy to use, and the interface allows for all of your information and communication to be in one spot. We love their service and highly recommend them!

Really excellent experience. I have 2 rescue dogs: one is a bit dog reactive and has a history of separation anxiety and the other is a pandemic puppy, who is new to me working out of the home and can be a bit shy of strangers in the house. Melissa did great working with both of them, she made sure they were comfortable, filled their water, brought in packages, etc. I also loved getting the little report after the visit with pictures and a description -- it gave me such peace of mind! Definitely excellent value and very worth it -- especially for those of us who can't send their dogs to day care or whose dogs need a little more experienced/specialized hand! Highly recommend!

Everyone at Merry Puppins is so attentive to detail, and so incredibly responsible! My pup has a lot of medical concerns (and comes with a lot of instructions!), and they always take care of everything to the letter. Their updates/check ins are adorable and thorough, and help put my mind at ease!

I after my first weekend using Merry Puppins, I’m completely satisfied! Melissa and Erika took such good care of my kitties. They sent wonderful pictures and notes each time they came and they made me feel very relaxed about it all. Great people!

Mary was the perfect match for my husband and I while we were looking for cat sitters for our two cats, Spook, and Tiny. We were gone for 15 days, and Mary came once a day at the same time every day to feed, pet, and give treats to our boys. She sent daily updates with messages and photos showing us how they were doing, cleaned up their messes, scooped their litter box, and brought our packages in. We slept so soundly and enjoyed our vacation so much more because she made us feel like we were in good hands. Thank you so much, Mary! 10/10 would recommend.

I've been taking my pup here for the last 2 years and he us always so happy to see Allie and Jody. Just got a new puppy and the girls welcomed her with open arms as well. I have absolute peace of mind that my dogs are extremely well taken care of while at PPS.

We would not take our dogs anywhere else. The attention, care, professional knowledge, combined with flexibility and reasonable prices are unmatched in the Pittsburgh area. We use PPS for boarding and daycare. Most importantly, our dogs LOVE it there. We recently had 2 health scares and needed immediate boarding. With one text PPS had us covered and our dogs transitioned from daycare to boarding without missing a beat. No one better in the Burgh.

Allie and her team are awesome! We brought our 5 year old male cat for boarding and grooming a few weeks ago and everything was wonderful! Allie treats her fur kiddo customers like her own :-) So does Jodi! The groomer Justine is fabulous!! She’s been grooming my fur kiddos for years, super trustworthy and listens to your grooming needs. Never disappoints!

I took my pup Riley to be groomed by Justine, I am very pleased with how he was groomed. Justine listened to how I wanted him done. He looks so handsome. Thank you.

We boarded our German Shepherd over the weekend for the first time. The owners were very kind and accommodating and took great care of our girl! I like that they posted pictures and videos on their Facebook page so I could see how she was doing. She looked happy and content! We also had her groomed before we picked her up. Their groomer did a fantastic job and it was more affordable and better quality work than Petsmart where we usually have her groomed. Overall great experience and we will definitely use them again!

Allie came to my home and trimmed my cat's nails. She made an appointment to come over last week but never showed up. Never called or text or answered my calls. Very poor way to do business. I don't trust these people at all

We had utilized pet waste removal services. They were super disorganized and really poor communicators. They used to bill monthly, but then we stopped getting billed. They were continuing to show up to remove the dog poop though. I reached out multiple times with no response via both text and facebook messenger (left on read). Then we got a bill for FIVE MONTHS at once, which we immediately paid. When I asked about when billing would be (monthly, quarterly, every 6 months, etc.) they never responded. About six months later, they just stopped showing up, not notice. They would occasionally not show up a week (and usually when I reached out they'd eventually get back to me that they were behind a day or would be out the following week), so we weren't initially concerned. Turns out they decided to stop servicing our area with no notification, as I saw someone else complaining about being dropped with no notice, too. Took me 3 tries to finally get a response from the owner, Allison. We got set up with Poop911 (who have been doing consistent weekly billing and very reliable) and just moved on. Don't you know, in January, we got a bill from Pittsburgh Pet for services they did FIVE MONTHS prior, in AUGUST. With as inconsistent as they were and such poor communicators, I would not trust them to care for my dog. We were initially interested in daycare for our active pup & talked to Matt about it, but when we realized how poorly they communicated and the inconsistencies with billing, there's no way I'd trust them with the care of my pups.

The owners here are responsible and caring for animals, that's the best thing you can find in a local boarding place. They've taken great care of my dog, even though he kinda aggressive towards strangers, they didn't hesitate a bit. It's made it so we can still take trips without having to worry about our boy. I would definitely recommend checking them out for boarding and daycare.

Wow this place is incredible! We took our 3 pups here today for the first time and we were hands down blown away! The pups had a great spa day and we are happy customers!
