Couldn’t recommend Randy more highly. Great communication and my cats loved him. Probably the most relaxed I’ve ever been on a trip because he put me and my pets at ease. 10/10!

Peter had instant connection with our dog Lila. It was nice to watch how quickly Lila bonded to him. The other pets, specially the cats, where happy with him too. He was trustworthy and reliable. He came the day before to learn the ropes and we could feel the house and pets were in good hands. We highly recommend him and will have him again when he is available.

Callie and AJ are great sitters! Very friendly, communicative, and tidy. We got daily photos of our pets and updates on how they were doing - we never had to wonder how things were going at home. The peace of mind and kind demeanor that Callie and AJ bring is invaluable, and we would gladly welcome them to housesit for us again!

Everyone should have the chance to travel - we want ours to make yours easier!
Stacey and Jeremy did a 3 week sit for our senior dog Floyd while we were traveling. They were very meticulous, following our instructions to the letter. They were so sweet to keep us updated and sent us pictures of Floyd being his cute self. We were comfortable knowing our home and pet were in good hands while we were away. I would recommend them without hesitation for future sits

Two Ladies...Travelin' Chicas! Take that trip...We're here!
We're very grateful for connecting with Johnna / "the girls" and knowing our house & animals we're being well cared for while we were gone for 7 weeks! They even implemented some positive adjustment (e.g. dog bed, dog toys, a kitchen table we realized afterwards was poorly placed, and advice for some rail dust on our vehicle). Thanks again! We hope you really enjoyed your stay.

Another outstanding sit by Coral! We love Coral and feel so fortunate to have her stay with us and to watch Archie. She is a 5 star in every way...she is smart, responsible, reliable, attentive, fun, easy to communicate with and a great picture taker! We loved getting her daily updates with her and Archie's adventures including pictures that were just so cute. She is neat and tidy and has the whole house-sitting gig down to a science. We trust her completely and would highly recommend her for any house and/or pet sitting job.

Katie did a great job staying at our home with our aging dog and 2 cats. She was very communicative and sent us pictures, which we appreciated. She also left the house in great shape, which is always a delight.

Carole and Ron are excellent cat-sitters! They took very good care of my cat Lola and of my house. I came home to a happy cat and a very clean and tidy house. They sent me pictures of Lola and kept me updated, so that I had a very relaxed holiday. I very highly recommend them as cat- sitters and I would be thrilled if they would come back to sit for Lola again. Thank you so much!
Cung was a wonderful cat sitter and housesitter and we would happily invite him back again. He was excellent with our cats and sent plenty of photos, and also left the house impeccably clean. We had to come back a day early and so we got to spend some time with him which we enjoyed as well. 10 out of 10 recommend!
There are not enough words in the English language to express my deepest gratitude to Teresa and all the amazing love and care she showed my sweet cat Milo. From the moment she met Milo, I knew there was going to be a very special bond. He instantly relaxed when he first met and already looked so happy and at peace with her. The bond between the two of them only seemed to get stronger and stronger with every day that I was away. This two-week trip was so important for me as it was the first real "vacation" I had taken in a few years. I was in desperate need of a mental and physical break and knew that in order to have a true "time off', I needed to feel completely at peace with Milo being well-taken care of. Well my prayers were answered as Teresa was the "cat whisperer" I was hoping for. I could not have asked for a better, more compassionate, self-reliant, and intuitive sitter ! Teresa was also so diligent in sending me her daily picture and video updates of my cat. With every picture and video I saw, I knew that Milo was so happy being with her and I never worried for one minute while I was away. What a gift ! Teresa was also a serious life-saver for me as literally an hour before I was leaving for my trip, I found out my cat's tracker app was not working and after a few emails and phone calls, we found out the tracker's server was down. Teresa took the initiative to follow up with getting the tracker to work again which was a HUGE stress-relief for me . She is not only wonderfully savvy with animals but also with technology as well ! I feel so fortunate to have Teresa in my life now, not only as an amazing sitter for Milo but also as a wonderful friend for life! Thank you, Teresa for everything.... Milo and I so appreciate you .....
We are thoroughly pleased with and impressed by Daniel's kind, generous, and careful care of our cat and our house. He is a committed and experienced sitter who completely understands his role and responsibilities and also how to gently win the confidence and affection of a pet. He is an excellent communicator, and he kept us regularly up to date on our cat's well being--sending us texts and photos at least once/week as we requested. Our cat who is a little afraid of new people, grew fond of him, and we have returned to a very calm, contented cat. We highly recommend Daniel, and we ourselves would be thrilled to engage him again when the need arises.
Wow! Just wow! We cannot say enough about the care and compassion Trisha and John provided to our cats and our home. We are always somewhat nervous about a new pet sitter in our home, but that all faded when we met this wonderful couple. They provided daily updates as requested, complete with pictures, videos and personalized captions. Upon our return, we were greeted by happy and content kitties. There was no sign of anxiety in Tika! Yea!!! Our home was clean, the sheets and towels were washed and bed remade! They even left behind thank you notes and little gifts! What a breath of fresh air these two individuals are! We hope to have them back again soon.
Jenny was an absolute delight, lovely to speak to and patient with last minute changes. I have had bad experiences with trusting people with my cats before so was really anxious as Jenny is the first house sitter I have used from zeewoi. But, I felt at ease as soon as I spoke to her, she has a lovely manner and she came round the day before the sit to male sure she had every detail right. But I think the thing that helped the most was her regular updates about my cats. I could see from the videos she sent they were given lots of love and attention. My cats don't usually play with people but my little girl seemed to love her! My flat was immaculate when I got back as well, I am so grateful to Jenny for all her help and really hope to have her sit for me again!
This was the second time Cung sat for us and once again he was amazing! Cung was great with our cat, giving him lots of love and attention. Our cat was so comfortable he snuggled up with Cung frequently, which he doesn’t always do with strangers. We got daily updates and pictures. When we returned we could tell our cat was well taken care of. Cung was so organized and clean, as well. Our apartment was spotless when we returned. That’s always nice after coming home from vacation. You should definitely have Cung sit for you! One of the top sitters on this site.
Tracy was an ideal pet sitter when we left for 12 days. She was communicative, friendly, and most importantly took perfect care of our two cats and our house. I would highly recommend her for any sit!
My husband and I reached out to Toby & Chloe after reading their profile and impressive reviews only a week before our trip, since our scheduled sitter had to cancel at the last moment. They were very friendly and quick to respond to chat from the very beginning, and ended up exceeding our expectations during their two week stay. It was evident they had thoroughly read our Welcome Guide beforehand, as they arrived knowledgeable and prepared to care for our home and pets. They were very willing and happy to take the necessary time with us to walk through the house and meet our cats, as we got them acclimated with our daily routines and answered any questions. Shortly after we left, our city had a heat wave come through, and after immediately notifying us, Toby went beyond the call of duty and inspected our struggling AC unit to pinpoint the issue. As far as cat care is concerned, we have two seniors (who have more sensitive tummies) that can get irritated after a fur ball or swallowing anything out of the ordinary. When this occurred, Toby & Chloe stepped in and took wonderful care of our cat duo; softening their food and even cradling while hand-feeding them for extra comfort. We truly could not have asked for more affectionate and responsible sitters. We returned to a spotlessly clean home, happy cats, and well maintained plants and pool. (They even cleaned our dusty Kitchen pendant lighting, which requires a steady hand and is definitely a time-commitment …We felt like professional housecleaners had been there!) On our way back, Toby & Chloe stayed in communication with us to monitor our arrival time, allowing them to care for our cats until just before we got home. Overall, they are very reliable and trustworthy sitters whose genuine goal is to provide a top-quality sit, while maintaining your household and seamlessly transitioning to your pets daily schedule.
Rick and Sally are marvelous cat sitters and we would gladly have them back anytime. We highly recommend them to any and all pet owners. They arrived when they said they would and were ready to go when we returned, making sure our cats were present before departing. Our home was left spotless, undoubtedly better than we left it for them. We can't urge you enough to engage them if you can!
Is it better to board cats or leave at home?
Veterinarians advising to leave cats at home with a pet sitter who will stay overnight in your home, boarding is not recommended for cats as they are stressed in a new environment, you can find a sitter who will care for your cats and home for free at Zeewoi.
How much should you pay someone to watch your cat?
At least $20 per visit, $14/day per overnight watching in your home, otherwise you can find a free sitter at Zeewoi.
What do people do with their cats when they go on vacation?
Inviting a cat sitter to your home, boarding the cat with a local business, asking a friend, family or neighbour to feed and check the well-being. The most efficient way to leave your cat during your vacation is with Zeewoi cat sitters for free, in this way, you will save cat sitting costs and make vacation not only for you but also for your cat sitter!
I knew my dogs were cared for to my level care during their stay with Belen. She sent daily updates, easy to talk and communicate with, and loved my dogs. Meeting her I knew she would care for my dogs the way I do. Now that I’ve picked them up and seen how happy but exhausted they were, I knew I made the right choice!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Bell was very accommodating and communicative leading up to our dog’s stay with her. Our dog was with her for almost two weeks and had such a great time! Bell was great at sending pictures and keeping us updated on how our dog was doing. Will for sure use her services again if ever needed!
Bell has been great! I wanted a good place for my tiny dog to interact with other animals and she has had so much fun with Bell and the animals at her home. My puppy comes home exhausted after a day of running and playing with a big dog and little kitten. She's always excited to see Bell! She's conveniently located in Provo and has a spacious, well fenced yard. She's also been patient as we finalize potty training with my puppy. I plan to send my girl here at least one day a week for the foreseeable future.
This was our first time leaving our baby behind for a quick trip and Bell was absolutely fantastic. We got daily updates with pictures and I was super happy to see how my baby was safe and loved :) Bell is super responsive, sweet, and responsable. We even forgot his food bowl upon pick up and she delivered it to my house the next morning! 10/10 thank you so so much!
I could not be more delighted with a daycare center for my dog. Belle goes out of her way to make us feel welcome and my little miniature poodle absolutely loves going to see her. Belle sends midday updates of how my Lucy is doing. I find that my little one is becoming calmer because of her interactions at daycare. Belle has seamlessly integrated Lucy into the " pack" of the other dogs left in her care. If it were possible to leave six stars, I would do so.
My dog loved her 3 day stay with Belen and she didn’t even seem like she wanted to come home so I know she had a great time. Top notch.
Belen is our favorite sitter for our Great Pyrenees. She always has a wonderful time and is so well taken care of. Belen always communicates with us well and she truly loves on our pup.
I have had the pleasure of working with Belen on several occasions. I cannot express how thrilled I am with the exceptional care she provided. From the moment I dropped off my beloved pup to the day of pick-up, the experience was nothing short of pawsitively perfect. She genuinely loves the dogs as she takes the time to get to know them. She always sends regular updates with pictures and videos. The regular updates allow me to unwind on vacation, and to be stress free. I wholeheartedly recommend Belen and am super grateful for her!
We left our fur babies with bell! She was great! She updated me everyday!! The puppies looked like they had so much fun!
Bell was so amazing for our puppy. She sent us many photos and updates about her. She went above and beyond helping our puppy with her specific needs as well.
Ruff House is the BEST dog daycare!!! We have a 6.5 year old husky who was been going here for a little over 2 years now, and she loves this place more than ANYTHING! The staff is so amazing - I love that Courtney and Hunter regularly give us updates on how Luna's day was, and I really appreciate their overall levels of customer service. It's so fun to be able to walk in and have the staff recognize both me and my dog without me having to say a thing! We (us and the dog) are excited to keep using Ruff House while we live here. The attached photos are from some of the photo updates they provide during overnight stays :)
Okay, so my dog is awesome. Of course she is. At Ruff House, they definitely treat her like the amazing creature she is. They are just as excited to see her and she is to go play her butt off all day and take such great care of her. I don't trust many people with my pup but she always comes back with smiles!
This place rocks. Very similar to our favorite dog place in TX. The staff have done an AMAZING job with our anxiety nutcase dog! The updates on your pup while on vacay is such an awesome plus! And the complimentary bath with extended vacay stay?!? So awesome to have a clean dog upon pick up!
My dog is now a little over 1 year. At about 9 months she had such a bad experience with a groomer. I won't name there here but she was totally traumatized from the experience. Ruff house is where we decided to take her after months of not going to the groomers and of grooming ourselves (she was cute but you can tell she didn't go to a groomer). We looked at reviews and checked the place out and everything was wonderful and exactly what you expect a groomer facility should look like--- and way way more. It was a wonderful experience for her. We are lifetime customers!!
Mary S. has been grooming my Shihtzu for several years. He is not the most well mannered boy when it comes to grooming but she has been awesome! She is very calm and we have never had an issue and he looks gorgeous every time. We had a bad experience with a previous groomer (not at Ruff House) so we are very happy!
Mary did an exceptional job grooming our one year old micro goldendoodle, Mave, who’s had traumatic experiences with PetSmart groomers in the past. PetSmart made it sound like we, his owners, were the problem for Mave’s anxiety, and even flagged us from taking him to another Petsmart groomer. Ruff House was an entirely different experience! Mave looks amazing and seems so happy and confident with his new look and we absolutely love the work she did on him, nothing was untouched. THANK YOU, Mary! We are so happy with the results and will definitely book with you again. After having two separate nightmare experiences at the groomers at the AF Petsmart, I was so anxious about taking him to the groomers again. Thanks to Mary, our confidence in having Mave groomed by a professional, has been restored. FIVE STARS!
We seriously can’t thank the ruff house enough for being so good to our Lady and us for when we book last minute things for our girl! Our girl also absolutely loves going to the ruff house she definitely gets home tired! Now the staff is also always so informative when it comes to her days or just in general how she’s doing. They are always friendly and respectful! They definitely deserve more positive reviews!
I boarded my puppy using the premium boarding package and got updates on her walks and 1 on 1 play time everyday of my vacation. It was so nice getting the multiple pictures a day, it really put me at ease because I knew she was having a lot of fun. Very good staff. They took great care of my baby! I attached an example of the types of pictures I got from her walks and play time. When she wasn't on a walk or 1on1 play time, she was in open play! It's so comforting knowing she wasn't stuck in a kennel all day.
I have boarded my dog here twice now. The first time I left her was great! She had a blast she stayed for two nights. We got updates on her. She seemed to have a blast. The second time I boarded her here. I left her all of the meals she would need, and when I picked her up, they gave me all of her meals back, they didn’t charge me for using their food, so I am guessing she didn’t eat for 3 days because when we got home she was so hungry. I don’t know that I’ll be boarding her here anymore. I will be taking her to Sydney’s Bed and Biscuit instead. I just don’t think they pay enough attention to feeding and caring for the dogs here. My dog is my world and when I board her I need to trust that she will be fully cared for.
Are you looking for a new groomer for your pup? Are you browsing through Google reviews for a great place to take your doggo that is recommended by a bunch of other dog parents? STOP!!! Look no further because Ruff house is the best place you'll find in Utah county. They do an AMAZING job. My Goldendoodle has visited the Ruff house for her hair to be cut, nails trimmed and to be pampered by a professional. Ruff house goes above and beyond, they will exceed your expectations. And they are actually reasonably priced! But don't be cheap - be sure to tip your groomer. They also offer boarding services, but I have not taken advantage of that as of yet.
Love my dog more than my kids half of the time. Had to leave him for a week. Could not have left him at a better place. They called us halfway through the week to tell us that "he was their buddy". When we picked him up he was washed, fed and calm. My dog told me later that night that he enjoyed his vacation too... Would highly highly recommend this place
Great boarding services! Our dog sitter canceled on us last minute before our vacation, so we contacted Ricmar Kennels and they got us booked right away and were very accommodating. When we picked our dogs up they were happy and healthy. I could tell they had a great time! The staff were very kind, informative, and easy to work with. Our dogs will be back for more doggy fun the next time we are out of town!
Loved Ricmar Kennels! Had a last minute emergency trip and Ricmar was extremely nice and accommodating! Facility was very nice and clean, and our dog seems very happy there. Love that they play with the dogs and let them socialize with each other during playtime. Felt like our dog 'Sugar' was very well treated and cared for. This will be our go to kennel when we need to board our dog! 😀
Luckily we were able to board our German Shepard here overnight to go on a last minute camping trip. They were friendly and our boy enjoyed playing with the other dogs!
They treated our dog Otis very well! he was clean and bathed when we picked him up this is our second time going there and we will for sure be there again with our dog
We are 100% happy with Ricmar Kennels and will most definitely bring our dogs back! We have a socially awkward Czech Shepard who normally stresses when we leave. Our dog had no problem there and even got close with the owner. That shows us that our dogs were definitely happy and taken care of!! Definitely appreciate them for taking care of our pups.
Ricmar Kennels is our go-to place for our dog!!! He gets anxious being away from us, but every time he's stayed at Ricmar Kennels he has had so much fun, and has even not wanted to leave once or twice! The owners take amazing care of the dogs and you can tell they really care. Our pup got lots of play time with other dogs that he got along with, and even was given a complimentary bath before we took him home. We will never go to any other kennel!!! If I could give a place 10 out of 5 stars, this would be the place!
Such an amazing experience. We had to board our dog for a few days, along with his sister, while we were in California. I chose Ricmar Kennels because of the high reviews. When we arrived, I knew it was going to be a great experience for Cap. There weren't any issues while we were gone and Cap was as happy as ever when we picked him up, giving love to the owner before we left. Would definitely recommend for short or longer boarding times.
This place is amazing, and the guys who work there are awesome. They really care about the health and well-being of all dogs. Their facility is very professional, inviting, and so clean. I worked in different kennels for years and I was very impressed by this place. I highly recommend this kennel for your boarding needs. Your dogs deserve it!
We've been using Ricmar for 3 years for our German Shepherd anytime we go on vacation or a long weekend away. He absolutely loves it there and gets to play with other dogs. Their facility is clean and they are very friendly and genuinely care about my dog. I recommend them to anyone that asks.
We highly recommend! We have done both training and boarding here. Our dog is well cared for while being boarded. The staff talks about how much they love him. Our dog is still learning dog social cues so he plays separately from the other dogs and I appreciate that they accommodate to his needs. My goal is to be able to go to pet friendly stores with our dog. We have been doing group classes for just a few months now and he has improved so much! He used to bark and lunge on a leash every time he saw a dog. Now he is able to focus with other dogs around and he only lunges every once in a while. And it’s only been a few months! We’re so happy with his progress. The trainers are wonderful and work hard to make sure you and your dog are comfortable! We love the positive reinforcement focused training.
Bandits Stay and Play in Orem is hands down the best place for our dogs! The staff is beyond amazing—caring, thoughtful, and so genuinely sweet. Every time we brought our pups here, they were treated like family. Our dogs absolutely loved staying here, and it was always comforting to know they were in such good hands. What truly blew us away was their kindness when they learned we were moving. They surprised us with a going-away basket for our dogs that was filled with treats, toys, blankets, laminated photos, and even a handwritten message from every single staff member. The notes were so heartfelt and showed how well they truly knew and cared for our dogs. We can’t thank Bandits Stay and Play enough for the love and care they’ve given our fur babies. If you’re looking for a place where your dogs will be treated like royalty, this is it. They go above and beyond in every way! Highly recommend!
Bandits stay and play is an awesome facility. The trainers are amazing. We did the 2 week training for our dogs and we noticed changes from basically day 2. We 100% recommend. After the 2 week training, you get 2 coaching sessions which helps a lot to continue training your dogs. Enoch is great and super knowledgeable. Gunner and Enzo loved going there. Thanks! 🙏 🐕
My dogs love the Bandits! They had a great time playing there when we boarded them for two weeks. The staffs are nice and friendly, and very responsive whenever I have questions. My dogs also were bathed and groomed, and they came home clean and smelling amazing! I've also used Enoch's training program for my husky. Well, one day I took my pup to the vet for exam, and the doctor and nurse commented that this was a well behaved husky!! I guess I have Enoch to thank for!
So the conventional wisdom is that doggy day care / boarding is always a last resort because dogs are dogs yet business is business so if your dog comes home alive it's either dumb luck, facility-wide 24/7 crating, or your dog was the biggest one there. Bandit's so far has done a ton to change my mind for the better. Maybe it actually is possible to do right by the dogs yet somehow remain affordable to regular folk! I've been taking my dog to Bandit's for half-day "play dates" for a few months now. It was meant to be a sort of emergency stop-gap until I could make permanent arrangements for regular care, but the thing is, she loves it there. We haven't had a single injury yet, not even small ones. She comes home bouncy and cheerful and then slides into a contented nap after each visit. I see the staff engaging in sound behavioral practices at each drop off and pick up. And it hasn't had any negative effects that I can see around things like reactivity or training setbacks. Seems to me that Bandit's is doing a great job at actually being a serious dog care facility that is positive for the dogs and not just the convenience needs of the owners. Which is amazing if you think about it, and pretty rare. Bottom line, Bandit's has become a frequent spot in my dog's life and I hope they stay around and continue to be great because she'd miss it if we had to stop. No complaints, and much hope that they keep going just as they have since we started visiting.
I took my Alusky to get groomed and the lady did Amazing! My dog looked so beautiful, shiny and the bow was the cutest touch. She was so nice and so gentle with my dog. I was very pleased with my experience, and would highly recommend them!
When I was growing up, you just tossed the dog whatever dry food was at the supermarket and left him in the house all day, regardless of how long you were out. There just wasn't a lot of consideration about what the dog wanted or needed beyond a quick pet and the occasional pizza crust. When we adopted our 7 year old pitty at the start of this year, I think we kinda thought it would be much the same. Come to find out, they were medicating him pretty heavily in the shelter and he actually has a lot more in common with me than the dogs of my youth (very whiny, anxious when left alone, and sooo stubborn, but also classically good looking and very into snacks). We wanted to do the right thing for him, so we found a daycare for him. He started coming home with scratches very regularly and we thought maybe that was normal because he was just a big boy rough-housing. One day, he came home with his face shredded up and was really having trouble walking. I took him right to the vet and they gave him meds and of all kinds. The IT guy at the daycare (whom they were calling the manager) eventually told me that no one was watching the dogs when my dog got attacked, but they refused to take responsibility. We decided he would not be going back there and weren't super optimistic about daycares, but decided to get some information about Bandit's. Enoch (the owner) was the one to correspond with us by email. He said come on by and we could tour any time. When we came by for the tour, Enoch was at the desk by coincidence. He showed us the entire facility; nothing was hidden. He answered our questions. Months later, we adopted our pitty's best friend at Bandit's. They both love it there. More important than that, I know they are safe. Neither of them has yet to come home with a scratch. Enoch assures us that they are always supervised and they get breaks when they need them. The folks there care about our dogs and they know what they're doing. Enoch has a bunch of initials after his name and, again, we see him constantly. Trained, invested folks are actively involved with the care of our dogs everyday. Additional shoutouts to Emily and some of my dogs' favorite people, Ben and Kingston. And myriad other people we see all the time whose names are still a mystery to us. Short version: Your dog is safe and attended here.
I recently moved to the area and was looking for a groomer. I found bandits and decided to give them a try. My dog has been groomed 8+ times before coming here and I have never been told he was difficult to groom or acted out. Bandits said he was very defiant and they had a very hard time trimming him in lots of areas. He came out with lots of long and uncut spots. Mainly his paws, underarms, sanitary area, ears and top of his head. His haircut was super uneven and I asked them for specifications and nothing I asked for was done or kept. They also Charged me for a 70 lbs plus dog and he only weights 50-55 pounds. It took them 3 plus hours and he doesn’t even look like they tried for more than an hour. As far as there grooming services I was not impressed and will not go back.
Everyone here is super friendly and they all care so much about my dog pickles. They all are keeping me updated on how he’s doing in groups as well as giving me tips and answering any questions I’ve had whether it comes to training or just anything to do with dogs in general. Bandits stay and play is 100% the best place I could ask for to take my furry buddy!!!
The people here are so kind to us and (most importantly) our dogs. One of our boys is pretty timid and the groomer is so gentle with him! We have had our boys stay here for boarding, daycare, training, and grooming and all of the services have been fantastic. We are super grateful for all you do! Thank you!
We were coming in from out of town and found Hardy’s. The price was great and they took great care of our 2 dogs. Would definitely use them again.
We've taken our dog here several times as the price was good and they were almost always available last minute and we are bad at planning 😬. It's run just out of a house and I (stupidly) never took the time to see where the dogs were kept or ask many questions about how they're cared for while there. It's something I always meant to ask about after our first last minute visit there, but then I felt awkward asking to see the inside of their home after I had already left her there and nothing happened. I regret not asking more questions now. We dropped our dog off yesterday around 9am and picked her up today at 2:20pm. She was only there for a little over 24 hours. They didn't say anything to us when we picked her up, but as soon as we got home we realized she had a deep puncture wound and a scratch on her shoulder. It was bleeding bad enough that the blood dripped all the way down to her stomach and was caked on her fur. After making her a vet appointment I called Hardy's to ask what happened. They basically said they didn't know and hadn't noticed anything. They also mentioned that they apparently hadn't let her outside the whole time she was there. Which is also super concerning. I know petcare is expensive and inconvenient usually, and that this place solves both of those issues but I'll never use their services again if they didn't even notice that my dog was bleeding everywhere, nor know what caused it when she was only there a little over 24 hrs. Pictures are the best view we could get of the wound and where the blood was when she got home. Will try to update if we get better pictures at the vet tomorrow. Take your dog somewhere else, please! Update: My dog ended up needing surgery and had a 4x5in wound in her shoulder under the skin all the way down to her scapula. Hardys completely paid for her vet bill and after some investigating they think she hurt herself on a fallen tree branch outside. The thing about her not going out while she was there was a miscommunication and they say they did let her out, they just didn't let her out with other dogs because she didn't like the other dog they were taking care of at the time. It's still an unfortunate situation that I wish didn't happen but they were apologetic and took responsibility for it, and accidents happen.
This was my dog's first time at the groomer, so I was really nervous, but everything went wonderfully. Gary was very nice and helpful, answered all my questions. The grooming is done at his house, so it isn't like most big name groomers, but he still did a great job. The price was perfect for my limited budget. Will definitely use him again. Thank you!
We had scheduled months in advance to have them watch our dog. We are suppose to be leaving tomorrow morning. We called and no answer. It almost seems like we are blocked because it goes straight to hanging up. I called last week to confirm and to have them meet our dog and she confirmed but refused to meet our dog. This puts us in a hard spot and now we are scrambling to find a dog sitter now because we are leaving tomorrow morning for Thanksgiving! We are very frustrated.
We had a great experience! We took our puppy, Bruno, today for a grooming appointment. He smelled amazing after his appointment, and his fur was cut well. Good cost too.
I have Always had a very positive experience with Gary as our groomer! He has been taking care of BOTH of our dogs for almost two years now! Not ONE time have our dogs come back with anything negative. I HIGHELY recommend Gary. Dogs know and can sense Good people! Gary's good people and most importantly a Good Groomer!
I trust Mr. Hardy enough to leave my dog with him for 7 days. He is genuine and kind to his customers. He is also sensitive to my dog's needs from what I saw. His price is also reasonable and within my "college" budget.
Gary did such a great job on our goldendoodle. Super nice guy. He was able to get us in within a few days and he is very affordable. We'll be using Hardy's from now on.
The worst place to bring you pet!!! My husband wanted to surprise me and have our dog groomed so he took him here because he was the only shop available at the time. WORST DECISION EVER!!!! I came home to my dog with bald spots everywhere and under his arms were cut skin!!! When my husband picked him up he didn't notice anything, the guy said.. my razor got a little deep on some parts. My dog looks homeless and is miserable. The house looks so sketchy too!! Please, if you LOVE your pet, DO NOT BRING THEM HERE!
If I could give this groomer 0 stars, I wholeheartedly would. Any positive reviews I can assure you came from the groomer or his wife. First let me say when we picked up our dog, a standard poodle, my husband and I were in so much shock we couldn't even refuse to pay. Here's what we asked for: The top notch on her head and her ears to be cut to match the length of her body, which is about 1 in long. The puff on the end of her tail to be cut to match the length of the hair on her tail. ONLY the pads of her feet to be trimmed because hair was growing around the pads. Nothing cut anywhere else. What we got: Her head and ears cut to half the length of her body hair. Her tail SHAVED EXCEPT FOR the puff. Her feet TOTALLY shaved. Her muzzle shaved. And a nice chunk of hair completely missing on her head behind her right ear. I don't know about you, but that sounds to me like the complete opposite of what we asked for. If I could post the before and after photos, you would be just as horrified as we were. Not only that, but she smelled horrible and left dirty paw prints everywhere in the car. When we called to tell him how angry we were about how she looked and how dirty she still was, all he would say is how he definitely gave her a bath. Yeah, okay. While this doesn't matter for his grooming skills, it matters to me. Our dog's collar fits only on the loosest hole. The groomer felt the need to choke her out and put the collar three notches tighter. Do NOT take your animal here. Go anywhere else. Anywhere. We are so upset about everything done at this appointment and are even taking her to get groomed again just so she doesn't look like a freak until everything grows out again. Oh, and as for the review saying dogs can recognize good people, Gary had to literally drag her to even get her to take a step into his house. How's that for "good people."
Andrew is the best! He takes wonderful care of my GSD Sophie and going out of town has become less stressful. He’s willing to teach and is very knowledgeable about all things dog. Would recommend boarding or training services from Andrew.
Andrew is the best. Our go to guy for anything dog. He trained our GSD and we have boarded both our dogs here multiple times. Only place my wife trusts with her fur babies.
Amazing service! She is very professional, organized, and a warm hearted dog lover. We never felt concerned or worried while our boxers were staying there for a week. They got PLENTY of play time! We loved how she would send pics / vids of them whenever requested. Our pups were happy when we picked them up. We will go here again 10/10
This is the best place I have ever taken my dogs to! Melanie is the best! I had to leave my 3 month old puppy with her for 10 days. I researched and found this was the best place! She sent pictures to us throughout the trip. She has a huge yard that the dogs can run and a small kids pool to play in! She has taught me so many things to do to handle my dog walking. We’ve sent her a couple of times for training during the day. I can now actually walk my dog without her yanking me! My dog is so excited to see Melanie every time she goes there. We usually take her twice a week so that she can really run and play! Melanie also plays with the dogs! I highly recommend this place for your dog!
Eagle Mountain Dog Boarding is the place to take your fur babies. My dog loves Mel, her staff, and her fam. I know he is always loved, well-taken care of while we're away and that's such a piece of mind. I highly recommend EM Dog Boarding <3
I have two super anxious pups, which makes them hard to leave. Melanie is the best! She does such a great job with them and we always come back to happy and healthy dogs! It's so nice not to worry about them every time we board them! This is the only boarding place I will ever trust!
They took great care of my son's dog while we spent a few days in Yellowstone Park
Eagle Mountain Boarding is top quality. I’m so thankful I found this place. The owner is absolutely incredible. She is very loving and attentive to my sweet Australian Shepherd. She makes sure he is well taken care of and interacts with him like he’s her own. Recently she took care of my puppy for 6 weeks while I was out of town. She exercised him, trained him, played with him and loved him. She even bathed him before I picked him up. He’s always excited every time I have taken him there to be taken care of when I’m out of town. Such a big difference taking him there from other places I’ve experienced. If you want top service with lots of love for your fur babies and great prices as well, Eagle Mountain Boarding is the right place to go with. I’m picky with who takes care of my sweet puppy. This place will not disappoint. 💖
Melanie is quite simply the best. She is so knowledgeable, kind and genuinely cares about all the dogs in her care. She sends us pictures and updates regularly on how our senior pup is doing. We have noticed a drastic improvement in Lucy’s socialization and ability to play with other dogs since coming to daycare with Melanie. We’ve taken Lucy to other day cares in the past and when we picked her up, she was nervous, anxious and shaking - that’s not the case when we pick her up after a day with Mel. She’s tuckered out and so happy. We love that she was able to run, play and interact with other dogs all day rather than just sit at home alone.
I had my pup stay here for a week while I was at a work trip out of state, and let me just say he came back SO HAPPY. The owner even spoke to my husband and gave us some advice on our pup which was so helpful. Cider loved his time here and they will be our go to for grooming and boarding from here on out! It brings so much comfort when I knew he was loved like family and got the attention he so deserved!
Somewhere along the line they stopped doing grooming and is just a day care? I have brought my dog for over 3 years, just for her yearly grooming for summer. They were booked a month out, but I waited and did it. They did a fantastic job! I do love them because they dont cage their animals which my dog does better that way. But I felt like they said if I don't routinely get her groomed then I cant come here. They want regulars were you get groomed every 12 weeks or sooner. My dog has never needed that much. She definitely isnt a show dog and is just our emotional support dog for me and my girls since my divorce. So I might have to find a new place to groom her.
I called them on Wednesday and they weren’t able too get out new little Harley in to get trimmed for 6 weeks. I asked them to put me on the cancellation list and they called me back 10 min. later. I wanted him to have a good experience for his 1st time. A bad experience can really scar a puppy where grooming is a necessity for a Yorkie. Lori and her staff have always done a great job, a little hard to get into sometimes. Especially in the summer. But my dogs have always had great experience’s with her and her staff. Thanks guy’s Harley looked great!
I just want to thank On the Spot Pet Care for being so awesome yesterday. We've taken our two dogs here before to get their nails trimmed and were always pleased with the results. Yesterday we rescued a beautiful Sable colored German Shepherd who was pretty neglected. They were great to him and got him all cleaned up and smelling great. They even threw in a new handkerchief for him to celebrate his rescue. Thank you Toni for being so good to our new boy! We'll be back with our other two doggos soon and many times after that!
We had such an amazing experience at On the Spot Pet Care Free socialization class! We will definitely be going back ❤️ the trainer was so helpful in keeping it a safe and fun environment for everyone and answering all of our questions. 5 stars!
Someone please tell me why there is many dogs barking on Sunday with howls and cries if closed weekends??? Do you not care about animals or what??? Someone please explain. Also you will be an abused pet your next life.
The staff is caring and friendly. I was alarmed when I took my dog in last week to get groomed, and when I returned found him majorly limping and in a lot of pain :( I understand that things happen, and the staff did help me try and figure out what occurred. The odd thing was that they had originally thought the limp was normal, due to age, because in their system it said that my dog was16 yrs old... (I don't understand how this happened? he's 7) and continued to groom him. My dog is very loved and quite popular with my family and friends, so everyone was horrified by seeing him in pain, but he's also been very spoiled during this time and is recovering well. A vet friend came to my house to check on him, and ended up giving me the same advice/suggestions that the owner of On The Spot did. I don't know that we'll personally be back, but I do think the staff is kind, caring, and again, injuries can happen anywhere...
They are in a convenient location for me so I took my dog here for grooming but they did a hack job on his ears. I feel like a trim doesnt mean cut his ears off and stay true to the breed you are doing. Shihtzu should have ears that hang down somewhat and the hack job wasn’t even on both ears so he looks extra goofy. I would like to know who is good here because I was not happy with the results.
We LOVE On the Spot Pet Care! When my baby Skittles was staying overnights, we never worried about him because he was always well cared for, had great socialization, and we had glowing reports when we returned to get him! The facility may be small and older, but the love and care these employees show to the dogs make much more of a difference than if the place were big and brand new. These dogs don't get neglected or forgotten, they each are remembered by name and given attention and have constant socialization throughout the day, which I greatly appreciated when I knew I had to leave him in a foreign place. Not only do they have great overnight pet care, but they have awesome grooming services too! For a 3 night or more stay, your dog gets a free bath! Our little boy looked awesome after each cut/wash. Not only do they look great, they feel great too! Go and check them out! You won't be disappointed!
I wasn't happy with how my last pet daycare was handling my dogs. I gave this place a try, and I am very happy with them! I appreciate that they keep a close eye on all of the animals and avoid trouble as much as possible. They seem to really like my dogs, and the fact that I can keep an eye on them whenever I stop by is highly appreciated. I also like that they separate play areas by how active the dogs are. I don't need to worry about too much roughhousing when my dogs are hanging out with all of the calmer smaller dogs. A great place!
Took my Portuguese Water Dog pup here for the first time for doggie daycare and was very impressed right off with how kind the employees are! The check-in process was quick and easy. It was comforting to be able to rely on someone experienced to watch my pup when I was in a bind. I loved that he was able to socialize with so many different breeds under the careful watch of employees. It was reassuring upon picking my puppy up that he had been well taken care of during the day (bonus that he was well tuckered out after playing all day!). Next time I need a dog sister I’ll be using On the Spot Pet Care!
I started taking my husky here for daycare after I had a change in work location. These guys have been so patient and loving with my boy Jackal. He can be a bit crazy at times, but everyone at Sydney’s B&B has shown him and me nothing but the best treatment.
Well...the staff are so friendly and I think they are genuine. However, our dog came home with severe diarrhea and a sore on his nose. He did not eat for a couple of days after arriving at home. He was shaking when we picked him up and for several hours after getting home. I considered the diarrhea coincidental to perhaps some anxiety of being away from home (and that is what they said), but then I read the reviews and saw that so many others have had that problem! Did he eat the wrong food? Another dogs poop perhaps? Also, the sore on his nose... part of his nose has a knick out of it. Again I considered it just a fluke until I saw someone saying that their dog had the same problem! Strange! Maybe there is a sharp place on a fence or something!? Or a fight with another dog? Hmmmm. Not sure. I feel like I should have asked to tour the facility before we left our dog there. They have so many dogs there at once. I bet it is hard to manage all of them. I think our dog is scared of that many other dogs at once too. He is pretty old. So I just don't know.
I love this place! My dog is always well cared for and happy and healthy when I come to pick her up. You can tell the employees love their job and the dogs they're entrusted with.
This is the best boarding in the valley. The last time we left our two dogs Archie and June there, one of them suffered seizures and went into a coma (he was diagnosed with terminal cancer and had a very fast acting brain tumor). Cole was so caring and treated our pet as his own. We had to put Archie down while we were on vacation and Cole went above and beyond. He traveled back to pick up our other dog June so that she could be with Archie when he passed away. It really meant a lot to us how much care and love our dogs were shown by Cole. He took this awesome photograph of Archie for us.
We love it here and so does our dog. It’s safe and the prices are fair. Your pooch is returned clean after having a bath. I recommend it to all my dog owner friends who need to kennel their dog during trips.
We’ve taken our baby Dixie to about 3 different dog boarding places around the area and after visiting this place we knew this would be her forever boarding home! She stayed for 8 days and was so well taken care of and had so much fun. We were able to text the owners whenever we wanted updates and we knew she was in great hands. When we picked her up she was all clean, smelled better than ever and didn’t want to leave! We’ll definitely be bringing her back for more daycare dates in the future. This is the best place around 💓
Our dogs seemed like they Loved it here!!! The guy in charge was such a nice guy and really loved our dogs. We had them here for 5 days and so we really did our research because trusting your dogs with someone you want to make sure that someone is good with dogs! I've only heard good things!! They even gave our dogs a bath!!! We will continue to bring our pups here! :) Thanks!!!
Sydney's is the only place I will board my dog, Howie. Cole is so kind and he knows all of the dogs personally. He gives Howie a bath before he comes home, which is a total bonus!
Sydneys is family owned and operated. They care about the quality of care and not the number of dogs they can fit in the day, unlike most other places we have tried. We have been going to Sydney's for years. Our first dog, who was a border collie, who never did well bordered anywhere until we found Sydney's. He did so well there that we kept sending him. We now have another border collie, and he loves it so much there, he acts like it is his second home and the owners are his family. He is so excited even the mention that he gets to go and play there with the other dogs. It is so nice to see the owners each time we go. The excitement my dog shows when he sees them tells me all I need to know. They treat him well, and they know border collies since Sydney's is named after their much loved border collie. It is so nice that we always see the same faces now that we saw way back when we used to bring our old dog here, and they remembered us and our old dog even after his passing 5 years ago. These guys are great and we wouldn't trust our dog to anyone else.
I love this place!!!! My dogs get super excited once they realize we are around the corner from Sydney’s and they will go right in. When is time to go home they don’t want to leave. My dogs recognize the people who work there whenever we run into them. That’s my dog’s home away from home. 💕🐾🐾💕 …
