They surprised us by offering to prepare dinner - which they brought with them, along with some delicious wine! While we were gone they regularly sent pictures and updates of our cat. When we came back, the house was in order and the cat was happy. I recommend Mary and Rick!

Wendy and Fred were absolutely amazing! We started with a video call to learn more about each other and the needs of our dogs. From that very first video call I knew they would be great. We remained in contact right up until they arrived, which put me right at ease. We agreed that it would best if they came the day before we were set to depart as a way to acclimatize the pups to having them in our home. The following day we gave them a tour and they asked all the right questions. The dogs were immediately comfortable with them which again put us at ease. While we were away, Wendy and Fred kept us up to date on how the pups were doing with lots of pictures. Its no surprise they were doing just fine!! More than fine actually, Darcy and Fred Bonded, which was easy to tell from all the pictures. The kittens were well taken care of as well, with Wendy giving them some personal TLC. Heading back home is always a pain, as we live 2.5 hours from the airport but Wendy and Fred assured me that they wouldn't leave the dogs until they knew we were safely on the road. When we arrived home, the place was spotless and the dogs were relaxing on the couch. I cannot give them enough praise. They were absolutely amazing. Loving our dogs as if they were their own. I highly recommend them both. Your pups will be lucky to have them

Jackie and Palma were two of the most considerate, kind, and communicative sitters we've ever had. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Not only did they take great care to understand the needs and personalities of my two cats, but they also dealt amazingly well with the fact that one of my cat's, Ernie, had surgery shortly before their sit. As a result, they gave him his daily post-surgery medication, kept him entertained even though he wasn't allowed to fully play, and gave him plenty of affection which I'm sure helped him to heal so quickly! As a sitter, leaving your pet shortly after they've had surgery is extra nerve wracking but Jackie and Palma's detailed, regular updates and clear affection for my cats really put my mind at ease while I was away. I couldn't have asked for a pair of better sitters (thank you!). Besides the top-notch cat care and communication, the flat was left in an absolutely spotless condition when we arrived home. All this to say, if you're lucky enough to have Palma and Jackie apply for your sit - take them up on it!

If I could give Lila 10 stars I would! She was proactive, responsive, kind, lovely to communicate with, responsible, flexible and adaptable, and incredibly tidy. She left the house spotless and took wonderful care of our cats. She was extremely flexible in helping us out with unexpected travel hitches, being able to stay an extra day at short notice. We are incredibly grateful to Lila for taking the worries about our fur babies off our shoulders, and I feel very fortunate to have met her - and knowing that she lives close by I hope she will perhaps come and stay again! We're so grateful to Cory! Cory cared for Otis like he was her own and was superbly organised and really easy to arrange with. We feel terribly guilty, that I became poorly just before going away and Cory caught my illness. Even despite this, she took incredible care of Otis and told us not to worry. Cory is a delight to chat to, we've loved getting to know her and Otis has certainly loved her company. I'd recommend Cory without hesitation- she's wonderful!

Tom and Keith were amazing, I cannot recommend them more. They were very organised, and made sure they had asked any questions they needed to before the sit. We left instructions for our dog, cats and tortoises and they had no problems following them. The house was left super tidy, and all the animals were incredibly relaxed and happy when we returned. The perfect sitters. The real test of how amazing they were was demonstrated in how incredibly understanding and relaxed they were about the water issue we had during their sit. The day before we left for our holiday, we discovered a problem with the water supply to our house. There was just a trickle of water. We had to get plumbers in whilst they were there, and they had to cope with very little water during the sit. We were so worried during this time about it all, and they were so wonderful in coping with it. Thank you Tom and Keith, we welcome you back any time should you wish to return, and I promise this time no water issues!

Peter and Jackie left us yesterday and are 2 dogs are definitely sulking!! The dogs clearly adored them as did we. We were away for a month and had a wonderful time knowing our home and pets were in such amazing hands. I knew from our first chat on zoom that they were a dream team and they really are. They are both extremely easy to warm to, so likeable and nothing was too much trouble. A total delight and Im so so pleased we found them and our dogs were showered with love and affection while we were away and kept nice a busy. Our home was immaculate too and Peter even kindly washed the cars. There were no real emergencies while we were away apart from a leaky roof (!) but i know both would cope with any unforeseen dramas calmly and brilliantly. I would love to have them back and if you get the chance do snap them up. Most definitely a 11/10 from us.

Cynthia was a perfect pet sitter for our little kitty. We knew from her extensive experience with cats that Nala was in good hands. She was extremely responsive via texts when we were away, ensuring us that the 2 of them were having a great time. She went absolutely above and beyond by scrubbing our bath and toilets to remove our mineral deposit rings that we haven't been able to get rid of! She even left the name of the product she used so we can get more in the future. The house was cleaner than when we left. We'll have her back anytime!

Sabre is a sweet, honest person who stepped up at the very last moment (after the prior sitter flaked out) to watch our dog and cat for 17 days. When there were a couple minor accidents, she informed us of them right away. One involved a burnt pan (easy to do if you’re not familiar with an induction stovetop) which she offered to replace. Sabre also washed the towels and sheets, and made up the bed before we got home. The yard was pooper scooped and litter box was clean. Pets seemed well-cared for. When she had to leave town for several hours one day, she made sure to arrange for our neighbor take care of the pets. Additionally, I appreciated how she didn’t assume that it would be ok to bring her cat. When we found out she was going to keep her cat in a kennel during her stay here, we told her she could bring him which worked out fine. Overall, I would confidently recommend Sabre to watch your pets and house.

Brian is a very professional sitter that does a good job, pays attention to details and is easy to work with. I have a lot of plants. A lot. He suggested me do a video for the plant care so he could be sure of which ones needed what. Brilliant! I’d never thought of that. They were in great shape when I returned. I explained that I needed some flexibility with travel dates, he agreed and rolled with the punches like a champ when my dates did indeed change. Unfortunately, he was a bit allergic to my cat but made it work anyway. He was really awesome about everything including a tree that fell next door in a storm and blocked the road for three days. I appreciate that he appreciated how funny and how much personality Boo has. They got along well and I received some great videos. I returned home to a happy cat and a house well taken care of 😊. Catherine was wonderful! She took care of my cat and house while I was out of town and left and Jack the Cat very and calm and the house in perfect shape which I so appreciate. I could return home and attend to other things rather than cleaning house. I would recommend her as a sitter to anyone. Angel was absolutely the best house sitter we could have hoped for. She is a very warm, open and diligent person and our two cats adored her. She looked after our house and garden with really conscientious care. She won over our very timid cat, Billie, and sent regular photos of both cats looking supremely content which gave us perfect peace of mind. The house was completely spotless on our return and the garden was fabulous... no mean feat since there was a heatwave while we were away and she kept everything watered and in great condition. If Macie and Roman ever apply to your post for a house or pet sit, I strongly encourage you to jump at the. offer. You will not be disappointed. They are among the top (if not the top) sitter I've ever had and I've been on this site for years. Primarily, they are very organized. In the weeks and days leading up to the sit, Macie and Roman kept me abreast of their plans and status. I felt very comfortable in the days leading up to the sit because I knew the plan we made to exchange the keys and walk them through the instructions would work as planned. Second, Macie and Roman really care. When they got to my apartment after a very long morning of traveling, I explained the care instructions and they were very attentive and cared about the details - asking very specific questions on how to care for my cat and apartment. I had some pretty specific rules about how to feed my cat and take care of him and Macie and Roman followed those exactly. Third, Macie and Roman make you feel comfortable while you are away. I got daily or twice daily updates about my cat. I got pictures which made me feel like my cat was having a good time. My cat came out of hiding very quickly and was snuggling with them and letting them hold him. It was so nice to see the pictures of them all bonding! Macie and Roman have a calming energy towards animals for sure! Macie and Roman were also very responsive when I reached out first - replying within 30 minutes. I really appreciated that. Fourth, Roman and Macie will take good care of your apartment/house. I came back to a SPOTLESS apartment. The towels were washed. The apartment had been vacuumed. The kitchen was clean. The dishwasher had been run. Everything was in its place when I returned. Honestly, cleaner than when I left it which is difficult since I am a very clean person. Macie and Roman also respects your property. We had a room we asked them not to enter and they respected that. In short, Macie and Roman are amazing. I would have them back in a heartbeat. Kristine was wonderful again as our local sitter from just down the street. The boys take to her like she is their best friend whenever she comes to sit with them. She sent us photos of them playing, relaxing, drinking water and eating so we knew they were well taken care of. The house and the cats were in excellent shape and excellent hands while we were away.
