I highly recommend Traci and Damien. I couldn’t have dreamed of better sitters for my pets. It is so clear that they love the pets they care for. They really got to know the personalities of each of my cats and I could see how happy the cats were in the pictures and updates. One thing that stood out to me was how mature and responsible they are. Over the course of the month, they really established a nice life routine. They explored the city during the day, but often spent time cooking at home in the evenings. They are also both avid readers, which meant lots of kitty cuddles during reading time. In addition to taking great care of my cats they also took great care of my home and are extremely self-sufficient travelers. I left them some of my recommendations for favorite places around the city, but they also found so many cool and fun things to do on their own and when I returned – they took me out to show me some new fun things to do in my own city! Because of the timing of my trips over the course of their month-long stay, I had an opportunity to spend some time with them in between and at the end of their sit. I can really say they are kind and wonderful people and I would welcome them back to my home any time – as pet sitters or as friends. I am so grateful to them. I had a lovely vacation because I never had to worry about my pets. They were so well taken care of and loved. Thank you so much Traci and Damien!! I hope you come back to Istanbul to visit us!

Flying Sitter
Frank is a most reliable, thorough and efficient person. He is easy to talk with and was great with all our pets: 3 dogs, 4 cats, chickens and partridges. It was not an easy task for him alone, not only because one of the dogs had a Hotspot which he had to treat every day. It was warm and Frank had to keep an eye on everything in the house, the pool, the orchard and all the animals. Communication with him was outstanding. During our absence he was authorized to use our car and when we came back, we found it spotless like a new one. Also the house and terrace were cleaned and all our pets were happy. We can highly recommend Frank as a sitter.

Pet and House sitter - Madeira
Natasha was an excellent sitter for our 3 large dogs. Communication with her was easy and frequent and she sent lots of photos of the dogs so we were reassured that they were happy and well looked after. We came back to a very tidy, clean house with nothing out of place. We highly recommend Natasha and would welcome her back here anytime to look after our three. Thanks so much Natasha!

Cung was a wonderful cat sitter and housesitter and we would happily invite him back again. He was excellent with our cats and sent plenty of photos, and also left the house impeccably clean. We had to come back a day early and so we got to spend some time with him which we enjoyed as well. 10 out of 10 recommend!

We were very lucky to have had Nia for our recent house sit. She communicated well before the sit and arrived as planned. We shared a meal before we left which gave us time to get to know her and tell her about the house and our pets. After we left it soon became clear the cats loved Nia and the attention she gave them. We were kept informed throughout her stay with regular updates and video clips of what they were up to and how the garden was growing etc. We highly recommend Nia as a pet/house sitter and we would certainly have her back should the opportunity arise. Ruthee was a fabulous pet sitter for our three cats while we were gone for a month. Prior to the sit, she was consistent and communicative; she even came over early for a meet and greet to learn the routine. During the sit, she took great care of our three cats by playing with them (she made a fun cat toy!), scooping litter, feeding and watering them, and sent us text updates and pictures. We came home to happy fur babies and a clean home. She left the place very tidy which was greatly appreciated! We are so thankful for Ruthee and would recommend her should the opportunity arise. Catherine was a wonderful sitter for our 17 year old cat Zabba. She sent us pictures twice a day and kept us informed about Zabba’s daily activities. We came home to a clean home and would definitely recommend her as a pet/ house sitter. My only concern was that she doesn’t drive and with an older cat, I just prayed that Zabba didn’t need to go to the vet…. And he didn’t 🥰. We will ask her again for sure.

Florence was a great sitter for my cat Lily. I booked her a bit last minute, as a previous sitter had to cancel, but was very happy to have her. She was reliable, prompt to respond, and sent picture updates daily at my request. Judging by the pics, Lily warmed up to her nicely and they spent some lounging time together - which is high praise from a cat! Would recommend Florence for your next sit.

Jinnie was an excellent house sitter for me and my cat Felix. Completely responsible and reliable and helpfully flexible. She was willing to work with me as I dithered on whether I was actually going to go on my trip (which was dependent on good weather), and when I finally decided on making my trip one day shorter. House was clean and organized on my return, and, more importantly, my cat was calm and relaxed on my return. I would happily have Jinnie come sit for me and Felix again.

Ann Marie was an excellent house sitter who went above and beyond. She flew in a day early and stayed at a local hotel so we she could meet my cat and get the keys before my early flight the next morning. When I returned, she and Tryke were best friends and the house was immaculate. She even washed the sheets and towels, and remade the bed. I strongly recommend Ann Marie for any future sits!

Greetings Pet People, I am a bit late leaving my review for Kristine who is local to us and has taken care of our kitties Max and Luis a few times this year. After COVID-19 was announced in March, our travel plans came to an abrupt halt. We had to cancel a lot of trips we had planned but decided that it was safe to go camping a couple of times this summer. We called on Kristine as one of our favorite sitters on this site. We discussed safety protocols and agreed to cleaning that we would do to leave the house safe for her to enter. She shared protocols that she had taken with other homeowners and had sound processes to make us feel safe leaving our cats and our home in her care. She even purchased batteries for our automatic cat feeder when it failed to let one of our confused kitties to eat. Kristine is a smart, humorous and a thoughtful person. I would not hesitate to recommend her for your sit. She truly loves animals and taking care of your home. Highly recommended! Thanks Kristine!
